Origins and Oddysey. I don't have Valhalla at least not yet. I ma yget it later but tha tlargely depensd omn how well I get on with the first 2. I kno wthey're both quite big and long but I'm ready for that. Though now I'm on th e4th mission so I' mmoving on a bit with Halo. Either wqay I'm perpping fo rm yfirst run in with the Flood on this run. Not my favourite enemy due t otheir sheer numbers but st5il quiet a challenge Origins was pretty tough for me combat wise because of having to hold the shield with a separate key you may have to do some tricky key rebinding. I'm used t othings sometimes being trick yso I'm suer I'll manage plus withtha tgod cheat I discovered I can always us tha tif it gets too complicated.

BG3
I'm tackling the spider queen with my Tiefling warlock - it's one of the last quests open. The spiders arealyl beautiful in this game and the spider babies are downright cute. Too bad, they are so aggressive. I think, I need a few more tries against the queen, she is the hardest opponent, I've met so far. WHich is kind of surprising, because often in fantasy games, spiders are pushovers, designed to creep the players out a bit, but nothing more. This lady is mean business.
Parallel I've started a new playthrough with a rogue. I have decided to not use the halfling, because the halflings are really strangely proportioned in that game - I'm pretty sure, that this will change though. There is a lot of feedback about the halflings in the official forums. So meanwhile, I made a high elf thief called Mira Soral. She will be basically good with a mischieveous streak. I gave her deception to pass those checks for roleplaying reasons.

Currently playing a couple of my farms on Stardew after CA dropped the 1.5 PC content drop just before Christmas. Also started a new farm with the Beach Farm map added. It will be primarily a fish and livestock farm, with some crop farming (mostly tree crops). Will get back to BG3 soon. My current play through is on hold though, due to some of the new (and old) content not triggering in Camp. The last hotfix appeared to break a few things. Suspect that it will get fixed on the next patch in January. Tis the life in EA. Happy New Year...(in a couple days)!

Origins was pretty tough for me combat wise because of having to hold the shield with a separate key you may have to do some tricky key rebinding. Oh my goodness, the kb+m can't toggle shield? I feel your pain man. You can. The kb+m layout of Origins is weird by default. Worked fine for me once rebinded, but I always rebind because I don't use an actual keyboard. I use the discontinued Logitech G13. And I have no idea how I will game once mine break, because I can't play with a keyboard anymore. It's just not smooth and it triggers wrist/hand pain that almost forced me to abandon gaming 5-6 years ago.

Ladykiller in a Bind. Survived day #3 with 3 points of Suspicion and 38 votes. So far, so good. The VN has a unique conversation system where adding your opinion at every point is optional - in most cases it is possible (though, not advisable) just to listen silently.

And I have no idea how I will game once mine break, because I can't play with a keyboard anymore. It's just not smooth and it triggers wrist/hand pain that almost forced me to abandon gaming 5-6 years ago. Well I find mouse and keyboard easy to use for just abouit any game only game I tend to pla ywith a joypad is Fifa. Though if I struggle with Origins there is always this. www.pcgamesn.com/assassins-creed-origins/assassins-creed-origins-cheats-animus-control-panelThis tbh is why I mainly game on PC becvause even with a disability like mine if you struggle with games even on their lowest difficulty you can always find some sort of god cheat to help you get through. Even on games such as Tomb Raider and such as I have cheat trainers fo rto help m eget through thing slik ethe tougher combat encounters which I downloaded from this site. www.cheathappens.com/It's mainly a case of trying to get the cheat you want for the game you're trying to get through and like with Origins if I look hard enough I'm suer I'l find something equally useful for Oddysey too should I need it. I don't tend to look unless I' m having serious problem swith progression though because I do stil prefer to play games the way they're designed however if they do prove to be too hard due to things like my diasbility making me be a tad too slow or something then I don't mind changing the rules for awkward sections. For example I do use an easy kills cheat on ME2 to ge tme past that Geth cannon in fr4on tof Prometheus station during the Overlord DLC. Thankfully though it's the only time I need to cheat in that game, rest of the game as well as ME1 and 3 I can pretty muc hhandle without a problem. I do die from time t otime just as in any other game but I know I can get through.

