Like the Inquisitor, they're way too nice. Sometimes you just want to be an asshole,

I absolutely adore Ryder. I sincerely hope they make more than one game with him/her as the protagonist because I'm finding Ryder a lot more relatable and, frankly, fun than even my Shepard was.

The constantly sarcasm and jokes are a bit to much for me. That's ironic given your username lol.

I love my Sara! It's weird because before launch while I was viewing all the clip vids, it seemed like she would be a bit obnoxious and in the beginning of the game it felt like she was a bit all over the place but as the game goes on, I've really seen her grow into a leader. It's a nice progression.

IMO Ryder's characterization fits Andromeda's tone shift from epic space opera to a more space western, sprawling adventure story. While I would love a greater range of choices to "play evil," I think I've come to terms with the fact that BioWare is just...not good at "playing evil." The only one of their games where the "evil" ending felt as satisfying as the "good" one was Jade Empire, and that was, what, a decade ago? For the most part, having the PC be a bad guy or even just an asshole feels perfunctory to me. If I'm going to be a bad dude, I'm gonna do it in an Obsidian game now. BioWare does best with a more heroic protagonist. So I'm glad they played to their strengths. I love my space dork

Scott's great. It's refreshing to have someone greener and less stoic than Shepard. And he's a cutie to boot. I'm not sure what Bioware will do if they decide to do a sequel, considering the mixed response to this one. But I would prefer that they stick to one protagonist, because I think BW is starting to struggle with "Hero's Journey" kinds of stories. Yeah this. But I think people really just want change because of the weird humor throughout it. You can't make dark choices (Kaidan or Ashley) when the game is so jokey or light. The consequences if other choices that are in the game feel underplayed because they are just silly characters who get over it quickly. Everyone needs to get darker if they want to carry another trikogy.

I love how much sass I can insert into my Ryder. (Casual/Emotional run, practically never Professional.)
