Testing the armor out though and it was kind of interesting to when the guy shooting at me missed me entirely. Of course there was no dents. I noticed that too in my game. Went far left (from Geralt's perspective) so he didn't even stagger. lol

Marvel's Midnight Suns Finished Deadpool's dlc. I wonder if the story will continue with the other dlc characters or they each have their own stories? Anyway DP's story ended in a cliffhanger. Did the story mission in act 2 involving the Hulk. I must admit I was intimidated by him, but after finishing DP's last story mission I did not find much trouble with the Hulk. Yeah I don' tthink ew'll know befoer they com eout as only thing they've said about the DLC's are the charactres we're getting. Bu tyea hth eHulk is probabl yth eeasies tof the Fallen to fight given he doesn't interfere with side quests and the only thing dangreous abou thim is he hits hard. I have had both Venom and Scarlet Witch interfere with a side quest or 2 but as of yet Sabretooth hasn't on this run as so fa rI'v eonl yhad t ofight him on the main stor yquests. I know he can intreferewith side quests as he' s done so in my earlier runs he just hasn' tin this run yet. I am looking forward t ogettin gWanda back on m yside though and making he rmy Witch as that T shirt says in the game.

Dead Space
So Issac has to stomp on dead monsters to get loot. As if he's not already drenched head to toe in blood and gore. 😶 They magically disappear after some time though. It's not permanent.
I was right on monster variation except that my guess was on the wrong spectrum regards size. It's babies. ugh. There're babies in tanks. What for, I've no idea. I couldn't find any notes on why they're in tanks except for a medical log on a different matter; prosthesis. Why one patient was getting it earlier than another. The baby monsters can attach themselves to ceilings so now I check the ceilings every time I enter a room.
Chapter two was entirely in the medical section. At one point, a monster appeared the moment I went down the aisle. I ran towards it, shooting, because I knew more monsters would pop behind. It's an aisle after all. I was right. I turned around and mowed down the pop ups.
I stopped at chapter three which is at engineering. Fast travel between sections of the station is now available since Issac repaired the tram system. This game has a total of 12 chapters. Nine more to go. The first two chapters took about a few hours. Perhaps three hours each, tops. I'd probably be faster if I just ran through but I spent time looking for ammo, loot, logs, selling stuff and upgrading.

GW2Some more map and story steps completion on my Ranger. Also, today was the balance patch preview (it release on the 14th) and Ranger is getting mean things, mostly base cooldown reductions because they are removing the utilities cooldown reduction bonus from some traits. They aren't touching the overpowered Untamed trait thought, instead all Untamed is getting is an animation cooldown on a traversal skill because it's abused in PvP. So I went and slotted the OP trait and it does make Untamed flow better...which means the CDs are probably too long by defaults and the trait is a band-aid.

Dead Space
Chapter four sees the asteroid cracker gradually falling out of orbit since the engines were down so Issac had to restart a few things. The station was able to stabilise its orbit but ran into asteroids. Issac had to calibrate the turrets manually.
It was confusing. Linking in to the turret was no problem but then the game indicated he should manually aim and shoot at the asteroids. Following the instructions did nothing. I spent a few minutes trying to figure out what he should be aiming. I was expecting a targeting screen but the console displayed nothing. I did a search. There was nothing for the remastered DS though but there are a couple that showed the player getting into the gunnery station and shooting.
There's no such gunnery station. I looked around. Nothing. I looked up. There's the turret. Is there a gunnery seat? The game refused to let Issac float any further up. Now what? I finally figured that Issac should look at the turret, depressed the right mouse key which let him turn the turret and aim at the incoming asteroids. Wish the game is more clear on this.
Chapter five. The mad religious scientist. Is there such a thing? 😛 Yeah, he's nuts. He tricked Issac and put him in stasis while yapping his "beliefs". Of course, he wanted Issac dead so he introduced his pet. A darn monster that regenerates. I died several times for this sequence because I didn't know where to run. Daniels was saying she opened a way for Issac but freck, I had to keep stopping to find the pathway which let the monster caught up.
Issac ran into a dying engineer who said the hydroponics section must be cleansed because the air was getting corrupted. Daniels confirmed it so Issac had to go there. At the end of the chemical lab, the mad scientist trapped Issac with his pet. I died again several times trying to figure out if there's a way tp kill it. There's none. I tried burning it. Nope. I tried stasis to halt its regeneration and burn it. Nope. That damn Cryo chamber in the middle has to be for something!!!
I finally did a search. Stasis the hunter in the chamber, then run to the small room and activate the chamber to freeze it. I died again trying to find the stupid console to activate the chamber. It's on the opposite side of the small room. The hunter was frozen and put into storage by the station computer. By then, I was all for taking the engines offline again and let the station burn up in orbit. As long as it fries the mad scientist and the original cause of the monster making, freck, let everyone die! 😄
I'm now in chapter six. Hydoponics.

