Gotta go with Engineer, I always choose tech classes.

I liked being biotic god in ME1, but since ME2 Adept became just a Warp combo spammer, so now it's Vanguard all the way.
Nobody else can punch a krogan on the other side of the map and then fly away to next one.

Probably Soldier or Engineer.

No matter how much I want to I just can't quit Vanguard.

To answer the general thread question, I voted Sentinel.

What's interesting is that I started the ME series with the Soldier. Just went with something that seemed simple and straightforward, especially since I had no clue what any of those pesky "powers" were.

But thanks to ME3 MP, I got to experience ALL of the classes in a way that wasn't an entire SP playthrough commitment. A bit like doing a trial run with them, you know? A 20 minute time commitment seemed like an acceptable test drive and, through it, I discovered that I wanted to try a full SP playthrough using a Vanguard... and I also fell in love with the Sentinel.

Specifically, the Turian Sentinel.

I adore Sentinels for their versatility and survivability - a true jack of all trades, master of none.

I'm fine not being the loud, shiny one... or the one doing the most DPS... or the one sniping from the shadows. What I really like is to be in the thick of things: providing a distraction for my team (tech armor helps to fulfill a tank role, if we're speaking in MMO terms); being able to help debuff the enemy (such as Overload to strip shields) so my more DPS-y teammates have an easier time; and being able to help buff my teammates or set them up for greater things (such as using Warp to either prime a biotic explosion for someone else to trigger or using it to trigger a biotic explosion that someone else set up).

All of that is the reason why I still adore playing my Turian Sentinel after 4+ years.

Like Daft said, I like playing Battlemage characters, so a Vanguard fits that bill nicely.

I'm going to charge head first into whatever, as usual, and hope the Ark has very good showers. Repeatedly ramming into Banshees crotches has taught my vanguards the value of good hygiene.
