Hustle Cat
What! I am so In-Character upset! Why TF would everyone not mention me apparently agreeing to be cursed into being a cat in my off hours while we were hanging out on the first day? Why TF would Graves curse me into being a cat when all I was looking for was a job?
I will keep playing this game, but if I will grade it harshly if it makes me auto forgive Graves as not having done a inhuman awful evil thing for tricking this MC. I want every chance to be as rude to him as possible. Argh, I'm so in character mad.
I am annoyed that running away as I turn into a cat so I can have some time to cool off as I come to terms with the curse ends the game. just- ergh. I've literally played cursed characters before and still not been so angry at the person that cursed me as this maniac NPC.
Edit add:
And then it wouldn't load my saved game. I had to speed click through the whole start because it didnt have a auto skip feature. And I'm still irritated I was cursed and that the rest of the characters are telling me to get over it, even though they were tricked too (except for Reese. ) Aaaaand the character is just too chill about this. I dont know if I can play this. I'm not even the one cursed into being a darn cat and I seem to be more upset by this than the protaganist.

In Madden:
Me playing the Falcons in the Super Bowl:
And I did beat them 59-34 so it still worked out.
Edelman who had been not really that effective of late, still good, did go off and caught ten passes for 137 yards and 2 TDs. Ryder had five catches and a touchdown. White had 8 catches and a touchdown. Cooks had 5 catches and a touchdown. Michel rushed for over one hundred yards with 2 TDs on 29 carries and White also joined in with a rushing TD.
It was actually an exhilerating game at the end of the day. The final score did not live up to the billing of it but it was quite tense all the way up to the fourth quarter and they would just not leave it alone. I scored 21 points in the fourth which is what made it so lopsided but I think they had it down to like 4 points in the fourth. So much I felt compelled to go for it on fourth down and goal to give me a greater cushion rather then taking the field goal (the White TD). And well it was just wild. Perhaps one of the more interesting plays they scored, again with like seven seconds left and the first play was to Edelman who was then given a face mask which put me on the Falcons 38 yard line, a 55 yard field goal, lined up for a field goal which would not quite hit in my estimation so I want to it, a toss to Cooks and he was stopped just three yards short. It was fun.

Just a White Dwarf, no biggie.
This is well past the half way point.
Where? To Proxima Centauri.
You'd expect a bigger station at such a middle of nowhere spot...
But let it be known that I have made it to Hutton Orbital. The biggest middle of nowhere in the entire galaxy.
The trip from Alpha Centauri to Proxima Centauri is 0.21 lightyears. It took me an hour and thirty minutes.

dazk Skipped most of the sidequests. Something about the DLC area just had me permanently annoyed, so had pretty much zero patience for anything. Had the same thing at the Nora lands in the beginning so figure I'm just dreading winter something fierce. Did the Waterlogged dam this morning and was not a fan, but not like I was being fair either. Figure I might enjoy it more when the threat of winter passes. Tittus Yep on pc. Not having that much problem with combat, just amused that Optimus Prime is being a nuisance. So figure I'll stick it out for now, but keep it in mind when the eventual teeth kicking starts. Definitely wont complete all the S links this run, just too rubbish with time management. And think the club S links are locked between runs as well? Currently got Youske, Chie, Yukiko and the Dojimas at max levels. Trying to get Rise up too, since her buffs are way to handy. Then figure I'll also try the basketball guy. Not too keen on the drama girl but probably should try for her as well. Am starting to like the devil nurse, so that's a bit tempting. Not sure if I have the attention span for a second run, but the other S links do look mighty tempting. ---- As for what done did today. Persona 4. So much Persona 4. Wrapped up midterm tests before ending the session. Highlights were getting curb stomped by Hulk Hogan, Yukiko playing the saxophone and getting a cute sticker from Kanji. Oh and Nanako. Nanako is always a highlight.

2 of the links are really important: Marie and another one that's a huge spoiler. Maxing the latter is a prerequisite to unlock the true ending.

