Cheers, I had this conversation with Kitsumi when I first installed her MDOS (and the game crashed) and she assured me that "Mods don't work like that" or something to that effect/affect. I do have her armour replacer for PeeBee installed and I think that is what caused issues with landing at Kadara before but it has happened when I didn't have her MODS installed as well. I winder if it the armour replacer for Cora, (Harper Commando Skin by FITZ 3D) as that from the top of my mind is the only mod I have had consistently installed in nearly all my PT's. It's weird that it is only (usually) Aya, Kadara and Khi Tisara and it is nearly and always just the first landing, could it be that there are a lot of assets (he says talking out his ass) that have to load for those places as well? Hm, Harper Commando Skin is 'just' a retexture, that should not cause problems.
What I think happens (no idea if i'm correct with this) is that the different bundles that the models and textures are loaded with have some sort of load priority. If the assets are loaded in with the highest priority one first and then after again with a lower priority bundle it works. When they are loaded into memory the other way around the game crashes. Now, first landing on a planet and loading a save there seems to switch around the order in which assets are loaded. And I have no idea why, nor why e.g., Captain Dunn's Jacket is loaded into Khi Tasira at all. Add to that some problems that Frosty has with bundle editing, and suddenly a mod that worked fine for ages crashes in specific places.

Thanks for the explanation. I'll have another look through my mods and see if one of them stands out that I have been using forever and that would be an issue before I do Khi Tisara for the first time.

So didn't post the day before but got a bunch of stuff done on Kadara up until you have to go back to the Port. Then called The Tempest and headed back to do stuff on The Nexus and pick up the quests like Contagion that you have to roam the galaxy scanning and then end up back on Kadara anyway. Whilst scanning I did the system Cora's LM is in so decided to do that while I was there and lock Cora's romance down (hopefully) although hers can be tricky. In her LM made Sarissa Pathfinder but exposed that she had let Ishara die. The first few times I played I was always shocked about this and replaced her with Vadaria but forever now I have let her stay Pathfinder, it makes no sense replacing her with someone so inexperienced and I have come to believe she actually did the right thing or at least her intent was right to save the Ark. Sara now has romances going with everyone except Gil, poor Gil I have never romanced him. Pic's Kadara Sunset Goodbye (for now) Got a new pet his name is Boo Cpt. Dunn giving a quest to run around the Nexus and the Galaxy I like my Blue Armour Sarissa you're a naughty girl

Yesterday Sara, left Kadara and returned to The Tempest and accepted Reye's party invitation, created a new implant for Alain and then returned to Kadara and finished those two things then headed back to The Nexus to thwart Knight's datardly plans. Ended it peacefully. Found a Scrambler to incriminate Spender and gave it to a comm's guy. Did some other stuff then headed back to Kadara, got an email from Sloane to meet her so did that and agreed to meet her in a cave to meet with the Charlatan. Sloane copped a bullet in the back and Reyes and Sara continued their romance in a different part of the cave. Collective are protecting the new outpost, Sara killed old Skinner and headed to Aya. I liked the Reyes romance I haven't done it before. Ran around Aya doing various tasks including meeting with The Moshae and Akksul then back to The Tempest and got a cryptic Vid Call from Eos, so that's next. Pic's Sara partied hard after trying Umi's new drink And Enjoyed some quiet intimate time with Reyes Hey lets meet a guy called The Charlatan in a cave what could possibly go wrong?

Played catch up on PeeBee's LM headed to EOS and retrieved the piece there and fought of The Roekaar trying to attack Prodromos, then went to Havarl and found her piece of Rem Tech and also did Jaal's LM. Had to replay the final fight as I reflexively hit RMB and shot Aksuul. Then to Kadara to go to the site where you are tricked and then returned to The Port and left and went and did Liam's LM, both his and Jaal's LM I just bull rushed them didn't investigate everything. PB and Sara enjoyed some time on the float in the escape pod Did some floating on EOS Pretty Havarl Akksul is a bad shot almost as bad as Tevint I like the fight against the Roekaar Time to kill some Pirates

When I get to Khi Tisara I am going to see if the game crashes as usual and if I can be bothered start eliminating the most likely suspects. I have uninstalled the PeeBee armour I was using by Kitsumi as it didn't appear to be working as intended. She should have been wearing the new armour out side the Tempest and her normal casual clothes on The Tempest but was wearing the armour in both situations. The only other MODS I have used consistently are MEA Fix Pack, Powers rebalanced and Better Squad all the others appear to me to just be cosmetic like Pretty Cora and Character Creator complexion replacers or clothing texture replacers.

