More Cyberpunk 2077.
This time for 16 hours straight.
DANG!!! This game is huge.
I can't say much without spoilers, but my experience this far has been preem. I've met and interacted with Judy Alvarez, and I think we're friends now.
There's like, three main story missions in my log, and I can't help but wonder how doing them in the order I'm doing them is affecting how they turn out.
I've found and purchased a few Legendary items, like a fancy suit jacket and a pistol.
Pistols are my favorite weapons, followed by Shotguns (military) and Rifles (burst-shot).
My only real gripe is how skills are locked behind attributes. I.E. if Cool is only at 8, Stealth and Cold Blood cannot improve past 8; this means that any stealth-related actions provide no EXP after hitting their corresponding attribute score.
On the plus-side, perk selection is based solely on attribute score.
I have about six perks in Athletics, even though my skill level for such is only 2. But since my Body score is at 7, I can access more than the baseline perks.
One could see it as having me try different approaches to maximize EXP gain.

I feel you. I would have enjoyed the ending more if I wasn't constantly worried that the game could crash at any moment and I'd have to redo that battle all over again Don't think I had any crashes (or at least too few to remember) so the thought didn't cross my mind. But that would've been way worse. Was just worried that the "Just a bit longer" would wind up into "Welp it's 5am now...".
And also got a bit worried during the touching encouragement scenes that I'd have to do more combat and how awkward it would be to lose after all that. Like everyone rooting for you and you just die. And then having to run through all that again... --- As for what done today. Ended up trying out Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore. Wasn't sure that it was my thing because it looked like a rhythm game (which I do like but am way too rubbish at) but turns out it wasn't and was totally my thing.
Not too far into it, but so far, so fun and not a single Sea Guardian in sight. (And it can stay that way thankyouverymuch).
Only complaint so far is that there is no english dub so no idea what they're talking about during combat. Hopefully just about what they should have for dinner.

Echoes of the Fey: Last Sacrament
Well. That was beautiful and then quickly sad.
It took me a bit to figure out where I was going wrong on my path to romancing Heremon. I replayed that game an entire time and failed. Studying the guide, I figured out where I went wrong
So I finally get my hot elf man in bed. It was great. Only for him to remind the character that she was incapable of monogamy. And they auto default decided to end things before they really got started.

Echoes of the Fey: The Last Sacrament When I finished it the first time, I said that I like it’s mini game, hated the voice actor of the PC, and felt that the art was inconsistent in its aesthetic. after a 4th time playing it... - The mini game got old. It was hard written into the narrative and there were some light to moderate consequences to the story if you didn't win. So it wasn't like you could ignore it and just auto lose to get it over with.
- The voice actor is only super annoying when she's trying to be cheery. When she was actually serious or angry, I kinda liked it.
- The art didn't stop being inconsistent, but I guess my eyes got used to it. Steampunk american for the PC and French with wigs for the nobility why not?
Additionally, I would have to say a HUGE flaw of this episodic game where I got the implication you carve your story out slowly is that the continuity is terrible. Epi 0, there was no romance but none of the decisions I made in epi 0 mattered. I assume a cannon was chosen for the 0.5 little story they wrote to bridge the gap to episode 1. The character is hard written to be an ethical slut, and I use the term correctly not pejoratively So the romances, even if they seemed to be going somewhere, are hardwired to end in some way. I romanced Eduardo in episode 1, and in episode 2 I never saw him or heard of him again, even if you chose the events that would literally have kept him town. Like your neighbor. The game does ask you about the decisions you made in episode 1, but they don't seem to have much affect. Simion, Luka, Heremon (people in epi 1 and 2) treat PC the same regardless of I said I slutted it up, didn't slut it up, argued with them all the time, got along with them fine, or trusted/distrusted them. And even in an ending where I tried to start a relationship with Heremon, we break it off. And what I thought was a cool default poly option with Kat that occured because you werent with anyone romantically, it happens every time no matter what. so... what does that even say about my romantic choices, if I am cannon open to a threeway with Kat and her new wife? A visual novel should also just have a "skip to unseen text" option every time. Between having to manually skip AND play the mini game, I am unsure of how much of the 23.5 hours spent on this game according to steam was actually enjoying the story vs pressing shift, loading screens, and a turn based mini game that sometimes lagged. I recommend playing this game exactly twice.

