Hogwarts Legacy I agree with saandrig , that the kill count is laughable. Voldemort is nothing compared to our characters. And the Avadra Kedavra curse is downright cute, compared to some spells you use to stomp, slit, burn foes to death. It is a fun game though. I did install the anti spider mod though, because they Just became too frequent. And I already know, there is a big acromantula at the end of a Quest, I want to do. With this mod it's doable. I don't have always problems with spiders in games, I'm totally ok with the spiders in BG3 for example, but here in HL they are just too creepy. They are right up in the frostbite spider category for me. I learned flying and am about to start the first trial. A fun mini quest is a nod to the books: there is a woman, who asks you, If you would follow a swarm of butterflies into the Forbidden Forest. You can do that with a pleasent surprise. When Harry and Ron followed the spiders into the forest, Ron asked, why it Had to be spiders, why not butterflies. Does anyone know, If the bushes, who look Like dragons, have some story relevance later on?

You better believe I went into the Forbidden Forest. And honestly can't figure the big deal about it. Couldn't find anything in there even remotely as deadly as me. I should petition it be renamed as "The Pretty Safe and Lifeless Forest" from now on.
The Forbidden Forest is weird, if you go there at night there are none-hostile Dark Wizards walking around as if the place was a tourist spots for them. There is a lots of dark wizards around in fact. I'm surprised there haven't been full war between the Ministry and them at this point.

Hogwarts Legacy
The game gives an answer to a long asked question - "Is Hogwarts to blame?" Yes! Yes, it is. For everything!
You know that guy, Voldemort or something? He did nothing wrong. His kill count pales in comparison to what my fifth year student managed in just a few days after starting school. Who even needs Unforgivable Curses? And why the hell things like exploding people, cutting them in pieces, burning them alive, beating them in the ground, transforming them, etc are all perfectly fine and forgivable?
How is the whole Hogwarts region not a bloody warzone? Oh, yeah, we got clean up spells
So, how to describe an ordinary day of my Hogwarts life? Let's see...
"Dear diary, had a good night sleep. Decided to skip class today and went for a broom ride. Descended like the wrath of the Valkyries on the first poacher gang I laid my eyes on outside the castle. Burned half of them to death, beat the other half to a bloody pulp with any heavy rock laying around. Visited the nearest Goblin camp and went full Biological Warfare on their asses, letting some man-eating cabbages and plants chew them to bits (no Geneva convention to stop me yet, wohoooo). Had to do some Potions homework, so I hunted any poor animal that hasn't evolved yet to get the fuck out of Dodge when they hear my broom accelerating to killer speed. I have no idea how any animal still survives around here with all the ingredients we need and all the students roaming freely. Spent the next hour going invisible and Petrificus Totalling any poor thing in range of my wand.
You better believe I went into the Forbidden Forest. And honestly can't figure the big deal about it. Couldn't find anything in there even remotely as deadly as me. I should petition it be renamed as "The Pretty Safe and Lifeless Forest" from now on.
Teachers sent me to do some murdering around the valley, because apparently spells are taught based on our kill count. And if we are not creative enough in how we terrorize the populace, we might not get new toys to use later. Took the opportunity to rob every village house of its valuables. PS: Merlin is a fag! " If we take the game as a Hogwarts student simulator, we should just accept Voldemort was an inevitable victim of the magical education system. They be raising some serious serial killers in Hogwarts.
Don't get me wrong, the game is fun. But the story and gameplay segregation is pretty big and makes you laugh quite a bit at all the waste our protagonist inflicts and gets away with.
I have that kind of feeling with my Division 2 Agent. I just passed 210,000 kills in the game, but anyone that might not like the Division decides to open fire at first sight still. I would think with a reputation that my Agent or in reality any Agent would have at that point would make most random patrols run in the opposite direction if they hear my footsteps. It is the morality play of you guys did something bad so it justifies my doing bad things to you.

The eye ones you have to sneak up to and use Stealth on according t osom evids I watched on youtube. So you'll need t olearn an invisibilty spel or something first befoe ryou can get what's in them. As for the doors wit hnumbers I think they're mathematica lpuzzles bu tth esymbol things on th side of the door are the key. I discovered these things by watching this vid. The eye chest requires the disillusion spell which is actually an invisible spell. It's not learned in class but by advancing the story to the point the MC has to go to the restricted area of the library. There is a note on what each symbol meant for the puzzle doors and can be found in one of the classrooms. I forgot which one. I think it's divination. Irregardless, the door puzzles are not difficult. Just count the first symbol on the left (MC facing door), starting from zero, to alot each symbol a number and go all the way to the right. Then do the sums on the door, turn the plaques with ? or ?? to the correct symbols and that's it.