The only other MODS I have used consistently are MEA Fix Pack, Powers rebalanced and Better Squad all the others appear to me to just be cosmetic like Pretty Cora and Character Creator complexion replacers or clothing texture replacers. It's definitely costume and/or hair mods that cause the loading crash. Given you don't appear to be using any long hair mods that would interfere with costumes I have to assume it's just the costume mods. I think I've only had trouble with the Kitsumi ones for Cora.

So arrived on Elaaden and you guessed it, it was hot. So went with my standard procedure for Elaaden which is do an anti-clockwise circle clearing stuff to the South-East and then heading North mainly doing Forward stations and anything nearby to the North East Monolith. Then again doing Forward Stations heading towards to the Western most Monolith and then the next one to the south. Then the Vault. Now it's not so hot. Cleared all the other icons and did Lexi's psycho profiles and got crazy number 1 to take his medicine. Found Annea's water and told her she had to share but she didn't want to and ran away. Did the Flop House and avoided stopping at any outlaw/scavenger camps except ended up picking up the volatile canister quest as I blew one up doing one of the Medical Cache mission points. Next to sort out the tension at the Krogan Colony but might do Drack's LM first. Pic's Found this alternate water source to Annea's by accident for only the second time Found a model of The Millenium Falcon for Avela Found Annea's water source, such pretty blue PB, fungus and water

So completed Elaaden yesterday all except the Architect. Next PB's LM and Avitus's trip to Ark Natanus then H-047c. Pic's Dracks LM, PB is quite good in this one with some unique lines.

Killed The Architect, I am struggling a bit with my combat on Hardcore which is unusual for me and a lot is to do with not remembering where the Architects in particular go, getting old sucks. Also I just seem to be taking way more damage than usual (as does the Nomad) for some reason. Question for you KrrKs does FMM automatically know what order to load the MODS in? I used to have things like MEA Fixpack at the top and then less important mods lower down like Shut Up SAM and Body and Face texture stuff, how should I actually sort them in FMM? Anyway after Elaaden headed to The Nexus, then to Aya, then to Eos for Liam's football game and then did PB's LM and for the first time in a while let Kalinda live. Pic's Liam's Football game, Sara and Liam sneaked off and played a bit of one on one instead. Elaaden scenery Took down the Architect and ran off with it's tail between it's legs Sent Spender to Jail, Drack made sure Addison was on the Krogan;s side this time Got into a bar fight with Drack Found Ljeta, lied to to Rorik. Found Ark Natanus and Avitus found his spine and became Pathfinder PB's LM planet is great, plus PB delivers the punchline to Kalinda Sara changed clothing colours 100% Viability

Do you think you will get to 100% completion this time? You remembered. No I have never been able to get 100%, I gave up trying. Even following a mission list and completing everything on it that should have meant I'd get 100% I always end up on 99%. I deliberately skip certain missions these days. Is there an achievement for 100%? I gave up chasing those after AC Black Flag years ago as it wasn't good for my blood pressure and I just don't have the patience in terms of stupid combat ones. EDIT: There is no achievement for 100% and I have only 45 out of 55 achievements and I know for sure that at least 5 of those I have definitely completed the necessary tasks etc.

Load Order for frosty mods is purely defined by the order that you have set in the mod pack. There is no automatism to figure out what should go first.
The newer mod manager versions (1.0.6.2 beta2 and likely the release version from yesterday evening) have a combobox selector for how the load order is represented. Either 'List', i.e., the same as used in older Frosty versions, with the mods at the top of the list being loaded first and potentially overwritten by mods loaded later. The other variant 'Priority' is just the reverse of that, so mods higher up in the overwrite mods lower. Having bug fix mods set to be overwritten by other mods is the best thing to do, really. There are a few mods that only play nice together if one is loaded before the other, but at least one of the mods involved should state that on the mod page. I think one of the Addison Hair mods and some other Hair replacer for Ryder fall into that category. Other than that the only ones I know of involve some of my mods: - 'Squad Changes' from my changes pack has to be loaded after 'Fixes Addendum'
- Kahmu's 'Power Overhaul' must be loaded after 'Fixes Addendum' from my changes pack page.
- 'Groundside Firepower Pack' has to be loaded after Munchyfly's 'No Consumable Cooldown'
- 'Groundside Firepower Pack' has to be loaded after 'Andromeda Firearms Rebalanced'
- Inventory size increase mods must be loaded after 'Groundside Firepower Pack'
- Certain Cryo Pod perk mods should be loaded after 'Groundside Firepower Pack', but prevent the new items to from that mod to drop
- MunchyFly's 'Powers Pack (Rage No Screen FX)' must be loaded after 'Powers Pack'
- Compatibility patches must always be loaded after both mods that are patched.
My current load order is (supposed to be) be organized so that all bugfix mods are loaded first, then all QoL mods. After that some small game mechanic mods, larger overhauls and their compatibility patches. Then texture mods ( I don't use mesh replacers, those would go before textures, i think), and finally all those text mods.
I think that is close to the load order that I know worked before i got my new PC. I didn't play much ME:A this year, yet.

