Definitely crying's doing. It always helps Going to have to test it tomorrow when I go toe to fin with his big bro the Sea Guardian. Thanks It's one of the monsters you can use in Persona 4. Found it fitting. It looks cool and bad ass at the same time.

Code Vein Demo it would probably require me to map keys to make it work. Between my laziness and it looking like a JRPG instead of a VN just made me to turn it off. I would not recommend to play Code Vein for the story, but its gameplay and customization (from PC's appearance to abilities) are quite nice, though it might feel too easy because of the NPC companions. They are reasonably capable.
---- Resolutiion. Completed the game with the alternative ending. It was a cyberpunk/post-apocalyptic setting with story happening inside the protagonist's mind. The controls were rebindable, the visual design (pixel art) was consistent and easy-to-read, the soundtrack was good, though none of the tracks had lyrics. The lore and story were interesting.
Also the artbook was available for free.

Resolutiion. I am attempting a no- less-kills playthrough, which may or may not lead to another ending or just straight away to the second final boss. So far I've slaughtered only a bunch of water zombies who were physically blocking my way (I could not kite them away) and started (but have not finished) an optional boss battle. One memory/main boss collected, two to go.

DemonheartYou are a poor woman who gets a chance at a clerk job at the local witch's shop. You are (probably unenthusiastically) betrothed to some obvious-not-gonna-happen local guard. Your father is a drunk and I guess there isn't anything particularly wrong with your mom. You get the job (Im not sure you can fail at that, if you do, it's probably a fail state.) Time lapse while various people annoy you and your boss becomes more reclusive. Then the plot hook happens. you are "blessed" with the curse of becoming Immortal to everything but aging. Let the -everybody wants to rape you- vibes begin. Like, whoa. I don't know if this is laying it on thick or just how this world works. Your ex is obnoxiously over protective, your jailor becomes an immediate stalker, which you would think would be impossible considering he has a legitimate reason to be with you 24/7. The old man wants something, teh friend of your ex wants something. The archer is pulling off his best Golem 'my precious' impression but refreshingly, has no urge to murder or bang you. Oh ya, and the voice in your head tells you to kill people and worship him. Everyone is telling you NOT to trust anyone else. It makes for a chaotic first playthrough where I pretty much trust no one. Romance Options: - The voice inside your head that tells you to kill people. Hes got a nice voice and is obviously lonely though.
- Your rape-y jailor that tells you to shut up often
- A submissive? definitely indecisive lesbian demon worshipper with grey morals who seems to fall with you on the spot for some reason. Shes, uh...nice.
The only person, at best, that may have a legit reason to fall for you, is the voice inside your head. At least he's with you, talking to you, about his life and yours, and doesn't constantly insult you, for most of the game. The Jailor seems to mostly be in lust for you and confused it for love, and the lesbian is at best, star struck, at worst, has an attachment disorder.
There are 4 personality expressions and you get to express yourself pretty well. When the Jailor was being particularly rapey, I was allowed to knee him in the balls and scratch his face like a NORMAL person.
The drawback of getting to express youself pretty well is it has no affect on anything but a few lines maybe towards the end. I discovered this by playing a tactful good person my first run and then playing a defiant evil person my second run. Everyone loved me just the same and the events played out the same. ALSO, the romances seem to mostly exist in a vaccuum. I oddly sort of romanced Mr Rapey out of morbid curiosity about how someone I'd physically assaulted multiple times would confess his love for me. Ignored the lesbian and allied with the voice in my head.
Then I played a second time, evil defiant, and picked every sultry "have sex with me now" line possible. I got an extra smooch from mr Rapey, smooched the voice in my head, smooched the lesbian and the guys sort of seem vaguely aware of the lesbian "threat" but completely ignore each other. Which, I buy from Mr Rapey (he doesn't know about the voice in your head.) but Voice in your Head DEFINTELY knows about Mr Rapey and some how says nothing specific on the matter of the rapiness or even the profession of absurd love I could offer MR Rapey on this play through.
I think that the plot was good, I think that the voice acting was acceptable, the CGs were oddly sub par compared to the sprites, but the writer was obviously going for flawed characters to romance. Voice in my head's trauma spoke to my heart a bit, but he ends up, imo, too irredeemable. So that really just leaves the oddly adoring lesbian and all I can do is shrug.
I don't regret my time, but glad I bought on a sale.