Only played a few hours in Blood&Wine yesterday but did quite a bit.
Found the unicorn and golden fish clues rather quickly (no dilly-dallying for once) then met up with the duchess to put them together with the one she literally commandeered. Found the right location but too late, as "the Beast" had already killed Sir Milton de Payrac-Payran. So off Geralt chased him to an abandoned warehouse. Now, playing on easy mode I was able to get Detlaff's health down to almost nothing rather quickly and, but for cutscene plot armor, would have easily killed him and saved the day right then and there. Alas, Detlaff got in what should have been a killing blow but was stopped by Geralt's old friend Regis, recently back from wet smear on the wall-dom. Detlaff fogged off and Regis soon followed suit, but not before Geralt agreed to meet him later at the local cemetery.
Before heading out, Geralt explored the city a bit, did some shopping, played some gwent (he really must find the source of these strange Skellige cards - everyone is town is playing with them!). He was also stopped by a messenger boy who delivered a letter from Yennefer, about a professor in the region doing research on witcher mutations. Geralt decided it would be worth looking into. If he was going to have to fight a higher vampire, for that is what Detlaff was, he would need every advantage he could get.
Geralt tracked down the professor's lab, the entrance to which was underwater and behind a portal. Oh joy. Someone else was also exploring the place, a thief maybe? Geralt only found traces of their presence, but no other person and no recently deceased despite all the traps laid about the place. In the end, he found the professor's research and was able to create some sort of mutagenic potion to enhance his witcher abilities (Not really, since this is NG+ and I already have access to all but one of them. Probably not the smartest thing to do on one's own, though. I mean, what if he got stuck in that contraption?! ).
Once back on dry land, Geralt headed to Corvo Bianco, the vineyard Duchess Anna Henrietta had given him as down payment for his services in hunting down the Beast. The bodies of the men killed by the bruxa were gone and the place filled with workers instead. He met the newly appointed majordomo, Barnabas-Basil aka BB, and went on a tour of the grounds (in the daylight this time! ) while learning a bit of history about the estate. Geralt agreed the house and grounds needed some work so splurged for a general renovation on the house, as well as a grindstone for the yard. Gotta keeps those weapons sharp! Next up will be an armorer table and converting one of the outbuildings into a stable for Roach.
Back to business, Geralt went off to meet Regis at the cemetery. They reminisced about old times and caught each other up on what they'd been doing before getting down to the real issue: what to do about Detlaff? Regis insisted there must be a good reason for the murders but Geralt was skeptical. Still, with nothing else to go on, he agreed to Regis' plan of trying to find out more by using the hand he'd confiscated and making yet another potion called "Resonance," which would allow them to get inside Detlaff's head and experience what happened just prior to and after killing victim #3. Geralt's first task would be to locate a spotted wight, a supposedly extinct creature yet one the local crows told Regis was still around, living in an abandoned home said to be cursed. (Indy voice: Curses. Why does it always have to be curses?)
First though, he wanted to investigate some ruins where he was hoping to find Grandmaster Wolf School schematics. A local armorer, hoping to prove his skill as a Grandmaster smith, set him on the path. He found the ruins and was able to unlock the magically sealed door, but didn't get any farther than that.

Probably not the smartest thing to do on one's own, though. I mean, what if he got stuck in that contraption?! Funny thing about that contraption. You have to remove all your gear before you can get in. But the game doesn't check to see if you have no gear on, it only checks that you took it off. I went in there with no gloves on and couldn't get in the machine because it never saw me remove my gloves. I had to go all the way out and find somewhere to buy some gloves, just so I could go back in and remove them on prompt.

SWTOR
I'm on my way to legendary player, only one class story left - soldier. Sadly that is the one, that interests me the least. I'm not a fan of military based stories. But I'll march through(pun intended).
With my Shadow lady I started Knights of the Eternal Throne and was put off by having to control a big war Droid. That thing is even clunkier than the Mako.

After spending way too much time playing Dynamax Adventures in Pokemon Sword, I decided to take my Shield girl through The Crown Tundra DLC as well. While changing my outfit I discovered that at some point I aquired knit sweater and now I refuse to take it off. There are two instances of "you pick one of the two Pokemon" in DLC. This time I picked the opposites of Sword choices, to have everything between both games. After finishing legendary stuff, Galarian Star Tournament was held and there was an attempt at not being awkward. Keword: attempt. Now back to Dynamax Adventures. I also played demo of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. I can't wait to play full game. With a story where you know you lose... Well.

