Remembered that I also have AC Unity, so I paused Syndicate and started Unity so I can experience games chronologically since I played all previous games as they came out. Currently at sequence 3 and I can say that game isn't bad at all, That Elise girl is so cute shame she will die...

Thirsty Ernest and Hungry Katrielle got a go yesterday in Layton Mystery Journeys. Neither's need was quenched btw. But did go through two cases and mopped up the extra leftovers from the last three. Had a very cozy time with it.
Also played bunch of Divine Divinity 2 without making any progress except for coming to terms with that I really don't like Fane.
Then today a little bit of Syndicate. Wrapped up Evie's prologue bit and got to the city and tested out the carriage ride but Jacob refused to be fussy and just jumped on. So just enjoyed riding with the good horsie for a while. Then tested choking some thugs on the street but again, no fuss was had so now two thugs are going to wake up with very sore throats.
Then some more Divinity 2. Just checking if I had a save before getting outta Fort Joy since that made some people mad. Had it and ended up playing a bit more. Mostly just murdering the people before they became mad. Was going to put down some dogs but Sebille pulled a mad lass move of having a red shiny ball which made the dogs forget all about us. So they live another day. Then once I was happy I left the fort once more, but leaving exploring the stinky swamp until later. Did find Fane's mask and tried giving it to him, but he even infuriates me in that matter by not acknowledging it unless Alyssa mentions it's pretty. A thank you would be nice you stupid sack of bones.
Then guessing it will wrap up with a case or two in Layton's Mystery journey. Which will hopefully be fun. Been wondering if Fire Emblem Three Houses is something for me to try out next.

Hearts of Iron: Still first playthrough: Why is USA amassing 250 divisions on my border? I asked them if they want to pass through. They said no. They're in poor shape though, from insufficient logistics, so if they have in mind to try something, it might not go the way they think.

LOL yeah but as long as they're not civilians, got booted in ACOD a few times for getting frustrated with idiots with pieces of wood attacking me and decided to run amok. Me - "Let me kill this guard in front of these slaves at this marble quarry and they can be free" Slaves - "They killed the guards of the system that was keeping us here, lets attack them" <three hours later> Me - "No civilians left alive and four bounty hunters are dead, I guess they didn't want to be free" LOL. I killed a guard in Athens during a quest and was seen and got attacked by civilians and after killing about 10, a whole lot of wolves showed up!!!!!! Yeah the whole logic of the civilians attacking a heavily armoured or obviously deadly assassin was flawed, just like the GPS and instantaneous communication systems the Merc's used.

All this talk of AC makes me think I should start the games from 1 again but I hate the gameplay mechanics and combat of the Ezio games, however yes Unity is a good game. I played it at release and it was a bugged mess but they fixed it quickly however and was great to play. It is a beautiful setting and the combat and climbing are great as are the outfits, Arnaud though is probably my least favourite Assassin. Elise however was fun, sassy and very pretty.

In BF 2...
I finally...FINALLY...finished the campaign and Resurrection. I am actually surprised at how teary eyed I got over Iden's death... which is a sign of a pretty good game over all honestly. Its just surprising because we got to spend so little time with her over the course of the game and the DLC. A testement to the acting no doubt. Kind of interesting how concurrently this ran with TFA as well. Also it did sequel bait...maybe a little...which given the recent rumors that EA cancelled a Battlefront spin off in 2019 it is a little interesting and...well annoying...that we might not get to see more Zay...who just so happens to really look like her Dad! Its really weird. So overall I am actually a bit surprised at how good the campaign ended up if noting else.
Still on my journey of trying to level up my people as much as possible before I get bored with the game.
In Uncharted 2.
Well this game continues to go pretty much a lot smoother then the last one, by and large. The combat still seems smoother and the puzzles don't seem to be as intentionally trolley and the story is a bit engaging.
Oh it was fun too that in Nate's journal its no longer just togglable at very specific moments in the game but is instead openable at all times but the first few images...are when you do this...a journal. Recapping the first game, events of the current one...and a page which suspciously looks like everyone Nathan has slept with...at least he has kept their numbers! But the only one who gets a picture (genuine aww) is Elena. As much as I like Claudia Black Elena and Nate just has better chemistry.
Of course when I was thinking of logging off and moving on it decides to get difficult...or I get stupid. Up in Nepal in the middle of a rebellion trying to find a circuit breaker...took me a good twenty minutes...and there was a hole in the floor of a room which I went into like 5 times...just never noticed the HUGE GAPING HOLE.
Anyways with that I found the right temple and am off.

