Just adjust the budget. It's never been about the number of waves. It's the budget cap to end those waves. Cobras can be further diluted as well with nerfing their damage.

And Cobra-spamming waves 5, 7, 8, and 9.

The only thing that's needed is an increase to the amount of credits earned on Gold. Even something minor like a 10% bump would go a long way to alleviating the ridiculous grind introduced by character ranks.

oh so its not just me? suddenly psn just...basically stopped working last few weeks.  all games are virtually unplayable online now.

I have to agree to some extent. I can extract on gold with a rank 1 widow and do decently on the score board. And I have barely gotten to terms with the basic mechanics of the game.

In two weeks time the gear-up and knowledge of maps/enemies/mechanics should make gold trivial for anyone that plays regularly.

Cupid with a bow and arrow, obviously.
I'd suggest Sol with magic fireballs or Aphrodite with a scepter instead, but that's just me.  :rage:

Trust me, people. You just haven't played enough. Play a little bit more, and you will come to the same conclusion. Gold on Andromeda is a lot simpler than ME3. I also think it might be funner but it is a little too easy. Part of it is because the AI is a lot dumber in Andromeda. They will not follow you and will forget about you or walk (not run) right by you in front of you to chase a teammate 20 feet away. A lot of the teams I've join were using such incredible top guns as the Avenger and Katana. Yes, I usually use a Hurricane I, but it's mostly because I like the mechanics of that gun.

The secret is to always be moving. If an enemy is coming for you, just run away a little and it'll forget you. Then run back and kill it. Also, the bosses in this game are not really impressive. A Banshee, Praetorian, or Geth Prime would wipe these Kett and Remnants out. These new bosses are easy to escape and there is less chance of grabbing. No phantom stabbing. No constant missiles or tech and biotic elbows.

I have to admit I thought this was not true a day ago, as I only completed one gold and thought it was tough. But I just completed 15 matches of Gold with randoms and never did I once feel like we would not make it. It was not just one level either, it was random levels with different enemies. Think I might try a gold solo run next, but yeah platinum would be welcomed.
