ME:A MP - Worth The Purchase?

Exactly. I think the problem is that people are just listening to each other's saying "don't buy it" and then they think it's automatically bad, they're missing out on an amazing game, I know I did... I thought the game was shit lol. I remember I even put the game in and I was like "I want my money back!!" lol but then I started playing and now I'm completely hooked, I can't even describe it. All those bad animations doesn't matter all of a sudden, sure it'd be nice if they were fixed but the game is so good that I don't really notice them.

I hope you find time for it. I'm still on my first play through, I'm doing as much as I can so the game will last long, it's huge though I can tell, I've been playing day and night ever since it came out and it tells me I've only played 41% lol.

Its funny how a video game can help though. I've been through shit these last two years and this game was exactly what I needed. I'm putting on my home clothes, sweatpants and tshirt and then I have snacks and coffee, my two puppies by my side and I place myself in my gaming chair, turn on my surround speakers, they are big tall speakers surrounding my chair lol and then I game all I want, without having to worry about anything. It's just "me time". I fucking needed that

Oh and once in a while I jump into mp with friends when they send invites, it's pretty cool 😉

I'm perfectly content with SP as well and understand it's worth it's price, specially if you're longing for a decent space opera you'll just take what you get and try to enjoy it, but I'm really starting to give up on the MP. It's not what ME3MP was, and the more I play MEAMP the more it makes me think how much better ME3MP was and wants me to go back. And we didn't even touch the small things like laughable voice acting in MEAMP (just try listening to the Salarian without cringing) compared to how much better characters sounded in ME3MP. These are just one of the many little things that add up on big pile of mediocrity and disappointment that I have with MEAMP so far.

Maybe it's the reduction to 6 waves change, maybe it's the constant stuttering and bad performance, the removal of sticky cover, change in grind and character leveling, or the imbalances, I don't know, but at the moment the MP just doesn't seem nearly as finshed or polished as the SP, as crazy as this might sound, I know! But it's really how I feel about it.

I completely agree with you on this. The mp isn't nearly half as decent as me3 mp was, that's for sure. Part of the reason why I haven't really touched that part of the game yet. I'm sticking mostly to sp for now, which is a shame, cause I was really looking forward to playing the mp with friends.
