Does anyone listen to music while playing MEAMP?

I rarely do, but when I do, it's usually a soundtrack from another game or movie (I find lyrics distracting), such as

All the time. I never play without music, just can't do it. With the long hours that I play, I have to have it. In fact, the very first thing I did before I even launched the multiplayer was cue up my playlist. Then I noticed that this game has its own music and that was interfering with my music so I had to immediately turn off all traces of music from the game.

Apparently half the randoms with open mics listen to shitty music when they play.

Most games I have no sound, serious lack of kit voices, couple of kits sound like kids or so etbing, sure doesn't have the feel of me3

You're not aware of Overload then, I take it? It's made by the original developers, but multiplayer is only coming some six months after release, they want to focus on SP campaign first.




There's also Descent: Underground... While it carries the name (and focuses on MP), the game isn't quite what it should be, probably because the devs are not related to the franchise in any way.

I'm guilty of this. Just last night I was playing Portugal.the man-Feel it still and I was so missing my ME3 N7 Fury. I could totally picture her plugging her earphones to that beat as she drops down the shuttle and activates her annihilation field and begins to kick ass.

Yep. Pretty much always have music playing.

I also listen to podcasts while i'm grinding gold with the boring but effective human melee vanguard. Just goes to show how braindead that kit really is. That I can play gold comfortably while mostly focusing on the podcast and with the ingame sound muted. Not that i'm complaining, the grind in this game is ridiculous so anything to unlock stuff at a reasonable rate is always welcome.

I put Pandora on shuffle whenever I play Multiplayer but, in Single Player I don't.

Yes, I need to get comfortable with listening to music during this again. Always used to do it with ME3. Put some metal on, and usually I played better.

Can't be doing with any airy fairy pop crap though!

I love abstract, ambient, (Oldschool) Goa / Trance and Industrial. The more abstract the better. And Rammstein, especially when I'm on a blood rush with my Krogan, unfortunately Youtube muted my videos when I tried to put Rammstein on them.

What I hear often depends on the time of the year, every year I repeat the "feast of eternity" how I call it, play ME3MP all day with old playlists I heared in the time when I started with ME3. This year will possibly change, Andromeda is here!

I think my usual tracks are too weird and abstract for 'normal' people, but at least its something you possibly never heard before.
