Honestly, it looks terrible. It looks like a CG still someone made in Blender to post in one of those Ren'Py VNs I've been entertaining myself with lately. The industry really needs to move away from DAZ3D assets. They're just so low effort.

My Time at PortiaI had a nice melon sharing morning with Emilie my neighbor. We hate some of her melons, except for Mr. Melon which she is keeping for the Harvest Festival. Good thing seasons aren't normal here, because we are still in the Spring (late Spring, but still Spring). I also helped her grandma a bit on the same day. I have no idea how that old lady and Emilie manage that huge farm alone... I bought some irrigation floors, a tower and two large boxes to plant an apple and crystal tree. One day, I'll have enough bronze pipes to make a drying rack for the apples. My last commission asked for 3, I was making some for something else (not even the drying rack). Now I have to start over. I currently have more steel than bronze bars. I also had more carbon steel bars, but they hmmm, went into an industrial cutter and a blender already... I also had to change my plans. I wanted to clear the Amber cave on Thursday of the current week, but an event with Huss and Tuss started on Monday. Lucky for me, earlier today I read that they can cause some bugs with the following to Amber cave. As that quest/event ends on a weekend and I was planning to trigger something on that weekend via finishing Amber cave on Thursday. So I moved that plan for the week after. So now I'm just fishing, mining, hazardous ruin diving and building some upgrades or new item for me with the occasional quest and daily guild commissions. I did make the blender and cooking set, on top of the industrial cutter I just unlocked the recipe for. I think I'm doing rather well. I have no issues fulfilling commissions on the same day and I don't feel pressured like the last time I played. I also been trying to interact a bit more with the town population. I try to give Oak some roasted meat every day, he basically eat off the trashes otherwise (I've seen him forage in them). Also, I keep giving a few fishes per week to pinky the cat, not that she needs it going by her size, but I love cats.

GW2 Icebrood Saga first "return to" episode is on, Grothmar Valley aka Charr party/politic time. The new achievements aren't as terrible as I was expecting. They could have increased the "local response" total (it's 20) because I completed it with a 15 minutes long meta-event: METAL LEGION concert! And it's the best meta-event ever. Cheers. Jump in mush-pit. Launch fireworks. Amps amps. Catch jumping charr. Whack crazy fans. Stop equipment form overloading. Destroy crazed construct at the end of the concert. It's pure insanity like any good heavy metal concert should be!!!! I also got thrown off stage because I tried to play an instrument during the concert. Someone said there was an achievement for it, so I tried and there was. I did the other require events for the new achievements too and even the jumping puzzle. All that is left is basically finishing the story now. Woot! But I kinda wanted to play My Time at Portia tonight not GW2

Avengers
So this is frustrating and it all comes down to well two things. 1. the 'level design'...honestly really live service games and online games like this seem to be pretty much friendly for open world design and better for that because open worlds at least for Ubisoft handles it with both Ghost Recon and Assassins Creed you have relatively small bases scattered around the map you can go and do relatively quickly for this...but here each one of these things that they do are more or less classic levels that you would see...well like in Mass Effect 2 which is actually a good analogy. And yet there is no save system and yet because of the nature of the game if you 'leave early' you have to start the level over again because of the... 2. Save design. I kind of commented on this but its starting to get beyond discouraging to play these levels which are actually fairly meaty...which is a good thing honestly...but then you lose all your progress if you have to go or run into a problem. Sure you keep your levels you keep your gear but you have to do the mission all over again.
So yeah that happened last night to because I did what was called a 'villain sector' for...Monica...which then ended up having some interesting story implications and I do have to wonder if that is specifically related to Future Imperfect...IE it only becomes available after the level is over and you finish Future Imperfect or does the Dialogue change. Hmm. I feel like Anthem all over again. And well pretty fun mission for the most part but it just kept going and going as it seems like it does and here I was just practicing and hoping to find something quick to do and this was not it and objective after objective...wait you are done...you aren't done. Then you fight Monica and a bunch of clones of hers and her herself and well she seems to have an insta kill AOE thing which I think I know how to avoid it but there is no warnign really ao...yeah. There is all that to and so far the boss design in this game also sucks ass.
All this to say is rather unfortunate because A. there is a lot I do like about this game. It is fun when it works well it just that its going to be...well...but it also just is a game which forces you to play and well just the whole live die and repeat of it could get really old. I do not want to waste 30 bucks. B. Not sure what i want to play from here. I mean I *know* what I want to play kind of but both of those games might be getting next gen title updates soon so I would rather wait for them before I start playing.