So returned to Voeld to rescue Dr. Kennedy and the first MW child born in Andromeda and to do the Angaran Heskarl trials. I tried a different tactic for the three ancient Eiroch's which as a mistake, should have stuck with what worked previously. Didn't die but it was a close thing. Then went to H-047c, combat was a bit tough with the outlaws in their mining domes, I have no idea why but my shields are being stripped way faster than I remember (I didn't play that long ago) but maybe I only played on normal last time. It's like my Tech shields aren't working??? Anyway the flip side was The Remnant Tiller was a doddle as the stupid thing just sat there and didn't move. Did Vetra's LM which I find one of the least enjoyable. Was nice to Sid. Next the Archon's ship. I have 100% completion in exactly 1 of those playthroughs... and there is an uncompleted mission in that playthrough (that cannot actually be completed). I have at least 1 Ryder that has no active missions (I completed everything I came across), and it is stuck at 99%. So who the heck knows? Yeah it is definitely some sort of glitch, somewhere I cannot remember where the game told me on a 99% PT I had completed 100% but it still sits on 99%. melbella helped me a lot at one stage trying to figure out quests I had missed like scanning the food on Aya when you first get let into the city and the one on Elaaden where the Nomad breaks down and even the secret room on Khi Tasira but none of them triggered the extra 1%. There is one on Kadara witht the guy in the prison cell who thinks an Asari dancer is his girlfriend that I didn't know about because it disappears once you decide between Reyes and Sloane but even doing that in another PT didn't do it. Anyway it helped me get over my obsession of getting 100% complete in later games and now when I play MEA I am happy to skip those silly Random Generated quests all over the place.

Started a NG+ last night with a focus on combat abilities, particularly the skills that use power cells. No matter how many times I play Habitat 7, I always seem to get smoked by regular Chosen. I was using the M3 Predator most of the time, but still.
NG+ is so weird. I can have level 6 skills from the start, but can't change my armor, equip guns from my inventory, apply consumables are even collect mods because the inventory is beyond full. The NG+ needs better balancing IMO

As for Combat powers with power cells, I ran a power-cells build with Concussive Shot, Flak Cannon, and Frag Grenades. It was one of the more fun builds I have done. You could replace any one of those with mines if you are so inclined. You could probably make the portable barrier power (I forget the actual name) work I suppose, but it never fits my preferred playstyle. You could probably mix+match the power-cell powers into several profile setups, and since they do not have cooldowns you can switch between them without problem. There is an armor piece (Kett chest I think) that adds +1 power cell which can help.

Weirdly(?), I have never played NG+ in Mass Effect Andromeda, so I cannot comment on it. Although in regular new game I have gotten into the habit of making sure I do not carry a lot of items. NG+ is weird. For example, I finished the original game with an inventory of 169 of 200 items. NG+ transfers all 169 items, but defaults you to the original inventory level of 100. Which means you're walking around with an inventory count of 169 of 100. All weapon and mod loot is at your weapon level, for example, Vanquisher X or AR Barrel X - but you can't pick it up because "inventory is full" The only options are to start nuking your items to get well below 100 or waiting until you unlock the cryo pods

nannerb I have played NG+ multiple times and always just make sure in the base game I use for NG+ that I have sold or deconstructed anything I don't want or need. I am at a heart a player who hates carrying lots of stuff and so my inventory after any store visit is between 25 and 30 items which are basically weapon and armour mods and resources. So starting an NG+ game I don't have an inventory issue. I also only have 4 weapons fully modded that I have carried through, one AR (the Valkyrie), one Shotgun (The Hesh) one sub-machine gun (The Hurricane I think) and a Sniper Rifle (The Black Widow). Yes, it is a bit frustrating re not being able to change your armour or swap your weapons but the pistol you get and the Shotgun and AR you have access to when you reach Cora and the shuttle are more than adequate to get through those fights even on Insanity. I actually don't mind it as it makes it a bit more challenging. I have never done a full power cell skill build that I can think of but it sounds fun, I have become to set in my Sentinel ways Energy Drain, Incinerate and Overload. My soldier profile uses Flak Cannon with Adrenaline Rush and Tactical Cloak.

