Thanks for the bar vids. Maybe I'll see them in-game one of these days.
Finally installed the mod which fixes the Running a Fever mission. The scene where Ryder takes the drugs is cute. Wonder why this never got on the patch list.

Wonder why this never got on the patch list. Same here, that scene is fun. And kudos to the devs for the Gilbert and Sullivan reference. Every SciFi franchise needs one and ME has a special connection to it as it is. Also really like the salarian with the button you should not touch at the collective's hideout. Nice little throwback to ME3. Not sure if I did this in my first playthrough already (too long ago, can't remember) but on Eos, when the Tempest is still parked at Site One, if you jump on top of it, Kello will actually call you on the radio with just a "Really, Ryder?" EDIT: Wow, just went back to page 1 of this thread and saw that this was actually the very first post in here.

On PC not sure about console you couldn't try the drug and get the funny cutscene with SAM singing and you couldn't pick the herb and return it to the sick human at the refuge where you fix the antenna for the Asari.

Just noticed that Dr. Aden's stasis pod can be found on the archon's flagship. I guess that fits the backstory from Truth and Trespass.

Yeah, that part is cool, if you take the time to look at the scan data from each pod.
I might end up "siding" with him more in the future (ie not sending him to jail asap) since I like the intel on the kett you receive as a result. Kallo isn't happy but oh well.
Much better reward, imo, than what you supposedly get from the angara astronomer if you lie about who destroyed the satellites. While I'm told I got valuable data, I didn't see it in my game, so it was worthless to me as a player.

On Cora's loyalty mission you can scan Sarissa's storage locker. The Bunks in Charybidis Point are pretty gross/cool too. The scan with the easter egg in The Hidden room on Khi Tasira is best though: On the mission on EOS where you track down the message from the Primus if you scan the relays all of them have a quote or name of a song of an artist that dies the year or yearbefore the game was released: This is one: The comets all have interesting names related to Bioware characters or projects of the Past like Jarovbees and Tamoko's Arrow.

Just noticed that when you enter the chamber before the Mithrava ascent where there's a semi-hidden console that opens the door to the ascent, you can look up and see one of the sages watching your progress.

I started a second playthrough playing as Sara Ryder.. My first "canon" play was as Scott. I'm noticing quite a few differences in some dialogue of the two that make it fun. One instance I thought was cool: When Jaal first comes aboard the ship and you can ask him some questions, one of the questions you ask him is about Angaran biology. When you ask him why he doesn't know how Angaran biology works, he asks if human's know how their eyes work. Playing as Scott, he gets slightly confused and says something like "Good point." Playing as Sara, she explains exactly how human eyes work and Jaal retorts saying she's mistaken his sarcasm and instead decided to show off. I thought it was amusing. This retort from Jaal is why I've hated him ever since. He asked, Sara gave an honest answer. Asshole.

Though the more I hear about the differences the more convinced I am they never should have done the twin thing. As it’s not different in that they both have interesting things to say. Sara has things to say, Scott’s just blank. I don’t know, I did nothing, etc is not additional dialogue differences it’s just dialogue removed. If you aren’t going to make two fully realized characters just make one.

I kinda saw it as him being a sore loser that Sara actually could back up her words so he retaliated by commenting on her failing to see his point. Interacting with him reminds me of when I talk to other aspies.

But she clearly didn’t understand him. A answer showing understanding would be something like. I’m a scientist so I do know, but I understand your point that most people don’t so I shouldn’t expect you to.

I would hope most humans have a basic understanding of how their own bodies function and why certain things happens when. The question about angaran electric fields or whatever seemed pretty basic. It would be like asking a human why they perspire.

It would be like asking a human why they perspire. The question was how long has your species had electromagnetic abilities how did they evolve. He says he doesn’t know, biology isn’t a interest of his. Then you pressure him on it which is where the how do human eyes question works. Let’s go with perspiring. How long sure average person can make a random ass guess which boils down to pretty much always as most mammals sweat. Would average person not jumping on google whose been out of school a few years know primates have a larger amount of sweat glands than most mammals. How did they evolve. I’m not sure many biologists are sure about that outside basic need to regulate heat evolution rules. But his electromagnetic ability is different. It’s not a normal thing for other species in his area so the a answer for how long isn’t as easy and how it evolved is even harder. They don’t have a specific this is when humans first gained biotics event. Basically male Ryder is friendly about it but displays nothing about his skills, background well ever. Female Ryder at best was just being a nerd answering a rhetorical question. But kind of comes across as a know it all douche, mainly thanks to the set up of how the questions were asked. Both are viable options for a single character which is what they should have had.

He never really bothered me with that line as I do think they intended for Sara to miss the point but I also think Jaal wasn't the type to hold that against her. He comes off as the kind of person where you say what ticks you off and move on without a grudge because it's not personal and not important enough to judge someone unless the really important decisions come up. Still, I get why people would be soured to his reaction when it comes off as a little dickish.

Female ryder just finishes strong by being more dickish with the follow through.
If I ask someone about Tiki drinks and they say, I don't know I'm not a drinker. I'm not going to follow up with come on you got to know at least a little bit about mixed drinks. The person let me know its not their thing, so I'd drop it then.

Those autodialogue moments really make me wish those were left up to the player. They really seemed to want to play up Sara as a dork with the way she might act around Suvi to her reading Jaal asking a rhetorical question as literal. But it's not like those two were the only ones as well. Jaal once compared the Asari race to the Kett while talking to Peebee and Peebee accidentally offends Vetra about her parenting Syd.

Yeah each game they trend further and further into having more and more auto-dialogue. It's a shame.