Hunting track records with the 787B at Mount panorama, AUT, Bathurst. I wish I had made a video, because the sound of the car is AMAZING, just like the original. Rotary engines rule. It also has beastly amounts of aerodynamic downforce, it sucks itself onto the road. Mazda 787B 1992 Here is the sound of the original if anyone's interested:

Aragami: Nightfall. I completed the DLC in one night. Then replayed it for achievements (no detection/no kills). Nightfall is a prequel to the main game, so while the ending was predictable, it still was quite enjoyable to play. Screenshots:

So...Pokémon Y
restarted my playthrough the other day because there were a few things I didn't like on how I went about things.
renamed my trainer to Minerva (shocker! no but seriously, Minerva is my go to name for lots of characters) but did once again pick Froakie as my starter
rest of the pokémon I've caught so far, most (except charmander) were named after Greco-Roman deities starter: Froakie (male)> Frogadier: Poseidonbrave, likes to fight - Fletching (female) > Fletchinder : Themiscalm, sturdy body - Pansear (male) : Hephaestushasty, impetuous and silly - Pikachu (male) : Zeus
adamant, sturdy body - Litleo (female) : Hestiacalm, quick to flee - Flabébé (female): Rheaimpish, somewhat vain - Charmander (male) > Charmeleon : Empyreanimpish, likes to thrash about - Furfrou (female) : Demeterquirky, alert to sounds - Skiddo (female) : Heradocile, somewhat of a clown - Honedge (female) : Nike (no not the shoes ...Nike is a victory goddess) mild, likes to relax - Ralts (female) : Hecatequiet, likes to run - Snorlax (male) : Morpheusrash, takes plenty of siestas current team exists of: Frogadier, Charmeleon, Pikachu, Skiddo, Ralts and Fletchinder I do aim on changing out my Pikachu for a different pokémon once I've found a different electric type...mostly because unlike most pokémon, they insisted on having Pikachu use his/her iconic voice (aka of them repeating their name) and its starting to annoy me
currently on my way to the second gym
also...Callem buddy...stop it with the 'I'm your rival and I'll win from you' stick...game plot demands I'm the champion
--- Incoming ramblings... Speaking of... I could really do with a pokémon game that has a free-roaming/sand box setting...kinda like Skyrim but with pokémon like...you start out as a kid with a starter (which you can pick from one of the current gens) from that world's tree named professor and then go into the world along the way you grow older, and come across the plot of this world's 'evil' organization which you can decide to stop...or (plot twist) join with other lines of work would of course include coördinator, breeder, researcher...you name it
like prof Sycamore says to the trainer in Pokémon X/Y "be the best trainer you can be" ...to which he adds something along the lines of "and whatever that means to you" for example, local egghead Trevor (love ya Trevs) wants to complete the pokédex, badass Tierno (I love that kid, his face reminds me of Vanillite though...probably why he has one on his shirt ) wants to have a dance team with pokémon...which I find cool
'cause canonically, there's no way my trainer would actually go around fighting hordes of pokémon and trainers to get badges...she'd just travel the world and ask pokémon to join her team (kinda like anime James from Team Rocket...that guy is too nice to be in Team Rocket...same goes for Jessie and Meowth btw. ,at least imo.). Then travel some more 'Course frequently write/mail to her family and check in with the professor

Minerva is my go to name for lots of characters) Neat! my go to name is Elara. That was the name of my first City Elf Warden, and it's become routine since to always name my PC that one first play through.
MArvel's Avengers I got to hang out with another person from work gaming. I had covid back in April and still have antibodies, and he's on the vaccination trial (and we're both mask wearing hand washing medical people) so we chose to do the evening mask free. It was freeing! and weird! and relaxing! And the Hulk is super slow with health bar issues. Man. I like Black Widow stuff but felt like she needed a dagger melee weapon sort of thing. I think Thor and Black Widow fighting was my favorite. I had problems controlling Khan's momentumand kept throwing her off very high heights to her death. And overall, it didn't suck as bad as I thought it would considering my usual preference for games.

I blame Harry Potter for my love of the name, though of course my Minerva doesn't look like the badass lady that's Minerva McGonnagall mine's still plenty badass though, and in most universes I've used her in so far...she's a magic user
I wanted to reflect that in my pokémon universe for her as well, by picking Fennekin as her starter (since it's a fire-psychic type) but I just like Charmander more and didn't want to go with two fire-starters...pun intended. So now I just pick up any pokémon I like...speaking of which, I need a dog pokémon (in my 'canon' world for my character she owns a dog as her familiar)

