The light heart comments seem to clash a bit with the situation humanity seems to encounter in Andromeda. I think it's just marketing speech.

I think they need to strike a better balance between exploration and story content. Even though the plot of Andromeda fits the exploration focus much better then Inquisition.
It seems we'll have real city-like hubs this time, so that's at least an improvement over DAI.

Man I hope you're right. Now I'll probably be a lot more forgiving of MEA than I was of DAI simply because I love science and space and science fiction, so wandering around an alien planet is inherently more interesting to me than wandering around a fantasy desert or forest. 

That one clip they showed with Peebee, Steve Ryder (sorry I literally can't remember his default name lol) and the mysterious male companion did seem rather delightfully fraught with tension.

Erandur's an interesting fellow; I remember you telling me that, Panda, and I was a little surprised It's pretty cool how we're drawn to different types of characters! (Though dear Farkas seems to be the overwhelming favorite.)

Yeah, agree with you, TEK, that we won't hear much about DA4 until MEA is out. I'm trying to stay excited about MEA even though they are really harshing my buzz with their stupid promises of HUGE WORLDS TO EXPLORE!!!! (same crap they said before DA4 and you see how well that worked) and saying that the game will be much more light-hearted than the ME trilogy. Part of what I love about the trilogy is the intensity and the emotion and the fast bonds you form with your closest companions. Hopefully MEA won't be a simplistic and light-hearted romp through endless alien deserts...

Unfortunately in the game I'm running currently this mod I've got that beautifies/sexifies some of the prominent NPCs... it gave Farkas really weird Fabio-style long hair. So... I'm not sure he's an option this go around

Totally agree; I also prefer them slender but not noodle-armed. Think Legolas in the movies. Orlando Bloom had/has the perfect body type for an elf. I really think all the actors cast to play elves in the two trilogies were perfect, with the possible exception of Haldir. He was a bit too bulky, though that may have been the armor.

Anyway, I use a mod that gives my elven male inquisitor broader shoulders and more muscular arms, yet he retains the naturally slender form. It's a great mod! (There are tons of body type options for each race. I used the broader shoulder version for my female dwarf, too. Could not handle the new delicate look of female dwarfs.
