Scotty PT done. Scott and Cora did some stargazing before the last mission. It was sweet. Dunn died because I didn't do the Turian ark, so I couldn't get Rix to take the 3rd Pathfinder position. I think it's the first time I see that version of the dialogues during the last push. Moshae set up as the Ambassador. I never tried anyone else. Sloane showed up, even if the only thing I did on Kadara was get the Kett transponder and I didn't piss her off. Now I wonder if the Kadara quest chain has different dialogues if done post-Meridan as there is post-Meridian banter in the Tempest. One quest failed: Contagion... My Sweeper IX with zero aug and a scope ended up doing the job in the last boss fight, but my build suck against Behemoths. Hardest thing to kill in that PT, even with a focus on tech abilities, armor damage and the flamethrower. Captain Dunn is one of my favourite characters. I also have never made anyone other than The Moshae Ambassador although have been tempted to make Morda ambassador a few times just to piss Tann off. Re Contagion poor Aunty Ruth abandoned with the Roekaar!!!!

I was wondering if the Remnant VI was more powerful than it should be because of the Power Overhaul mod. The mod improve the skill text by putting all the stats with bonuses, so you can't compare that with the vanilla text which just write the basic value and never increase them despite picking stat increase. So I resorted to field testing with Scotty. Only thing I did was install Better Squad, because Power Overhaul has its own version of that and I wanted to keep the difficulty to Hardcore. Note Power Overhaul squad improvements are around 120% better, while Better Squad is like 200% across the board. Anyway, I'm not seeing a difference, except maybe less combos because Power Overhaul adds more detonators and removing it screwed a bit my point distribution. Anyway, Remnant VI's beam was melting an Eiroch faster than my flamethrower did... Now to go spend a few hours in character creation to make a Sara (I think I'm going to keep a similar look for my Scott).

In the previous post I forgot to mention something. Lies! I was told that when you finish the main plot worlds behave as if you fixed the vaults. Havarl was still at 14% when I got there post-Meridian and the quest to fix the vault there wasn't failed. I can't believe I read that online and believed it since 2017... Yes, it's the first time I do Meridian without fixing all the vaults first. Not that important, but now I'm wondering the order I should play things to have interesting content left post-Meridian and not just "tasks". The game has post-Meridian banter and dialogues that I never heard because I stop playing after that point usually as it's 97-99% complete usually. Pre-Meridian required: - Turian ark (to save Dunn) - Loyalty missions (at least some of them) - Contagion (because it fails otherwise or did it fail because Dunn died?) - Kadara's main storyline if I want the Charlatan for the final Post-Meridian - Movie Night (?) - remaining stuff Are they any other quests that are inaccessible post Meridian or it's just Contagion? ------ I made a Sara I'm happy with, but for the sake of "changes" I downloaded a hair colors mod. I wanted a lighter hair color and the ones by default just looked "fake" to me. All my Sara/Scott hard dark brown/black hair until now. Next step, deciding the character build...

I always complete everything pre Meridian except for some of the random pop-up quests so can't help you out re what ones are available post game. All three arks are required to save Dunn, but you only did two didn't you that's why you are mentioning just Ark Natanus? Natanus is the only one not tied to a loyalty mission or main quest, so it needed its own entry. Also, I like keeping Dunn alive. Why would you not activate all the vaults, did you just forget Voeld? The completionist in me and the fact they are necessary to make planets more inhabitable for humans and Angara just means I could never not complete one. The Voeld one is a pain in the butt because of the temperature thing but I cannot imagine not completing one. Are you going to share a picture of your Ryder here? You can activate the vaults post-Meridian. It doesn't fit with the post-Meridian activation cinematic, but gameplay wise you can. I'll share a pic once I'm 100% happy with her hair. I'm still thinking of making her "blonder", as her hair seems darker in-game than in the character creator.

