Serenity made her way around the Nexus today, introducing herself to the leaders and dealing with a saboteur whom she exiled she promised a lady Turian to help finding out the truth about her husband's incarceration
who in turn had been convicted of murder, though according to him and his wife the accusation was false
Serenity then got a new ship from Director Tann, meeting a new team member in the form of turian Vetra Nyx aboard the ship we also met salarian pilot Kahlo, and the humans Suvi and Gil...asari doctor Lexi also joined the team
on Eos we ran into some more kett, as well as some smugglers and a very spunky asari named Peebee who helped Serenity and the team to uncover the Remnant
at a kett facility they also ran into krogan Drack from clan Nakmor, who promised to help only if Serenity was able to kill more kett and clear the skies as asked Serenity did so, activating the vault on Eos with help from Peebee, and killing some more kett. finding out a new lead from the vault's database, Serenity set about to put down her first outpost, with Drack joining the team.
Serenity decided to continue the founding idea of the Initiative, survive and explore and started Prodomos as a science outpost to help uncover more secrets and support the Nexus Director Addison was...surprisingly happy with the accomplishment, but Serenity realized she was hiding something...with Addison declaring that though the outpost was a success, they had been merely bought time and needed more outposts. With those words Addison added that they should return to the Nexus as soon as possible in order to move forward.

Think I made a mistake in letting that Angaran AI bunk with SAM. She scares the hell out of me...

Today Serenity "met" with the Kett leader who tried to take over the Tempest, she then kinda crash-landed on Aya meeting the Angaran people
after making her intents of looking inside Aya's vault clear, Resistance leader Efra gave her some leads to help her gain his trust. After all...actions speak louder then words. In order to keep an eye on her, another Angaran named Jaal decided to join her team...Serenity was confused with his greetings however
I also did a few more side quests, and spoke to Endymion (Scott) on the Hyperion, Serenity decided to tell her brother the truth despite knowing how much it'd hurt him. After all, they had always been honest with one another, and she wasn't about to hurt that trust.
--
So doing my second playthrough there's a few things that bug me a bit about Ryder's interactions with other people namely...the first conversation with Cora, I mean...Cora is allowed to be somewhat angry with Ryder being appointed as Pathfinder, but you can't get angry back by saying you "didn't want to be" if that's how you want to role-play your Ryder (I mean after the near death experience in the prologue you can voice reluctance but not outright anger...what's with that?)
'cause I head canon Serenity as primarily a science person, she's all about exploring and unraveling secrets (so she gets along swimmingly with Peebee and Suvi (despite not agreeing about religion with the latter)
who hates fighting and only does so because let's face it...Andromeda is one scary place with not so many people who're happy to see them I also head canon that -like Cora- Serenity's biotics flare up when she's upset...
I also kinda hate how very few protagonists in Bioware don't show emotions about dead relatives or friends... I mean, in one scene they're bawling their eyes out, but it lasts only for that one scene! Next scene they're all "I'm fine...don't worry" as a rather emotional person that bugs me sometimes...let my protagonists cry, let them scream and throw with things every once in a while damnit!
then again...I suppose that's what head canon is for (and I suppose certain emotions like crying are hard to animate as well)

Yeah it's an interesting decision that one, no matter what you do someone gets cranky at you except if you shoot it I think it's PeeBee and maybe Cora as well that says it scared the shit out of them after you do the above. Have you spoken to it and listened to what it says while in SAM Node?

Like when she gets lost in her thoughts when Liam is talking to her and then snaps out of it and Liam apologises for talking about someone dying or something then apologises. Sara makes a statement about still trying to get over it. I can't specifically remember a lot of instances but I think she also talks to Suvi about how hard its been as well as Scott after he wakes up. I do agree 100% about the switch on/switch off thing its pretty immersion breaking at times. Talking about Cora have you read the MEA book Initiation about Cora/Alec/SAM? It gives a greater insight into Cora and why she couldn't be Pathfinder anyway.

and yeah, when talking about dad Ryder or Scott I tend to make sure to use the emotional options...but like I said I just wish the emotions were a bit more consistent (then again, spending hours with a character who's sad might make people depressed while playing )

Yeah listening to Ryder's comments as they take out each mine is kind of funny. Took out Eos's Architect earlier firs tone on this playthrough. Beat it firsttime which is pretty rare for me as usually that one gets me at leas tonce or twice. Mainl ybecaus eusually I find the Eos one one of the hardest.

So when I was going through the Voeld vault I had driven around a little too long and I kept on dying because of the cold, thinking those little bubbled heaters in the vault were energy fields that would kill me! Took me waaay too many attempts to clear that vault, haha.

TBH I'm kind of glad almost once I've got that omne don that I don' thav et othink about it any more. Haven' t done it on this playthrough yet but then I'm only just really starting on Voeld now in my current playthrough

It still gets me now and then but nowhere near as much as Eos's and Kadara's

I am terrible at most puzzles, so thank god for the decryption keys!!!!!!! Are you playing on PC, there's a mod you can use that lets you buy up to 1,000 I think form the Tempests store. The puzzle I was talking about was the one on the left hand side of the vault, where if you activate the consoles in the right order a pillar will pop-up on the other side of the vault that gives you one of the remnant data cores that you have to collect 9 of. The problem is after activating one you have to go back to the starting one and turn it off and recharge your shields etc. It always takes me ages to figure it out and is complicated by about half way through a terminal pops up in another area that you have to go to and activate. It's not a necessity to get this one for the mission as there are some other unmarked ones in an unmarked vault on Elaaden and one in one of the random quests on Voeld called "Subjugated" I think.

Amen friend. I ran out of decryptions, but I’m romancing PeeBee so I do all the stupid vault puzzle out of an RP sense of obligation and want to yank out my hair, haha. I am terrible at most puzzles, so thank god for the decryption keys!!!!!!! Are you playing on PC, there's a mod you can use that lets you buy up to 1,000 I think form the Tempests store. The puzzle I was talking about was the one on the left hand side of the vault, where if you activate them in the right order a pillar will pop-up on the other side of the vault that gives you one of the remnant data cores that you have to collect 9 of. Yea hthe Sodoku things aer not easy luckily I hav the strategy guide if I don't have a key. So I can just copy the answer in from that.
