OathbreakerIs a visual novel you play in your browser. Which means I have to play where there is WIFI, but otherwise... really liking it. The music is good, the protagonist is great. Has a history with baggage similar to probably what Geralt of Rivia carries with him, without any of the memory problems. Romance Options, in order of appearance: - Alwenn, longtime friend and very out lesbian who has thus far been in an unrequited love with you. I declined the smooches, but the friendship is just as keen and lovely.
- King
Alistair I mean, Raelen. He was adorkable at first, but then he turned all hardened Alistair on me. Now I respect him. - Lea, a dwarven spymaster. She's fun, but definitely no chemistry there from my POV. Unless flirting brings it out of her more.
- Argandea. He's very straight forward, and someone else won my affections on top of him throwing himself at a hot kitty girl or he may have had a chance
- Virion. The enemies to lovers trope done oh so well, delicious, nibbles, swoon.
I was honestly tempted by Raelen. But my responsibility as his psuedo advisor, and knowing I was keeping secrets from him, and just what it would look like politically for him to be dating me. And then there was that moment where he lost his temper and corrected me into calling him "your majesty" and I just decided to go elsewhere.
Definite recommend. I dunno how to even support a browser based game, I guess find her patreon? I've never gotten into that bisnatch.

Oathbreaker Oh my. Tears. It gave me the tears. A good sacrifice story always gives me the tears. Good music, I like the art, the politics are reasonable and it made me cry. Need more. Guess I'll go figure out how to Patreon.

Oathbreaker II
how could it get better in the sequel?! My chaotic neutral warlock elf boyfriend sobbed like a little baby when he realized the love of his life wasn't dead after all. And just ADORBS daddy protective over the kid he didn't know he had. And she has his ears and hair color but my eyes and it's so so ROMANTIC. This is all just wonderful. Taking video clips along the way of all this love and snuggles. I mean, I want to have half elf babies with Zevran AND Fenris and I finally got my wish I do kinda wonder how I would have gotten preggers if I'd gone with no romance or a lesbian romance though in Season one. Divine intervention baby? Oh ya, I also started a new run of Ebon Light. I dunno why, but I just don't mind rereading some bits and I'm back and forth on whether my canon run will be with Haron or Vadeyn.

Hitman 2 - MiamiI'm attempting a SASO on Master difficulty, and I've figured out a way to take out both targets in one shot, I just need to not be detected by the entire building. EASY! So I manage to lure the scientists in the head office where I want them via fuse-box, and the drop is low enough that it only knocks them out. I'm able to use my collection of tools as lures for the nearby guards and leave them all in an unconscious pile in a corner room that no one goes to. I snag the computer dongle from the desk and sabotage the satellite dish to get Robert Knox to the roof. Luckily, I was able to lure his bodyguard away with another wrench and add him to the "knockout pile", so I manage to get him... Then a security guard catches me for trespassing, ruining my SASO run at the last minute. So I reload the strategic save and made sure to knock out that set of guards too. ------------- Fallout 4I'm traveling with Paladin Danse trying to help a Brotherhood scribe on a tech mission. It's in a Gunner-infested area, full of turrets and missile launchers, so a lady wearing a sweater and coveralls isn't going to last long. So I'm going in sniper-style in an attempt to make the area less treacherous, and I manage to get inside the building. Only for the scribe to go Rambo and try to stop laser-fire with her face. I fail the mission, so I have to go back to Proctor Quinlan to report on my failure. Paladin Danse stops me and asks if I have a minute, he wants to tell me something. Everything is clear, so I say "Sure, go ahead". Paladin Danse proceeds to tell me how he joined the Brotherhood and why, only for the familiar sound of rotors to be heard approaching. As well as signature beeping sound. So while Danse and I are having a little heart-to-heart as brothers-in-arms, Super Mutant Suiciders and Brotherhood Knights are engaged in nuclear warfare. I'm frantically skipping the dialogue, thinking "Oh man, it's the sleeping bags all over again!" Only for the vertibird to hit one of the mini-nukes, setting off all the other mini-nukes. The vertibird goes down in a blaze of glory, and all the Super Mutants are blown to bits. "Well, Knight, I'm glad we had this talk." ... "Not a problem, Danse."