So, after having gone back to Mega Man Legacy Collection(Mega Man 1-6) to grab some chievos from doing challenges, I've reinstalled the Mega Man Legacy Collection 2(Mega Man 7-10) to get a further batch of chievos from doing more challenges. To top it off, the Mega Man Zero/ZX collection comes out tomorrow, so I won't have any shortage of Mega Man goodness to occupy my time.

At one point of the story you have to lurk there. Alexios aggroed the guards, got out, aggroed the whole civilian market, bounty hunters entered the chat... I used Sparta kick and stun arrows. After the fight ended, I managed to make a somewhat decent pyre of bodies (from carrying the still stunned and alive participants onto the same spot). Put some black oil jars (from the market) around, got to the roof of the nearest building and ceremoniously threw a fire torch down. If the game doesn't desync you for that, it won't desync you for anything!
In my defense - I was role-playing Alexios as a crazy pyromaniac. Don't play with fire, kids.
The Thief Trilogy was the first that allowed the player to carry bodies (unconscious or not). The main purpose was to hide the bodies but players could throw them into the fire / water / over the balcony / onto the chair / bed, etc with effective results. Thrown into the water or fire, the NPC dies. Other games that followed this, as far as I know, is the Dishonored series and ACOD. This additional fun feature add hours of play and creativity for players. I usually took the trouble to arrange unconscious bodies at the bar in Dishonored II. If the devs wrote a NPC reaction to this (a guard captain looking in on his rounds and yelled at what he thought were sluggards), it would be priceless. Which reminds me, olnorton . If you're continuing with Dishonored II, don't dump unconscious bodies on top of each other or on weapons (if going for non chaotic run). I've had unconscious NPCS killed by swords lying on the ground. Sometimes, they would fall (sleep dart) the wrong way and ended up killing themselves. It's still counted as a kill for the protag. It's not counted say when a guard went to check on a body, stepped on the sword and it sprang up to stab him. Yes, it does happen.

Obsidian Gryphon "I usually took the trouble to arrange unconscious bodies at the bar in Dishonored II." Skyrim was great for using bodies as table decorations etc. My son and I used to have competitions to see who could be the most creative, Fus Ro Duh was great for getting them into unusual spots.

Finally made it to Kaer Morhan, home sweet home! Greetings by sourpuss Lambert and ex-girlfriend Yennefer made it not quite so sweet though. Did manage to not get teleported out to the lake, though I was reeeeally tempted to push that one extra button leading to launch. Instead, cooler heads prevailed and they just had a nice megascope chat with Ida Emean.
Geralt decided to do some exploring of old haunts before getting down to the business of curse lifting, especially since I he didn't feel like spending any time with Lambert. First, the dilapidated watch tower not far from the fortress. I couldn't figure out why my portal jumping wasn't working, but I forgot to use the second crystal on it. After that it worked fine. Then headed west to the old Bastion, which turned out to be haunted by the ghost of a boy who died while training to be a witcher. Can't say I liked that trainer dude much.
There are a couple more spots in the south to explore for diagrams, then the rest are farther north on the lakeshore.
I really like how similar the place looks compared to the first game. Yeah, better graphics, but the same courtyard, same layout inside, same rubble. It's a just a little more run down, and there's still that big hole in the outer wall.

ACOD Had a little run in with the Cyclops. I forgot I had the advanced Chaos skill so I was a bit stumped for a moment when I activated it. The fight was over quickly. I don't need to loot any more because drachmae is already maxed but I looked around at the bodies out of habit. Did a double take when I saw Cyclops. Game began to act up when Kass acquired a ship and sailed to Megaris. When I tried to open the map, game crashed. This happened twice. I ran a verify file and was told two files had to be re-acquired. However, this did not solve the problem. I tried adjusting graphics and noticed that the game was full screen. It has a habit of doing that when I usually set it to borderless. The game froze and it was a bad one because it seemed to freeze the system too. I tried rebooting and waited for five minutes. When system failed to reboot, I forced a shut down and rebooted. I pondered over it and wondered why the game is acting up. I've played over 800 hours on it and never once had any problems until the last DLC. I have no problems playing swtor or ME3 MP. I figured the game files were somehow mucked up by too many write overs (DLCs and patches, etc) and perhaps a fresh install would solve the problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled to another directory, deleting the old folder. As I've constantly sync the game to Ubisoft, all saved files were restored. The game launched and ran well after. I'll see if it acts up again. If it does, I have to consider perhaps there's some software / hardware conflicts.

