Hogwarts Legacy I'm not a fan of broom flying since the controls are not that great. It would have been better if the devs had put in a small segment to let players fine tune the controls or at least get it to a point where it's tolerable. I've to reload and run the course several times to try to get the controls to a semblance of, well, control. I'm not saying the controls are terrible but I tend to miss the ring when I pick up the speed boosts. If I use the directional arrows, I always over compensate and go out of control. Yeah, I don't like the flying controls either. I have done the broom flying professor's tasks, but I did not enjoy them. Like in Skyrim I prefer to walk/run everywhere then fly. I was really looking forward to the mounts we would eventually get later on, but if the controls are the same as with the broom then I'll just run/walk.

Hogwarts Legacy
I completed the first trial and had the first care for magical creatures class. The latter might become my happy place, when I'll be able to have my own creatures later on. I also met the hippogriff Highwing.

I finally got the unlock spell doing the Moon quest. I'm not one to fiddle around with it even after watching a YT that shows how to do it so I use auto unlock. I also checked into the professors' rooms when there's opportunity. There's one I'm most suspicious of because of the events that happened. I couldn't get into the second room because it's a UL level II. I've only UL level one. I'll get in there eventually. Hopefully, there'll be information.
I came across more of those moth frames. While doing one that was facing two suits of armour, I heard a loud crash behind me. I turned around and one of them was in pieces with the second stomping back to its stand. 🤣 I guess it's tired of its companion's constant humming. Too bad I can't put the broken armour suit back together. I'd love to see the response. 😁
I've also finished Beast class and moving off into one of the hamlets to get a troll something for one of the professors. I've already a couple of hamlet quests. There's one that has to wait because the creature is level 30. Arissa is level 22 at the moment.
The First Trial is also completed. Now I've a list to look out for. I did one of the ancient magic spots before the Trial as I came across it accidentally.

Whilst I'm planning on diong Ravenclaw first I may see where the sorting hat puts me as I may leave it to the sorting hat when I do get round to playing. Because assuming I do multiple playthrough's I'll likely be doing all 4 houses anyway eithe rway looking forward to learning some magic.

There's Armor of the Devout it has two sets of the same armor, one restricted to Leliana and another for the player It only gave me one set (the devout and it's only useable by Leliana) or is the 2nd set the one called The Pious and I have to download that one as well. I've no idea...it's been a while since I used that mod, I do believe one set is in the Temple of Sacred Ashes, but I've no idea which one (read the mod's description and apparently both sets can be found there) Dunno why it only gave you one set

Witcher 3Ugh one of those things because didn't update gonna jam in a lot of stuff into a short period of time. But found the Enhanced Tawny Owl finally. It was out while looking for the final witcher gear wolf stuff because I hit the right level where I could craft it level wise. But then I do not have enough material for the chest piece. I also find it a little weird that the bonuses don't apply till you have the grandmaster gear...which is obviously not in the base game. Also finally decided to track it down and apparently White Gull is not available in the game accept to brew it and I do not have the recipe so cannot make any of the superior gear. And well from there...basically finished the game. The boss battle with Caranthir was great, with Eredin still stinks, Avalach's 'betrayal' is silly in context, and Ciri becomes a Witcher with Geralt which led to some interesting things in the end game. There was actually an interesting political bit in that to. What I thought would happen and what I was trying to get to happen was for both Redenia and Nilfgaard would kind of get screwed over and would sort of be in a lot more weakened political positions. What was supposed to happen Djisktra was dead, Radovid was dead, the trade corps were nipping at Emyr's heals so he'd be rendered impotent without an heir...just like the game said. But with Radovid dead Emyr was able to take the entire North except for the vassalized Temeria. And Emyr also secured his position via murder most foul. Kind of an oops on my part. Though honestly Emyr is still the lesser of two Evils because he is kind of that 'enlightened Empire' thing. Willing to work with mages, willing to nominally free other realms and then work with them. It is obviously still evil but compared to Radovid and who knows what will happen with Emyr's death and still not so sure if Ciri would make a good substitute, at least logically. At least Cerys en Craite is doing well for Skellige. And yeah this does make me want to do a playthrough where Ciri can be Empress and see what the game says about the enlightened rule of women *cough* On the flip side though it was becoming a noticable pattern as the game and conversation with several characters was making it clear or setting it up like Ciri will be the Empress and how this wasn't that much of a kept secret. That does make some sense of course but just wonder if CDPR just didn't consider the other option. Only character that seemed to acknowlege the alternative was Phillapa Eileheart who did mention that I would probably take her off to be a Witcher. Then it got annoying a little because she then talks about taking Yennefer and leaving Emyr to her tender mercies. Which of course Yennefer then mysteriously does on her own, but then Geralt can't warn her. Sure A. I could see Yennefer doing it and B. could see them wanting to do it in spite of that but kind of curious what might've happened had Geralt been able to warn her. Ghost Recon BreakpointPlayed more with wife. Early bit was rescuing SKell. I was a bit curious if you could do that mission 'backwards' but you could not. The vent does not allow you to sneak in the backdoor. Esentially though some more good tactics followed because we kind of bypassed much of the base only killing a couple of snipers. The plan didn't really work well as they found the snipers body though and then tried crawling up our butts. This did allow us to actually get a rather unique ambush position on them and for one of the first times I used mines to take them out. Next bit was worse tactics. One of the more super elite faction missions, hunt down an enemy commander. So there were a lot of boots on the ground in the AO. Kind of took out the commander early with a shot from the 416 as he was standing in the middle of nowhere but wanted to loot everything...and wanted to get to the building he was standing at in the center to have a better shot at clearing out the area...but that didn't work out as I shot at a second officer, thought he was alone, he wasn't, things went to hell, a drone car intercepted us, and then two heavies absolutley wrecked us. Ugh. But commander was still dead yey. Final bit was basically hunting down the SVD which was in the middle of a behemouth area. Decided to engage the behemouth which was a struggle. It kept doing fart poison bombs on us. But we got it after a very extended fire fight. Started to look for another sniper rifle, also for wife since she has liked using it so far.