Nioh. I've got through a frozen temple and a rainy temple, defeating a snow woman (yuki-onna) and a two-tailed spirit cat (nekomata). Screenshots: Threatened a demon door. The door opened. Also defeated this guy. It was touching, though I'd be lying if I said that he will be missed. And this is how I discovered his insta-kill grab.

Finished my first run of Yakuza Like a Dragon. It was a blast. Tentatively starting my second round, this time using english dub instead of japanese and playing on legend difficulty instead of normal. So far it's going alright, but I'm only at chapter 1, so teeth kicking has yet to commence. Was also like 6 levels below the recommendation, so figure chapter 2 will show how screwed I really am. Hehe. But I'll burn that bridge when I get to it.

OAthbreaker II Wow, just wow. Maybe it's because King Raelan reminds me of Alistair, but I seriously have some fondness for him during this reunion. The awkward emotion of reconnecting with someone you truly respected after having seeing them dead and buried is just so well written. When's the last time I got this attached to a non romance NPC... Maybe Cinderella Phenomenon? The only drawback so far is it is giving me way too many points of view. - Lea is on a revenge mission (and her own set of bad guys I get to see talking amongst themselves as well)
- Alwenn, my best friend and Walinad courtmage is dealing with intrigue and drama during her visit to the MAgistracy. Dont even ask me how to say that word, I think I auto default call it Mage-ocracy in my head.
- Raelan is trying to keep his kingdom of Walinad together by making a diplomatic mission
- To the Pechka Queen and her supportive sister and
- Partially hampered by the Aldwen Empress who is angry about the death of her cousin I caused last game...
- who is currently unknowingly being aggravated by the Vail Cult infiltrating her preisthood...
- Andragea has discovered a BIG problem in his home country
- The exiled Aldwen Warlocks did not do well when Virion came to join...
- Myself, my child, and the new optional love interest on our journey to try to connect to all the above allies
- and we instead had to deal with Queen Marianna and Prince Khuzuni. The former is the arranged political marriage Raelan went through with last game, as well as the ally he picked up in Khell (also last game)
So how many is that? 11 Points of View?
As I, the player, am not playing any of these side characters (allies OR enemies) the only times I get to make a choice is when my character comes up during her rotation in the story. And my choices seem to mostly just be romantic.
Good story though, even if it doesn't make as good an RPG.

In Madden.
Back to playing the Denver Broncos and that was quite an exhilerating couple of games which both required some last minute heroics.
First up was against the Houston Texans and well it was a pretty back and forth game throughout the entire thing with a couple of interceptions thrown in for good measure but Sharpe and Myers both had over 100 yards and Myers at least had 2 TDs. Felton had couple of neat rushes as he did one of those things where he was able to rush around a defensive end and then make it out of bounds. Then at the 9 yard line there was just wide open expanse of field and he rushed right up for it for an all important score. All important because the Texans would just not go away and even took the lead with about 2 minutes left. Well ran a few plays and then hit Myers on a slant in the endzone for the game winning score with 24 seconds yet.
Next game against the Rams and this might be the funnest game I have ever played certainly ranks amongst them. Once again much like the previous game couldn't get anything going on the ground game like at all but Felton just went off in grand fashion for like 5 touch downs, over 600 yards. Sharpe, Smith and I think De Greene all had over 100 yards receiving. Though I do believe Degreen did fumble the ball twice in this one too which provided some drama because the Rams went ahead late so I started off the quarter down but that really didn't matter as it turned out for once. Myers hadn't had a catch until the fourth quarter despite all those insane passing stats and his first one only went for 3 yards. But with like 4 minutes left in the game was down by 7 50-43 so I went down the field and scored a game tying touchdown, this one to Sharpe. And then despite giving them like just over a minute they gave the ball to me back with 40 seconds left, about mid field so I hit Myers for a 19 yard reception over the middle which set up a perfect opportunity for a field goal which gave me the win despite them doing their BS 'let me call a time out and throw off your timing thing', Broncos win 53-50.

