I mean who thought it was a good idea to show a flying anematiin between EVERYTHING? There can't be that many loading screens needed just to jump to another planet on the damn map. I mean I really like this game but this one part is so horrible...
Ok just had to vent. Thanks for reading.

I've found myself to smoke a bit more weed because of these animations It was fun the first few times. Really gives the impression of flying through an actual galaxy/cluster. But it gets stale fast.

I don't mind it, its not like every single seconds counts in games like these. Take your time and enjoy the space scenery, don't rush so hard.

I think it's soothing and beautiful but yeah, it would probably have benefitted from a skip button if possible for those that feel otherwise.

I quite enjoy them myself, though they could speed them up slightly, the pause at the very end of when you reach your destination is a bit annoying.

I'm trying to tell myself it's actually awesome because of the beautiful views, but truth is after so many repetitions I don't care about the views anymore. It takes so much time...

I wish I could skip the process of selecting ship, system and planet when I already know where I want to land. I skipped Peebee's quest because of this.

I don't mind it so much on a first playthrough, but the problem is that it will discourage subsequent playthroughs. Let's be honest though, there was a hell of a lot of this in the MET. One time I wanted to rush through ME3 to try to acquire a particular bonus power, and I was amazed by how many unskippable cutscenes there were - the combat was the fastest part. Bioware have always been like this, and there's no evidence they're going to do anything about it.
I just wish they'd been more imaginative in providing things to do when you arrive at a planet (without reverting to ME2 mining, of course). Every planet ought to have something to do, whether it's just building a mining station, or maybe sending down a strike team, and so on. And the bonuses for visiting planets ought to be better.

I like it, but I would like more if there were some performance improvements in some solar systems where the fps drop considerably for no aparent reason.

Its a bit annoying but when you start dealing with it you'll spent your interstellar travel time wisely, go to the toilet, get food or similar. I often start cleaning my peripherals when I'm exploring the galaxy. Unfortunately I don't have weed, only crabs...

I really like it. I love all the hidden loading screens, they keep me immersed in the game. And the galaxy map is so beautiful. I was watching solar flares in one system on the background of the planet I was scanning. Amazing attention to detail. It's kind of a huge part of the whole explore space for me - enjoying the view!

What is the issue exactly? Removing it just puts in another loading screen regardless. Was watching the relays 3 games in a row reallly any better? At least this one has a scenery.

It looks gorgeous, some of the systems later on are even more spectacular... But yes, its just too much by the end of the game, I actually had the YouTubes open on my second monitor and alt tabbed out whilst i did some of the scanning just because OMG THE TEDIUM! Looks aren't everything apparently, who knew.

Yes, the OT had those scenes every time you left a system, but they didn't have it every time you went from one planet to another in the same system. For some folks, I'd imagine that they sometimes just want to check out each planet in a system real quick to check for resources before going back to whatever quest they were on, but those traveling scenes take up time and it gets old really fast for some people. Ideally, what Bioware should have done was either make these scenes skippable or put in an option that disables them.

At least the galaxy map doesn't fly up and out the game, or crabwalk like someone who's just had an enormous dump.

I was under the impression people wanted the thing removed entirely, not just removing it traveling plant to planet like the originals did.

If you want to go directly to a planet, you shouldn't have to go through a minimum of 4 steps and loading screens to get there. You should be able to be on a planet, select the planet you want to go to with a minimum of one loading screen.

I suspect the reason for the longer load times is to do with the game loading the environment around the tempest for each planet. You know, when you look out the window and see space.
I think it's a really good feature, so if that's the price I have to pay so be it.