Just finished up the Peril on Gorgon dlc for the Outer Worlds. While I enjoyed it for the most part, it also used one of my least favorite methods of delivering story elements..exposition and backstory delivered by reading emails. At least with audio logs you can keep moving and do any backtracking instead of just repeatedly pausing for 5-10 minutes to read through it all.

Tittus Ah yes "Marie", we've dismissed that name. Well, it'll be yet another reason to do a second run at least. ---- What done did today: Persona 4. Got the Special Lady achivo since I didn't connect "This is an important moment yo" with romance. I see friend mournfully crying, I hug, or well, do something... Oh well, there is no Special Lad achivo so not like I was saving myself for anybody. And Rise is getting pretty attractive with her upgraded weakness detection, occasional healing/buffing and keeping my Mini-Map updated with loot and baddies. Storywise I've gone to Heaven without dying and kept demolished by Love and Peace. So ended up grinding for quite a while, since they have a pretty long cutscene before combat, which is super cool during the first and second try, but by the fifth it's kinda loosing it's oomph, ya know. But on the other hand did finally upgrade my weapons and armor. You gather bunch of stuff in the dungeons and sell it to a weapon smith and he gets ideas occasionally to make something new and cool. So had been holding off from selling some stuff for some stupid reason, then sold it all today and I swear he coughed up 20 new items. And plenty of cash money, so win win. But boy oh boy was the counting of the items long. So there is a time limit before each boss, usually quite generous, but this one really stepped outta line so it felt like it could be dicey. So grinded to level 60, found out which persona would be handy and then returned to Peace and Love crushed them into the ground. I think visually it's been one of my favorite bosses. The little doves during the Almighty attack, followed by itty bitty peace signs. And that dopey sleepy look. So cute. And the area is also so cute and a lovely little callback. Granted it can burn in the vilest pits of hell if a certain character doesn't make it. But for now, it was super cute.

Playing Fallout 4, this time with no mods. None, zip, nada.
I've managed to find some half-decent armor, so I'm no longer dying in one hit. Now it takes two.
Eat your heart out Raider scumbags.
So I find a Vault-Tec lunchbox, so I'm like "Ooh, a goodie!" expecting something like an Aluminum Can or maybe a Purified Water.
It's another Vault-Tec lunchbox.
"Well, that's different." ... Like those asdf movies: "I got you a pie." "Ooh, what flavor?" "PIE flavor!" ***sweet guitar riff***

- Hustle Cat
- Absolute Alchemical Potion
- Demonheart
- Long Live the Queen
- Earthshine (Its a $1 !)
1. Hustle Cat: I'm not as irritated, but the premise of being cursed into being a cat when I get off work by my boss and not warned against it by my would be coworkers and romance interests... combined with a protag that default sort of just "gets over it" has simply ruined it for me. I'll be asking for a refund. 2. Absolute Alchemical Potion: was a super cute story. I think I need my protags to have something they honestly excel at for me to like them even if it comes with an edge of arrogance. I totally failed at getting a romance and simply became close friends with them all. Even though I got a hug from Glem, a kiss from Sitri, and some squish-capades with Gestalt. Out of character, I probably like Glem most. But In Character, it seems a bit unhealthy to fall in love with a golem you created yourself to serve you. I've demo'd Demonheart before and liked it okay. The sale price just tipped me over into committing towards it finally. Dunno about the last two at all yet. but it helped they were cheap and that Steam is very giving straightforward about it's refunds.

Fair, though you underestimate how much an 18 y/o can get over when they need a job, but don't have post-secondary education or several years of experience. ---- Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. Completed the Legend of Dead Kel DLC and got myself a castle. The story felt even more linear, than in the main game, and I was even more over-powered for this content - most battles included only me activating "Relentless Assault" (provides resistance to interruptions) and gently clicking LMB, while blood and coins were falling from the opponents. Screenshots: My pet brownie. It did not follow me into battles, just stayed at the keep and provided passive bonuses. Dead Kel defeated.

