Anyone else having thoughts about going back to ME3MP?

Nope, the challenge in ME3 was gone years ago. I was the 2nd person to claim a max manifest on the old Bioware Social Forum years ago after they introduced the challenges (never doing that OCD grind again). I installed it again a few weeks before Andromeda to warm up with weak characters and weak guns and 1 or 2 level 1 consummables, and yup, muscle memory kicked in and it's still easy. I hate to say it, but I miss the day when we were struggling in ME3 mp. It was challenging back in the day.

It's very tempting, this mp is not quite up to snuff. To many things removed, bugs, lackluster stuff all around, etc.

I'm finding MEAMP to be completely unplayable; ME3MP is vastly superior.

I like my Andromeda Turian (the one I've unlocked), but to be quite frank Milky Way Turians are much cuter so I've still got to visit them on a regular basis

Almost every time I load up the game. It pains me to say it because, in my opinion, Andromeda's raw gameplay is much better, but it just feels like a chore to play. Shotguns and ARs are trash-tier, most pistols are as well although there are a couple exceptions, and sniping seems to be the only way to go. Normally I wouldn't mind, because sniping was so much fun in ME3, but it feels like the maps were not designed with sniper rifles in mind. Couple that in with how awful aiming feels on console (which is so unbearable to me that I've contemplated dedicating an entire thread to it), and the objectively best weapon class is borderline useless to me because of how sluggish, unresponsive, and imprecise aiming is on PS4 even with the sensitivity maxed. It boggles my mind how much of a step back camera control has taken compared to the PS3 version of ME3, where you couldn't even move your camera while sprinting.

Uncommon weapon mods may as well be Ultra-Rares, I've maxed almost all my Uncommon characters and am at rank five or higher with all my Uncommon weapons, and I have yet to unlock any of them. To top it all off, all the barrel mods are Rare. This is a major contributing factor to how pathetic all the weapons feel, most of which take an entire magazine to kill a basic mook on Gold.

I would not purchase this game again, knowing what I know now. And that really hurts, because ME3MP is still my favorite co-op experience in ~10 years of online gaming, and I was expecting more of the same. I honestly cannot believe that the same people who made that produced this heap of garbage. The game hasn't even been out for a week, though, so I'm going to give them time to start rolling out patches and re-evaluate in a few weeks before I uninstall. At this rate, though, I will not be buying any more Bioware products.

I went back after the pre-release, or whatever it was called. I wanted to play with the Javelin one last time.. but the chunky movement really put me off. I much prefer the speed and agility of AMP.. even if the guns aren't super badass like ME3. Also.. off host vanguarding is the bee's knees.

Not true. I was playing with one of my friends earlier tonight, who doesn't even have all the uncommon weapons unlocked (let alone maxed), and he got two upgrades for a Pistol Receiver. I guess our luck is just phenomenally bad.

I have been tempted to get back to ME3. I've put in 600 hours, which I know is significantly lower than some, but that might be the most time I've ever spent with a game, other than maybe an Elder Scrolls game. I still don't have a CSMG, so I have that to work toward.