A bit more progress over the weekend. Headed to Tesham Mutna with Regis. Creeeepy place, full of ancient vampire history. Apparently they liked to farm humans. Found a foreboding set of armor to display in the house later. Laid some smelly bait to lure necrophages, then locked Regis in a cage and let the blood fly. Regis went bloodlusty bananas and Geralt was able to get what they needed for the mixture. A few hours later, Regis was back to normal but too weak to do anything so Geralt finished the potion and then drank up.
He saw Detlaff meeting de la Croix, befriending him, then killing him and hating himself for doing so. A bootblack made dual appearances in the vision so Regis and Geralt decided finding him would be the next step.
First though, Geralt headed back to Tesham Mutna, to the nearby nursery he'd read about in notes scattered about the troubled vineyards. There he found proof the late Count Crespi had sabotaged both estates before his untimely demise at the hands, er, claws, of the beast. He headed back to tell both owners and the ducal representative what he'd found, only to then be hired to solve even more problems on the vineyard everyone was fighting over. Ah well, fairly easy money at least.
With that resolved he went back to Corvo Bianco the check on the upgrades. The stable was rebuilt so Roach now had a cozy place to sleep, and his own bed was delivered and set up in the master bedroom. The guest room was also finished, so if Ciri ever decided to turn up unannounced she would have a place of her own to enjoy. He hung a painting of Aretuza in her room, hoping it would engender fond memories for her. In his room he put up one of White Orchard and another of a ship, while in the dining area went one of child princess Ciri wearing a sour face and a fabulous pink gown. Next to the kitchen, between weapon racks, he placed one of Iris von Everec's portraits. He was currently using her namesake weapon but soon he would place it on one of those racks in her honor as well. Any more decorating would have to wait for another day. He headed off to sleep in his new comfy bed.

Nioh. The story picked up the pace, the game auto-allied the PC with one of the local warlords*, who wanted to bring peace to the land by murdering the other warlord and his army. If I knew the history of this period a bit better, I'd probably care more, but all of them are equally hard to empathize with. So, 3 more bosses are down, a warrior, a ninja and a sniper. The sniper took the longest, because his special move was removing the target lock from him and the boss room was on fire. Screenshots: *I've checked Wikipedia, the portrayal of this historical figure seems reasonably accurate.

Yakuza Like a Dragon. So I see why level 70+ is recommended for legend mode. Since the pittance of exp you get from battles aint levelling you up anytime soon, but your enemies just keep getting better. Still chapter 2 was not as terrible as I was expecting, but still a hassle. I weep for when I get for the longer dungeons. Still got through the chapters dungeon with one respawn (and couple of reloads). Tactic was mostly just chowing down on my hoarded healing items and spamming the Dropkick move, while seeing so many MISS signs on my side. Which is funny since I almost never saw it in the first playthrough and now I'm seeing at least two or three each battle. I cry every time.
So I was very amused that the chapters boss taunt line included "You gonna cry?" Yes, boss man, I'm gonna. But hey, on the bright side it turns out the bigger battle combat lines are dubbed in English. Random fodder battles are still in Japanese though, but it's nice to finally understand the trash talk being thrown around in the big battles.
Speaking of the dub, I really like Nick Ogata's voice actor, it's a different feel from the Japanese one, but still so delightfully smug. Main characters voice is growing on me, much like the character itself did in my first run, so that's nice. Namba's voice is all gravelly, which I guess fits his person but the Japanese one was just delightful. Also was easier to hear when he was speaking since now my party consists of three gravelly voiced men. So that's a mood. And Adachi's voice is pretty decent but the Japanese one just had something...extra to it.
Either way have so far made it to chapter 4 and am still having a blast, even if it feels like I'm constantly digging myself deeper into the depths of difficulty. So that's fun.

So, Oathbreaker II is a work in progress, so I can't continue playing my first route until the next chapter comes out.
Ebon Light
Enjoyed another round. I was chewing on who would be cannon, and Haron won. He's just so adoring in a passionate way, I can't turn my back on him. Gotta smooch him. I think I'm done with the game for now. I've clicked on a lot of the options, and tried almost all the ways of resolving the main events.
Sleepy times.