I bought Grand Theft Auto IV a while ago, partially because Rockstar doesn't seem inclined to release any new single-player content for GTA V, and partially because I haven't played GTA IV in years. (The last time I played it was on the PS3, back when I split my attention between Playstation and PC instead of exclusively playing on the latter. Which is why I had to buy a copy even though I've already played it.)
A few days ago, I unlocked the Francis McReary mission where he sends you to assassinate a guy holed up in an apartment. I put it off until I'd unlocked Alderney, since I wanted to try this mission with a rocket launcher, and I figured all the spawn points would be in Alderney. Then I looked up where the spawn points actually were... and it turns out I could have gotten that rocket launcher a while ago. Boy, hindsight!
Anyway, I got started on that mission. Francis gave me a sniper rifle (even though I already had one from the time I had to cover his brother during a drug deal gone wrong) and headed to the rooftop sniper perch... and of course, I switched from the sniper rifle to the rocket launcher.
According to the cutscene showing where the target was, he was sitting right next to the window watching TV. The target wasn't directly in Niko's line of fire from the sniper perch, probably because aforesaid target understood that someone might try to snipe him. So the game requires you to find some way to get him out of the chair. The intended solutions are to either call his phone (said phone is in Niko's line of fire, and the cutscene camera lingers on his phone number for maybe a whole second) or to shoot out the satellite dish on the side of his apartment building (his TV is also positioned in front of the window, and apparently if the signal goes out he gets up to investigate.)
For a guy who knows he's in danger of being sniped, this guy isn't taking all that many precautions.
Back in 2008, when I was playing this mission for the first time? I shot his TV screen, and then shot him while he stood up and tried to work out what was going on.
And of course, my plan this time was to shoot a rocket through the window of his apartment. I figured the most realistic scenario was that the window would break, the rocket would go through it and explode on the floor, and the guy sitting in the apartment would die right where he was sitting. I didn't really think that would happen, but I'm pretty sure it's what physics would mandate if this was real life.
As for what I thought would happen, I figured that it was more likely that the rocket would explode when it hit the window, and that it would either break the window or not break the window. If the window broke, I figured the blast would kill my target. If it didn't, I figured he'd probably survive and hunker down in the safety of his apartment, and I'd fail the mission and have to retry it.
Wanna know what I wasn't expecting?
I was not expecting this guy to respond to a bomb going off on the walls of his bolthole by fleeing said bolthole.
The game prompted me to chase him down and end him now that he'd (quite foolishly) fled his shelter. Instead, I decided to hold my position in the sniper's nest, figuring he'd probably flee through the front door.
I pointed my rocket launcher at said front door, waited for him to run through it, and sent a rocket at him.
Assassination complete.

Immortals Fenyx Rising Since I upgraded my weapons, skills and armor quite a bit, I decided to push main story... and got to point of no return (which I assume is last mission). I noped out for now, since I planned to finish a couple more challanges and side stuff I remember unlocking. I know there's NG+, so I decided to check what transfers, and it turns out pretty much all collectibles do. Well, I guess I'll start NG+ soon. In a meantime, I caught shiny halla deer (along a few other unique mounts)

CindersWell. I made a lot of choices. I don't fully understand what effect they had. I ended up marrying the prince I'd literally talked to for less than 5 minutes. And ruled the kingdom with an icy cold fist. There was very little romance, honestly. It was mostly about the relationships Cinders had with her sisters and Stepmother. I think I'd rather the sister, Sophia, have married the prince. and I think I would have preferred to marry the Guardsman. But as a romantic visual novel, it's pretty light on the romance. Not even a kiss. And I found it a bit... racially uncomfortable that the only black character in the game was painted up like an african witch doctor. All that said, the art was gorgeous. probably my favorite yet. And the collectibles showing up in the Menu Screen reminded me of Cinderella Phenomenon, it's a nice touch.

