colfoley I used the phrase on the ending and not the person. As you well know, I rarely attack anyone personally that isn't a troll like "almost 10 cloud" and "supreme jizz". I didn't find the "good ending" ambiguous at all. Did you not romance someone? Both endings get slides. The fashioning yourself into a God ending implied initial blood shed from the power change, as any revolution might. I can't remember how the slides depicted the mainland, but forcing them to change or die made.better sense then "and then they all changed their immoral ways and became one with the earth, kumbaya". Yes, people in your party were against the change, and yes they died in a battle against you they voluntarily joined and accepted the risk of. Never suspected Kurt would be that hardcore about it considering he can literally die from betraying you during the Coup. Reload, on easy, whack the nadaig and try out the ending yourself, or look it up on YouTube. I tried the good ending after feeling terrible about Constantine for 10 minutes, only to increasingly hate every slide that came up on the screen. I reloaded, killed the nadaig again, and chose to embrace Constantine's new ways. I wasn't disappointed- it was more realistic and reflected me character better. And MY character was on good terms with Every Faction and I had the Diplomatic older dude as King of the natives and everything. My de sardet got all of the "good slides" on the "good ending" they just painted an outcome devoid of any emotion and happiness for Sardet. Hmm an ending devoid of any happiness for De Sardet? Sounds perfect. (Though I also disagree that it was devoid of happiness) *** In Civ 6. Way too much Civ 6. The one more turn syndrome is definitley in full effect here. I know i have probably said this before but it really takes way too long to get anything devlopped in this game. I mean it seems like basic military units take as long to build as world wonders for crying out loud. I think the idea was to encourage specilization of your cities for the districts here but...well its ridiclious that you cannot build buildings or units in your districts one at a time that would've helped. Its enough that I am not sure if I particularly like this version of Civ...and yet it still is perhaps one of the most addictive less self control games I have ever played. Anyways thoug in spite of this things are still going well. I have managed to build cities on my mini continent and have it fairly well boxed in. So much so I have even started to even establish extra island cities building two of them so far. I do like it also that each of the great people do do their own thing it seems, within some variance, I guess...one great merchant let me expand my territory (big win!) and another gave me an extra trader and trade route (Big win!) But now I am also fighting a war because Germany and Brazil has declared war on me, they intercepted a settler of mine...which I was then able to get back and got a scout killed. But really that has been it and my allied city states seem to be much more interested in fighting this war then I am. Mind you I am gettign more amentiy warnings so even when I am not really figting a war I am fighting a war but and I have been militirizing a little bit more, got my first Frigate operational...before getting gunpowder or canons so I am just trying to imagine a Frigate armed with crossbowmen/longbowmen or...ballistas that is the term.

I finished Outer Wilds, has anyone else played it? It's easily the best mystery and the best exploration game I've ever played. It was beautiful, interesting, had great music and I couldn't stop playing it. I just....really disliked the ending. I can't say why because spoilers are massive in this game. It's one of those 'don't Google a fecking thing just play it' situations. Like the Second Dream in Warframe. I voiced my opinion on the Outer Wilds Reddit, where I was kindly informed by a lot of people that I am wrong and the ending was superb I've come to the conclusion, to paraphrase something Cohhcarnage said on the Dropped Frames podcast, that this game isn't about the ending. It's about all the rest of it. And all the rest of it is an experience I doubt I'll ever get again in a video game. It's one of those occasions where I need to go into the streets and threaten to cough on people if they don't play this game.

Hawke So I looked at Red Embrace Hollywood and one of the complaints said there were no happy endings and sometimes you ended up with someone you'd hardly had any interest in? what's your thoughts on that? Hustle Cat: I usually prefer one hour of content/reading for every $1 I spend. It's currently $20 and it says you read it in 7. Was that a single playthrough? Loren: The Amazon Princess: looks like more clicking on a laptop than I am willing to make with my hand issues. it says partial controller support, but don't know what that means in regards to this game. Cna you give me some feedback? Right now, I have "My Vow to my Liege" in my cart. I think the only reason I haven't bought it is I'm feeling a bit burnt out on anime looking characters and heavy hints of asian culture being used as a backdrop. It trends to give Love Interests that cater to the fanbase from the country it's mimicking, which usually involves men telling my character what to do. I'm downloading a demo for Akash, path of the five Red Embrace: Hollywood. You can end up with your chosen faction leader, which is good and non-romantic. Considering that the game clearly spells out the mentor you choose, it is hard to say that it is unexpected. Some of the endings are sad, some of the endings are horrific (very sad and very descriptive), some of the endings are happy.
Shaorise is the best leader, of course. Also, there is one quite amusing scene, where your former opponent comes to assist you. Not that you need it, but it is very nice of him.
Hustle Cat. I think, it 3 was PTs (of 6) and I got the VN from Humble Bundle (~$1).
Loren: The Amazon Princess. There's turn-based combat. I think, other games in the series make it optional, but not Loren. Played with KB&M, so can't say anything about gamepads. You could try it and refund if it is uncomfortable to play. One of the sequels/spin-offs has a demo, but that game is much more combat-focused, than Loren.

