I think the reason given for BSN being closed was it was difficult to maintain and wasn't useful to developers who have taken to communicating with fans via other platforms? Deep down I suspect it's because the forum was overrun with (what we can now refer to as) alt-right trolls and it was reflecting poorly on their brand.

Ulfricking, pfft, I'm so over that I've moved on to Brynjolfing.

Though that's technically only in the fanfic for now (and that's almost done); I've just made another character, a dark elf punk boy (because well I'm me) and he's a bard (courtesy of the "Be a bard!" mod) and I have noooo idea who he's gonna marry.

How weird, I just started a new Skyrim game since Skyrim SE finally finished it's dl. Quit out of it to check if some of my favorite mods are compatible. I adore Farkas, it's usually either him or the mage you can get in Riften. (Marcurio? can't remember how to spell it.)

Two people I really want to marry: that shirtless orc in the Markath prison (yum) and Falk Firebeard. I dunno why. Except, ya know, sexy ginger bearded daddy

Ikr, I played it on xbox for over a year, then I got this PC... Skyrim was the first game I bought, AND THEN CAMETH THE MODS Can't play it vanilla anymore, same with DAI. Those male hairs *shudders* and the shitty armor selections *double shudder*

So came across further husbando material tonight...

Looks like Mark Darrah and MLaw have been retweeting this dude's cosplay stuff, hence the twitter thread. 

MDarrah has also been tweeting some mysterious pics of random Dragon Age stuff with a big question mark. The speculation on forthcoming DA news is afoot!

Unfortunately in the game I'm running currently this mod I've got that beautifies/sexifies some of the prominent NPCs... it gave Farkas really weird Fabio-style long hair. So... I'm not sure he's an option this go around

Nope. It's just a series of photos of DA stuff, each with a "?": Inquisitor helmet replica, Inquisitor sword replica, pic from the mural at BW headquarters of the Chantry stained glass windows about Andraste, a close up of some Grey Warden sword replica, and a chain mail banner of the Kirkwall heraldry. Oh and a solo black rook on E-6 of a chess board with a period instead of a question mark.































Folks were thinking that maybe a Dragon Age announcement of some kind is nigh.

I have only romanced one character in Skyrim- Erandur and that was via mod too since he's not one of options. There is tons of characters to marry around Skyrim, but somehow never got interested.

Erandur's an interesting fellow; I remember you telling me that, Panda, and I was a little surprised It's pretty cool how we're drawn to different types of characters! (Though dear Farkas seems to be the overwhelming favorite.)

Whelp here's my second gif attempt; I cut it down and "optimized" it (that's what the option was called, anyway) and so hopefully it's not so monstrous. I'll put it under a spoiler anyway just in case.



Yeah, agree with you, TEK, that we won't hear much about DA4 until MEA is out. I'm trying to stay excited about MEA even though they are really harshing my buzz with their stupid promises of HUGE WORLDS TO EXPLORE!!!! (same crap they said before DA4 and you see how well that worked) and saying that the game will be much more light-hearted than the ME trilogy. Part of what I love about the trilogy is the intensity and the emotion and the fast bonds you form with your closest companions. Hopefully MEA won't be a simplistic and light-hearted romp through endless alien deserts...