Did the first story mission for act 3. It was pretty difficult destroying the 3 pillars while fending off both Hydra and Lilin.

The Witcher 3So...Gwent...then more Gwent. All I basically did was Gwent. Though I did also wrap up the mission with Karidan to. The Witcher of the Cat School. It was a bit of an interesting forced conversation to. Lambert being an endearing prick as he usually was...and I chose to let Karidan go. Now he did at least play a good game, he did look contrite, he had a family, basically an echo of the whole Blackwall thing from Inquisition. But the thing is, you do basically have to take his word for it. Since you really can't ask him about it further or have any evidence, at leas that I know of, that you can use to cooberate any of these stories. First Gwent battle with Thaler and it went smoothly. I am getting really glutnous on being able to just swarm people with spy cards, get more cards, which will then let me bull rush them with the other cards. THe special bit on this round is I was able to have both my scorch beast melee card thingy and the actual scorched guard. Deployed the scorched against a pair of tight bonded siege cards of his that were also being commander's horned, wiped out 64 of his points and then later on I medicked the scorchbeast again which wiped out even more people. Second the 'High Stakes' tournament. ANd I lost...to Sasha. Annoyed to because I could've sworn she was down to zero cards but then deploys a Thaler out of her butt. One of those things though she did play me quite expertly and forced me to win round 1. I was a bit weary of this of course and then got into the race in round 2 which left me essentially with no cards, she played a spy card...maybe she had to but a weird choice none the less and for a moment it looked like I would hold on, but Thaeler. High Stakes is one of those neat quests but man I was noticing a few things which were just a little weird about the whole thing. Like she tells you her name, Geralt tells her its not her real one and asks her for it...and then I learn we are in the Pasifloara, made me laugh, but then at the end of it we find out she is a Nilfgardian spy...which yeah I guessed and also guessed who stole the money. BUT what is odd about this that in hindsight you have Geralt just asking this strange woman about her name for no real reason all to set up a twist later on. A few other things bugged me but that is the one that stuck out the most. Also took her up on dinner, turned down the presumably sex. I don't know kind of think that Geralt and Yen might have a more open relationship then Geralt and Triss, at least that is how I played the two...but this does beg the question about what I'm gonna do when I hit Shani and that one awesome lady from Blood and Wine whose name escapes me oh my god my member is the worse...syl something.

Behold, I earned the 5* in the San Marie map and with that the trophy (it didn't show so I had to include this picture) as soon as I was about to unleash the Styxosaurus into the lagoon, it was a hard journey but I hope if frontier adds a new island campaign it is more balanced:

Going into the turret and using it was one of the changes to the remake for EA Motive decided to scrap that section of the original and remake it into something else. From my experience and time on the internet the turret sequence was one of the more complained about sections of Dead Space (2008). Even more so getting the achievement for not taking any damage or barely any.