BG3
I really like the game. I love, how much you can do, how different you can approach things. And I'm starting my own little zoo - I have a dog at camp, who was mourning his dead owner in the woods and I decided to adopt him, and now I have also adopted an owlbear cub that was captured by goblins. Wonder, if I can adopt something else. I really love the spider babies in the Whispering Depths, but they attack you on sight sadly, so no chance to use animal handling on them.

Luka was kind of fun, though. Or at least had his priorities straight - vengeance first, random dude second. Except by the time this choice is made, A. they've known each other for at least a month and B. Luca is told that his brother is an mentally gone blood bag and there is nothing anymore that can be done to save him. And even if he is told the name of his brother's kidnapper, there is nothing his weak human self is going to be able to do to that Vampire dude anyway. So he literally sells your humanity for a chance to go kill himself trying to kill the guy who essentially killed his brother. MC can object and Luca still does it. This is why I was like... you little shit. You absolutely deserve the fate you get on this end. And it soured his whole character for me. By the way, can you explain why an M/M romance gives you a character that looks so much like a woman? I find it confusing. I looked into your recommendation: - Analogue: A Hate Story, Doki Doki, Fading Hearts : Unless we're talking Blood+ story plot here, I never want to step foot into high school.
- Coming Out On Top: Neat. I'm not into big buff muscle-y men, but I'll give it a try later.
- DoraCone- tried it, didn't like it.
- Ladykiller in a Bind: bleh art and only women to sleep with.
- Loren: The Amazon Princess - its on my list and every time I think about buying it, I notice my hands already hurt :/
- Red Embrace: Hollywood: on my wishlist.
- Roll+ Heart: I tried to play this and it wouldn't work on my computer so I just skipped it.
Thinking about it, I believe I only seem to like modern time period storylines if they involve fantasy elements such as vampires etc.

My Vow to My Liege
I got bored after 2 hours and find chinese unpleasant to listen to. Seems like it would be a good manga, but not a branching narrative VN I appreciated.
Gods of Love Demo
I really like the art, but this modern form of speech and explained way of life are jarring with the artwork being a time when people lived in huts. Also, the romance goes WAY TOO FAST. Oh my gosh, you may just possibly be the first new god in 1000 years. And you're female. And that is the entire reason I'm interested in you. I want to prove to you why you should marry me and have TEH SEX.
Our Life Beginning and Always
I see people fan gushing about it. But I guess I just find it really weird to start as an 8 year old and make an attraction assessment about other 5-8 year olds to decide who I should be nice to so MC can date them as a 16+ year old when I am, myself, 33 years old. It just weirds me out.
With my refund I purchased:
Cardinal Cross, Pinewood Island, Solstice, Miraclr

I'm nearly finished with my firs tBG3 playthrough. I reached the end of EA, but decided to go back for some sidequests. And I want to tackle the spider cave - spiders and I ... let's just say, it's a problematic relationship. And you have to fight Shelob in this cave (not the real Shelob obviously, but a spider that size and power) - I tell you that, because it's not really a quest, you can do it or not, doesn't matter. Just something, you stumble across. There is some nice loot in there though.
I'm planning my next playthrough and made 3 new character, I want to play.
First is Lyra Asriel, wood elf cleric of Corellon Larethian (the elven god) - it's something of a premiere for me, because I'm an atheist in real life and not really fond of religion topics. But in DnD, it's not about believe - you know, that the gods exist, so I thought, it's a bit different. And COrellon stands for art, knowledge and magic, which I can get behind.
Then I have my rogue Siona - a lighfoot halfling. Isn't she the cutest?
And of course another Tiefling, because they are the best: Taena is a wizard
I will also play a ranger, but I haven't decided on a race yet. Maybe human. ANd I want to play a Githyanki to see, how Lae'zel reacts. But my Gith will be a bit nicer. Playing evil in this game so far is really stupid and I hate playing stupid.
Your halfling is really cute ! But I do admit that I absolutely love your Tiefling Taena ! Great characters overall ! Too bad I can't play that game on my old xbox !

By the way, can you explain why an M/M romance gives you a character that looks so much like a woman? I find it confusing. 1. I suppose, it is hard to let go of a goal, even if it is almost impossible to achieve. In this case, vengeance. Surely, Luka could become a badass vampire hunter. Eventually. Somehow.
2. I guess, it was the artist's (incorrect) idea of an average gay guy (in dating-sims the MC tends to look as average as possible in order to be "relatable").
I looked into your recommendation: - Analogue: A Hate Story, Doki Doki, Fading Hearts : Unless we're talking Blood+ story plot here, I never want to step foot into high school.

