I'm hoping we'll eventually be able to skip this with a mod or show it as completed via the Gibbed Editor. A lot of wasted time doing stupid scans for a poorly executed concept. Something that should have been confined to the Nexus, not a star system; the odds of where she ends up is ridiculous... She had a better chance of flying into one of the suns or gas planets.

FTL that's faster than the Tempest? Or, even fast enough to go to multiple systems in minutes? Arrrrgh that was so annoying. Exactly, I was thinking to myself "I wish I had her shuttle instead of the Tempest!" This whole mission had me feeling like I was chasing a sick Sheldon Cooper in the ball pit and getting Bazinga'd

I ended up not finishing that mission. Game kept freezing when I arrived at the first system you follow her to. Like 90% of the side quests in the game, just not worth doing.

Eh, it didn't bother me too much. Yes, the Tempest is faster than a Kodiak (I believe) but at the various points you do need to kinda stop and "pick up the trail" so to speak. In a straight tail chase, it wouldn't take too long for the Tempest to catch up, but you're not in a straight tail chase. You're having to stop (however briefly) to figure out where the Kodiak is going next.
It's a bit more "back and forth" on the Nexus, then a bit too much flying between systems than I'd like, but it didn't take that long to complete. And it led to a pretty decent decision point for Ryder, so I'll take it.
I really, and I mean REALLY, like ME:A. I'm not gonna say it's perfect by any means, and there are quite a few things I'd like to see "tightened up" in any sequel, this type of thing being one of those for sure. But it certainly wasn't the worst thing in gaming, not by a long shot.

That mission annoyed me because, how, exactly, did a very sick person manage to get through security, and navigate her way through 5 systems ahead of the Tempest in a SHUTTLE? She was like Han fucking Solo on a Kessel run. I'm not even sure we got to confront the moron who brought her to Andromeda in the first place. When that Roekaar moron took her hostage I regret there wasn't an action button to laugh. They need to better understand leverage.
She wasn't leaving this planet alive after making me chase her through gods know how many systems and her very existence threatens all Milky Way life in the galaxy.

You can drive there. Is there an issue with following the map marker on the screen? Assuming you're on Console, the stick press is so handy. There are areas of mountain blocked out by the blue wall. Not on the edge of the map either, if you try and cross those mountains it resets you back. It would cut Kadara missions travel times in half if you could just go over them.

Contagion is probably the worst bait and switch "seems important" side mission. Not as bad as 'Little things that matter', but must be the second one in line, yeah. I normally go all 'paragon' and play white knights even where I shouldn't, but not when the safety of the entire cluster is at stake. I did not have to think twice picking the 'evil' answer. Wish I had an option to 'exile' this nephew of hers out of the Nexus' airlock too. The 'good' final makes no fucking sence. It's plain stupid even by the ME standarts. The 'evil' one gives some closure and sense of justice (at the very least). Shame we don't have a 'bad' outcome for the 'Little things...' - it needs this badly.

She wasn't leaving this planet alive after making me chase her through gods know how many systems and her very existence threatens all Milky Way life in the galaxy. So effing true! After I was done with them I wanted to go find her nephew. I think people who are OK with this mission forget how much of a pointless time sink it is: 1. Talk to Dunn. 2. Loading screen while you go to Cryo 3. Talk to Harry 4. Loading screen while you go to Docking 5. Talk to Immigration 6. Walk around with the scanner unassisted by homing beacon 7. Talk to someone in Vortex 8. Loading Screen while you go to operations 9. Talk to someone in operations 10. Loading screen while you return to Docking 11. Talk to dock mechanic 12. Loading Screen while you go to Tempest 13. Loading screen to travel to first system 14. Probe and find trail 15. Repeat 13-14 four times 16. Loading screen to Govarkam system 17. Loading screen to Kadara Port 18. Loading screen to Slums. 19. Loading screen to nearest fast travel (near the outpost) 20. Travel by Nomad to the very edge of the map. 21. Get out, hit datapad 22. Scan footsteps 23. Get back into Nomad, go to next point 24. Get out scan foot steps 25. Travel to final location 26. Final encounter. What was the point of making this so long? Also, in MET one was able to delete or substitute those *.bik files to get rid of all loading screens, and it was light on those travel animations. If your PC was not from the dark ages loading would take a few seconds. At this point in the release someoneone would have already mentioned a config option or list of files to rename/delete. I hate frostbite! Sorry about the tanget!

Riiight, because that's what we normally do with deadly contagious people and criminals who endanger the entire galaxy cluster - pat them on the back, kiss them goodnight and spend infinite power&resources to keep them alive.

Can we talk for a minute about Ruth's face? Who designed her face? She looks like she's in the early stages of ghoul. Who gave her that nose and thought, This is what human faces look like, a perfectly normal human face.

I kept wishing she would explode the shuttle on something or a space monster would kindly swallow her up. One of the most irritating MEA mission.

FTL that's faster than the Tempest? Or, even fast enough to go to multiple systems in minutes? Arrrrgh that was so annoying. It doesn't really matter if it's faster than the Tempest. As soon as the shuttle is in FTL, it cannot be tracked anymore and the Tempest would need to pick up the ion trail again (basically almost from scratch), giving the shuttle more than enough time to move somewhere else. Ironically, this here: This whole mission had me feeling like I was chasing a sick Sheldon Cooper in the ball pit and getting Bazinga'd might describe it perfectly.

Contagion is probably the worst bait and switch "seems important" side mission. It wouldn't have as bad if it hadn't chased you through six systems before getting to the point. Load screen after load screen after load screen. Scan after scan, after scan. I wonder how long it would have been before the patch that allows for at least shortening the approaches. The worst bait and switch in my opinion is the Garson murder on the Nexus. To not being resolved in the end.

There this phase in the mid-game where every single side mission takes you to Kadara, from three sabers to satellite thieves to spender and so on. At some point there needs to be an action prompt for Ryder to interject and say "F*** this, lets go to Kadara. We can always come back to this lead if it doesn't check out'.

it's simpl just follow the quest and shuttle as much as you can, explore the systems if you dont have a clu,e just do other side quests or tasks, you will find the right system doing other missions
if suvi says there is an anomaly always scan the system

This quest wasn't nearly as annoying when I didn't do it all at once. I basically just did what I could wherever I happened to be, then finished it up right before the final mission. But yeah, definitely very annoying the first go-round when you don't know how much longer it's going to last.

Even more so when I already know, this is going to be a chore. I draw the line at remnant vaults though. There's a bit too much annoyance for my tastes and so I have the solution to the endless puzzles on my second screen before I start destroying stuff in frustration.

I can't risk taking her on Nexus when she might infect everyone. And I try not to think how stupid shuttle thing was. I don't know who wrote it. It's ridiculous.

In another room of the building there is a cryo pod. Ryder makes a comment when you scan it.