My new Sara, with "helmet hair". Currently getting ready to go down on Habitat 7... I'm thinking of trying Tactical Cloak with Shotgun...despite preparing the character to use a sniper, even have an N7 Valiant IX in inventory and no shotgun. I just prefer "melee" classes really. Other skills, I'm not sure. She's going to start with Scott's stuff until I can respec anyhow. It's really hand-me-downs time at the start of a NG+.

Very nice is that hairstyle from a mod, I don't remember it? It's a base game hairstyle, found among the "males" ones (and the same one Daddy Ryder has). But the color is from a mod, because the game own "blond" colors are way too fake looking. Ah yes I see it now. Yeah I never make blonde haired characters as they just look completely un-natural. The only one I have made with any of the weird coloured ones is my favourite Sara, I played her as casual/emotional and very outgoing and romanced PB.

dazk lol, I almost used that hair/color combo, and also going casual/emotional but that's just my favorite Ryder to play. Might or not romance PB. I haven't done Suvi or Liam or Jaal yet... Made it to Eos with Sara. Tested out: - Tech Cloak (without 6th rank as I was missing 2 pts for that) with shotgun (N7 Crusader IX) and I'm not feeling it. The recharge time makes it more an escape tool than an offensive combat one, even when going Sentinel profile to reduce it the cooldown more. - Remnant VI (still had it because it was enabled on Scott in the NG+ save), Lance, Cryo beam. It made Habitat 7 a cakewalk on Hardcore... - Remnant VI, Singularity, Cryo Beam + Sniper rifle (N7 Valiant IX) on Site 2 ambush...and it sucked big time. I probably should have used Singularity more, it's actually good at stripping shields and crowd-control, but totally useless against the Fiend. The Valiant seemed to do zero damage to the Fiend while he had the cryo beam 50% armor debuff on as well. Weirdly Cora didn't have points spent but both Liam/Vetra were fully built when they joined. That didn't happen in my previous NG+, I had to rebuild all the squadmates. I might go with a biotic build: singularity, lance and something else. Sara just before leaving the Nexus

Sara just before leaving the Nexus There is an augmentation MOD or an option on the skill path that lets you stay cloaked for a while even when firing and shortens the cool down IIRC. Element Zero do you remember what it is? Is it the Adrenaline MOD that refills the abilities when you kill someone? I have never encountered the squad not having all their points in NG+ I did an Insanity PT with Tactical Cloak, Overload and Turbocharge with the Valkyrie Modded for Auto Fire which made it pretty easy. Cloak hit Turbocharge and empty a clip or two into the toughest enemies even the Remnant Tiller Progenitor and it was over. That's an even better angle and photo of your Sara.

Fusion Mod of Adrenaline makes cooldowns essentially irrelevant. It makes any Ryder dramatically more powerful, of course. I like it (while simultaneously complaining tyat the gane is too easy 😆), but I can understand why some might not want to use it. azarhal, if you enjoy explosions and aggressive combat, the following is great: Sentinel Lance/Annihilation/Energy Drain Once your tech passives are evolved, you become immortal; but it's fun from level one. The three powers have perfect synergy, and create a non-stop cycle of detonations. In regard to squaddies being "unevolved" in NG+, it's determined by whether they were fully evolved before import. If you leave any skills incomplete, the squaddie resets for NG+. They can also then lose access to their "loyalty skill" until after their loyalty mission is completed in tye current game.

Build cogitation continued. Biotic profile - Annihilation - Lance (or Throw) - Something that regen shield if Annihilation shield regen isn't enough. Although, shield oscillator aug with small weapon clip (shotgun/Talon) might open the slot for something else. Weapon: I'm going to try the Disciple and Scattershot shotguns. If I don't like them, I'll go back to my old pals the Piranha and/or the Talon. Armor: Heleus once I unlock level X schematics a few levels to go (currently using the starting Pathfinder X set given when doing a NG+) If I feel trollish, I might do X/Pull/Throw. I ran a Charge/Pull/Throw build in my first PT back in 2017, using Pull to use an enemy as "shield" was funny and then throwing them at their pals. Priceless. I might try the Tech Cloak build I was thinking of doing once I get the Fusion mod of Adrenaline, I don't think I have one in inventory as I'm pretty sure I got it on another character than the one used for my NG+. And now I'm wondering if Tech Cloak stays on when Annihilation is on. It's only for research of course...