I think I managed just under 5,000 when I stopped playing TD2 it just didn't grab me like TD1 where I had just under 50,000 I think.

Hogwarts Legacy
So I picked up the follow the flying keys to open the locked cupboards SQ. It's a bit distracting as I'll be doing to another quest and come across a flying key. I followed it straight away as there is no quest pather for this one whereas it's easy to pick up the trail of the other SQs.
The teacher of the Dark Arts gave an assignment that requires dodging 10 attacks. Ha, I had finished the duel tournament so I had to find another way to do this. Hence, began the first venture out into the wilds. 😄 MC is level 12 at this point. I feel she's ready to handle whatever comes her way.
After meeting Natty, I opted to help out a painter who had been bullied and robbed. I also stopped by a merchant, did some selling and picked up some news. Would be nice if there's a broomstick to hop on. Oh well. Killed a few spiders along the way, I completed half of the assignment with them and finished the other half with the robbers.
Picked up what loot I could. I'd prefer to sell for money than destroy which is a waste but I had to sometimes. I'll usually opt to destroy the ones with less value. Still, I did leave loot lying around. 😑

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Needed more persona fix but wasn't quite in the mood for the main game. So ended up playing this one instead. Got it on a whim since it was on sale and while I'm not a massive brawler fan I do enjoy a round or two. Ended up playing through the entire Persona 4 Arena storyline. (Minus a few percent. Think I'm missing a secret ending in Yu's route and something in Chie's route.) Found pretty early that I'm rubbish at the combat, so was mostly on Easy/Safety mode. Maybe not the most exciting battles but getting pulverized 6 times in a row sounds less fun. Kanji why Story was so good though. Was wheezing from laughter in the earlier sections. My favorite bit was Yu going on a tirade about Nanako. Because she is the most precious thing of all. And I like his dynamic with Yosuke. Second favorite bit was Kanji's whole arc. Because I adore him and found the idea of the joke ending hilarious. Then third was Yukiko's joke ending since it just looked so sinister and I adore it. Then things got pretty serious near the middle so got to enjoy some suspense before it suddenly went really, freaking dark. So that was a mood. But did enjoy most of the routes and really enjoyed the different angles you got to see, even if the main thread was pretty similar between some of them. Think I'll try the dancing one before trying out the Ultimax/Arcade story lines. Because I like dancing.

The atmosphere of Division 2 is lacking compared to Division 1, but the random world events allows Division 2 to fit into a game I can play if I only have a few minutes to do something. Combined with bunch of my friends picked it up for $3 a couple of years ago so it is a game we have in common if we want to mindlessly do something while talking or badmouthing each other on Discord.

Hogwarts Legacy
I'm not a fan of broom flying since the controls are not that great. It would have been better if the devs had put in a small segment to let players fine tune the controls or at least get it to a point where it's tolerable. I've to reload and run the course several times to try to get the controls to a semblance of, well, control.
I'm not saying the controls are terrible but I tend to miss the ring when I pick up the speed boosts. If I use the directional arrows, I always over compensate and go out of control.
Just got the Room of Requirements. Nice. A room to customise! I chose a blue theme and lit by moonlight.
I also did a couple of Merlin trials and expanded the gear storage. Things are mighty expensive. 😶 I'm trying to save the Galleons for really needy items. I bought a broomstick. I pick one that's nice looking, the something Ember since all of them have the same stats.

So started DA0 PT 2 with a Female Cousland Rogue this time using a bow (for now at least) and only after inviting Iona back to Swift's room did I realise I had created an Iona twin. Bow takes a bit to get strong, and it's very passive to play until you get the later active. And lol at the Iona's twin.

You can use the winterforge to remove the Leliana restriction. Drop the armor in the padlock. i.imgur.com/9fZfu6C.jpgIn keeping with the Greek theme, I'm playing Total War Troy. By Athena there's a lot to remember.

No playing but I added The Last of Us to my Steam wishlist. Not sure if I will buy/pre-order it or instead wait for a sale, but I am enjoying the show (despite the horror aspects). It is making me leery of mushrooms though.

OMG I have totally not been using the padlock, I just thought it meant that the override and toolbar was unlocked and have been using the other tools to go about stuff in a much more convoluted process. It took me over 1,000 hours of gameplay in Skyrim to try Crafting stuff and this is why.