So yesterday was all about the love, Sara needed a new bed by the end of the day. Finished Truth and Trespass and sent whatever his name was to jail and then headed to what everyone thought was Meridian. Fought a heap of Kett and Remnant and The Archon's Sword. The damn fight glitched as I think Drack knocked The Sword over a balcony before they were dead so the final fight just would not finish. So did it all again and spammed Cobras, THE END. Then back to The Tempest to have some private time with Cora, PB and Vetra tried to cook Ryder a steak ..... it wasn't a successful attempt so theysettled for private time in Ryders cabin. Then back to The Nexus where Sara spent some private time with Keri at her apartment and with Suvi in the Science Lab. Then off to Aya where Avela's romance actually kicked back in so Sara and Avela shared some kissing time after discussing the discovery of The Angara's origin. Then Sara caught up with Jaal and he took her to a very private and beautiful spot on Aya and they experimented with inter-species relations. Part of that scene is really awkward. Liam was next in line for special time with Sara but that had to wait till today. it is a good one to finish on. Have been having some weird audio issues with the game this PT, yesterday even though PB was on the Tempest Ryder was driving and just said "I am driving PB"!!!! Had some dialogue between Cora and Drack that I hadn't heard before even after 22 previous PT's about a mission Cora did as a commando. Told Primus no deal after chasing his signal around Eos. Pic's The Archon's Sword was pretty ineffective I could take a thousand pictures on Khi Tasira Romance Pic's so spoilers for those that may not have experienced them

So another PT of MEA done and dusted and i enjoyed as mush as all the others if not a little bit more this time around due the nostalgia of it's 6th anniversary. I hate comparing games, I have played few I disliked entirely and nearly all have had some faults. MEA certainly at release was a mess graphically and with bugs but even my first PT I was drawn in by the wonder of exploring Andromeda, Heleus and the planets and maps all of which are beautiful. I love the combat but the number of encounters were too many and the random generated quests could be painful as well as some of the gameplay which got repetitive. The menu's continue to be a mess and I imagine for new players they are still as confusing as I found them that very first, second and probably third PT. The crew and other NPC's are for the most part I think great, most of the LM's are really good. The overall story I think is good, I would have liked them to introduce Scott into the game earlier either as a squad mate or in a few other quests as the protagonist rather than just have the game hijack you into playing him at the end. There so many questions that need answering and that interaction at the end of the game with the specialist re the Quarian Ark gets me every time in terms of "where is the DLC". So anyway to yesterday, returned to Khi Tasira, morphed into Scott saved Sara, got kidnapped by the Archon and headed to Meridian Actual. Game crashed for me 3 times at the entry into Meridian, once with Mods installed and then once with FMM still open, not sure if that was an issue even though I launched the game from the EA App. Then the fourth time I launched it from the .exe, file and with EA closed and the background Services shut down from the Task Manager. That worked and I noticed it did the whole drama of redoing the shaders etc. so I wonder if the EA App somehow remembers all that stuff from the MODS unless you close it down. Anyway the game worked, I got to the first auto-save and shut everything down and relaunched with the MODS installed. I love the end combat with all the banter from NPC's like Reyes, Evfra, Kalinda, the Krogan Scouts, the science team etc.. Not to mention the cinematics and combat and how pretty it all is. Took the Archon down after killing what seemed like a million Remnant and Kett at the start. I cheesed some of the Ascendant's and their orbs by throwing Cobras at them. If you time it and hit close to the orb when it is in front of them it wipes out the shield and does damage. Captain Dunn survived and I made The Moshae the Ambassador for the 23rd time. it was weird talking to each crew member except Drack and Gill as well as Reyes having romanced them all. Went back to Habitat 7 for the ceremony, visited Keri and Drack on The Nexus and called it a day. I have some planet quests to clean up, If I cannot decide what to start today I may do that as I wont have a lot of time. At this stage taking my 2nd recreated Warden (Noble, Human Rogue) from DAO to DA2 is the prime candidate. To all that read and liked my PT thanks, I know the game is old news now and I just wish the game had been better released and thus better received at launch. It for me really is a really fun and enjoyable game. Pic's Eos from the big rock bridge and Liam's romance mission Captain Dunn and Scott The battle for Meridian and Meridian The Archon, talks the talk but couldn't walk the walk Sara pic's, this maybe my new favourite Sara, my first Insanity run Sara was my favourite she was cute and fitted the Sara casual emotional role well. This Sara I thought was really beautiful but in a kind of understated way and suited the mostly casual/emotional and also logical mould really well.
