Do you like Ryder as a character?

What are these things? 

I'm enjoying Scott. In fact I'll admit, with great reluctance, that he's a much more fun protagonist to play as compared to Shepard.

He's a dork and a wimp, but still he's somehow growing on me. Probably thanks to VA, Taylorson did his job well there.

No. It was jarring playing Ryder as a professional or logical character, who could actually be sensible and leader like, only for them to speak via auto-dialogue and sound like a complete twat, especially in the group meeting scenes. If there was going to be so much auto-dialogue, it would've been so much more palatable to me if they had gone with DAII's dominant tone approach, that way, Ryder could've actually sounded like the character I try to play them as.

It's a shame, seeing as how it improves auto-dialogue, another heavily criticized feature that's unfortunately overwhelming in this game, a lot.

I do, Ryder isnt a larger than life person, they are a person the same age as me more or less thrown into the hot seat and make it up as they go

Yeah I do, he kind of has a bit a Chris Pratt-ish sensibility, but what I AM hoping is that we can differentiate if Ryder are the main characters of the next games.

I like him a lot, actually. I pick the casual responses and he gives me hard Sarcastic Hawke vibes, which is always good. I hope we continue with Ryder and shuffle the squad/crew like in the previous trilogy just to keep things fresh.