I downloaded about 12 demos of visual novels Akash was a winner. And just now due to a bad sleep schedule, I finished "In Blood" and it will probably be a buy for me as well at some point (it's not out yet.) - How to Sing to Open your Heart has about as interesting a protagonist as Sleeping beauty.
- Death Drops had a good start, only for it to so awkwardly introduce it's NPCs that I turned it off.
- Minuet Ambition went into it's Game Mechanics. It involved shopping and maintaining clothes- so I turned it off.
- Show for Lovers was a modern day first year of college something I really tried to push through for a bit because the protaganist was a hard working book worm but the dialogue between her and her friend about boys, friends, and places I didn't know was just too drawn out. Just for me to finally reach the party people were getting drunk at and the guy wasn't even that cute.
- Cafe 0-- the premise was so interesting only for the protaganist to be so... uninspired by living that she doesn't actually mind being dead. Which I can't relate to XD
Time to try to sleep again. Edit Add: *fails* 9 more to try. Which looks the least stupid... actually, no, let's click on the ones that look like I'll hate them. Prank MAster and How to Fool a Liar King, you're up. ... - Prank MAster: Hey~o, I'm a middle class white high school girl with parents who give me pretty much everything I want but I'm such a dramatic brat that I can't wait till I move out and (turns it off)
- HtFaLK: I'm running away from home and got lost in this forest. A man and his two companions approach me and offer me safety to a safe location. I don't get any creep vibes off of them at all, but one of them implies that I can't hold my own so I punch him in the face. I think not everything that works for an anime will work for a visual novel.
- Dizzy Hearts: Not amazing, but maybe I could get into it. Until it introduces your future story companions with a trope bumping into someone. Hmm, MC has very large boobs....wait, why does that woman expose her mid riff when we're in like, freezing russia? she has big boobs too. And her friend...is literally labeled "busty elf". And then the Tailor comes on screen and her boobs are even bigger. I am then looking at the art of 5 characters, and the only one with less than a DD cup is the petetie flat chested elven girl I just "fell onto". This is probably some lesbian romance novel with panty shots for guys to enjoy. Next.
- Sout Set: I don't hate it. I'll finish the demo later to see if it holds up with a bit more time.

This is probably some lesbian romance novel with panty shots for guys to enjoy. Eldritch Univeristy gets the same stamp, turned it off as soon as the lesbian protagonist stripped down to her underwear and stood there on screen "before bed. " Yes, maybe real lesbians do want their protaganists in bra and panty sets to stare at, but it still triggers my (this is lesbian porn for men) buttons. Sout Set: I reiterate that don't hate it, but the demo didn't particularly make me want to shell out $17 for it either. Maybe if it were <$7 Leaves three more: - Reborn in Sin (Demo)
- Caladria Chrnoicles (Demo)
- Tell a Demon (Demo)

After two weeks of procrastinating I picked up SMT Devil Survivor Overclocked and played it for the weekend. A bit anyways. Made it through day six, then agonized which of the three available paths I should take. Had Chaos, Law and NOPE at my disposal. NOPE-ing the heck out of there was not really an option though, since I felt it was just delaying the inevitable, so better try and nip it in the bud now rather than having the massacre of millions on my conscience or an ever expanding demon threat looming over me if that plan failed. Wasn't really fan of law this time around, but would've probably have picked it if our paths only lasted through this event, but alas the position you assume is pretty permanent I think. So ended up picking Chaos, since while the position is permanent, you are your own boss in that one. Or at least that's how he sold it. Also there is the possibility (not really, but like the idea) that I can command all the demons to form a ball and yeet themselves into the sun. So that's a nice deal. So have made my way though like 90% of day seven. Which is like 4 hours shorter than the other days, but pretty much just boss fight after boss fight. And like it was really frustrating, but doable. Until I hit the final boss. Which is the final boss, all the Bel-bosses from the game and then final boss has a round two. All in a row (but thankfully not at the same time). And just no. Nope. Nada. Don't wanna. So probably going to have to grind for quite a while. Spend some Maccha, fuse some demons. AKA put it on hold until the weekend. Or longer... Otherwise been binge playing Baldurs Gate 3. Or well, the character creator because I'm fickle as heck. It's fun.

