I'd say PetPal is far more useful than leaching source off Animals. Just steal source from dead bodies and spirits.
Chicken Claw + Ruptured Tendons + Shackles of Pain gets less useful when the enemy has more health.

I'm ready to leave Reaper's Coast but I'm trying to clean up the side quests. I think Mommie Dearest cannot be finished; I suspect it's one of the Paladins who give the quest died. I got this quest by its ass than its head.
I killed Ryker and told the lizard that wanders the graveyard. The quest log just say you told her but didn't indicate it's close. Not sure what am I suppose to do next. I suppose I'll go over there and look around again.

The quest to kill Ryker doesn't even close when you leave Reaper's Coast (maybe now, after the latest patch, Idk). I didn't find anything related to this quest later on either, so I think it's just a bug.

Mommie Dearest cannot be finished Oh shoot, she's a quest? I wondered at the weird name when I was fighting her.

Mommie Dearest cannot be finished Oh shoot, she's a quest? I wondered at the weird name when I was fighting her. Yes, she is. I think I did the same thing. Fought her first. Later, a paladin ghost will tell you there's a price for her head from the paladins. Since I've already killed her, I should be able to finish this. The problem is, I'm playing Sebille. I had her eat the body pieces she picked up so I guess maybe she ate the head, that's why the paladin dialogues never said anything about her. That or the paladin NPC quest giver died. I'm now on Nameless Islet. I'm not sure if I'll be able to proceed smoothly; the fights are getting harder.

Btw, I remember someone saying about getting a whirlwind spell because it removes fires or something. I also remember seeing a bit of gameplay of the Nameless Islet and the streamer was using that spell to put out the lava fires. I've yet to come across this skill. Will it appear before the final event on the islet?

IT cleared away burning effects, poison clouds, and most other hazards on the ground at the time.

The Tornado skillbook isn't available until pretty late in the game, I don't know how someone would've gotten it that early without the use of mods.

He doesn't use mods so he definitely got that skill fairly. The thing is, I don't know how. I dropped into his stream midway of his game play. I didn't think to ask since I was still checking out the game then.

CohhCarnage. He plays a lot of games and he's not one for mods. His approaches to games is practical, tactical and thorough, most of the time finishing with near 100% coverage of everything the game has to offer. If it's RPG games, he explores, loot and takes up every quest. Everything he can find. He's streaming now, playing Shadow of Mordor, if you don't know who he is. You can take a look. He said he's not going to be buying any loot boxes. He's adamant he's not going to do any micro-transactions. He's not the only one, other streamers said they're not going to do any such thing either. They will play the game and see how it progresses.

Found his youtube, but I'm still going to call bullshit on it being tornado until I see it. I just remembered he always uploaded his PTs to YT so I went to look for it. Here it is, jump to 16 mins and watch from there. I'm not going to sift through his videos and find out how he got the skill but I got snippets here and there about his rogue doing 1000 over dmg, Nameless Isle. Wow, my rogue doesn't even do that. None of the others are at that level. At present, the highest dmg infliction is 400 ++. So what's the difference? Is it the difficulty he's playing on? He's on tactician, I'm not. The combat in DOS is ok but I'm not really into it; I'm more of the hands on thing (akin to Unreal Tournament '99, Dark Souls, DAI). My game is set to easy since I want the story, not spend too much time fighting. Is it his style of play? He makes sure to get everything, especially in RPGs. I don't. I don't go fully 100%. I noticed that when he was on the NI, the level of his party was higher than mine at the moment. By two to three levels. Does that make a big difference? No idea but I think it does.

Nope, he doesn't have it. I'm about to enter the lunar temple. Hope it's not a vital skill. * I couldn't keep all the companions and I was pissed because the ones who left threw their stuff onto Sebille, overloading her. That can't be it, I thought so I went to look for solutions and found it. Arrived in Arx. The interlude onboard the ship is weird; hearing a narrator reading out what happened. I don't listen to audio book stories so I was going ... ... and then the choices ... erm, ok. Also, quest log says I failed to help Alexander. In what? I've no idea; I did what he asked, kicked off the undead elf. Am I suppose to do more? I whacked him btw, in the fight. Log also says I didn't finish Arena Master's quest, not sure I understand that one. I thought it said to get to target first. *shrug*

As for tornado, I'm about 99% certain there is a vendor in the next area who sells it. It'll be more important there than the nameless isle.

Also ran into the first cursed revenant. I was put out when it kept getting its hp up, especially when Fane attacked it. I threw bless on it and the necrofire. It didn't seem to hurt it much. I went to look it up and realise it likes necrofire. It was standing in it all the time so unless it's finished off in two consecutive blows when its hp is low, it'll just pop back up. Of course Ifan phoenix diving near its vicinity just fan the necrofire back into life. .. oh, tornado will remove necrofire. Must try it out.

Yeah, there's three of those cursed revenents in the consulate and they'll respawn if there's even a pixel of necrofire anywhere. I gave up on that part but the best courses of action are spend way too long using tornado to clean it all up or make the fire span across all of the building then bless and remove.

On the lizard consulate, I used the tornado to kill the necro because it's very annoying to have those accursed popping back again and again. I didn't want to bypass it because I wanted to stamp them out. Took the dream portal and finally met the red princess. Since I didn't have the red prince with me, everyone was hostile. Ran into the same problem with the accursed after killing princess and her attendant so I just have Lohse run to the exit portal (she was the nearest to it) and took everyone with her. Freck the loot. I think I'm heading into the final leg. Got seriously annoyed in the fight with the Paladin Kemm and his minions. They really 'like' Fane and kept dumping everything on him, taking his source, heals, you name it. It's all there. He died of course. After the fight was done and he's resurrected, I had him vampire eat the body of the mob that kept sinking his teeth into him. Too bad the mob's soul isn't around else I'll have Fane take that too. I've to settle Lohse's quest which I stopped at just now. I hope she makes it. Talked with Ifan and he was lovey dovey. I'm not expecting the protag to have a rosy ride off into the sunset ending with romanced lover but the mushy writing is appreciated.

I just realised the NPCs' have an uncanny ability to know everything. The party was in the sewers, finishing up the prisoners quest. I couldn't find Queen Justinia after the capture. Did a search and read that this quest is glitched. ok. So I opened up the chest, found a ring and threw it back. It's labeled as stolen goods and I didn't want it. When party popped back into city square, their rep went down and got a reprimand from every NPC there. That got me puzzled. All the party did was port over to that location, they didn't steal anything in that location. So that down rep scolding has to be for the ring, down in the sewers. That is the most stupid thing I've seen in a game. The NPCs are omniscience. Why even try to be a Divine when everyone knows and sees what's going on?

Ok, officially not going to be able to finish DOS 2. The last fight is a stupid fruitcake. The party hardly have any chance to attack ably, turn after turn went to the mob as they cast all sort of s**** that disable the party's ability to fight. I'm on the defensive all the time, not offensive; removing this, removing that. Instead of fighting Rex, Dallis threw in a lot of aoes on the party. The entire arena is full of cursed stuff, etc. I consider it cheating too since the mobs could move to higher decks easily. This is why I'm not fond of turn base PRGs. So this is my PT end of DOS 2. I'll watch YT for the endings. I can guess what it is; become divine or whatever. P.S. Watched the endings. Not bad.
