What do you think guys? I know i hate those. I am totaly fine with 1 shots but not with not having an option to get up again for the whole round, especially since it is mostly a one faction thing. P.S. Lag and glitched sync kills aint helping either! Well looks like the majority is fine with Sync kills, i guess i can live with that as well if there wont be any lag + glitching involved.

Got sync killed for the first time at the start of wave 6 yesterday. The new Banshee just creeped on me while I was protecting my teammate doing the device, never knew the thing was coming for me. I felt really dumb and sorry for my team. Haven't seen a sync in MEA before.

On the contrary, they should put sync-kills on every mob and then introduce an Asari character based on Peebee model that would be invulnerable to sync kills.

No. But they should fix the bugs and glitches and add a short delay between teleport/rush and the grab. Sync kills as punishment for bad play is ok, but right now you get random grabs from across half the map and that is NOT ok.

1. YES, absolutely - IF they remain in the fucked up state they are now 2. NO - IF they at least mostly (aka +90%) work correctly and are a punishment for dancing and wiggling that bumbum too close to a potential sync-killer

I always hated the feature - it's annoying af, if even a little lag is present. Instead, they should have made a minigame out of sync kills, that triggers a random sequence of buttons you have to mash, i.e. the dog grabs, just more complex. If you handle it, you break free/survive with a penalty (ie. engineer/soldier overloads his shield to survive, and cannot regen shields for the next 8 sec), if not, you die.

My only issue with sync kills at this point is regarding Fiends. They have this absurd ability to sneak up on me (NO IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY AWARENESS WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME) In all seriousness, Ascendant sync kills are annoying but instantly recognizable and avoidable as long as you're quick. But fiends.. I swear they pull a Michael Jordan from space jam and sync kill me when I'm no where near them. Another reason Kett are just.. I mean why farm credits in gold against anything but remnant or outlaw. I hate Kett

Removing the Sync kills from multiplayer would be like just running Geth in ME3. After a while it would be pretty lame and boring. That terror of seeing a phantom next to you or getting cocky with an Atlas and the punishment that goes with. Plus the art of knowing how to melee kill a phantom without getting skewered - That's part of what's awesome about ME3!
The problem is the arbitrary nature, from what I've seen, of the Kett synch kills. Ascendants are like Banshees on Meth. They just teleport through everything from 100 meters away and you're synched. At least with a Banshee you heard the scream and there was time to react. Fiend are even worse - their reach is ridiculous, and quite random as well. I agree they need fixing. Right now they appear to punish skilled and unskilled players equally. I actually think there should be some sync kills for the other races - Remnant and Outlaw. Though with Outlaw, if you ever get caught in a pack of Ahdis (Fish-Dogs), you get bite-locked over and over. That's kind of like a slow synch-kill in a way...

What they should do is:
1- FIX THE GODDAMN GO GO GADGET ARMS OF THE GOD DAMN MOTHER FUCKING FIEND FUCK. SHIT.
2- Fix the 3 second delay for getting off a Device while the Ascendant is telegraphing his sync kill at you and it won't let you fucking move.

I was on the roof on that firebase map and a fiend inside the building grabbed me through the roof. Seems problematic.

No they should not remove them BUT they should not allow them to happen against tank kits that are built around close fighting and Melee. That makes the enemy too powerful when you cant even attack it or you will be killed. Its just wrong.

No, I don't think they should remove them. Having sync kills keeps players on their toes. But I think they should remove one sync kill from Kett faction - maybe making the Fiend's grab similar to the Hydra's?

Hydras do have a sync kill; if it swings horizontally than it's a melee. If it extends its right arm into a bludgeon and swing vertically downward and hits you it will initiation a sync kill; once hit it will then lift you up with its cannon and smash you down with its right arm(in its normal form). Enemies with a sync kill(Hydra, Fiend, Ascendant) do telegraph the ability(unless lag is present). I remember playing an Apex mission against Remnant with the glass jaw modifier(+1000% enemy melee damage) on firebase sandstorm while on silver difficulty. I was taking cover in the lower left room to avoid observer lasers, then I tried to exit the room through the backdoor only to have a Destroyer block the doorway entirely and immediately use its death field thus dropping me in a second. At the time I was playing a human Soldier with 750 health and about 380 shields, then the field brought that to zero.

Its not a a sync kill because you can be revived or use medigel after the event has happened. Also they are survivable if you are tanky and have enough dr.

Game needs more sync kills. All factions should have sync kills and they should be legitimate threats. I can stand in front of a hydra with an Asari Adept, Nova or Avenger and just repeatedly smash triangle on gold on psn and melee them to death. Occasionally, the hydra will slam you if you screw up but you gel then melee it to death....
Outlaw and Remnant are actually a little stale in that they are easy to handle...the Kett are fun in that you always know that one mistake can cause an entire game to go downhill fast on gold...

What they do need to remove is the ridiculous lag and fiend infiltrators.