One more Madden game to report in. Just in a way because I also forgot to mention something which was rather neat in the Rams game. This one was against the Ravens and instead of needing every single inch of this particular stat...I demolished them. 63-10. It was fun though because I scored exactly 21 points in te first, second, and fourth quarters. Which is quite impressive in its own right. And I also did not punt...though I did turn the ball over on downs. But I had over 600 yards of total offense, like 4 rushing TDs and 5 passing ones. And Felton had two gutsy gutsy runs. But speaking of Felton but for the second game in a row for me had a perfect QB rating of 158.3. Against both the Rams and Ravens. And he needed every single inch of those 158.3 in tat come back if you'll remember.

Yakuza Like a Dragon I have realized the extent of my foolishness in this attempt. Or well I tried the next main story dungeon and got one-hit-KO'd by a level 13 mook, who had like 5 other mooks waiting to smack me around. So like even if I'd manage to perfect guard each hit, I would not make it. And they kinda just chuckled at my heavy hitting moves so...That's a mood. Now I could try and grind up a level. Which would take around a year since I get like 20xp per encounter and I need around 100k to level up so...And I'm not even doing so hot in those encounters either...
So, gonna shelve that run for now. Did instead return to my Post ending save and did some grinding there, since there is a dungeon in the last chapter which has three encounters with some juicy xp bombs who give around 100k exp in an encounter. More with XP enhancing gear. So getting from level 64 to 75 was a breeze.
Then started a new game plus with that save and just speed ran through the first two chapters. The difference was amazing. The difficulty will probably rack up again, but if I can make it to Chapter 5 I think I have a chance. Maybe. It's possible.

Sims 4
Made use of the Black Friday deals and bought a few expansion packs
After that I've been fixing some in-game 'lore' for evidently EA neglected to make lasting impressions between Sims downloaded a file from YouTuber Pleasantsims which already fixes the 'lore' for the base game so I just had to do the extra parts for the expansions and game packs I have that her file doesn't cover (she only focuses on the more mundane expansions, which kinda leaves out people like me who enjoy their sims to be wacky with colorful character and personality such as vampires and spell-casters) so for example, in the game pack 'Vampires' there's two main families, the Vatore siblings (consisting of Lilith and Caleb) and Nosferatu look-a-like Vladislaus Straud according to their bio the two families don't exactly like each other, but when you start up the families for the first time you find out they don't even know each other so using some cheats and a few cheat mods I was able to give them that relationship of actively disliking one another
I also added another vampire family in that neighborhood and gave them some relations with the people around them as well (it's a small neighborhood so everyone knows each other)
Next I'm going to make a fix to the Cats&Dogs neighborhood and the Realm of Magic neighborhood as well the later doesn't exactly require any lore fixes...seeing as they do have adequate relations among each other...but I have a few fun ideas I want to try out

Got it for 50 cents. It's not terrible but it isnt amazing. It starts off as so innocent that I could almost doze off from boredom, but I looked at some of the screen shots and now I'm really wondering how this sparkly virgin ends up half naked in a hot spring with a love interest.
Elisa the Innkeeper
The premise is you dont play one character, you play all of them. I'm already after the Tsundere Knight who claims he's never loved a woman. Saw a screenshot where he's banging angrily on her door and I'm like OOOO grumpy face wants me I see. So long as it's, ya know, not too boundary crossing. I wish I could play a romance VN where I can sleep with multiple people. Ahh, the good ol' days of DAO and DA2 where you sleep with half your followers. Le sigh.

So, I've "finished" (still has 1 more DLC to come out) Nioh 2.
Finally got around to playing and beating Shadow of the Colossus, I both love and hate how utterly lonely it feels. Currently going through Time Attack, then I'll do a playthrough on Hard.
My cousin also got Spider-man: Miles Morales and God of War so I'm going through both of those games currently. Almost done with God of War, just trying to get the extra stuff since I'm pretty close to the finale.
Also been doing the Towers in Mortal Kombat 11, getting used to Mileena so that I can use her once I get online back.

I downloaded the Jedi fallen order game. Will start playing in the next few days.
Should I download Outer Worlds and/or Greedfall? I ask because both are on sale on psn.