Hades I've been progressing slowly, getting impaled, crushed, burned, etc. on regular basis. Fun! There's far more story that I initially thought, which is great. And I got to buy comfy bedding for my best boy Cerberus! Sometimes you can even overhear what shades of dead talk about. Wait... The second one. Tell me!

Avengers
Well today was a *good* session. Of course the fun part is if I do stick around based on everything I should get...well maybe a month of enjoyment out of this game? Just hope it lasts long enough to actually have something else come up and be ready that I want to start playing.
The rule for the day? Careful what you wish for you just might get it. I do remember distinctly feeling like the constant AIM bots might be a bit on the nose and feel a bit repetitive...so they added mechanical spiders for War of Wakanda...and a lot more different feeling human enemies. And these spiders have like silk launchers which can drag you to them...fun. And they can pounce. Fun. So yeah by the by I did start doing the 'Avengers Iniative' portions of the Wakanda maps for the game with Hawkeye and I am really enjoying them. They are very different and a welcome change of pace already. And well the Wakanda environments feel better and the enemies are also a lot...different. I also got my first 100 level gear piece which speaking of which I must say I am actually sticking to some of the perks over levelling the gear up and trying to balance that out. Not much of a point in the gear systems favor all things considered but well I want my heroic recharges because those powers can be pretty useful.
Also, our good friend Christopher Judge ends up voicing T'Challa and well...he did a much better job with Kratos. Not that he is doing bad per se just its kind of all over the place because on the one hand there are lines where he is trying to sound *African* trying to sound like a fairly reasonable, though very uncanny valley Chadwick Boseman...and other line deliveries he sounds just like I'd expect him to. Its weird. But always nice to see him getting more work.

Fire emblem: three houses. I've successfully got back all my students (I recruited everyone but Petra I didn't had enough competence for her sadly) Dedue reappeared and wasn't really dead. Dimitri finally got his head cleared and out of the murdering spree . Really, this game is "what happen when mental health specialists don't exist". There were times my Bylet would have liked to say: we don't need an army, we need psychologists". In between battles, I played some Story of Seasons: pioneers of Olive Town. Cute aestetic, cute farming gameplay, awful writing. Expecially after playing Trio of Town. The storyline is extremely simplified, the festival boring, the dialogues boring. It's still enjoyable, but I'm glad I didn't pay full price and didn't got the expansion pass.

