Sara a better Pathfinder then Scott (slight spoilers)

Scott is into the exploration.

Sara is into the results of that exploration.

Not really.

Both work well in that position. The difference is, Sara was protecting prothean researchers, not researching herself (as far as the description goes, I haven't played the game), and Scott waiting to have a chance to do something that mattered. If what you do in this game is not adventuring, I don't know what it is. Even more so than science, since you're activating remnant tech without fully understanding that technology, kicking alien ass, finding lost arks, discovering the unknown.

However, how you feel about it all, should be up to you, not their backstory (which I still think was a mistake, because it might force some players to choose based on what they prefer to be  their "origins" instead of gender). If they indeed talk about what is more important to them without your input, then I'm disappointed again.

On the kett front, I think Scott works better as someone trained for combat and military security.

On the remnant front, Sara wins as an archaeologist. I'm enjoying my current play through with Sara using pb and jaal. Sara is experienced with prothean ruins and artifacts, pb has the most experience studying the remnant, and jaal is interested in the origins of his people and their ties to the remnant. Its an exo-archaeology trio.

Ah, but Sara and Scott are not Pathfinders at all. They are twins to the Helios Cluster champions, Vasco and Tishujen. They certainly helped in the battle against Archon, but not the Pathfinder material
