In Baldur's Gate....making my way south to Nashkel with Imoen, Khalid, Jaheira, Xzar, and Montaron as my party. The latter two were killed in the wilderness early on but, once I remembered that you can't (I don't think) remove party members without talking to them first, I ended up rezzing them at the temple next to the Friendly Inn. I'll probably swap them out once I get to Nashkel, in favor of Minsc and Xan.
Survived several (incompetent) assassins, returned a belt, a ring, and some trinkets. Killed some spiders, an ogre, a bunch of hobgoblins, and a witch.
Met one of the added characters, Neera, in Beregost and told her to get lost since her voice is awful. Tried to talk to another added char, Dorn, but he was a grump and told me to go away.

"Go for the eyes Boo, go for the eyes" I believe you quoted that to me once before. Brings back so many memories, I tried to replay the game about a year ago but it was just too slow for me and my impatience.

It is a big game. I do the same and have to complete every quest, pick every plant. I love the combat music and wish they didn't change it to start later in the battles. Odyssey looks beautiful and I like that you can play a female in this one. Is there much stealth or can I use the sword and bow. There's a strong element of stealth but the game gives you lots of opportunities to use your bow and the game almost encourages melee. Early on without using stealth to some extent though it can be challenging. There are some Abilities you can use that offset that though like Rush Assassination. You'll adapt very quickly. Yes you can play as a female, Kassandra is I think my favourite female protag of all the games I have played. Her VA is great although some people have taken a while (in game) to really feel the love. MarilynRobert may be able to give you better insight as a new player to AC games. I am so lousy with a sword in AC Odyssey, what with all the parrying and evading...just so very bad at coordinating my keyboard, mouse, and abilities. But I'm having a blast with my bow and between my bow and stealth (which I have never really made much use of before in a game), I can clear out entire forts. Certainly you'll do good with a sword if you are good at the game mechanics. dustyelf

Eventually I will have to get AC Odyssey, sure is pretty looking besides the characters. Fallout 4. Trying hard to get McCready's approval up. I'm thinking Jessica may romance him since I haven't done his yet. His approval isn't as easy as Piper's or Cait's. Pick a lock and the two girls approval. Now steal or pick a lock of an owned item, not so much. Went to Diamond City and picked a bunch of owned door locks to his satisfaction. Finally got my first flirt dialog option with him. Met up with this stuck up, arrogant Malcom Latimer. Had enough of his stupid mouth and Wellington's and shot them dead, turning Diamond City hostile. Had fun nuking the city and decided to reload the game. When you're done sweeping the deck go over there and clean that mess up I made. Oh, the likes of me belong down below. Filthy, lowly people like myself don't belong up here in your high castle, eh? Alright, sh!t for brains, that did it! Look at that, you bleed red just like the rest of us lowly scum. Burn them! Burn them all! You got the Desert Eagle mod! I got that one too! 😀

Oh I hope you get back to Ezio, he is a loveable rogue but yeah I found the gameplay in the Ezio games tiresome. Do you intend to play Odyssey, it'd be a better introduction to AC games? Oh it's not full stop, no stars. Just a bit of a breather to get the face punching desire out of my system And well I was going out of town so I couldn't have played with him even if I wanted. Did end up finishing the mission I stopped on before leaving. Almost got a full synch but was a second to late on the trigger and then the next quest began and I don't think I can retry the other one until later. So they got to spend the weekend in prison and think about their actions. Hehe. And I did get Odyssey It was the kick that I needed to finish the first game in the series. I do like playing from the start to the end, so I'm probably going to give the other games a few more pokes before moving on. And I figure it will be nice and patched once I get around to playing it. melbella You can kick out characters without talking to them You just can't add them back or change your mind since they can't give you their "Are you really sure?" talk. Which is why Imoen often has fatal accidents on the road to Beregost in my games. Very mysterious. EDIT: Also handy if you want to split up a npc couple. Montaron can't complain being separated from the lovely Xzar if he's dead. And Xzar never loved him anyways so...Just a hand thing to know. --- As for what I did over the weekend: Loads of Heroes of Dragon Age (and wondering who that Argent bloke is) and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. Realized that Wally was actually just a kid instead of a socially awkward teenager and that Brendan's white hair was actually a hat. So the more you know I guess...

I (re?)discovered the "reform party" option yesterday, so I used that to kick out both Xzar and Monty, then added in Bronwen (whom I'd actually forgotten was a char) after I de-stoned her and then the last of the new EE char's, Rasaad. Then I thought maybe I should have waited until after clearing out Nashkel Mine to do that but too late now since I'm hip deep in kobolds 3 levels down.
Had a scripted run-in with Dorn on the way to the mines but told him to bugger off this time. That'll teach 'im to be a grump to Ravelle!
Stopped the merc Grey-something from killing Prism before the latter could finish his ugly likeness of Elliseme. Thought about snatching the emeralds afterwards but....nah.
After all these years, I still hate that stupid mine. Too dark, rude guards, lotsa enemies, and it just.....keeps....going.....

Fallout 4. Finally got enough approval from McCready and he told me about his son being sick and needed some special meds at an old research building. Got the meds and got them to Daisy who saw to it that it was sent to the Capital Wasteland. Found the lost patrol for Danse and did some vermin extermination for Rhys, that annoying c@nt. Now I believe Nuka World is calling me. This is called earning a Darwin Award. Coming at me with a pool cue and I have a high powered rifle. I wish the AI in games was smarter than this. He did have a firearm in his inventory. Gotcha! I caught you looking at my ass.