BG3
Lyara has found out, that Kagha is in league with the shadowdruids and decided to confront her - that ended a bit messy Kagha and her shadowdruids are dead, but so are some of the druids that helped us.
As if the day wasn't bad enough, Lyara also learnt the truth about sweet auntie Ethel. And had to confront auntie in her home to save a girl. I must say, that I like the Ethel quest the most - the lair is creepy, Ethel is interesting and everything about it is just a delight.
Nice was, that you finally can tell Mayrina about her brothers, which makes her want to break her deal with Ethel.
After that, the group decided that it was time to tackle the druid camp and see, if Halsin is still alive. Wyll had a little breakdown, but still won't acknowledge, what Lyara suspected, that his false eye is a sending stone and he is connected with someone. He howevery is adamant to talk to a goblin named Spike for some reason. He says, it was Spike, who took his eye.
In the camp, they've met Volo, who obviously had a goblin admirerer, who kept him save from the other goblins. Thanks to this goblin girl, we were able to free Volo and sent him on his way. The group also encountered the owlbear cup, they saw with it's mother in a cave. Lyara and the owlbear mother came to an understanding an everyone left alive. But now it looks, as if the mother was killed by the goblins and the cub is now amusement for the camp. Lyara promised the little owlbear to help him.
In the goblin camp there is a whole new scene with a vision and an explanation for Shadowhearts puzzle box, which is totally awsome.
In the inner sanctum the group encountered and stealthkilled priestress Gut, one of the leader of the Absolute cult (or the local Absolute cult - it seems, it's bigger than expected). The group also found Spike and Wyll wanted to know about ther whereabouts of someone called Mizora. Lyara succeeded in intimidating Spike and he spilled the beans. AFter that, we helped him out of his misery and freed the prisoner, he was torturing (he belonged to Aradins adventurer group).
An interesting encounter was Abdirak, a priest of Loviatar, maiden of pain. He is not with the cult and just there as an advisor on torture techniques. He is however very frustrated with the crude methods of the goblins. I was curious, if they fixed the Loviatars Blessing buff, so I did Abdiraks pennance and lo and behold: the buff works. Nice. After that, the group made short work of the second leader, a drow named Minthara, and her minions. All without raising alarm.
Then they finally found the prison cells and freed Halsin, who is indeed still alive and very happy for the help. He asks to kill the goblin leader and since the group wanted to do that anyway, they said yes.
I left out the smaller things, since that would be too much. There is a mentioning of a Nightsong and I suspect, it has to do with Sahdowheart and the Sharrans, but we will see.
They over hauled the 'Speak with the Dead' animation a bit more
Lyara and her waifu
Daddy Halsin - alive and well

GW2I finished the new "Return to" episode, then I advanced a bit more my Norn Tempest's story. Two of the last 3 remaining elite specs for the next expansion were revealed too and the last one was leaked via official French account by mistake. Beta for those next week. I can't wait to try the new Engineer spec... LoTRO
I'm almost done with the Lone Lands area. I haven't played this that much this week thought. I would have moved to another area a while ago had I not been playing 4 games at the same time. My Time at PortiaI had one gift on my birthday (last day of Spring) and Arlo ran off after some bandits. All on the same day! I'm not sure who gave me a gift, I don't have any friends yet in town, only one character reached "associate" level so far, although a few aren't that far from that too. I also rescued a dog, but I don't think I'm going to "adopt" him, I'm still working on Pinky the cat. I also finished clearing the first combat oriented ruin. Now I can send the Civil Corps harvest stuff there for me at every levels. I'm sitting on a comfortable amount of money after 1 month too. I should probably think about upgrading my worktable again or the assembly station or expand...I'm going to need more land.

AvengersNothing too much. Still trying to see if there is any way to determine what missions are what. Did a "Horde drop zone." which basically ended up being one giant defend your objective thing from waves of bad guys. And yeah that got really frustrating really fast and there did not always seem to be rhyme or reason to how you progressed so...got close 94%...but died twice and did not feel like trying again. so ended up doing a mission which sounded like a neat premise but well ended up maybe being longer then what I thought and well I got a debrief from Jennifer Hale...I mean maria hill. bit of a neat mission. Oh and I did find where Chris Judge...I mean T'Challa was hanging out in Wakanda. Got Hawkeye up to max level at least in terms of skills so I think I will be starting on 'taking aim...' soon. I did also discover or at least have pretty much confirmed a theory of mine that seems the mission list does change at times.

Tales of AriseToday was awful. One unrelenting battle after another. I don't even know what we were looking for. By lunch time I have had enough. I proudly put my foot down. "We've been walking around for a while now. Can we give up?" "What? You're tired?" Yes! Yes I am! I wanted to shout out to the stars but instead I only muttered under my breath: "I'm tired of something, alright." So more battles it was.