Thinking about it, I believe I only seem to like modern time period storylines if they involve fantasy elements such as vampires etc.
Analogue: A Hate Story is set in a sci-fi setting. The MC has to investigate an old space ship and 2 AIs can provide assistance. I can't tell much about DDLC without spoilers. Let's say that there are corpses. Fading Hearts has fantasy elements in it (time travel, magic, monsters), though I don't remember if they are optional or appear as a part of the main story. I'd say that the point of Ladykiller in a Bind is social manipulation (to maximize the votes received, while remaining undetected) and not sex. Though, the latter is unavoidable. But I like the writing - it is consistent, references gaming culture and generally self-aware. --- Divinity: Original Sin II. I think, I am close to the end of Act III. The Nameless Island went down in flames.

Taena will be my next playthrough after the rogue. I will have to redo her though, that hair mod sadly doesn't work anymore. The face and the tattoo are in the normal game, so I can keep both. The halfling looks great in the picture, but they don't animate well. Game designers always seem to have problems with smaller races, but I'm sure, Larian will rework the halflings, they get a lot of feedback from the players about it. And they do seem to listen to that.

After I don't know how many tries and 7+ hours grinding some materias, I finally beat the most motherfucker challenge of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. NEVER AGAIN.
The worst is knowing that there's no way they'll let you use the prize in the 2nd part.

Finished up Watch Dogs Legion. Story really didn't do anything for me, think that's mainly due to all recruits just being randos without really anything to them. And you don't really get to know the other non randos well enough to really care too much about them either. Felt like the game was mainly set up and structured for the multiplayer mode but that ended up getting delayed due to the wonders of 2020.

Crusader Kings 3 and GTA V were both on sale so I picked them up and put aside HZD for a bit. Will leave GTA until after I’m done with HZD, but decided to check out CK3.
I have made a huge mistake.
I have acquired the traits Hopelessly Obsessed and Unable To Sleep.
Send help. But only in the form of levies, some Jarl keeps invading.

Cardinal CrossAnders is alive! he crossed into the Fade and went so deep he entered a cyberpunk visual novel. Anyway, I hadn't known how much I'd come to hate Anders for the trauma he'd put me through, so it was surprising I actually find it difficult to be attracted to this digital boy purely on the similarity. But the other option is a violent sociopath that threw a tantrum, strangled me a little bit, then attempted to hack my brain while telling me he liked my crying and pain. His later excuse of being so worried about his sister that he was just taking out some anxiety through his violence on me is EH!! DENIED!! soooooooooooooo.... Guess I'm with the Anders lookalike for at least the first round. But really. WTF with all the violence towards women BY THE LOVE INTEREST in a romance game.

Cardinal CrossMAn, maybe I'm just getting more picky but... I went with the Anders look alike and then he goes and ticks me off later in the romance. So, MC is invited to a Gala of political shenanigans. It was a last minute plan, so she just kinda grabs the first dress she can see that may be appropriate.
so there she is, in her bedroom, where her lover walks in and she asks what he thinks.
he then goes into a long diatribe about how bad the dress is. because he's so fashion conscience and just wants to warn you.
then at the party, when people start mocking you for your dress just like Anders warned you, he steps in an implies that he thought it'd be funny to make you wear it to the party. --now, the whole goal of this is to make it be him that made the bad choice, and not you for being the lowly peasant who made a bad fashion choice. He "saved" you from their mockery. But it just made it sound like I'd then be a woman who would wear a dress at a man's discretion even if it made her look like a fool.
And baby, I ain't no fool. No more lovin' for you. So I ended the game single. That all said, mr psychopath was much cuter later on. I just couldn't let him be my first choice with how problematic the beginning was. I like that I could get laid and still end single. It was very lovely. everytime I got the option, I killed those who were an actual harm to myself. Seriously, NOT putting people who just tried to murder me free to do so again. Only 2 murder options that I saw. Edit add: took another hour, but I did another run. Of course, it needed a guide to get me to the Egon Happy Ending. I will give it this. The story itself is great. But the dialogue is used as irrelevant expression and affection gainers. I guess I just wanted more feedback. Maybe there is more, if I played a "make everyone hate me" run. I just didn't see much difference between run 1 and run 2 as the Skip function takes you to the narrative you haven't seen. Until the last 10% of the game there is very little difference. I guess I get it, it's hard to write tons of branching dialogue if the goal of the dialogue is to give you the same information no matter what you say. eh. It just seems like unvoiced visual novels are the best place to really explore branching dialogue as cheaply as you want. But at least with this writer, the sancity of the PLOT must supercede all else. It's an interesting balance that has been discussed in other parts of the board. Plot vs expression/freedom. And I hold Bioware up as a pedastal yet I know they do the same thing. You say something weird, they'll have one response line, and then go back to what they were going to say anyway. But they have the cost of voice acting and animation to deal with, which a visual novel just doesn't have. anyway. re: romances. I feel like Egon was the canon romance route. It had just too many heroic sparkles for it not to be. Even with all the right choices, he strangles you and tries to mind rape you, and I just find that super problematic in a Love Interest. MEH. I recommend it anyway though. time for some sleep.

