I find it distracting when playing, I think it ruins the game if I play sp and if I play mp, then I'm too busy chatting in the mic  One of the reasons I used to avoid chatting to people during multiplayer matches was because I preferred to listen to music instead of their voice while I'm playing! And I never knew how to break it to them so I'd just suffer in silence haha. I would always be so relieved when they'd let me go haha. Good times. |

And this is exactly why I always have to create a party and divert audio to party. That's always the first order of business before I even launch the multiplayer. If i forget to do it, then I'll regret it because I'll be exposed to all sorts of horrible noise from pugs haha. I'm thinking of blocking all incoming messages and friend requests too, to shelter myself from the cancerous console community. They're so horrible and uncivilised. |

Always, otherwise I may die of boredom eventually.
Did it for ME3MP with music so loud I couldn't hear myself screaming at the screen when a fucking phantom lol-stab me in the most bullshit fashion you could possibly think of.
Besides, the right music makes you do pretty cool stuff in the game, is kinda weird. Like a positive reinforcement of sorts.