LoTROI said I was almost done with the Lone Lands. Well it was a lie!!! I thought I only one section left with quests (including the epic book ones), but there was another. Up North. With lots of signature enemies (although it's not that hard on my Beorning). My Time at PortiaI visited Amber Cave and advanced the story...and now I have nothing to do. Summer started with a few side quests popping, but they were not hard to finish. And I have no issue fulfilling my daily commissions either. SWTORI tried to play this a little today, but I didn't feel like it. My Smuggler is in the Justicar sectoc and I think that's my least favorite part of Coruscant... GW2
I advanced my Norn Tempest again and now I understand why people complains about them. I didn't have issue in the story, but there was a open world event with a veteran boss and some turret where I died twice. The turrets were killing me really fast and destroying them is pointless, they basically auto-respawn. I also made a new Asura Engineer. Yes, before trying the beta. I decided to make a leatherwork to 500 with her (only disciplines I haven't maxed). She's at 467 now and I was reminded why leatherworking is a PITA to level compared to everything else. That hardened leathers is so expensive...

BG3 The new hotfix broke my game. It's my own fault really - I wanted to use mods and now the savegame doesn't work anymore. I can create and play characters on the profiles without mods (that's the good thing: you can make a profile, use mods there and if something breaks, you only have to delete that profile, the others will work as intended). I like the mods, because the armor and character creation options in the vanilla game are really spartanic atm. I don't like the robes for sorcerers, but want to play that class, so I used the mod, you saw in the pictures of Lyara. I might give it a rest a few days and try again, since I'm at a convention for the whole weekend anyway. Curious to see, if there are BG3 cosplayer out there. I might look into making a druid costume (one of the few armors, I like) for a later con, maybe even the character Nettie - she is the apprentice of the archdruid Halsin, you save at the goblin camp. She is a young dwarf lady and has her hair similar to mine - so no work there needed

Madden 22So...yeah there was a sale. I musst always say that for some reason that Madden is always the toughest game for me to talk about when doing these which is weird in its own right because there is not usually aa lot to *talk about* per se in terms of story but then that may be part of the point. Anyways though so yeah... Four games in and pretty much a lot of good slaughter fests going on. Three doing the demo on the Chiefs and then one against the Broncos. The second of those three games was kind of a fun little situation sort of the first half was the tale of 'third and long leading to long TDs. Like 44 yards for Chris Godwin, then like 60 for Godwin, then like 88 for Brown. 3rd game was the first real challenge. The Chiefs were able to get ahead and got into a back and forth deal but was able to get the 4th quarter come back 28-21 on a TD. Beat the Broncos 45-10. So yeah the rest of the thing is the announcers just suck arse in this. Still calling Evans a Running back and well after I beat the Broncos they mentioned that I was playing the Chiefs...and also on the Chiefs they said the same thing with the end of each game. So probably will turn them off. Other thing is trying to figure out who I want to replace for Antonio Brown and going with Larry Fitsgerald...who is a bit on the elder side and only ranking 79. Lets see how badly this effects things.

She is a young dwarf lady and has her hair similar to mine - so no work there needed Post some pics if you do! Will do, but that might be a long time, since I have some other costumes in the pipeline.

GW2
I ended up spending the golds to get the stuff I needed to finish leveling Leatherworking on my new baby Engineer. I now have a maxed Leatherworker and I can now wait so I can make an ascended medium armor. The wait is because there are things that can only be crafted once per day...and I need 14 of them.
And it's going to cost me less to craft the ascended armor than level Leatherworking to 500 (maybe not if we count the material value thought).

I find the same thing hasppens in m ycareers on Fifa. Jus tbeat Burnley 4-1 to get through t oth equarter finals o fthe FACup on m Create a Club career s oI' monly 3 games awa yfrom possibl ygetting int onex tseasons Europa League on tha tsave. I doubt I'll actually win the FA cupas there' sstill a lot of big clubs stil lin th ecompetition and I'm still in League 1 but still it feels good to have a cup run like this going on.