You could substitute something for Energy Drain, preferably a Tech Power. The advantages of ED are that it both primes and detonates; and it constantly replenishes your barriers as you expend the on Lance. ED, combined with the Life Support evo of Team Support (IIRC) makes any Ryder nearly immortal. You can wade into pretty much any situation. Annihilation is amazing because it primes, does damage over time, weakens enemies to additional damage, and even levitates foes that get too close. I always enjoy the aura of floating debris after a fight. All those explosions leave a lot of detritus.

Annihilation is amazing because it primes, does damage over time, weakens enemies to additional damage, and even levitates foes that get too close. I always enjoy the aura of floating debris after a fight. All those explosions leave a lot of detritus. I think I had Annihilation, Throw (double of course) and Energy Drain spec on my 2nd playthrough. That was amazing, but one needs to get closer. That floating debris has had me killed on MP few times, its so freaking amazing looking as they float and I'm hypnotized...

I played all the way until going to Aya. Even did all the side quests opened the first time around. I even "got lucky" and found all 3 datapads for the "lost scientist". I usually get to the vault where that quest ends before finding all 3, lol. I field tested: Biotic profile - Annihilation - Lance/Throw - Energy Drain/Charge Weapon: Deep Impact shotgun with vintage heat sink, my weapon overhaul mod gave it almost the same stat as the Disciple with schematic up to X (instead of stopping at V). Armor: Shield oscillator on chest for +25% shield on kill. There is really something that turn me off Energy Drain. It synergize well with the other two abilities. I even got it to 90% shield recharge (+ the DOT, so over 100% shields per usage). Kinda OP really. I'm pretty sure my issue with it is the lack of feedback. Charge isn't that good because Annihilation is "turned off" while you charge , but it helps getting closer to enemies to set Annihilation on them and recharge shields. Lance eating my shield wasn't so great, so I switched to Throw which have a lower cooldown. I might respec to switch Lance to use the cooldown too. Time will tell. I respecced Annihilation. I went with the shield restore the first time, but switched to the enemy lifting evolution (Vortex) instead. It's hilarious, just go right where Ketts drop form their ship and watch them never touching the ground unless they have shields. I also switched to the Explorer profile. I like the Biotic profile for the extended radius, but Explorer helps with the tech recharge, biotic damage, weapon damage and power/shield restoration (see Energy Drain restoring 90% shield). I also reached level 80 so I crafted level X of: - Scattershot shotgun (I haven't tried it yet) - Heleus Armor (I look awesome now!) I'm also going to field test a different tech ability to see how well Shield Oscillator works on weapon to recharge shields (supposed to be +25% on clip empty). If I can replaced Energy Drain usage with just the Shield Oscillator on weapon/armor, I'll put incinerate/flamethrower/cryobeam there for some anti-armor power.

Then enjoy the view with your favourite drink with umbrellas, when the enemies swing in the air helplessly... oh yes, double throw or double warp will annihilate them.

You can also hit the Kett and Outlaws drop ships with a Cobra and it kills the enemies in the shuttle. I always use the Heleus Armour for Sara. Singularity + biotic explosion, way cheaper than a Cobras. You can also use a Falcon, lob one or two grenades in there. But I feel the Annihilation Vortex that just stop them from touching down and keep them helpless is the most hilarious. They almost look bewildered too, with the way they start to float. Makes me think that I wanted to try something: a Talon with the grenade augs. Probably totally useless, but I just want to see how many tiny grenades are created as the Talon shoot multiple projectiles like a shotgun but isn't a shotgun.