Reborn in Sin (Demo): Ooops, that's a hentai porn game, which still could have been okay to play, except it doesn't actually have any but the one choice in the entire demo.
Caladria Chrnoicles (Demo) is actually 100% a kinetic novel. Something about high school kids.
Tell a Demon (Demo): actually looks pretty cool. You are a vampire/demon dude just recently broken from a mind control web. The hunger for blood literally speaks to you within your mind. I'll have to finish the demo to find out if I like it for sure, but it's way better than another tittering high school K drama

Took a break from Odyssey to tick off some of the remaining side missions in Control. Fought a giant plant - the doctor who sent me to "investigate" was upset that I killed it. Isn't...isn't investigate code for "kill with fire" in games? Regardless, I then had to track down and kill the giant plants mobile babies that were leaving giant blue poops everywhere. Then I accidentally triggered the Alan Wake DLC mission Whatever - it's still a hell of a lot of fun.

I have been playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance for the first time, and have finalized "My Team." I was disappointed that one of my favorite comic heroes (Ghost Rider) wasn't actually any fun to use, so I had to change some things around. My absolute favorite Marvel character is fun though, so my official team is Thor, The Thing, Storm, and Blade. We just defeated Loki and the Destoyer armor in Asgard, and look forward to attempting to thwart Dr. Doom's evil scheme.

I've been ignoring any and all other games for months now, I always just end up launching Guild Wars 2 Now, I've actually got some shit done! All of my characters are now at level 80, and mostly geared (in exotics for now, with some ascended trinkets and weapons sprinkled in). Fashion Wars below. I'm I want to say maybe 60% of the way through the series of collections for unlocking the Skyscale mount? That goddamn lizard better be worth it. I also completed the A Henge Away From Home collection in Draconis Mons, which was a solid 2+ weeks of daily grinding on that map to get the ascended back item from finishing the collection. My Elementalist is wearing it in one of her gearsets below. Dipped my toe into doing Strike Missions for the first time, which was a bit mixed. Pros: most of them have been pretty easy with a full group, they're quick and the loot is good. Cons: a couple of them are pretty damn unforgiving if you either fuck up the mechanics in some way or if the group is just not packing the necessary stuff like good healer(s). Already got some cool skins from them, though! And they drop a ton of the Bjora Marches map currency which can then be used among other things to buy map currencies from Living World Season 4 maps (need a ton of these for the Skyscale...). But now it's Halloween, so I've just been doing extra spoopy things like running in circles around in the labyrinth killing golems made out of candy to farm gold. And dancing in the middle of the town square for the amusement of a burning pumpkin man. FASHION WARS: spoilered because a ton of pictures, full gallery separately here: imgur.com/a/wvCoC4JNecromancer: She just got a different color scheme for her Reaper gear. Probably going back to the all black look eventually, but this is nice for now Guardian: Thief: Mesmer: Got a new Greatsword skin that I thought fit in nicely, unlocked that back slot skin during the previous festival and thought they all fit together nicely with his Chronomancer gear when dyed white (or "icing", for this particular shade). AND, I found out there's a MONOCLE in the game, just easily available on the TP for a pittance. Goes perfectly with what I have always wanted him to look like. Ranger: Updated her chestpiece for the power gear set. So far the only ascended chest armor I have, and I thought it went nicely with her overall aesthetic once dyed. Also redid her condition gear look after I unlocked the Houndskin mantle while I was grinding in Draconis Mons for the ascended back piece. Revenant: He only has one gear set for now, since I don't have the Renegade specialization completely unlocked yet. That one will probably use the Revenant armor pieces that you can unlock quite easily after maxing out all the base class skills. For the Herald gear I just went with a vague idea of "viking legionnaire and/or knight in service of/channeling the spirit of a lawful good dragon". Got lucky with a guaranteed weapon unlock for the hammer skin. Elementalist:

