Share our new BioWare fan forums with others

It's become a ghost town in the MP section on BSN..the people I have spoken with that remain there, their reason for not coming here is that they are on the fence about whether or not they want to keep being apart of any community at all. There are a few that will join us in the next few days. I looked on facebook, I dont recognize any of the names at 2 multiplayer groups..but I left them the link to here with a description of this community.

Dobbster, dicaprio was murdered in that thread you posted earlier...I dont think you want to visit the crime scene.

Cyonan's been using that to distinguish between the old BioWare forum and this one. Think it just kinda stuck with some of us.

I have web space and know how to wield it - if we need room for anything, need to move, whatever. I'm a bit late to the Great Purge Party but I'll post and tweet and change sigs to point our peeps here.

Also will be archiving as much as I can of the soon-to-be old one.

I go back once or twice a day to see who all is still there and post the link to here as many times as I can get away with. But, basically, the ME3 MP forum is a desert. Everyone has come over here..the ones who are still posting there..are already signed up here and are just messing around there.

As far as any devs that come by..hey they're just fans, too. They're community.

It is my hope that if they drop by, they can feel comfortable, and most importantly know that we don;t expect anything from them. That's not what it's about. We don't expect them to drop hints and all that. It's fun playing around, but I, for one, don;t srsly expect them to do anything so foolish. I wouldn't want them risk their job, etc.

I just like cool people. Some of them are cool people. As well as being fellow fans.

I'm not saying this in response to anyone. It's more because of some of the dev replies about the new forums. They say well you know I can't say anything about the game. etc. And I just wanted them to know that it was not about that.

I updated my sig on the old BSN but, honestly, I've pretty much abandoned the old forum, especially with the stellar job Cyonan and crew have done setting this one up. Still, I'll try to pop over to the old BSN before the lights go out and get the word out some more...but with all the interesting people, both from DAIMP and MEMP, over here now I just feel pretty meh about it.

An excellent point, EZ, excellent point. I'll keep that in mind.

I did leave the link in a few screen shot threads on the DAI boards.

Up to you of course. I would simply point out that spreading the word may bring more interesting people to our forums.


A general note: there may also be people that never leave a particular section, or even a single thread. I know I was that way when I first joined. It's a little less likely now with the announcement but it's still possible. The MP sections I think are good for branching out but for the other sections anyone may visit, it may be worth it to pop in and let them know there are alternatives to annihilation.

In any case, thanks to everyone here for spreading the good word and helping this forum come alive!
