Amen friend. I ran out of decryptions, but I’m romancing PeeBee so I do all the stupid vault puzzle out of an RP sense of obligation and want to yank out my hair, haha. I am terrible at most puzzles, so thank god for the decryption keys!!!!!!! Are you playing on PC, there's a mod you can use that lets you buy up to 1,000 I think form the Tempests store. The puzzle I was talking about was the one on the left hand side of the vault, where if you activate the consoles in the right order a pillar will pop-up on the other side of the vault that gives you one of the remnant data cores that you have to collect 9 of. The problem is after activating one you have to go back to the starting one and turn it off and recharge your shields etc. It always takes me ages to figure it out and is complicated by about half way through a terminal pops up in another area that you have to go to and activate. It's not a necessity to get this one for the mission as there are some other unmarked ones in an unmarked vault on Elaaden and one in one of the random quests on Voeld called "Subjugated" I think. Yeah, I got that one and I also went and got the skill points, more to make PeeBee swoon watching me be smart, lol. But they’re both pains in the asses. I mod a lot, but I try not to use anything that feels like cheating.

And despite all the pirates, I think Kadara is my favourite planet, the rocks and vegetation are just so intricate and stunning to look at.

I just wish they had put more vegetation on all the planets except obviously Voeld and not have populated them with pseudo dinosaurs but been a bit more creative but they are minor gripes.

So we got through Liam’s mission, and I had a blast, but I got this shot of Hayden looking like “Man, what did I do to get this guy on my squad?” And Liam is just so oblivious.

Yeah I think Havarl and Elaaden aer mine. Though I kind of like Eos as well.Would have been nice I think to have the vault have a bigger impact on Voeld's environment when you do it in the game given how difficul tthe cold means you have to kind ofwrap up most tasks quickly. But I guess that's how they designed it.

Yeah whilst it is a fun mission I agree Liam is a bit of an idiot. TBH though the same could be said of Peebee and her quests

Taking PeeBee and Cora to the Asari Ark. This is going to be fun. I actually find PeeBee and Cora to be a good combination in combat. I like Zap but had too many glitches with it getting stuck or spawning in strange places like The Tempest. Drack and Cora are my go to combo for the really hard fights though. Zap spawning in The Tempest

Just for the record and without trying to sound TOO defensive, I don't cheat to beat the game even on Insanity, I use good tactics and gun builds. Using a store mod that allows me to buy as many Decryption Keys just makes the game less tedious especially when you are playing the game for the 15th time. Most of the MODS I use are to do things like shut-up SAM re the environmental stuff, armour aesthetics, cosmetic stuff like hair etc. and a great one (MEA Fixpack) that fixes broken things like the SOS mission on Kadara. Thanks to Element Zero in particular optimizing weapons makes most of the game easier, in particular The Valkyrie with 3 Kinetic Coils and an Auto-fire augmentation (you need to have the extra slot from the Viability points terminal) is a game changer as is using the Fusion Mod of Adrenaline on your armour. Another great tip is using The Asari Sword or any other one that has the extra augmentation slot and putting as many Kinetic Coils on it as possible as the extra damage on your melee weapon applies to all damage.

I say “cheat” because I’m horribly bad at soduko style puzzles and it feels like giving myself an easy out instead of trying to get better at it.

I started doing the puzzles at the beginning but yeah likewise I am hopeless at them and after one took me 45 minutes my first PT I used the decryption keys every time after that although there are at least two that you cannot use a key for. One on Elaaden and one on Khi Tisara.

Yeah I d osometimes use ,mosd in games like hairstyle mods as wel but I don' tthink I' dever use the stoer mod though as usually I can either byu or loot enough of the decryption keys to see me through the game. The onl ytime I tend t oneed the book reall yis fo rth eEos ones mostly because I haven' t acquired any yet due to it effectivel ybeing the first level .Obviously ther are a couple of terminals that don't take decryption keys so I tend to use the book on them as well.

Actually as has been mentioned before it is completely stupid that you have an AI in your head but the human has to solve the console puzzles. The AI would be able to do it in the blink of an eye, maybe it's beneath SAM to do such things!!!!

Every time I think about replaying, I come to the same conclusion: I maxed out my enjoyment after 15+ PTs. (I truly can't recall how many I eventually did.) I've already thoroughly enjoyed every gameplay style, at this point; and the story beats are always the same. dazk, I'll always wish SP support had lasted a bit longer. There were bugs to fix, of course, and many things needed some game-balance tuning. Also, I really wish I could've gotten my hands on some MP guns. The cool shotguns are all Kett tech. The Outcasts' "Shorty" would be insane, and cosmetically refreshing, had I been able to mod it in SP. I believe KrrKs made it available via PC mod, but I'm on PS4. If I were on PC, I'd try installing a handful of mods and see if that sufficed to get immersed in another PT. Oh, well.

We are lucky on PC that several Mods fixed issues after support stopped and never played MP so don't know what I am missing weapon wise!!!

Every time I think about replaying, I come to the same conclusion: I maxed out my enjoyment after 15+ PTs. (I truly can't recall how many I eventually did.) I've already thoroughly enjoyed every gameplay style, at this point; and the story beats are always the same. dazk , I'll always wish SP support had lasted a bit longer. Oh, well. Yeah I think that was the thing, have tried every combo etc. of PT and romances and my 16th PT stalled at Elaaden ATM. We are lucky on PC that several Mods fixed issues after support stopped and never played MP so don't know what I am missing weapon wise!!! I ended up making 7 or 8 characters, but only finished the game twice.

Yeah it would have given us the incentive to play more if there had been DLC for it I can't lie. But I've enjoyed all of my playthroughs I think the fact I've spaced my runs out a bit has helped keep the game fresh. As the playthrough I'm doing now is th efirst timw eI've played the game this year as I finished my last run on New Years day. Like you 2 I think I've exhausted most if not all the optoins I still play though because I still enjoy it. I do lose a bit of steam sometimes due to the fact I've done it before but I still find the combat and everything a lot of fun and that helps keep me going when I'm in the middle of a playthrough. A lot of the time though my brain doesn't remember what I've done or haven't done in pervious playthroughs so in some ways I think that also helps keep it fresh. I think I've done in and around 20 playhtroughs now or at least I think the playthrough I'm doing is somewhere around 20. But like I said I tend to space them out. Just got to Kadara last night to speak to Vehn Terev about how to track the Archon's ship. So will be starting on Kadara and Elaaden today as well as working through swome of the loyalty missions such as Cora and the Asari Ark.
