I know man.  That's what it seems at the moment.  It's not people using an effective class well (as someone else mentioned above).  I get that during the grind.

It seems it's a bunch of squeakers just finding the one class that works for them and rinse/repeat EVERY MATCH.

Then after that gets boring in 2-3 months time (like you said), they move on to another game.

My current entertainment is bringing a fully unlocked level 6-10 common character into gold matches.

Lots of skepticism, but surprisingly only one kick so far. The 5,000 Apex rating probably helps. Had several friend requests and questions after I wind up soloing waves 5 and 6.

Spend the credits you're using to try an unlock one or two ultra-rare weapons and you can unlock all the common character skills and farm gold to unlock all the rest and have some variety in your play style. Well, as long as you like to melee. Jug sheilds make almost every character into a melee character and it does so much more damage than most of the weapons do.

May be propose to BW a checkbox a host can toggle to enforce minimum character point requirements. Similarly, when you join games you can also decide whether to join games that have this enforcement.
