In AC 7...
Man those Anhilation missions difficult. I only got a B on a Long Day and then Pipeline Destruction not only did I only get through the...Pipeline Destruction...by the skin of my teeth but then those stupid trucks in the sandstorm are just really super hard to find because they keep on blinking in and out and you have to dodge drones the entire time! And since I failed I have to start the whole damn thing over again.
Anyways I also had a lot of fun dueling with Mihaly in 'First Contact'...actually managed to put a lot of missiles in him but of course he refused to die....which makes him less impressive then before in a way...I killed all the aces of yore but am having trouble with this twerp!...but I did enjoy some of his dialogue this time.
Last but not least I decided I am going with the F-22 this round afterall, sure it does not make a great deal of sense but I've already done the whole RP thing twice...I wonder if it makes the missions harder though. lol

As far as I know the quest can bug if you don't complete it the first time you enter Wounded Coast. Maybe that's the case? That me be the case there was definitely one time I went there and did something and left without checking that spot, was in a rush to complete something else.

There is a mod for DAO that allows you to bash open chests but you will damage some of the items in the process as the tradeoff. The bash mod for DA2 doesn't do that but I always have to re-train myself on how to use it.
yeah I know, but that mod only works in Origins and Awakening there's also an open lock spell for mages, but since my current Warden isn't a mage that's pretty redundant atm.
'sides, I don't mind having to lug Leli everywhere with me she and Alistair are my staple companions, the third slot is generally filled by either Wynne or Zevran depending on my needs or mood plus I have the extra dog slot mod, so dog is always there as well Yeah Lelian andd Alistair pretty muc halmost always come wit hme as well. I do sometimes replace Alistair in Orzammar though but that's maimnl y because of Oghren really for th eBranka quest bit so I can take him through there given it is dwarven territory.

Oooh, it's a mod. I thought you were talking about vanilla game. There's definitely no such spell there. Hey, where did Curious Crow 's post go?

Technically the game is classless, the starting classes are there so people have a starting set of abilities, but you can edit them however you like (preset section of the character creator). You just need to know what kind of character you want to be, mage, warrior, rogue...something mixed up...or weird (polymorph). In general, when using a party I tend to go with the standard: cleric (a class with hydrophist), knight/fighter, rogue and a mage type. The companions have default setup (but you can change them). Red Prince: fighter Beast: Battlemage Lohse: Enchanter Sebille: Rogue Ifan: Wayfafer Fane: Wizard Combat wise you just need to remember your surfaces and that single target damage is sometime better than AOEs, as taking down one target per turn is better long term. hm, I see I believe my last attempt was a Cleric, might try again at a later date does it matter what race you pick or is it mostly just flavor in terms of dialogue and such?
Not just flavor dialogues. They have specific bonuses and Undeads will be attacked on sight if seen without a hood or a mask. Also, there are some racist NPCs in the game that might not like you (but there are ways around that if required ). The base cleric is a hydrosophist/necromancer which is kinda weird. Also, necromancer hexes require removing physical armor and the rest of the "class" is bad at that. I would go hydrophist/warfare for some warpriest healer personally.

Swtor The creative bug bit and I made a new F-JK (guardian) and a male smuggler because I've only a female. I was assured the male smuggler is very flirty. Did a heroic on Alderaan in an area where I've always thought of as too small, insufficient objectives for players to hit, slow respawn rate. So if there're three players doing the heroic, there's competition. I felt extremely silly several minutes later when there was nothing to hit, I discovered a sort of hidden area while wandering with lots of mobs and plenty of objectives to hit. wtf, it took me nine years to find this area?

Back to Witcher 3. Was too tired to play the last few days.
Had some fun with Eskel and Lambert (and for some reason I now want to call them Siskel and Ebert). After finding Eskel outside, tended to by his faithful l'il bleater (who did not end up as forktail dinner)
the trio decided to try their luck with Yen's megascope. Sadly, all they found was some scared (male) mage and a very angry Yennefer who shooed them off to bed.
Uma was de-cursified and revealed to be an elven sage named Avall'ach. Another old acquaintance of Geralt's. The elf told them where Ciri was hidden but also warned as soon as she was un-hidden, the Wild Hunt would sense her. They decided to have Geralt wander the four corners of the world to gather allies and then go get Ciri. Meanwhile, Geralt got distracted again by all the maps he found pointing to Witcher diagrams and somehow found the time to search for more of them while also requesting help from everyone he ever met.
He visited Hattori again to have some Wolf swords crafted, swung by the Passiflora to conspire with Dijkstra and Roche, and recruited Zoltan while avoiding Dandelion like the plague.
Don't think I will recruit Keira this time because Lambert with Keira is even more annoying than Lambert by himself. Roche is on board but I have to talk to Sigi again at the spa to get his contribution to the cause (hey, I can't pass up free crowns). Then a quick trip to Vizima to butt heads with Emhyr, and then back to Skellige to find more diagrams, play king queen-maker, and recruit even more allies.

