This. I'm done with my Insanity run so there isn't much incentive to play through the game again. Won't touch SP until DLC.

*Cough* Just like your post did eh m8? You even supplied pics to emphasize how cool you are too. It's obviously turned you into a narcissist, so maybe your kinda right I was going to point out the rich irony there. Glad I didn't have to. I wonder if he notices. I think he was too eager to respond and forgot the golden rule, don't post when your angry, wait a mo. I too have " been a gamer longer than most of you have known what a PC is" so it's obvious I must know what I'm talking about no?

Loudmouths do not a majority make. The PC gamer half of this meme is so true. And I have no doubt that the vast majority of complainers are PC gamers. And before you even say it...I play on PC. But do feel free to think a few whiners are representative of anything. I'm sorry it bruises your little ego that people have caught onto you enough to know that no matter what you guys would have found some complaint to latch onto and bitch about. I've been a gamer longer than most of you have known what a PC is and I've seen "gamers" evolve into a narcissistic lot who try endlessly to show how cool they are by saying how much EVERYTHING sucks...games...movies...tv shows....absolutely everything sucks. I mean it has to if it doesn't measure up to your standards, right? I'll also tell you right now, you better grab a tampax for announcement day, they aren't going to redo the animations. At best you might get a few tweaks in the worst cases. Wow, kind of lost your shit, haven't you? I don't really care how long you've been a gamer. I work in the industry - don't see me championing that, because it's just as irrelevant. If you want to believe that it's somehow the minority, that's cool. If I was a fanboy like you who had a hard time accepting valid criticism of my favorite game, I'd be a bit nutty like you too. But that valid criticism is everywhere - whether it's here, on reddit, twitter, facebook, or on metacritic, or YouTube, etc. It's widespread and constant. So there's definitely something to it. Go look at the replies of the tweet too. And also, try reading up bud - I'm pretty sure you know where you can stick that tampon, seeing as I've said here multiple times that there's no way they are going to patch an entire facial fix. EDIT - Good thing my primary platform isn't a PC. ahh the old "I work in the industry" line. Haven't heard that one in almost a week.

Just like someone has to win the lottery? I would have thought that with all your vaunted knowledge on gaming, you would have realized that some people on forums do actually do what they say the do. We will never really know so we cannot say they're lying or not but I'm sure some are telling the truth.

It's also not lost on me how vague and generic that phrase is...most of the ones who "work in the industry" actually work or contribute to some third rate gaming site and they think that makes them an industry insider. Here is a clue, people who are actually devs will very rarely throw stones at the work of another. It's a relatively small community with exceptionally high turnover, burning bridges is not wise.

You are really having a hard time with this whole "reading" thing, aren't you? The point I was making is that where I work is equally as irrelevant as how long you've been a gamer. In simple English? It. doesn't. matter. lol.

Nope, closest I've been to working in it was... 1) I used to work on the volunteer to team to write Prima Strategy Guides for MMOs, I worked on SWG, DAoC, and some others I forget. 2) I was a volunteer Sentinel in the MS MMO Asheron's Call back in the day. I talked to the devs on that one a few times, but not about anything special...on one small note I did talk to Chris L'Etoile (Stormwaltz) a couple of times who would much later go to work at Bioware and work on Mass Effect. Before you say it, it was very casual and years ago. No, what I know I know from reading various forums on many varying topics related to gaming.

The places where facial animations count, the loyalty missions and cinematics, and which were customized by hand all look fine. It's only the ones in the world handled by an algorithm that look spotty. You are blowing this way out of proportion if you're not playing the entire game for hopes of a patch months away

Err, so that would be a yes, you have worked in the industry. So why should I believe you and not him? See, works both ways. If as you've said devs don't come to forums, how have you learnt this from various forums? I'm definitely starting to believe you are right, gamers are becoming narcissistic.

Simply improving the facial animations themselves will not make it look better than ME1. There's camera framing lameness and bad preset poses and plenty of dialogues that don't even use cinematics like in DA:I. I've just accepted that Nu-BioWare is lame-BioWare.
Their new IP will probably trigger a lot of rolling eyes or lack of interest.

Nah, I'm not waiting on my current playthrough. I might wait a little before doing future NG+ runs and stick to MP for a bit though.
Honestly, in spite of all the game's faults I'm quite enjoying it.
