Got the Platinum trophy for Hitman Blood Money. My favourite way to kill is hide a bomb in something (toolbox, suitcase, etc) and just throw it at my target, and run away. No one ever seems to know who the killer was. Haha.
Another amusing kill was straight from a horror flick, two of my targets were lovers and were communicating using walkie talkies, I killed one and took the walkie talkie to help reveal the location of the other. As I approached him from behind, garrot at the ready, he whispers sweet nothings to his now dead lover, only the message is now being received by someone right behind him. He didn't get a chance to scream! Burst out laughing after that.

Dazk, what does it mean when a cop has a 2 over his head like this? Is he part of some quest? i.imgur.com/g7MgpKF.jpgIf I remember correctly (which is quite possible I don't) I think the number is his level. Think all potential hostiles have that little level mark to tell you how much trouble you're gonna be in when you bash their brains out. But having played in a while and my saves are a bit...disposed at the moment. For the save was I think just one single save, but you can replay each mission by pressing ESC going to Progress log then Progress Tracker at the bottom and then you can select the sequence and memory you want to replay and press replay at the bottom. And team Jacob ftw btw.

It's been over a week since Pokemon HOME came out and I have love/hate relationship with it. Love it for being able to bring my older Pokemon back, that I can finally use GTS (though, imo, it would exist withing Pokemon Let's Go Eevee/Pikachu and Sword/Shield, so also a bit of dislike here as well) and the more storage space the better. Who knows how many eggs I've hatched till now in Sword alone (and I have yet to hatch even one shiny...). On the other hand, it's still buggy, GTS doesn't allow Pokemon that evolve thru trade to evolve, and due to the nature of both Let's Go games and Sword/Shield, a lot of Pokemon are stuck there. That being said, I keep on trading Pokemon, got a few more shinies (including 2 shiny Raikou and shiny Giratina), as well as I'm filling HOME's Pokedex with missing legendaries. When I finally got Rayquaza (another legendary fav, surprisingly not from Gen V), I was instantly reminded of this

Re saves I remember being able to go back and do things again mainly because of bugs, do you mean that there are just auto-saves at the start of quests etc? I mean there doesn't seem to be any save options, other than the auto save. No quick save, no manual save. I'm not sure if it was a BUG, or if she cheated, but Evie bet me in the race to the sync point, so I wanted to try again and there are no load game options at all. This is all I see in the main menu. No quick or manual saves for AC Syndicate. I remembered being p****** off by this. That and the borish combat.

These saves are hours apart (the way I play) but it's good to know they're there. i.imgur.com/hV2ST4x.jpgSo I think I'll continue with my method of renaming auto saves after every successful bit. i.imgur.com/mLzTsGz.jpgWhitechapel is ours, and we've got the train. And team Jacob... are you serious ? Right now he's playing with a broken rope launcher. As if that will ever be good for anything.

olnorton Jacob is loud, rude and boisterous, the perfect man for me Haven't played in like a year or something, so not getting the broken launcher comment. --- As for what done today: Shadow of War, artifact hunting. Got ambushed by some bloke after exciting my crypt. Too bad for him. Did a little arena brawl which was pretty fun. Died once DESPITE PRESSING A YOU PIECE OF...but alas Talion has the retry button and the second try was pretty fun. Then finally stuff started happening in the plot yay. And now I can dominate orcs and met the much spoken about Bruz. He seems fun. Cleaned my first outpost today, so yay I guess. But it seems to be as pointless as I imagined so just gonna be lazy about doing it again. And am now in the recruiting phase of the game but was to lazy to bother with it now. Then a little tiny bit of Assassin's creed Syndicate. Just did the Jacob bit of the first mission then stopped 1/4th into Evies since I wanted to adjust the graphic settings and wasn't in the mood to opening the game up again. A wee bit of Divine Divinity 2, or well Divinity Original Sin with a two somewhere in the back. So still waffling and wailing on what to do. Current idea is Alyssa (Thinking Greyjoy for last name, but it looks silly) a noble born female human mystic. Class preset is inquisitor, a dabbling necromancer who likes to hit things. Ideally she's a bit mean, kinda greedy but probably solid, maybe. Likes kids though. Current plan for team is Sebille and Beast, then kinda waffling on the fourth. Technically it would be Fane since the rest is kinda in my plan for another character, but he's a tit and Ifan is so dreamy. And don't even know if I have one run in me, let alone two. So bah. But did get Alyssa out of the fort and into a stinky stinky swamp. So not sure if progress or not...

Haven't played in like a year or something, so not getting the broken launcher comment. When you first find the rope launcher, it's broken. Jacob says he's not going anywhere until it's fixed. You take it to Alexander Graham Bell and he fixes it for you, so you can fly around everywhere. It's a bit like that quest that Melbella was just doing in Witcher 3, with the mage Alexander, the fisherman Graham, and the ghost Anna Bell. Aw no, that was a Xenovox and not a telephone, so nothing at all like it really. forget I said anything. Edit: Did anyone else have trouble driving carriages? It's saying press E to drive, I'm pressing E like a mad woman and Evie is not climbing up. Alexander is saying, "we have to do this today" I'm like, well you bloody come down here and press the bloody E. (end of rant)

(end of rant) The damn carriages are a F$%king nightmare, there is one particular quest in particular where it took me ages to realise at one point that I needed to jump off to do the rest of the quest as I was too busy trying to steer the damn thing and I just kept failing over and over and over.

