So here we go. Gonna talk about stuff that feels a little....beneat me...but ey I do enjoy doing this. In Super Mario Odyssey My wife got a switch. This has given us the opportunity to play more games together, in theory anyways, and this is our first time doing it. So more time to do so. And I really was not having a good time because well this is not good co op since it feels super tacked on. Whoever is controlling Mario is the one playing the game and the one controlling cappy is kind of along for the ride. This is especially true when you go to 'possess' something with Cappy because all of a sudden you are possessing something...but only the Mario player has control from then on. So there was a lot of time when I was just sitting there doing noting while she was actually solving things. On the bright side I really liked it when I was able to sort of be a hunter killer and scout ahead collecting things...and bashing them. And got way too much amusement out of repeatedly knocking into the skull people in the sand kingdom or any random dog or passerby. I did also really like the boss fight at the end of that area too with the big giant stone head with the fists and then you can possess the fists and knock them into him. It was quite funny when he was watching his own fist fly into him with this really freaked out look on his face. Lego Avengers 2 strike force thingy. And this game I played too. Enjoyed it a lot more then Mario because it was active...but I do not think I am very good at it given she was in like the 60ks rivets and I was in the 20s. Also the gameplay seems really...hinky. But still a fun experiences.

Started Pillars of Eternity on PotD. Damn, last game I played that was made like this was Baldur's Gate 2 20 years ago. Had hard time picking the class; was torn between Wizard and Cipher. Went with ranged Cipher and I like it so far. IDK why many people, especially reviewers, compare this game with D:OS. Took one selfie in front of this lovely tree.

Last night I decided on a better form of overwatch given the position I was in. Fool walked right into it. This was swiftly followed up by two plasma grenades flung into the mix. Good stuff. I'm basically reliving my teenage years by playing Necromunda. Ah the good old days when I ran my Escher gang

Between doing quests in DA2 I'm also playing some Sims 4 made a new family (again ) with some rather interesting surnames my guy is named Max Royal, and the lady is named Isabelle Wolfe now...Isa is pregnant, and I aim to put their surnames together for their kid (they're currently just dating, not married yet...not sure if I'll have them do that) making their descendants carry the 'Royal-Wolfe' surname

Never cared much for the companions though, as I found tinkering with custom parties much, much more fun. Pallegina is excellent though. Still sad I can't romance her

Struggling a little bit with Immortals I'm enjoying the gam ebut navigatin git is quiet difficult when you have on ehand on the controls whic hin turn is making the vault puzzles tricky to do as well. I can see th eanswer and I know what I have to do. It's the actual doing it I'm having issues with. I'll press on fo rnow an dse ehow far I get but unfortunately if it get's too challenging on the main path then I'm not sure how much further I'll get befoer I end up admtting defeat. Th estory is fun an dthe humour is pretty good too. The banter betweewn Prometheus and Zeus kind of reminds m eof the banter between Varric and Cassandra in DA2.

Continuing my progress through Immortals. Now that I got some more of the upgrades for the charged up versions of some god powers combat is so much smoother. Also using the bird gives health on hit so I'm usually at full health. Which is nice with the bonuses to damage while at full health. Also looted some more gear that I like the look of. The weapons are part of the online shop, but thanks to the wonders of pc gaming I was able to add them in with an editor!

To soothe my previously shared Mordheim woes, I started XCom Enemy Unknown. So far it's pretty good. Unlike Mordheim I can save and redo, which is really helping me figure out strategies. When someone dies I can replay and try to save them, which has been a great teaching aid. My goal is to finish, then try Enemy Within in a mode that doesn't let me save. It's still not as engaging as Mordheim, but I refuse to turn that thing back on again so hopefully XCom will be a suitable substitute. If anyone has any other strategy game recommendations I'd love to hear them. I could swear two of the VAs are Varris and Ashley, but maybe I've just played way too much BioWare

It took a while, but I restarted IWD. Kicked up the difficulty to Insane, mostly for the extra XP and made a new party: The names of the partymembers in the previous game were all over the place, now they have a nice theme which also pleases me greatly. The men are Greek gods, the women are Greek fates.

I spend almost 175 hours into Cyberpunk 2077 and near 100 hours in AC Valhalla in the last 2 months. I need something else now I think. I actually wanted to go back to AC Valhalla after CP2077, but all I see is a map with dots on it and I think I need a break from that. Also, why I'm not feeling my MMOs (SWTOR/GW2, what I usually play in-between games) because of that. On top of that, I somehow started to have a Celtic/Gaelic crave these last few days. So I decide to go with Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning (via my EA Pro Play) as I can't think of any other games that are based on that lore outside the Sylvari in GW2. The problem: I never managed to finish the original. It's also very MMOish so I might be burned before I even start it.

In Sims 4
I've been trying my hand at building some lots in the empty Newcrest world
so far I've build a café, vet clinic, a park, a gym and a cemetary/wedding location (with hidden vampire lair ) The other two 'neighborhoods' will be filled with houses for sims to live in...just need to think of what they'll look like
I also tried building a nightclub/stripclub...but eh *shrug* it looked ugly so I ended up deleting it. At first I also build a vampire house on the big empty lot in the lower left corner, but I ended up moving it to Forgotten Hollow

There is one thing I really like About Kingdoms of Amalur: you can make a proper Battlemage character. The heavy armor sword wielding kind.
Also, Chackrams. More games should implements chackrams. I actually hate how the scepter works in the game, but chackrams are just love. Also, longsword/greatsword (hammer are a bit to slow for me). How blocking works is weird thought.
So I've been questing in the early area of the game, scratching that celtic/gaelic hitch of mine a bit. Hepled a few people here and there. I have to kill more bandits now. There is always more bandits to kill.
Also, discover all those lorestones. Some are pretty wild stuff.

Assetto Corsa again, with a 1970's Lola T70 spyder. 500+ HP V8 naturally aspired, around 700 kilograms total weight, top speed 310 km/h. As much as I like modern cars and technology, the old 70's cars do it for me. While modern cars feel like on rails thanks to their aerodynamics and electronics, the old cars are hard earnest work, they are organic, loud, inefficient, hard to control, crazy. But if you can do a fast lap on the very edge of the cars limit its just better than anything else.

Devil May Cry V. Completed the Bloody Palace with Vergil. There were several tough moments, but in general it was easier, than with Dante. The only problem was that the World of V (restores HP) often crashed the game and Vergil did not have a normal DT form (which allowed to regenerate HP), only SDT. The solution was to kill the demons before they could hit me (or crash the game), obviously. In case, if it was not obvious, it was sarcasm and the crashes were most irritating. Screenshots:

Having way more fun with AC Valhalla than I thought I would. I hide most of Eivor's armor while I'm running around England so I can see his hot bod and sick tats.
