Sadly MEAMP seems like one step forward and two steps back. The grind is even worst than ME3MP (you need characters to level X just to have all your skills points? WTF!?  ) and the weapons and especially the power combos are so much worse. I think I'll try it for a few more weeks then go back to ME3MP...if there are still people playing it that is. |

no itnent of leaving ME3MP here. it's still (and most likely will remain so) is head and shoulders over MEAMP contraption. No denying ME3MP population is dwindling and most likely will continue going that path, but for now there still seem a few people playing. even with my hours being at odds only an occasional game i have no company at all.

I might, for fun.
But it has taken me a while to get past hitting space to run ... jumping ... instead of shift. Plus ... I like the idea of new guns, new factions and (soonTM) new maps.
I love ME3MP, but I like the challenge of the new game ...
Maybe someday, when I've got everything I want from this game, I'll go back to ME3MP ... assuming the servers are still up ...
But for right now, I'm good with MEAMP.

I might, until they sort the utter mess that this game is currently. I'm starting to get tired of an AI that has only one mode (RUSH!!!), broken netcode, water guns, bugged shit, and shady microtransactions.
ME3 is at present much more polished, has more variety, and the gunplay is simply better. This game is shinier and has a z-axis. Whoop-de-fucking-do.
If not, plenty of games in my backlog anyway. But I doubt I'll waste much more time with this.
edit: the servers crashed, haha. Guess I'm going back to ME3MP right now.

No chance.
The UR grind in ME3MP is just as bad. When I quit, I had Valiant X, blood pack punisher 8, collector smg 8 but only harrier 1 and black widow 2.
Then I do 5 more platinum in a row and open up packs with nothing but ammo and consumables, literally make 0 progress in a few hours.
MEA will have the same problems of course.
At least this one is new, albeit maybe not that shiny. The impact of your actions is much more pronounced in ME3 though, which made it a lot more satisfying.

Why? So I can keep ROFLstompong on Gold with sub-optimal builds and top notch equipment? Or carry bad PUGs in Platinum with supreme DPS setups?
I'm liking the challenge with Andromeda so far. There's still lots to learn. I've done everything anybody could possibly do in Mass Effect 3. Twice.

Definitely not. Maxed my manifest, completed all the challenges I wanted to...I ran out of steam on ME3MP a long time ago.
MEAMP, though, is very entertaining and a challenge, at least for me. That and I have no problems whatsoever finding a game if I quick match. I'll stick this one out for a while.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate and say I actually like the character cards linked to skill points thing. In 3 all a character card got you was a new color or camo pattern. I'm actually pretty pumped when I get a char card now. It also means that youll have to decide: Do i want to play a maxed out common char or a slightly gimpy rare/UR char? Rare characters will actually be more......rare. How will you build your rare char with limited skill points? Which powers are absolutely essential? So many decisiiiooonnnnsssss! |

No game is perfect. I think my standards were so monumentally low coming off of DA:I DAMP that it wouldn't have taken much tbh. AMP isn't perfect....neither is ME3. I still really like it. They need to fix some things, and I think they will fix some things. I don't want to go back to ME3. I have played that game into the ground. AMP for me for a good while.
If they don't fix the connection and stability issues extremely soon they need to be called out for it. "Extensive testing" my ass. Then they have the terrible game decisions they made to fix.
