I spent £70 on this game and no regrets. Last week I bought an evening dress for £100 which I will wear maximum maybe twice a year.
Which one am I going to have more use out of and more fun with? Mass Effect Andromeda.
It's Bioware, campaign is 100 hours, Multiplayer will be 100s more. Combat is arguably even better than it was in ME3 although balance is needed in MP. As for the wonky facial animations or whatever... It's Bioware. I'm already more than happy with my purchase. I'm not saying it's perfect but it's definitely my jam, I'm playing this for the next 5 years.

I think the problem is that people are just listening to each other's saying "don't buy it" and then they think it's automatically bad, they're missing out on an amazing game, I know I did... I thought the game was shit lol. I remember I even put the game in and I was like "I want my money back!!" lol but then I started playing and now I'm completely hooked, I can't even describe it. All those bad animations doesn't matter all of a sudden, sure it'd be nice if they were fixed but the game is so good that I don't really notice them.

Nope, since current MP are screwed up when it comes to silver/gold rank. Not to mention a melee that hit much harder compared to your non vanquisher gun make it even more tedious.

I'm completely hooked by the SP now. I was really disappointed at first in the beginning but honestly, right now, it's the best in the series imo, it gets better and better and I can't stop playing, no joke. They nailed it on almost every aspect for once, it's incredible. The mp is fun too but me3 was better for me on that regard, it's still fun though. Yeah,I like SP too,but sadly can't find time to play it. Grind is real. I hope you find time for it. I'm still on my first play through, I'm doing as much as I can so the game will last long, it's huge though I can tell, I've been playing day and night ever since it came out and it tells me I've only played 41% lol. Its funny how a video game can help though. I've been through shit these last two years and this game was exactly what I needed. I'm putting on my home clothes, sweatpants and tshirt and then I have snacks and coffee, my two puppies by my side and I place myself in my gaming chair, turn on my surround speakers, they are big tall speakers surrounding my chair lol and then I game all I want, without having to worry about anything. It's just "me time". I fucking needed that Oh and once in a while I jump into mp with friends when they send invites, it's pretty cool 😉

I'm finding it harder and harder to get good 'me time' from games. They just don't distract me from the harsh realities any more.
I did pick up W3 though, that should provide some relief.

All those bad animations doesn't matter all of a sudden, sure it'd be nice if they were fixed but the game is so good that I don't really notice them. I'm perfectly content with SP as well and understand it's worth it's price, specially if you're longing for a decent space opera you'll just take what you get and try to enjoy it, but I'm really starting to give up on the MP. It's not what ME3MP was, and the more I play MEAMP the more it makes me think how much better ME3MP was and wants me to go back. And we didn't even touch the small things like laughable voice acting in MEAMP (just try listening to the Salarian without cringing) compared to how much better characters sounded in ME3MP. These are just one of the many little things that add up on big pile of mediocrity and disappointment that I have with MEAMP so far. Maybe it's the reduction to 6 waves change, maybe it's the constant stuttering and bad performance, the removal of sticky cover, change in grind and character leveling, or the imbalances, I don't know, but at the moment the MP just doesn't seem nearly as finshed or polished as the SP, as crazy as this might sound, I know! But it's really how I feel about it.

Thanks, all! My children will eat, and my clothes are ready to ship. Just let me know if you want them washed or not (my clothes, not my kids). I've watched a lot of vids in the meantime, and I don't think there's enough reaper tech to indoctrinate me enough to purchase at full price. I'll stand by and look for fixes & whatnot. I have a buddy who actually does enjoy the game (he also really loved the trilogy). Still... just not feeling it.
Anyone want to ME3MP with me? I have to warn you that I'm naked though.

But it's really how I feel about it. I completely agree with you on this. The mp isn't nearly half as decent as me3 mp was, that's for sure. Part of the reason why I haven't really touched that part of the game yet. I'm sticking mostly to sp for now, which is a shame, cause I was really looking forward to playing the mp with friends.

For me the SP is okay but I'm not that far in yet but MP is where I'm happy to be though I mostly play with friends. I loved ME3MP had over 1400 hours in that, Warframe replaced it have over 3000 hours playing that but I need a break from it. Plus some of the more recent paths they went down broke a lot of the charm it had. With Andromeda the movement has more of Warframe fluidity (going back to ME3 makes me feel like my feet have glue soles) and while there are problems I find it fun. Treat Silver like Gold and Gold like Platinum and the issues of crappy weapons becomes less of an issue. There's a lot of room for growth and it's very early days yet and I'm here for the long run. I felt lucky to max my ME3 manifest at 800 hours and here I have only 15 hours so there's no rush. If I have to play Bronze and Silver while my gear gets better so what? Edit : I realise my opinion may not be worth much as I completely failed to die during the tutorial