Fast-traveled all over the place looking for diagrams. Helped the Pellar (again). Killed an ancient foglet, a chort that had killed a fiend, a golem, a gaggle of nekkars, a rabid rock troll, several drowners, a Wild Hunt hound, a couple of earth elementals, a family of wyverns, a bunch of wraiths including a nightwraith, an armored arachas, and an archgriffin. Most of those were contracts and/or guarding diagrams. Also ratted out the fake witcher. First time I played that guy made me so mad, I'll never not turn him in. Jerk.
Now back at Crow's Perch to help Yoana reach master armorer status. Already had Fergus make the Enhanced Cat armor but I need to do Hattori's quest line before anyone can make better swords. Ugh. Soooo....not sure if I will do that before getting Uma or wait until I'm back in the city gathering allies.

Jacob and Evie are the best AC characters. To hell with the broody assassins. I love syndicate. Its my personal favorite of the series. I am liking Odyssey, but it doesn't feel like an Assassin's Creed game to me regardless of how many people I stealth kill on mass. I think its why I bulldozed through Syndicate for I couldn't get enough, but at times it feels like a chore to work on my first playthrough of Odyssey. I also had to uninstall Syndicate so I would play Odyssey and not just log into Syndicate.

Swtor Finished Onslaught on my SW. I will reiterate that I don't like the direction the story took after Kotet. It would have been better if the writers stuck to their guns ( instead of copping out and bring up ex machina to quickly remove some stuff) and not listen to the whine about returning to the old board. The old chessboard will always be there, it won't go away for the present timeline in the Old Republic era so I don't understand why some players want it back so soon. I'd rather have an interim in which the universe of Star Wars can be explored further. The SW was given two choices in Onslaught, I chose the third. This third path is somewhat interesting but lacking in direction. Moreover, the writers sabotaged players with some bad writing (dialogue options). I was searching for some insight into a particular quest and came across a discussion on this intentional or unintentional (bad writing) sabotage. Forewarned, I knew what to do when that moment came up. For the final Onslaught FP, I suffered a serious glitch in which the companion vanished under the ramp. The SW was frozen in combat. I could not log out or quit. I had to force quit to try to fix it. It didn't. During this period, the SW died, for no reason I could define so she was stuck in the Flash Point dead. I couldn't do anything. After trying to solve the problem in which I couldn't log in other toons because the game insisted the SW was still active, I submitted a ticket. I had my doubts a dev would come by to put everything to rights. It's not like the old days where there're thousands and thousands of players and the bioware devs had to be on their toes to stomp down glitches. Fortunately for me, after ten minutes of trying, I logged back in to find the SW out of combat and in med bay. The game finally recognized that the toon was dead and out and auto transferred her outside the FP. I went back in ready for more problems but the rest of the FP went off without any hitch. With no more story content after finishing what story there is in Onslaught, I switched over to the commando to finish up her class story. Had a hilarious moment when fighting one of those gold large spider like droids with four long legs. It danced over in a weird manner, aping a dead spider turned upside down with four legs curled up. Would have been funnier if it remained in that position but it righted itself once it reached the commando. Finally got a snapshot showing the whole squad.

I'm about ready to pull the pin on AC Syndicate. I made the mistake of trying to install the steampunk outfit for Evie (Which it said I owned) It got 99% installed and said download failed. No amount of retrying would get passed 99% But then it wouldn't even let me continue playing without the DLC. I did a verify and it found corrupt files, but downloading them failed. So I uninstalled Syndicate & Odyssey & the uplay client, removed all trace from the registry and rebooted. Reinstalled Uplay, tried to download Syndicate. It got to 23gig and stopped. i.imgur.com/Rvx9bbH.jpgIt tells me I can play, but of course when you try it just says downloading press Esc to return to title screen. And of course it's not downloading as it still shows 0 B/s. So it looks like I'll be back to sneaking around in Dishonored 2.

My preference for ACOD is definitely Kass and I think it is my equal favourite with Black Flag. Syndicate was too much of a change for me from previous AC games in terms of Combat and gameplay and I just hated the train, the carriages and the two protags although I really liked Evie. However London was great as was the history and I loved the main character in the World War 1 DLC. Bayek was great but I didn't like Origin as much as Odyssey and I didn't like the flip flopping between Bayek and whatever her name was Aya? The combat mechanics didn't work for me at all. I thought Unity was great too, especially the setting but I played it on release and it was a mess bug wise.

Also I change the securities settings in Properties to be Full Control for all the options as well, especially "Trusted Installer" if its an option. EDIT: Also when you uninstalled the games did you empty the trash and restart the PC?

EDIT: Also when you uninstalled the games did you empty the trash and restart the PC? Maybe weird, but certainly not uncommon. A quick google shows up page after page with the same problem. I spent about an hour reading them and trying some of the work arounds. Using a VPN seemed to work for a lot of people, but if I have to go that far, I'd rather just play something else. And yes I tried all the basics recommended by ubisoft support. I'm currently 40% downloaded through EPIC, so if that works out I'll continue playing. Edit: Well that didn't work. It downloaded 100% and verified the files on Epic, but when I hit launch, it crossed to ubisoft downloading a 0 B/s & press Esc to return to title screen. Edit 2: It did work, I only had to uninstall the 1/2 downloaded ubisoft version & say no to updating the game. Now if I can only find where EPIC has hidden the saved games.

I agree, I think the downfall for me with Odyssey is that I couldn't find the magic for the game, but to me it has more to do with the systems behind the game then anything else. Things like the skill tree or how much gear impacts the different trees so you must have multiple gear loadouts otherwise you are hurting different areas of the game especially when it comes to more difficulty encounters such as Bounty Hunters versus an stealth attack on location.

Resumed a Mass Effect playthrough I started ages ago. After being a console scrub for maaaany years, it's kinda weird playing on pc. Or laptop in my case.
Anyway. Feros. Time to get creeped out by mind controlled ExoGeni employees!
