So... did anyone ever figure out what the Ser Pounce-A-Lot special ability did in DAA, or was that just them trolling us? It's a real thing -- "Used in combat, Ser Pounce-a-lot will instantly revive all party members as long as one member is able to use him. Party members are revived with a fraction of their health and no stamina or mana." (taken from the DA Wiki because I was too lazy to write it out myself, though I did use it in-game). Save |

Anders clearly didn't tell the Grey Wardens what Ser Pouce-a-Lot could do because what idiots would want him to get rid of a cat that useful? They thought he made me soft. Hardly, and he can also revive the entire party at tricky moments. So he gave Ser Pounce away to someone in Amaranthine. Lucky person who probably also doesn't appreciate how useful the cat can be.
The Archon has a fondness for cats. Do you suppose Ser Pounce was the result of one of his little experiments? After all it was Tevinter who originally bred the Mabari.

O_O! I never thought to use it in combat. That is one uber kitty. Yup. May I also add here that Ser Pounce-a-lot's Heroes of Dragon Age version is the best? Just look at him. I bet he ran away from whoever Anders left him with and went to fight crime on his own.What a magnificent beast! |