I bought Baldurs Gate 3 yesterday. I'm a big BG fan and played the other parts a lot, so this was a nobrainer for me. I've made a Tiefling warlock, a follower of the Great Old Ones, and am currently at the Grove. I have too many companions already. So one, a mage, said he would join later. I hope so, would happily swapped him for Shadowheart. I'm contemplating making a cleric myself, well, we will see. I will probably start a lot of characters and then see, whom to play.

So been eyeing Astral Chain, Zelda Breath of the Wild and Immortals Fenyx Rising and been wondering about a few things if any of you know.
Do they run nice with Handheld mode? Figure the console wont burst in flames but saw some memes about that and motion control?
Also font size, it's it decently sized like Animal Crossing or do I need to squint like with Fire Emblem Three Heroes Houses.
And is Zelda newbie friendly? As in I just know that Zelda is the girl. And they like triangles. And that's it. ----- As for what done today yesterday.
More Tokyo Mirage. The bosses are mean and I'm stupid.
So got stuck on Chapters 2 boss for way longer than I should've had, since the ui is so tiny and I didn't realize there is a small icon that's next to the attack name which tells what type it is, so I got it in my head that his attack type was axe so had a person who was resistant to that. Was also annoyed that half of my peeps were weak to axes and it was unfair and stuff.
Then at the third attempt I figure to look at the icon when he attacks and the attack was sword based. And the axe-resistant one was the only one weak to sword...So I'd basically been handing the boss combos on a platter and dared to by huffy about it... So fourth time was the charm. But that led me to checking out the EXP dungeon and learning stuff about it and also learning how it can screw you over if you stay to long and ignore the games repeated warning that "Yo you are way to weak for this encounter. No seriously they'll steamroll you! Are you super super super sure about it? You can't run away you know!! Fine. It's your funeral..." and cue a group of 5 all 20 levels above me, when I'm struggling with a bloke just 2 lvls above me...Suffice to say I lost and I lost hard.
But otherwise it was tons fun. Did a bunch of side missions, unlocked some avenues to get new outfits to play dress up and had like 3 music videos play, which is just fantastic. Next dungeon looks really neat, just crossing fingers the traps aren't too evil.

Curious Crow BotW was my first LoZ game and I didn't get lost in lore, so yeah. Definitely newbie friendly. Can't speak about Astral Chain, but both BotW and Immortals Fenyx Rising don't require motion control. It's there and it's useful for archery, but not required. I didn't even have motion control enabled in IFR at first As for subtitles... I don't know how big they're in AC, so can't compare, but I'd say they're a bit bigger than in FE:TH. Immortals even adjusts the inventory view between handheld and stationary, to better fit smaller screen.

Oh before i forget in my absence i also played and finished this game ( it wasn't that hard ... just keep reading ) don't get me wrong it's a good game and i had fun. But yes there is that but i payed 60 euros for this game that i finished in one night so that was a little over four hours and to me that's way to short for a game nowadays.

In-between Cyberpunk 2077 sessions, I played a bit of GW2.
My Norn Renegade is now a member of the Priory and I crafted an ascended weather breather for her too. Cost me about 10 gold to make, so I did the dailies to recoup the cost (it rewards 2g per day).
Once the 15th hit, I'm going to do some of the Wintersday stuff, because I want something that is a collection reward that only happens during that seasonal event. It exist since 2014 and I never bothered with it.

More Cyberpunk 2077!
I hit max Street-Cred, so I got an achievement for that.
Every single Side Job leads to more Gigs, so it's definitely that old Shrek meme regarding quests. But I'm completely okay with that; it either changes my loadout due to finding something better or puts me in a position to approach my "current" goal differently if I wish.
I am continually impressed by the overall quest design, not just in flow but in map layout as well.
I'm still an even mix of Attributes, because the kind of build/perks I use/want fall under each of them. So I alternate between Solo, Netrunner, and Techie "styles". So while most openings are available, I'll see an option that would've been possible had I focused on Technical over Cool, or Body over Reflex.
A few non-spoiler tips: Don't disassemble iconic items you like. You can upgrade them to keep them level-relevant, but the game requires the original item.
I still miss the Dying Night pistol.
It can be worth keeping a perk point (gold) "in storage" just in case you're just one attribute point (blue) from a perk you REALLY want.
Perk points are fairly forthcoming from leveling skills, and you get one per level-up on top of that. Attribute points are only one per level-up, so they're rarer.
Don't worry about your clothing affecting dialogue. One quest had me acting as a bit of a therapist, and walking up armored in a netrunner-suit and tac-vest garnered the same reaction as my Corpo suit.

