They have been fighting the Kett for a long time so if all their efforts are pretty much geared towards dealing with that, and trying to get their history back, so that makes sense. Yeah, Aya is a melting pot for sure with the Vasal (sp?) I wonder if Evfra will ever have to leave Aya? I suppose so since even the Governor said she'll eventually have to leave too. I was wondering about that! The Resistance has such a good setup there on Aya as the main base, I kind of feel like he'd be exempted - but I also feel that Evfra is not one of those characters who would give himself special treatment in that sense. It could be that he would just move to another Resistance base and make that the new HQ, like Voeld has a pretty good setup in that way, too. I don't know what Anjik would do, though. So, the Vesaal is totally a random selection as far as I understand it, so I think perhaps the HQ on Aya might remain sort of leaderless if Evfra left, unless someone like Anjik just happens to get the spot... I dunno, I've been puzzling over this for weeks.  Haha glad to know I'm not the only one that obsesses about such things.  Yeah, he'd not give himself special treatment - when he joined battle at the end, he donned regular armor like everyone else and got in the fray. Which only adds to his lustre.  To Beholderess' question, what would make Evfra smile? Hmmm.... A room full of dead Kett? Maybe Ryder should write some dead Kett jokes that she can share each time she visits him. Ahh, I so love when he shows up and says the Resistance is with me in that armor. beholderess - I think something epic like watching the last kett ship in angaran space crash and burn. I think he might have smiled watching the Archon shrivel up and die, but for some strange (terrible) reason he wasn't there!! It was such a perfect opportunity. Of course, I think Evfra wouldn't smile until victory was within his grasp, because as long as there are kett around, angara will die under his command and that's nothing to smile about. Unless you soften him up a bit. |