Last night I played one of the best side quest I've done in a long time. Honest to god I had so much fun fighting the Minotaur. I knew I was in for a treat when it started like this: My man, I know exactly how you feel - mine are little shits too. I have to confess, I didn't twig. Silly old me. Her entire delivery throughout is just note perfect: You know what Kassandra? I agree: I am so honestly pleasantly surprised by this game. I haven't had this much fun in ages.

Its just plain dumb gameplay/AI.

And yes that hole lead up to the Minotaur fight has some very funny stuff in it, as does a lot of the game. The writers mostly did a good job with the humour whereas it easily could have become to cheesy and Kassandra's VA's delivery of the lines are SO GOOD.

so another day in AC Odyssey, will hit 200hrs today currently on 198 and that will be my first 200hr PT of any game in one play through. Having had to take an 11 day break early on in the game it seems I have been playing it forever and the good thing is I am enjoying it as much now as I did at the start if not more so. Watched some women cheering on a couple of guys having a fight/wrestle on the beach: Listened to Barnabas and Herodotos and Kassandra discussing what the stars are: Got drunk with some Spartan soldiers And woke up to find this

In Baldur's Gate....
Cleared Nashkel Mine and now doing some exploring. So many areas you would never even see if you just did the main story quests. I found Melicamp the Chicken and helped turn him back into a human; helped Drizzt Do'Urden fight off a horde of gnolls; lugged some guy all the way back to the Friendly Inn for healing; stumbled on a crazy necromancer talking to undead like they were his family (haven't visited the temple to get the quest to off him); and now hanging out at a dig site, waiting for something to happen.
Current party is Imoen, Jaheira, Khalid, Branwen, and Xan. It took all my willpower to pass over Kivan at High Hedge and Minsc and Edwin in Nashkel. For the first time I can remember, everyone is some shade of Neutral (my elf is Neutral Good).

Ah, been meaning to download that mod. Can you help out a fellow gamer and tell me which mods mods I need in order to make that work? Below the Report Abuse button is a Requirements tab that you click and below the DLCs requirements is a Nexus requirements heading that list what is needed. Stuff like New Calibers, Loads of Ammo, various guns, etc.

Well in "Tyranny" Tunon the Adjudicator sent the Fatebinder to investigate both Graven Ashe and The Voices of Nerat. The FB first went to Iron Hearth the stronghold of the Disfavored. There he spoke to Graven Ashe at length and learned many things. Like how originally Ashe opposed Kyros and led an army against her. Kyros' forces defeated him and he was brought before Tunon Archon of Justice. He told how Tunon broke him and made him subservient to Kyros. He also spoke about how he became Archon of War and how it felt like being an Archon. Finally he mentioned that he had a daughter Amelia who was last seen at the stronghold of Stalwart. The FB during the conquest of Kyros had read Kyros' edict of storms which ravaged the land, the edict is still in effect to this day. Ashe said that he can feel his daughter is still alive and is being held captive. He asked the FB if he could rescue his daughter, and kill the last noble of Stalwart. The FB agreed.

I know she deserved it, but man, this is a brutal way to go. And I'd do it again.

Excuse you game... She barges into my home, rubs herself against my enemy, gives my lady an absolutely pathetic whack on the thighs...and you don't let me shank her? Granted history and all that. But I wanted to stab that little twit.
So yeah, continued where I left off in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Got full synchronization in the next mission, but had my hands to full for the one after that. Hehe.
Have gotten the ability to build my own crew, so having loads of fun with that.
Did Leonardo's weapons quests. The boat was kinda fun, tank was alright, gun was pretty annoying and the bomber made me want to go and wring someones neck. Don't think I've been this mad in ages.
So it was good my heroic friend came calling and we chilled in Minecraft. Where she charmed cats, I built a boat and we encountered some llamas.
Then a wee bit more assassin. Escorted an old man through the street in a rather bloody manner when it came to the city guards. Then was supposed to tail him later on, both without being spotted and on the roof. So when that twit Ezio decided to lunge himself past the darn roof it was time to end todays session. edit: Not quite. Decided to push through the rooftop and was content with 50 synch. Then attended a party and was very content with the conclusion. Ended the session proper in sequence number 6. Anger issues aside, I had fair amounts of fun.

Yeah that was very gratifying and I thought Kass's VA and the animations were great.

Took a step backward in time. I haven't used any mods the last time I played it because I was waiting for the modders to polish up and put everything in one package for easy install. I tried it just now and it CTD in the Jenkin's conversation. P.S. Something clearly doesn't want to render that set of interaction so I skipped it. There's nothing important about it anyway. Everything else went off smoothly. Landed on Eden Prime, picked up Ashley. I wish I could paint over the silly white and candy colour of her hardsuit.

Listened to Barnabas and Herodotos and Kassandra discussing what the stars are. Did you ever sail out during s storm and get Kass' and Barnabas' conversation about it? It goes something like this: Barnabas: "I don't think I have ever seen a storm like this one. We should have made an offering to Poseidon before leaving the harbor." Kass: "Oh, I can give him an offering right now alright." *you hear the sound of her puking*