I'll give them a try today, on my past few attempts I played an elf, but I'm not overly fond of their overall aesthetics (mostly due to them looking so strange, their racial is pretty neat though)
I'll just cycle through the appearance slots and see what appeals to me this time around

You're gonna let her get spiked? No, I just won't go see her even though the journal is telling me to. She'll be safe in the backwoods, if unhappy about it. I haven't even found her lost supplies yet.
However, depending on what quests show 'failed' after I pass through the mist, I might reload in order to do them first.

Got my Ranger in GW2 to level 80 just now, specced her as a Soulbeast atm. she currently has 59% map completion...so...yay?
Still not sure what class to main as though...decided to delete my Necromancer because she bored me
so currently looking at a different class+race combination to try out, I still have a few story related achievements to do for Norn, Asura and Charr so maybe one of those

I finally settled on a Lone Wolf playthrough with Lohse using summoning and scoundrel for DOS2. I might splice in some Huntsman for first aid or hydrosophist for healing. Nothing like talking to inmates and them telling you that you need help with your little friend. ASAP. Or just plain running away from you. While Lohse makes for a terrible party leader, she's interesting to play still and she has an interesting quest line. I'm playing her happy-go-lucky-with-some-darkness...that's what fit her best. Which means she feel down a hole into a prison cell with someone who knew someone who might be able to help her...yep, just like that...randomly. Now though, I'm not sure how well going fully solo will turn out. Usually Lone Wolf is more of a duo.

Hearts of Iron: Third attempt at playing Germany. The second attempt, I went the path to oust Hitler. I didn't like it. I didn't like to reside over a ruin of a country when the civil war was finally ended in '43. I also didn't like the rhetoric during the gameplay. It was history ignorant and immersion breaking. Third, I forgot to disable history paths by AI, so much less insanely chaotic, but also more on rails. Never mind. First game I struggled with the lack of general & infrastructure resources, so this time I went: 100 civilian factories or bust. The consequence of that is that I have a constant lack of military hardware instead. Oh well. The thing is that while I'm building military factories now, I still miss out on all the accumulative production that more military factories would have churned out since 1936. Thus I can't give sufficient Lend Lease aid to Finland and Poland. It's very frustrating. ...And ominous, since I'll soon share border with Soviet. Oh well.

Well, poor Lohse, she just self-defended herself against all the Magisters of Fort Joy. It was an accident!...well more like a buggy thing in the game, once you "escape" Fort Joy, the Magisters all turn hostile and I went back in to finish some stuff. Anyhow, no big lost, I even saved a Paladin that came to investigate what those evil ****** were doing. Saying that, I probably should have made an Elf...all those body parts I can't eat. *sigh* I really don't understand people who claims DOS2 isn't dark. The first Act is just full of creepy stuff, mutilated corpses, shady people and I'm playing a character with an evil spirit in her head who just wants to use her as a meat puppet. She's also a jester and went over about 10 poor jokes with a talking skull...then he kinda exploded. Another accident.

Deleted last nights post for late night reasons. Which is the usual reason for my posts disappearing for future reference. And my account as well for that matter. So been playing Divine Divinity 2 for the last two days. Kinda by accident was just going to try a few things and then whoops it's few hours later and not much time to play other stuff. Have tried playing this game before like last year or so and made it to chapter 2 I think, then kinda lost interest and was too lazy to find where to put the save when I started playing again. So Last time is that run with my dorf and this time is this run with my hooman. Just for reference. Yesterday was a bit of a combat retribution for me. Fought a certain skeleton jester and actually whooped his bony arse for once. Last playthrough we just snuck past the area and skipped the combat for the most part. This time we were out for blood and ground his bones to dust twice then ate his soul as an added bonus. WHO'S LAUGHING NOW YOU LITTLE...! Anyways, then visited a trio of card playing skeletons and had a bit of a non card battle. Lost the first time then forgot to account for the whole lich shtick and was woefully under prepared for round two. Quit the game, mulled a bit then came back with a plan. Did a bunch of tactical stuff like getting Ifan to high ground and...well that was the extent of it. He's not only a dreamboat, he's a proper beast that man. . So we killed the trio, then ate one of their souls, let the other two rise, ground them into dust, ate another soul then cackled maniacally as we destroyed the final one before feasting on his essence! Don't think I got any xp for the fights, but the satisfaction was more than worth it. Then the session ended with a nasty girl kissing hag. Well the hag went down easy, but her nasty pets did not and destroyed us quite thoroughly. So there were crossed arms and icy glares all around. Then today I decided to let kissing hags lie and went to do some other stuff. Which was mostly killing magisters, here, there and everywhere. Well I'm missing a couple. I know that somewhere out there there is a very spooked one in hiding and Lil Yarrow is too stupid to be egged into a fight conversation wise. Not like we murdered her co-workers in the courtyard just a few meters away or anything... By the end of the session a few levels were gained, some weapons found and much bloodlust sated. So ended by going to visit the kissing hag, this time viping her and her ilk out with relative ease. Okay there were deaths, but those happen and we don't need to talk about them okay. Then parked the group by the docks, looking longingly out at the sea but sadly having the view blocked by the next sessions combat headache.