Finished my first pt of Immortals Fenyx Rising and started NG+ right away (on normal again, maybe I'll bump to hard later), this time with a bit more customized Fenyx. I barely started, and I'm already noticing certain things that make sense now that I finished the game. Before they were just completely random comments.

Yakuza Like a Dragon So got through chapter 5 final fight with surprisingly little hassle. Sure we grinded a bit before trying it out this time and were (moderately) sober (in game), but still. Good job us. Then there was the endless dungeon at the start of Chapter 6. So made it to around half way through the first level (of oh so many) before I got about one shot (was like at 90% health) and I decided to admit that I just wasn't having any fun. Sure it's awesome to pull through fights at the skin of my teeth. But there is so much worse (but oh so lovely) things to come, which was a nightmare on normal (which was pretty easy for the most part), so like, what is the term for 3x nightmare? I don't know and I don't wanna.
So shelving legend run for now.
So figured, hey? why not give Witcher 3 another go? So found my old Witcher 2 saves, tricked the game into thinking it was installed and started the game. And the opening cutscene was much better. Mostly because I realized it had a really cool crow, but also maybe she had some reason to be there? I have no idea, but that one is ok for now. Next cutscene was not. I'll get there eventually. But no. Bath is steaming, you should dry out quicker when putting your feet out. But realized Geralt did not crack that scorpion like a nutcracker cracks a nut with his bum. Not sure if I'm glad or disappointed. Was going to the stand on the balcony ledge but leaped off instead, which made me chuckle. Then saw Ciri again and I'm not ready. Not yet. But curious if anyone knows how old she is in the first cutscene you see her? Like serious question, I'm rubbish at seeing ages and I genuinely want to know. Either way, not ready for the game now. But one day. One day I will love it. And it will wish I didn't.
Then opened up Yakuza Like a Dragon again and shifted the difficulty down to hard. Except it was too easy at that point, but figure it might be more fun to try a hard run from the level when I defeated the game the first time. So that is the next plan, moving goalposts and all. Then I'll look at Witcher 3 again. Maybe learn Gwent as well. It will be fun.

Like serious question, I'm rubbish at seeing ages and I genuinely want to know. Well that first cut scene is a dream sequence of something that never happened. Yennefer was never at Kaer Morhen with Ciri. But from the Blood of Elves book, when Triss first saw Ciri at Kear Morhen, she guessed she was about twelve years old. (she had already started menstruating) Although she looks younger than that in the game to me. Maybe learn Gwent as well. It will be fun. Make sure you do.

I barely started, and I'm already noticing certain things that make sense now that I finished the game. Before they were just completely random comments. Nice thatt's kind of what I had in mind for min ewhen I play her

Seraphina's Crown
I liked it. It took politics and a murder mystery and actually made it engaging with the use of a mini game of high vs low numbers. Didn't love the PC being a crying lovesick mess out the gate, but luckily didn't have to deal with it much.
I dunno if I like the ending, though. It was kinda abrupt and I don't know that there can be a true happy ending.
Also, unless you continue the default romance at the end, there is no romance. But I've been a bit random with my picks lately, so perhaps it never advertized romance in the first place.

Parting ways with Night City so they can clean up bugs and hopefully improve on some of the groundwork. Lot's of potential, but not worth playing right now imo.

I recon you are talking about Guild Wars 2 i still do not understand myself that i did not buy that game. Because i played a lot of Guild Wars 1 and that was one of my favorite games back then. I was pretty good if i say so myself and helped a lot of people with missions etc. Back then the Ritualist and Necromancer were my favorite characters. Those pictures bring back memories with special armor you could get like that Obsidian Armor for my Ritualist it was not easy to get though. And i do remember those holiday events like Halloween and as you said Wintersday it was always a lot of fun with little games you could play. Pwoh i was really young back then.