Mass Effect 2
Really enjoying Miranda and Shepard as a 2/1 Renegade/Paragon Infiltrator. They're both pretty ruthless and resourceful and loyal to a fault, but are complete opposites in every other respect. She's always so poised and categorical and focused like a laser, while he's brusque and casual and keeps prodding and probing at her just to see if there's a real woman in there somewhere.
And while she looks exactly like an Australian actress and supermodel transplanted into a sci-fi setting, he looks like a rough-hewn, natural-born, unshaven dude who grew up tough and then got his face blown half to pieces, only to have it glued back together with duct tape.
Almost can't wait for the 'genetic mutt' moment.
Also, I'd completely forgotten how much of a mother-hen the Illusive Man is in this game. "Oh, Shepard, are you sure you want to go forward with the mission? Are you absolutely sure everybody on your team is in the right headspace? There won't be any pee-breaks, you know. Maybe do the rounds one more time and ask if everybody's ready and have already been to the toilet? Seriously, we can't have any distractions! Go ask if anybody needs help packing!"
I love these characters and most of their loyalty missions, I really do, but the entire framing device of gathering the greatest warriors and specialists in the galaxy for a suicide mission and then having to help them resolve their various unfinished business, personal issues and identity crises before they're actually ready to perform is pretty silly and pathetic.
And it doesn't help that the guy bankrolling the operation keeps stalling because a few tens of thousands of human lives saved or lost isn't as important to the mission as Jacob's potentially unresolved daddy issues.
If he wasn't babying Shepard and the team so much, it'd be easier to think of the loyalty system as Shepard earning his squamate's' undying respect and inspiring them to rise to the challenge and work better and harder than they ever have before, above and beyond their normal limits, rather than as Shepard having helped them cross off everything on their grocery lists just so they can fight properly.

As one review put it, ME3's ending even poisons the nostalgia. Now all that is left is a vague memory of how I used to feel about those two. Well, maybe a little more, but only because I wrote a fanfic epilogue set several hundred years after the events.

Mass Effect 2 Really enjoying Miranda and Shepard as a 2/1 Renegade/Paragon Infiltrator. Go ask if anybody needs help packing!" I love these characters and most of their loyalty missions, I really do, but the entire framing device of gathering the greatest warriors and specialists in the galaxy for a suicide mission and then having to help them resolve their various unfinished business, personal issues and identity crises before they're actually ready to perform is pretty silly and pathetic. Yeah last thin gyou need is the Illusicve man bugging you about it busy playing ME1 myself atm. Still early in the game as I'm doing Feros right now .Bu tplaying it again and thinking abou tthe potential remaster makes me think this game is just fin eit doesn't need a remaster

Some more Control; Jesse helped a prisoner get his head back. Literally. How he was talking without it, I don't know and don't want to know. Then she zoomed around taking down the Hiss-corrupted members of Arish's ranger squad and gathering their pouches for Arish. The story behind the pouches sounds really cool. The she tried - again - to complete the combat wave simulation in the old arcade style gaming machine and failed, multiple times. To the point where the game decided I was ineligible to play it further due to incompetence and bounced me out to Windows. I just sat there for a moment thinking; 'but I killed Hiss-corrupted Tommasi and his goon squad... So I messed around in AC Odyssey for a bit, mostly curb-stomping bandits in Argolis. Good times.

Ah....it's 2010 and Miranda and Shepard are my "one couple against the rest of the world" dream team. Then came ME3. As one review put it, ME3's ending even poisons the nostalgia. Now all that is left is a vague memory of how I used to feel about those two. Well, maybe a little more, but only because I wrote a fanfic epilogue set several hundred years after the events. Yup, they're lovely. The ending of ME3 didn't strike me nearly as hard as it did many others, so my nostalgia has luckily remained intact. And my current plan is for Shep to pseudo-cheat on Liara with Miranda, and then break up with her in the beginning of 3 and watch her die on the robot ninja freak's blade for maximum heartbreak and drama. So a happy ending wouldn't have been in the cards in any case. At least, that's the plan. I just landed on Illum to do Miranda's loyalty mission, collect Thane and Samara and do the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC. All while keeping an eye on the suicide mission guide and plotting how to give Jacob the most painful death possible, while hopefully getting rid of Zaeed, Kasumi and Legion as well while I'm at it, plus fifty percent of the crew. Get some names on that memorial wall in the third game. What happened in your fanfic epilogue?