Dead Space
I think the devs cut out some of the toing and froing for the remastered version because during the stint to get the shuttle working, Daniels was supposed to tell Issac the navigational boards were missing and he had to get them. There was no such task. The mad scientist was supposed to transform and attack Issac as well but this didn't happen.
It can get a bit tedious, killing x number of creatures to affect something. Kill Wheezer one to five. I went all over to find them, following the tracker. Then the number went to six, then seven, then eight. I was exasperated by then. How many wheezers are there?!!
I was going back and forth. Find NPC A's rig, find NPC B's rig, find NPC C's rig. I was following the main quest tracker so I didn't get B and C but it didn't seem to matter. I couldn't be bothered to switch over to SQ tracking.
I gathered enough of the logs to figure out what's happening and wonder if Issac was going to be mentally sound at the end. I was beginning to suspect he isn't going to be the same as he was when he first arrived by chapter nine. It reminds me of Mass Effect and the effect of Reaper indoctrination except that this title did it better regards the result on the MC.
This is not a RPG so I couldn't like say, make a decision and veer him off. All I could do was ride the train to the end.
The monsters encountered;
normal size with elongated arms ending in claws babies that sprout tentacles elongated humanoid that shattered into pieces that then became alive and attack a bat like creature a humanoid that carries a red bulbous bomb (he reminds me of the MET Collector possessed abominations that explode) a humanoid with bulging sack
There's also a growth that is spread throughout the station with corpses poking out. They remind me of the unfortunate victims in Aliens. These corpses respond if a light is shone on them; they didn't like it. I would call them immature "growths" because that's all they do. The mature ones sprout tentacles and attack.
There're giant monsters to fight. Two. The first reminds me of the MET Thorian but much bigger. Like the Thorian, its tentacles have to be destroyed in order to, well, eject it. The last battle was against the mother of all thresher maws. 😛 Well close to it. It's like the fight Shepard had against the Reaper destroyer on Rannoch but tougher.
I was able to kill the monster that regenerates during the stage where the shuttle was acquired. As usual, I was running around trying to escape it because the MC was supposed to run away from it in the previous three encounters. This time, however, I found I had to kill it after taking a look at the quest. Pausing for a quick read while it was regenerating. Bludy heck, how to kill it?
I made another several circuits to get away before pausing the game and did a search. Oh, kill it with the shuttle engines. Of course! I cut off all its limbs and damaged it enough, stasis it in front of the engines, run to the control room and hit 'test shuttle engines' before it could get up to chase again. Bye bye.
The game is done and although there is NG+, I don't see the point since the story is a train ride. NG+ is for those who want another go at the monsters. I've my fill of them. ugh, enough.
Game performance
Very good. 👍 Once continue is hit at the menu, you're immediately able to move around. I'm impressed. Everything is set up and ready once the game is loaded unlike other games in which you'll likely get a loading screen.
There isn't any load time / screen traversing the station. The most I see is a second pause as Issac moved from one section to another. It's a seamless transition. I could play for hours without seeing a single load screen. The only time I see those is when Issac died or I reloaded a point because I did something wrong.
Graphics is tops. 👍 Sounds. 👍 Music. I didn't have it loud (barely audible) so I have no input as to whether they're immersive. This is after all, a horror title, so I didn't want to singe my ears with howling winds or screeching violins.
Combat is good and so are the weapons.
Edit. Oh, I found out in the original game, Issac did not talk. He's a silent protaganist. For this remake, a VA was hired to give voice to the MC which is a good move as this makes the game more immersive.
So apparently, the devs changed the way Issac talked when he's full hp, half hp and almost dying. Oh my. 👍👍👍👍👍

Game performance Very good. 👍 Once continue is hit at the menu, you're immediately able to move around. I'm impressed. Everything is set up and ready once the game is loaded unlike other games in which you'll likely get a loading screen. There isn't any load time / screen traversing the station. The most I see is a second pause as Issac moved from one section another. One thing that my friends have spoiled me with. There is a different ending to the game if you play NG+ and find the collectables (I think it was mini-markers) that only appear in NG+. I stopped them before I found out what it was. Some other neat facts I picked up along the way they hired the same voice actor that Dead Space 2 and 3 use when giving Issac a voice in the remake. They also modelled Issac's face on the voice actor along with Nicole and her voice actor. One other improvement which might have impacted things like searching for the board is they made the ship into one map instead of having the tram taking you to another completely different map with a loading screen.

GW2Zaithan defeated again...with my Norn Untamed Ranger this time. GW2 core storyline is the game I played through the most. Nothing will ever beat that. You actually have to play like 24 characters just to do all the different variation in it (I did that years ago for the achievements, although technically some of them didn't make it at the end). You can probably add another 10-20 characters after that. I just love making new character to try classes/elite spec, play through the story and then...get bored and delete them. And I'm not even doing that because it's some amazing story, lol. It's just my "in-between games". Takes me about 30 hours each times if I bother with map completion along the way, it's way shorter if you don't. And now I'm free for Hogwarts Legacy next week...which means I need to find something to do until early access open. I'll probably go dabble in SWTOR again I guess.