saandrig I always forget to just stun them. Oh, my third run is all about avoiding casualties so I got pretty good at it. Three main gear builds.
First one is with unlimited Shadow of Nyx - sneaking everywhere, knocking the odd guard unconscious, smoke bomb and strolling out when in danger.
Second build is with 100% Crit, 650% Crit Damage, 350% Hunter damage and focusing on the bow extra damage bonuses. Stun arrows with Multishot - everyone lives, everyone is with a headache after. It's a pretty powerful nonlethal stealth build as well, thanks to the big Crit bonuses. Probably also my best overall build for excelling everywhere.
Third build - or "Achilles" as I like to call it. 100% Melee and Elemental Resistances, 60% Ranged resistance, 100% Chance to Ignore half damage, extra Health and Armor engravings (for the lulz). Can't die, period. Stroll anywhere, loot whatever you like, stroll out with 20 soldiers and 5 Bounty hunters mauling you - no problem. In fact the Bounty hunters kill just about every solider while throwing bombs at you. They even kill each other that way. The damage you get from the odd range attack barely registers. Only the Medusa managed to take off some health and it's probably because her death beam has a fixed "HP % on hit" that applies every time.
I just don't have to kill anyone. So when the Huntsman in the DLC claimed "these are all the people you killed", Kass could have easily said "You mad, brah? Exhibit A - cultists that started several wars, enslaved, tortured and killed tens to hundreds of thousands of people. Cry me a river. Exhibit B - followers of Ares, aka rapists, thieves, mass murderers that would have probably been still alive if they hadn't tried to kill me on sight. Exhibit C - people whose enemies had Orichalcum. You just don't fuck with those, man. You see someone with Orichalcum and you should kiss their feet. Ok, I may grant you this last one, but it's still less casualties than what you did in the last hour. So, prepare to be Exhibit D."

With knocking enemies out in Odyssey I still don't fully understand the conditions, for I have tried to knock them out while being behind them in stealth, but nothing happens when I press the indicated button.
I did just reach the point where I meet Kyra and did a few missions around there and found out that I did something earlier then I should have, so I reloaded an old save and going to redo the island from the start. My plan of doing something in the game has been paying off even if its just a world map marker location where I have to raid a beach camp. Now the chicken world map location that was interesting.

AC Unity
Decided to invest into tavern business at the start of sequence 3. Turned out it was smart decision, because I'm equipped with lvl4 gear at the start of sequence 4. Now it's time to do slome side stuff before I come back to main missions.

Did some swtor and decided to take a break. After all, I've been ploughing through it for the past two weeks. It's a toss up between ACOD and Dishonored II. I went for ACOD I had a fresh PT hanging, started into it for perhaps an hour on Kefalonia before I left it. I thought I would be rusty and I was kind of; I accidentally killed Phobos by pressing R instead of E. Sorry Phobos. Five minutes in and I ran into the mercenary set on Kass. He immediately set me laughing after a brief fight; he died so gracefully. He leaped into the air, kind of tripped on the small boulder in his path and would have completed his lunge except that the fire got the better of him. So he died in a kind of swan dive. After an hour or so, Marcos told Kass about strangers that came to the island. Off she went to investigate. There were guards. bah, it's night. No matter. I put Kass atop a big boulder and shot at one of the guards. He screamed and fire dance. That woke up his two pals nearby and both shot awake and leaped to their feet and into the brazier in their room. Fire! Fire! I'm on F******* fire! I watched all three of them danced frantically and at the weird dance. It's a sort of shuffling to the side and they even exchanged ordinary conversation while at it. It never gets old. I can't wait to see the funnies the devs would put into the next AC. I'm also looking forward to next AC. Low-key hoping for some Viking action! Also going to do another pt of Odyssey as well, but as Alexios, but that won't be a while as I only recently finished with Kassandra. And stopped saying malaka every 2 minutes Yeah I may d o a playthrough of the game once my bathroom is done. I'm sticking to games I know for the moment though because I don't know yet when that' s happening.