I ended my play-through of Trails of Cold Steel III, and hell... Things really gone mad at the end. And of course in the true Falcom fashion the game ended in a massive cliffhanger. Well - I guess I have to wait to the first half of 2021, when the PC version of Trails of Cold Steel IV is released. Only then I will see how this huge saga (at least the Liberl, Crossbell and Erebonian part of it) will end. Of course there is another part underway that will form a bridge between that last saga and the new story in the Calvard republic, but that's not very soon I guess. For now Ys IX: Monstrum Nox will be the next Falcom game that will be released for the west (and I am surely going to play it).
Anyway - In the mean time I picked up some more JRPG stuff, and plan to play the Sword Art Online games from the first (Hollow Fragment) to the latest (Alicization Lycoris). So - Five games to go then.
I also have a nice time with Atelier Ryza - Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout, and will cetrainly play Ryza 2 when it will be released. On the visual novel front I am doing fine with Flowers -Le Volume sur Automne- and Sakura No Mori Dreamers, but those are, of course, not really games...

I downloaded the Jedi fallen order game. Will start playing in the next few days. Should I download Outer Worlds and/or Greedfall? I ask because both are on sale on psn. I recommend both of them. I liked the story in The Outer Worlds (played a melee build, which mixed poorly with the first-person view) and the combat in GreedFall (the story becomes a bit too linear by the end, but it was still quite enjoyable). Firearms were OP, so using them on lower difficulties breaks the balance. --- Nioh. For some reason I have to fight bosses from the previous missions. Two down (the lightning dog and the spider-woman), two to go (the ship boss and the vampire boss).

Yakuza Like a Dragon The dungeon the first legend attempt stopped at was cleared with some difficulty. Needed 2 rocket launchers, 1 respawn and 1 throwing knife to get through, plus most of my best moves and some healing stuff. So it went WAY better than expected.
So have made it to Chapter 5. Yuss! And remembered that there is a super long dungeon in this one. Oh nu. But doing a fair bit better than last time. Until the game decides I'm not and beats me to pulp. But that's just life.
Getting a wee bit burned out though, so putting it on ice for a few days.
Picked up Persona 4 again and that opening cutscene is still a banger. Mostly spent the session going through the Secret Lab dungeon. Which was pretty nice since I remember having trouble with it the first run, but now it's smooth like butter. Having buttered up the fox so he heals for cheap was also real nice. And he was in a good mood today as well, even if he kept getting stuck alone in a room with Kanji and his adoration. Kinda miffed about the music though. It kinda lacks any oomph, especially after the earlier dungeons soundtrack. Had to pop in there for a few moments to get some items and that jam is still so good.
Also saw some new assist animations since Kanji and Yukiko are benched this run. Kanji's move is pretty handy, but oh my gosh Yukiko's shenanigans are so cute. Yosuke is about to get benched as well, so hoping I'll see his assists soon.
Got some story stuff up next in the next session, so that's fun. Doubly because I've kinda forgotten how things go after this point and most of the S-links I've got left I haven't seen yet. So that's fun.

Elisa: The Innkeeper
It took me a little over two hours to play this game once through. It's more like a comedy than anything serious. Absolute roller coaster of garbage people. Even Elisa trends a bit off her rocker. She's supposedly running a reputable Inn but her customers are mostly men of means who vie for her attention. Everyone is jealous of everyone, tossing gifts at her to buy her affections as well as show off to the other men. And she encourages it; for the ego boost and the free gifts, but mostly the ego boost.
The Prince has only a title, no money, and honestly, no class. The Merchant has money and manners, if no class. The Knight was a coward when it really came down to it; hypocrite on all counts. The Waiter, your childhood friend, considers you to already be his and mostly veers between pushy and blushy.
That's really the problem with all of them. Their attraction to you means they have a right of possessing you and they are huge babies about you not falling into their arms after giving you gifts and attention. Well, the Waiter gives you nothing, maybe more loyal than a usual employee. Since Elisa is herself, not a very nice person, who is very aware of seducing the Knight merely for the fun of it, I guess she deserves the sort of suitors she attracted.
I'll grade this VN as Interesting. I paid $2.5 for it, so I guess I roughly got my $1/hour goal.