Marvel's Midnight Suns Did the first story mission for act 3. It was pretty difficult destroying the 3 pillars while fending off both Hydra and Lilin. Presonally I foun dAc t3 th eeasiest par to fth egam etbh even the final mission wasn' t that hard. The only hard part of the final mission was you don't really get to choose who you use. The game picks you rsquad for you a teach point. wha the game picks though is based on how you've levelled your characters. It's quite a clever final missoin but I won't say moer than that. Jus tunlocked Ghos tRidres Legendar ypower. Also started working on Scarle tWitch a bit now that I've rescued Wanda from Lillith.

Well the first story mission in act 3 was bit hard but nowhere near as hard as the Fallen Venom bell tower mission. Or the third Deadpool story mission with the statue. Later on tonight I'll just keep doing side missions and try to max friendships so I can unlock each hero's legendary powers.

Yeah I wantt ounlock a tleas t1 or 2 more beforeI crank things up but most of the heroes are at Level 4 now as ide from Wolvrein ewho I think is leve l3 and Scarlet Witch who's at level 1 so likel ywon' ttak etoo long t oge ta tleas t1 more t olevel 5. I suspec =t it'll either be Captain America or Captain Marvel really as I think they' re the 2 highest levelled ones atm. I'll admit I'm enjoying the way I'v got Spiderman specced thoug hwit hhi scards. He's been ver useful in thi splaythrough. Whic his jus tas wel as I'v eended up doing a lo tof missions wit h him and why he wa sfirs tacross the line to get his Legendary ability. I d okin dof like Captain Marvels Supernova s oI'm hoping it's her that's next. But I'll see how the gam eplays out rather than try to influence it too much as Captain America's shield charge is pretty cool as well.

But I'll see how the gam eplays out rather than try to influence it too much as Captain America's shield charge is pretty cool as well. Yeah, I've been using Blade a lot on side missions and I found a deck for him that's really good. The hero I've used the most is Wolverine. Captain Marvel was great in the first act, but then I got Wolverine who I mentioned before in act 2. All the heroes are pretty good even the one I did not know about like Magik, Nico, and Robbie as Ghostrider. Speaking of Ghostrider he is one of my top tier heroes. But I tell you the truth the game has been a challenge, but since Venom is no longer in the game the other Fallen like Crossbones, Sabretooth, and Hulk have all been pushovers. Also I've gotten better on not letting myself get swarmed by enemies. This was a problem of mine early on and through early act 2. Oh, I don't normally check the Steam forum for this game but apparently the bug I had after finishing act 2 where I would sleep, and then the screen would go black for a long time, and the only way for me to get out was hold the esc key. Well it's a bug introduced with the latest patch. But so far it has only happened that one time. I tried reloading the save but the problem still happened.

Recruited everyone available to fight the Wild Hunt, then headed for the Isle of Mists. Got distracted by a few icons along the way. I did all the runewright quests and got all the Ofieri schematics and gear. Had to do the race a few times because I kept missing the same turn! And, got the last base game gwent card from the noble at Vizima when going to see Emhyr.
Just landed on the island and made it to the cabin.

Company of Heroes
I may have played this before but I could be confusing it with Commandoes. It feels very familiar though.
There're various campaigns available but I've no idea how long they are. The tutorials roll through controlling squads to defense / offense and capturing resources.
Capturing Omaha Beach is the first campaign. The cutscenes are very good. The first objective is to cut through and destroy the bunker. I've to get 25 men through. I grabbed what I see on the beach and directed them to various spots, hoping at least a few would survive to make it to the line. I saw medics on the beach tending to the wounded. 25 men reached the line and it was finally blown.
I lost a squad to the SMG nest located higher up. I was curious whether the enemy would cheese it shooting through the ground as I directed the second squad to get under the ridge. However, the enemy couldn't get at them so I had a trooper throw a grenade to take out the SMG.
The bunker was destroyed by a squad of engineers. Next up is taking out the long range artillery, 88s.

olnorton I figured out how to make stuff, how to transfer attributes from one piece of gear to another and how to make one type of gear into another armour type. I cannot figure out the shield thing where you change what heraldry/logo is on it. I can get it to change but I cannot figure out how to get the shield back with the new logo on it the whole shield just disappears. I also cannot figure out how to apply attributes like Dexterity etc. to armour if that is possible, if not how do I use those Crystals etc, I have? My original problem was that I had learned the enchantment skill. I reset my skills and didn't learn that and that made the override function available once I went into the set up.