I finished the Tell a Demon Demo. It reads as mysterious and dark with some lore kernals in there. But I find jumping from the POV of three protagonists, some of which may kill each other, too disconnected to enjoy. So I'll pass on it, but maybe folks who like VNs which aren't super focused on smooching, they would like it because it is certainly not poorly written. I just prefer to de stress by smooching digital people and not worry so much about voices in my head or death.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. I reached Rathir and completed most of the quests there. It was odd that some quests required reading and analyzing (or at least memorizing) information (~5) and others just running to the marker and slaughtering everything (~100). Screenshots:

More Control - the Alan Wake DLC.
This is...both good and bad?
They've added an Arena type mode, where you battle hordes of Hiss (and fittingly built it in to an old arcade gaming machine found in the Oldest House). I like that there is more exploration than in the base game (so far, at least).
I do not like having to carry an industrial spot light with me everywhere Jesse goes in order to burn away thick, oozy shadows.
And I really don't like the big demon thing that is chasing Jesse.

Been getting back into Fallout 4 after a break of not really playing anything. Just started up Nuka World, pretty interesting so far

Akash: Path of the Five soooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I giggled a lot. There weren't any obvious plot holes. I don't know exactly how the choosing your boyfriend things works, but I was pretty pleased with how playful and easily flustered Ignatious was. Additionally, I thought the Elementals were being racist against the humans, but the humans were being just as racist- Everyone sucks, and there was good reason to be afraid of them. Ignatious was hot, I totally would have liked more smooching scenes and they already give you 1 regular and three romance. In fact, it was the "regular" scene of them together that kinda sold Ignatious to me. There we were hiding from a mob and he just couldn't take his eyes off you and I was like, mmm, I want to keep looking at you too. That's enough of a connection for me to commit to a route, the best kinda reason I dont know if the other guys are different on their own routes, but Rowan continued to come off as pretty empty headed. And Daniel, the DLC route, was obviously a DLC character. You can smile at him the first time you meet him, flirt with him the second time you meet him and then- he is absolutely in love with you and wants you to elope. I was tempted merely for the whole "Unite two peoples with one Union" trope idea and romance, but he just came off written as such a Rich Daddy's kid wannabe-hero child. PC's refusal of his grand love confession was exactly what I viewed it as; dude, at best this is infatuation, at worst a strong case of lust for a very bored man child. Go home- I'm not leaving my people for someone I barely know. It's so nice when the PC says logical sentences that I agree with so wholeheartedly. Although I seriously wonder at the game- I felt mid romance route with Ignatious, it seriously would have let me leave him after making out the day before to run away with the human dude? I guess they did their best to make a DLC route work. Oh. And bummer, I think the game forces you to become the element of your chosen lover? I didnt make a save so I could test the theory, because it had already asked me what element I wanted to be (I chose wind. Flying. Duh) only for it to auto pick Fire. But it did ask last second if I knew what I wanted to be, and I said yes (thinking it would call back to my previous in game choice). When I guess "No" would have let me pick? and "yes" let the game pick based off your chosen boyfriend? is how I'm guessing it works. ANYWAY. I'm going to enjoy this several more times. It's pretty art work, it's really amazing voice acting. I was even sitting there listening to the NPCs talk. That's huge, I never do that. The romance banter for Ignacious really made me think the writers knew how to write well. So. ya. Recommend, but I definitely must mention it is an absolute romance game with a background of political issues, not the other way around.

Pokemon Sword and Shield's second DLC - The Crown Tundra - launched today and even before I started playing I managed to spoil myself on few things with YouTube thumbnails alone. Oh well, not like it didn't happen with previous DLC I completed Pokedex in both Sword and Shield (I wasn't missing much and trading for missing Pokemon took me less that 30 minutes), then moved to first play Sword. I brought my best bud out of storage box exile, so it got way too happy. It looks like it's ready to go all "mwahahahaha" on me. Of course I managed to get lost, go completely wrong way and accidentally trigger side quest cutscene. Not that I mind, there was quite amusing moment with my character interrupting intense fight. "Why do you have to call no...." "...w. Oh." "Hi." Aside from that, not much done, will continue getting lost adventure tomorrow.