So yesterday dropped back into my L7 character in The Division 2. Set myself for the grind but I think they have lowered the bullet sponginess of the enemies as the game was way less difficult than I remember but previously I wasn't in the right mindset to play. So, cleared a few side missions and a couple of main missions and managed to get to L8. Changed my look thanks to a stack of Loot Caches (free with achievements) I had stored and got some decent gear and got an upgrade to the White House. Otherwise just ran around scavenging and killing random enemies for the 2 hours. My son is working shifts ATM so we haven't been able to play together, he's been playing late at night so I am playing catch up all the time. Was running with the Drone and The Turret but dropped the turret for Pulse. I found Pulse really useful in TD1 as it shows where enemies are but will have to see if I need the Turret during combat today. May have to switch back. Got me an AC Odyssey Patch for my sleeve: Talking to the Bosses The Drone is great New look, way cool with the aviator glasses and cap on backwards

That is kind of a spoiler really. Finish her quest in a nice way and you'll receive a pleasant surprise. ...no, not the bed kind. Considering she mention it in her origin intro video in the character creator, I don't see that as a spoiler. and I have already finished her quest in a nice way...and romanced her in my first play-through. Oh I forgot about the intro. So, did you like it? I found it pretty good and unique. I had Sebille once as the protag and another as companion / LI. I usually humour her dark ways (companion). I chose to convince her not to do what ABC wants when she's the LI.

I did Sebille as protag aas well, I really liked that playthrough too. My only try with her as a companion didn't end well... Dang, now that you reminded me of Lohse's quest reward (which you don't get if you play as her), I might very well restart the game and go duo with her in the party, ahahaha.

In AC7...
So BF2s servers were having issues last night and it was a rough enough day so wanted to play something casual...so onto AC7 MP...and I 'hated it'. I mean it seems descent enough and maybe there are some more modes out there that are better and involve your human players blowing up AI shit...but no just you against human pilots. I finished third in the first match, then 7th, then 6th You get points with each hit, and more points the higher the person you are killing is away from you. Also the title track to AC 0 played over the match I had in Rocha Roja.
In BF 2.
Got it working and ten played some this morning...and man is this stuff really a blast sometimes. As an odd note it seems the OT maps are easier then the other two eras...because I was on a bit of a role on them of victories then a roll of defeats doing the prequels. Also played through Kessel which is going to be highly annoying because of the acid pools.
Playing as Luke I got to confirm as super fun. Probably had my most extended play session with him and he is quite awesome, probably with the best...or at least second best...charge attack among the saber users. If Rey had that instead of that dash crap she'd be a lot more useful. Though I did really miss Insight with him. Still three fairly good powers and at one point on the DS II I had a 27 kill streak going which is amongst my best work. He is just fairly great all around and I enjoyed finally getting a chance to level him up...and Han and Chewie.
With all the OT maps out of the way tried doing some Prequel stuff because I could've sworn they added new maps to that, but I am having trouble finding them it seems *shrugs*. Anyways started off with a lot of Obi-wan and during one of the matches I had 100 K experience with him just a super impressive match slicing through waves of Droids, again I think a high 20 kill streak at one point. I also am quite amazed at just how tanky I got him now that he is pretty much fully upgraded. I actually thought it was glitched because when he is taking blaster fire the stamina bar was just draining so slowly, like almost impercitably. Of course it drains a lot faster on the attack...I am sure this is a no duh moment but the tactic seems to be to just use the defensive blocking, get close enough, slash, and then get to cover. Of course he cannot handle being surrounded.
I am also surprised just how fun the E-11D is. Its semi automatic but you can hold it down and it still fires, it can really cramp your style in these games when you have to keep pressing the trigger so you can tap the button for more aimed shots or hold it down for more spray and pray scenarios and can still get a lot of kills that way. The T-21 operates under a similar manner but the RoF is too slow...especially given its attached to the heavy.
With Anakin I have gotten over my dislike, probably how they changed it but Retribution actually starts on a ridiclious long cooldown and well I don't now when it would be best to use it. His lightsaber strikes are efficient, Heroid Might is nice, and the Pull dominance is a fun animation and its a lot more effective then Kylo's, and its fun just slicing people with my lightsaber when they are fallen.
