In BF 2...didn't actually play it but it is interesting I have been thinking about maybe winding down my playing of the game a little bit but then EA/ DICE decides to vomit out a new update all sneaky like with a LOT of changes that I have actually been coming to want...probably. Namely OT is now available in Co Op and more maps for both the Resistance and Prequel eras are coming. Also some other things that I am a bit uncertain about but it looks to be great...no Scarif though so I suppose that is coming next time? Does make me wonder how much longer they will actually support this game.
In Ace Combat 7: So I finally, FINALLY, got the Seasons pass. It was actually a bit of a funny conundrum because the three DLC missions are 4.99...which don't actually come togeter to be worth more then the seasons pass and since I wasn't that interested in the new planes...I was thinking about getting the DLC missions only...BUT THEN...I realized that the other stuff isn't just new planes but also patches...so yeah I spent like 8 extra bucks on cosmetics. But some of it is the Razgriz patch which is one of the neatest military inspired patches across all of fiction. Though it was a bit suspicious how fast everything downloaded onto the PS4...
So this will officially be playthrough number 3 of this game. Though I never actually one hundred percent finished playthrough 2. Just doing another run through of it before tackling the DLC, should be a nice little appetizer with everything else going on...especially since that big GRB patch has been delayed...
It always strikes me how beautiful and amazing this game looks every time I open it and start a new PT. Its just breathtaking how this series has advanced and its the first big game of the series..and probably only big game of the franchise...on this console generation its really telling just how much it has advanced since the PS3 era or especially the PS 2.
Got through the first 5 missions which means I got through the assassination of Harling and the wonderfully eerie 'Tears of Razgriz' track. It actually hit me this time just how steep the learning curve is for it. The first two missions are fairly easy and straight forward but by mission 3 you are really in the shit and the game doesen't really stop the frantic pace of the missions...except for a slight breather at mission 5...all the way till the end. I mean mission 1 is fairly typical AC 'stop the bombers' for mission 1 fair...like in AC 4, 0...and well a few others. Mission 2 is straightforward but by mission 3 you are introdced to the Arsenal Bird, the primary Drone threat, the big bad for the game, and Brownie dies and well...I have always admired how well written this game is and how it just pulls you into the action and the combat situations. Through music, dialogue, and the combat situations it pulls your attention in and makes you feel like you are in a race against time. Which then it was kind of off putting when my wife started snorting and mocking Brownie's screams of terror as she was being picked off by...said big bad. Always annoying when that happens and getting my immersion broken in such a way.
And I accidentally used the F-22 on the first mission with Spare...not a huge deal but it wouldn't make much sense in universe for them to let a Presidential assassin and convict fly a gen 5 fighter.

We never get confirmation in the game so i reject your reality and substitute my own and have her live (also pilot s plane that has two pilots headcanoning her as the second) and you can’t prove me wrong. But yeah that sucked since like Mhairi in DAA she was the only character in that group I liked. Luckily the LRSSG group is good. Hope you enjoy the DLC. I agree with the good things you said and can say the DLC definitely has those things.

ACOD Three hours play, no crash. I suppose I can safely say the old folder was bugged by something in the last DLC & last few patches. While there is no crash, the bug with the Pythia came back. It was supposedly fixed but Kass was pushed out by invisible guards again. I'm not complaining. I'll take that over crashes. One thing though, the cutscene for the Pythia section took quite some time to load. I don't recall it taking more than several seconds before. I forgot to pick up the quest from the old lady. *cough* who wants deer tongues and bear balls.

ONI, basic and intermediate research done. 10 dupes, the base is basically set and ranching is up. Was scouting for more water supply and found cool geyser and while digging there uncovered a hot one too.
Now for the taming. But first I need to set up oxygen generation by electrolyzers to supply exosuits. Major project. Then I considered msuhroom farm. The base needs isolation. Cooling. But water is kinda crucial first. So electrolyzers? And exosuits?
Found myself looking at the coolony for a couple of cycles. My building designs aren't that hot. I had cleared out a slime biome next to base and look to see germ count simmer down. I could make chlorine room in nearby biome close to a potential shroom farm but I'll belay that for now. Maybe with automated slime delivery system? Later.
First the water geysers. Then a good power cable backbone.

Yeah, I have been holding e and nothing happens I don't even see the circle progressing as other places where you hold a button for an action to complete and then I get noticed so they get stabbed uncomfortably. When needed what I have been doing is removing my weapons and just punching them in the face. I had Hades bow when I was doing the chicken island so my crew ate well on BBQ chicken that night. Sounds like you might have missed the tutorial mission from Barnabas where knocking down people is used. It's right after you leave Kephalonia and he says you need to grab some crew. The knockdown might not be available if the mission is not finished.
Or you have a shortcut malfunction. The "E" should appear and be used just like the "F" key. If it appears on screen, but doesn't work, you might need to rebind it to something else and see how that goes.
I even had a hard time with the tutorial working properly, I will give the key bind change a try and see what happens.

Pounce de León Whenever I read ONI I keep picturing that purple guy from the Ao Oni games doing the stuff in the post and it amuses me way to much. --- Finished Layton's Mystery Journey today and feeling a bit confused over the ending so need to go digging for discussions. But the game itself was a blast. Got a few extra puzzles I can do which I'll probably poke at tomorrow. But it was quite fun.