But really. WTF with all the violence towards women BY THE LOVE INTEREST in a romance game. good thing we still have Oathbreaker's Virion eh? (I mean, him hurting you is at least justified because he's your (former)enemy )

Divinity: Original Sin II. The party made it to Arx and killed the Kraken with the Ornate Chest (the Chest has traveled with me from Fort Joy). If I could, I would name my most reliable weapon. --- About VNs. I'm looking for an originally English (not Japanese) VN with decent non-linear story (power fantasy/mystery, if nothing else), customizable or male PC (the former is preferable, as the writing tends to be better, when it has to fit for PC of any gender) and (optional) female LIs. Any recommendations?

As I sit on the scenic outlook, faint memories surface in my mind.
The first, more a still picture than a real memory, of my father and sister, as he puts me in a playpen and takes her away from the room. I had to be tiny at the time...
Another, of my tenth birthday. Receiving my Pip-Boy, and my sister giving me her teddy bear - so it would help me get through tough times, she said...
The next flash - sixteen years old. Standing in my father's office, asking him about the impending GOAT. As I walk out, she's sitting on the left, and I ask her if she also had to do the test. "That's how I got into Vault Engineer Training," she replies. I remember I aced the test. Mr. Brooch telling me I'll be a Pip-Boy Programmer - but I was having none of it. I took after my father, and he helped me change the results accordingly. The following day, I became an intern in the clinic. He told me our mother would be proud, with children like us.
And finally, something much more recent. This morning - was it even morning? I quickly check the Pip-Boy clock. It's four in the afternoon. This afternoon, then.
Amata, my old childhood friend and the Overseer's daughter, waking me up, panicking. My father had left the vault and left both his children behind. The guards are after us. Everything happened so quickly. I just picked up my most valuable possessions - a whole of one teddy bear, a baseball cap, an issue of Grognak, a bat and a BB gun - and started running.
I remember nothing, except a panic of my own. I found my sister behind a window in the Atrium, the door stuck. She was trapped, asked me to try and break the window with a baton I found. That's one powerless moment I'll remember for the rest of my life. Thank God she's an engineer, and quick on her wits.
And then, we left the Vault.
And some sons of bitches snuck up on us.
I rub the back of my head, where I got smacked by something so hard, it knocked me out through the Vault security helmet I was wearing. Something about... a slave collar - what the hell is a slave collar? Another panic sets in. Slave collar.
Thoughts are racing, trying to remember what else they said. Only having the one... and... Paradise Falls? Paradise Falls.
I bring up the map of the area on my Pip-Boy. It's only pre-war maps, but maybe... Bingo. I can hear my heart pounding out of control, as Paradise Falls is a pre-war shopping mall northwest of Washington DC. I quickly look around - that looks like the monuments they talked to us about in American history class!
And here I am. Above a town called Springvale. South of where Paradise Falls are supposed to be.
I leave the Pip-Boy screen to dim, load the pistol I got from Amata and stand up.
Bastards left me for dead, and they're going to regret it.
I'm coming, Amanda. I'm coming.

(I mean, him hurting you is at least justified because he's your (former)enemy ) I recall that MC did true battle in the open field with Virion. They were both warlocks with experience. He did not lure us into a locked room under pretense of colleagate conversation, start an argument, and then shove us against a wall while mind raping us and telling us he liked our pain and our crying face. MC has no mind raping capabilities and is only truly skilled with a gun. One is decidedly more honorable than the other, it just feels completely different. I guess because we have as much as we got with Virion, being evenly matched, we beat each other up. 😜