Most overworked cowboy ken doll dude ever. Had a lovely time running errands for Mary, raking Micah out of jail, fishing with Jack and robbing a train with John, Charles and Sean. Arthur decided to dress up for her a little bit, out of respect for her station and in case she wanted more than a favor done. And to show her that just because he won't wear a tie doesn't mean he can't look or act like an adult, no matter what she or her daddy thinks. No way Dutch and Hosea raised him and John without teaching them good taste. Arthur just has a better sense of moderation, while John tries too hard. "A wild man in a striking vest is like catnip to the ladies, kiddos. Run around in them rags if you wanna, but always keep one folded in the saddlebag just in case. And keep it clean! You'll be thanking me for that tip for the rest of your lives." -Hosea, 1885That's Sherry. A real beauty, isn't she? Bought her from the Valentine stable at Hosea's behest. Sweetest and most even-tempered girl you ever rode. Nerves of steel, too. Not to mention fast and strong. A real powerhouse on four legs. I really like how similar the place looks compared to the first game. Yeah, better graphics, but the same courtyard, same layout inside, same rubble. It's a just a little more run down, and there's still that big hole in the outer wall.
I love Kaer Morhen. There's an insane attention to detail that just goes way beyond the "stereotypical medieval fortress" they usually appear as in games and movies and whatnot. From the placement on a hill flanked by a mountain and a lake to the layered courtyards seperated by gatehouses with murder holes, to the interior floors, walls and roofs being brightly painted and covered in faded murals, not to mention its rooms having actual functions and being full of furniture and tools and rubbish. Go to any decently preserved medieval fortress in Europe and it looks like that. Just because most of the finer touches are long eroded doesn't mean that people back then didn't want their big stone halls to feel homely. And that's what Kaer Morhen is. Even dilapidated, falling apart and mostly abandoned, it still feels lived-in.

Hearts of Iron: First playthrough: Well, loading up today, playing along, building, I suddenly noted I couldn't see any divisions any longer. They were gone. And so were all the people and equipment that made up them. - What!! I know there were divisions when I started, because I noted that info on the foreign divisions on my border were question marks. I figured the info would show up eventually. But instead all divisions disappeared, mine too. I tried reloading a game, and got the information (in red) on all my save games, that the save couldn't be loaded because it was from a different version of the game!? -Really? WTF is this incompetent screwup? Or did I run out of gameplay timespan or something? But I'm in the middle of 1947? There has been a lot of other strange things that have occasionally happened, but I have been able to ignore them. Crap, crap, crap.

If you are in stealth on PC you have to HOLD "E" until they are choked out, alternatively you can use the arrows that stun/knock people out can't remember what they are called and that's a good way to recruit Merc's for the Adrestia. I also think just unequipping your weapon and using your fists will knock people out rather than kill them unless you hit them once they fall on the ground. LOL re the chicken Island!!!!!! There is another island one that's not as out their but as strange when you get a quest to find Barnabas's wife.

I've recovered all the Wolf diagrams around Kaer Morhen except for one guarded by a level 82 earth elemental. After banging away at it for about 5 minutes, I had only depleted a teeny fraction of its health while it repeatedly one-shotted me. Since I didn't feel like fighting it for an hour, I gave up until later.
Next up is helping grump (Lambert) recharge the phylactery.

Yeah, I have been holding e and nothing happens I don't even see the circle progressing as other places where you hold a button for an action to complete and then I get noticed so they get stabbed uncomfortably. When needed what I have been doing is removing my weapons and just punching them in the face. I had Hades bow when I was doing the chicken island so my crew ate well on BBQ chicken that night.

Sounds like you might have missed the tutorial mission from Barnabas where knocking down people is used. It's right after you leave Kephalonia and he says you need to grab some crew. The knockdown might not be available if the mission is not finished.
Or you have a shortcut malfunction. The "E" should appear and be used just like the "F" key. If it appears on screen, but doesn't work, you might need to rebind it to something else and see how that goes.