Just an update, it seems that there was a configuration file issue with my being able to knockout enemies, for I did a keybind reset and now I can <knock enemies> out all over the place. Time to add that to one of the first things I do when having control issues even if everything is reading properly.

Spent some quality time with Lambert and Eskel. Lambert may be a sourpuss grump but he's a stalwart ally, and Eskel is just a good guy. Next up is bonding time for the witchers while Vesemir does his Tao Chi with Uma and Yennefer tries to sleep while 3 rowdy boys get totally shit-faced downstairs.

Today in AC Syndicate, Evie was kicking arse, as is her way. She even slammed one blokes head into the turnbuckle. i.imgur.com/KsMEzI7.jpgThen this bloke shit himself, and wouldn't get into the ring with her. i.imgur.com/8mHoy7G.jpgSo the fight couldn't continue, and pressing Esc only bought up this screen. i.imgur.com/f3EYVvc.jpgSo I had to Alt Tab out, and shut the game down with task manager.

I never did finish the fights because I hated the melee combat in that game. I'm not a big fan of it either, it's all about combos. I just love some of the animations and finishing moves, unfortunately I don't have enough fingers to take screenshots of the best action. The fight was recommended level 9, Evie is level 9, and you get in the ring and they're all level 10! i.imgur.com/SQaAaDT.jpgNew personal best. i.imgur.com/Y2BsEN8.jpg

In BF 2... So not sure I have brought this up and I hope I haven't because I have been a little bit...well getting peturbed at some aspects of this game and needing some clarification. A. Leveling up your characters/ heroes especially. It seems the level cap is 1000 for pretty much everything but...well you stop getting Star card points it seems for regular infantry at level 70, and the heroes at level 40. Which makes a lot of sense but its just...what is the point of leveling up your toons beyond that? I certainly don't notice any real changes to anything when you level up so is it something in the background that changes or gets buffed? Damage resistance? Damage? I mean I think the problem with this too much is it could lead to severe balance issues (and we know how important balance is...well in Star Wars ...or in MP games in general.) But then what is the point of continuing to level if you don't get anything for it? And...I am pretty confused on what causes permenant damage, what does not cause permanent damage...and then how to get rid of it...because all those things seems to happen quite randomly. So...I am pretty much getting too used to Co Op which is kind of a shame in some ways, but then the update focuses heavily on Co Op...actually had a lot of trouble on it and SK base but then I think last night was the night that I beat Takodana for the second time with the Resistance. Just had trouble doing consistent damage with Rey...but even then she can't tank too many people will surrounded but I do have to equip reseilient dash to her more often in Co Op. Then tried to do some HvV and that was such a disaster I slunk back to Co Op...which then all my teamates left me so it was just 1 V everyone. I have to maybe try out some Instant Action I don't tink I've played that since like my first week but then I am pretty sure you can't level anyone

Bragging rights
And do you ask about the Hero health bar damage? If so, Hero health has regen bars - it's what you can regenerate after being dealt damage. Most Heroes can regen 250 health, but if they are dealt for example 251 damage before regen kicks in, they lose 1 HP permanently. And all Heroes, except Bossk, have health regen on kill, which brings back some of that "permanently" lost health bars.

Hearts of Iron: First playthrough: Well, loading up today, playing along, building, I suddenly noted I couldn't see any divisions any longer. They were gone. And so were all the people and equipment that made up them. - What!! I know there were divisions when I started, because I noted that info on the foreign divisions on my border were question marks. I figured the info would show up eventually. But instead all divisions disappeared, mine too. I tried reloading a game, and got the information (in red) on all my save games, that the save couldn't be loaded because it was from a different version of the game!? -Really? WTF is this incompetent screwup? Or did I run out of gameplay timespan or something? But I'm in the middle of 1947? There has been a lot of other strange things that have occasionally happened, but I have been able to ignore them. Crap, crap, crap. It was an update, "Husky", 1.9, on the fly on Steam. And no, it's not save game compatible. Why would you do something like that? I'm not tinkering with this mess. I started a new game. Decided to oust Hitler this time. Not happy with the progress so'll probably start yet another new game.

So I installed Dragon Age Origins a few days ago and I haven't started it yet...I don't know what to play. I'm pretty sure I've done everything possible in it already too. The curse of having spent more than hundred of hours in a single player game. I actually started a city elf lady, but then I remembered that it was like the less fun of the origins. I kinda do want to play an elf, but my last playthrough last year was with a Dalish already. Maybe I'll got for an elf mage, but it's not like playing a Dalish... Maybe I should play a Dalish again...but magic! At some point I even entertained the idea of installing DAI or DA2 instead...

Maybe because before the game launched Bioware had some promotional images on their site and the city elf one had a blood covered elf bride with a knife and crazy eyes. The text suggested the origin will be more tied to an uprising of city elves. It sounded cool. The origin wasn't exactly that, but I found it nice and somewhat different from the more cookie cutter ones.
My first origin was a male elf mage. It was nice, but predictable. Second run and my personal favorite was the city elf dual knife wielding dark haired lady. I actually played her a bit crazy and with a deep hatred toward humans. She waited for her dream marriage for so long!!! Overall I like the dwarf commoner and city elf the most.

Looks like someone likes downrodden life fantasies. I've done a crazy female city elf playthrough before. Like I've said, I've done everything in the game. I might still try to play a city elf lady. I'm not sure if I'm in the mood for crazy human-hater though.