1) My first thought was Minerva aka Roman goddess, but McGonagall is equally awesome inspiration 2) Pity Kalos has such poor selection of doggo Pokemon 1) it's a bit of both really, when I created my character my mind went all 'what's a nice name that has to do with wisdom?' So went on a few name sites and Minerva popped in I was like, that'll work...and it's stuck every since (plus I can shorten it to Mina, which is also the nickname I used during pokémon Y for her). I'd at first thought of making it the name for my canon Warden as well, but Raelyn (my avatar) kinda stole that role. So today I thought...know what? Let's grab that name for my DA4 character
But yeah, McGonagall is one of my Harry Potter faves...she and Luna
2) there's houndour/houndoom...but its a Pokémon X exclusive and I only own Pokémon Y ...could Absol be counted as a dog? oh and Furfrou...but I don't like it (Rockruff is cuter...but sadly I don't own Pokémon Sun/Moon either), I know some other can be caught in the safari zone but I hardly ever use it, plus it's endgame content as well Yeah it's surprising wher we get our inspirations for names from. For example the Shepard I'm running with atm on the ME trilogy I've called Kamala. I named her after Ms Marvel from the Avengers game Kamala Khan My first mage Warden was named Lisanna, after a character from an anime I was watching at the time, later she got her name change to Minerva
I've watched some parts of the Avenger game with Kamala, she seems nice

I'd say Absol count as doggo, more or less, but I'm pretty certain it's late in the game. Pity you can't get Growlithe or Lillypup in XY (at least not without trading), these are quality doggo Pokemon (and I'm saying that with all my love for Absol, it's great Pokemon, but poor doggo Pokemon). And yeah, whenever I create my team, I rarely take post-game stuff into consideration (unless they're legendaries). You wouldn't even be able to bring Rockruff to XY. You can move Pokemon generations forward, can't backwards.

There's also Poochyena, but it leaves doggo territory with its evolution. You can move Pokemon generations forward, can't backwards. yeah, Manectric is also considered a dog but I'm not to fond of it's design also, Absol can be caught at Route 8 in Pokémon Y which is outside the next town, so I'm pretty close to catching one I just gotta decide on male or female 'canonically' the dog for my Minerva is named Cyrus...kinda as a pun towards Sirius Black in fact in one universe I'm using her, she has this friend/familiar named Sirius, who was known as Cyrus in a past life (he died and became a guardian spirit or whatever, very dramatic and all that) they're not romantically involved though, contrary to what everyone around them believes because they're so close ...I'm babbling again, ignore this part I have a Zygarde, Celebi, Mew and three Regi's (plus a few extra's) in my pokémon bank...but I don't use those either, the Regi's are from (I believe) that DreamRadar thing which you could use to export them to Pokémon Black2/White2, but I sold my Black2 game because I didn't like it...(I love the shared experience thing they do in X&Y ) I always forget about Manectric But yeah, I'm not fan of its design either. Huh, that's quicker than I remember. Maybe I'm confusing it with ORAS? Fortunately Absol is 50/50 split, so you shouldn't have much problem no matter which gender you settle on. I'd offer firing up my Alpha Sapphire and seeing if I don't have any good doggo for trade, but since you'd need to breed it to get you as original trainer and avoid obedience issues, as well as Absol being so close, it might actually be too time consuming. And feel free to babble, I like to read those I have nothing in Bank, since I moved everything to HOME once it became available, but in HOME... *stares at 3.5k Pokemon stored there* Ummmm.... Even with all my undying love for Gen V, I'll be first to admit it can be difficult and leveling can be tedious, so I get it. I never blame people when they don't like it (as long as it's not "har, har, designers were lazy with Pokemon design!" kind of argument ). Also, B/W > B2/W2.

Also, B/W > B2/W2.hmm...HOME is just on the Switch I take it? I really want to get a Switch at some point as well...mostly for FE:3H...but I have a lot of things on my wish list so I'm patient
as for ramblings...those might be better suited to notes since most don't tend to be game related
Let's see...I've played the demo's for ORAS and Sun&Moon, but I kinda hate how basically each pokémon story is the same thing over and over get a pokémon, get thrown out of the house by mom because it's a good 'character building exercise' ...gee, thanks mom
battle creatures to make them your 'friend', pit them against each other (often their own species) in battles uncover (or get thrown into) an evil plot by some randomly named organization...save the world from said plot, become champion variations may include befriending/catching a legendary for story purposes
aaand...repeat, hence my idea/dream for a sandbox game in this setting, that'd be fun
I've tried playing the Mystery Dungeon / Pokémon Ranger spin-offs but could never really get into them

Finished up my Outer worlds run. Really enjoyed the Gorgon dlc, thought it was a solid length and the story had a darker tone then a lot of the previous planets and such. Also had some pretty cool new gear, especially enjoyed the homing rocket launcher that was seriously op if you had maxed out science. They also added an ending slide about the dlc into the original ending which was a nice touch. Excited to see what they do for the second dlc in 2021.
Next game is either going to be legion or Valhalla I think.