Hogwarts Legacy I chased down the demiguise. There're a total of 31. I got the required nine and 13 to get LP II and III. To complete the quest, I have to get the rest which I'll do later. Boosting LP to maximum would make quests with LP that much easier and getting into locked places for loot. There isn't much to do regards SQs. There's the level 30 creature to kill and the flying keys of which I've yet to find the remaining nine so I advanced the main quest which required helping a goblin to get an item from a tomb. There're a few puzzles (not difficult) and undead to kill. Arissa has advanced to level 24 that the loot from the tomb are mostly useless and only good to be sold for galleons. I've yet to get the loom. The item was stolen by thieves so Arissa went after them. At their camp, she found they were attacked by a troll. I chose to go invisible and watched the battle as I wanted to find out if this fight would persist (meaning they remained immune to whatever they were doing to one another) and required the player to interfere. As it turned out, the thieves whittled the troll's hp to half before they were killed. I dropped the invisibility spell and killed the troll. I'm enjoying the combat. Especially using the spell to yank weapons from enemies and throwing it back at them. Lifting them in the air, twirling them and punching them away is fun. 😁 Larger enemies like the troll cannot be lifted however so it's down to dodging, flinging up the shield to throw back damage at them and so on. Arissa learned a new spell to yank enemies to the ground. This will be useful against flying creatures which she has yet to meet. I suspect she will meet them as she progresses. I like this outfit. Arissa looks neat. 😁 This could be the best one of the lot. Well, for my taste.

I finally unlocked the Alohomora charm - finally my little cleptomanic Ravenclaw can enter anything (well, not quite yet, I can level teh charm, it seems)
I love this hat
And this is the favorite pic, I have taken so far - did I mention, I love hippogriffs?

Hogwarts Legacy
To my surprise, I got an owlmail from the person who put the demiguise. I thought it would be revealed after getting the rest of the demiguise but apparently not so. I wonder why he did that though. I should ask him. I can think of one reason though.
I got the bag to capture beasts and the place to put them. I appreciate that it's not necessary to buy feed for them as the amount in the inventory stay constant and that they feed on the same item. Having the beasts got me the Loom. Yay! Now I can upgrade Arissa's clothing. Nice. Now I can rescue the beasts poachers grabbed. I came across two of them much earlier but could do nothing because I didn't have LP to unlock their cages.
On the Loom I upgraded a piece of clothing, put improved concentration and fire damage on another two pieces. Will have to explore further to get more beasts loot for upgrades. Looks like the main quest will be deferred since I think it's time to open up more of the map. The broom is very handy. It's fine and fun to travel on it for exploration. Not so fun for competitions.

I re read it and I think it gave me one set because I ran the script to add it and then noticed it said they would be in a chest at the Gauntlet. You must be able to only get the one for Leliana running the script and in the shest must be a set useable by anyone. No worries, thanks for pointing me to it I have settled on my all black leather ATM but may change to that later or give it to someone else as using olnorton instructions with the Winter Forge I unlocked it being for Leliana only. Thanks to both of you.

Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight. As expected I loved it. Favorite song was Deep Mentality (Lotus Remix) because the beat was bopping, adored Junpei's body language and Fever time was just chefs kiss. But liked all the other songs as well. Cleared them all on normal but had to go Easy for decent scores. Thankfully the score achivos could be done on easy so I could nab them all. Had a blast getting different fever times and costumes (and love love love that they had opinions on them). So moved on to Persona 4 Dancing all night. And a long rant about buying the damn thing. Had to twist some arms for them to take my money since I got and downloaded 3 and 5 ages ago so the refund time had passed and you can only get 4 bundled with 3 and 5 (which you can only see in the tiny description but the icon only implies 3 and 5) and since I had those I couldn't buy the bundle…and granted the regular price of 90 euros is a big sum of money for stuff you already own but when its on sale for 20 euros it's an easy hit so take my money damn you.
Even bigger slap to the face that the bundle is three separate games either way so just freaking sell 4 on its own you cowards. So had to make a whole new account, just to buy 1 game... Thankfully I can play it on the main profile, so that's something I guess.
Game is a blast though. Youtubing it would've been such a disappointment. More story based than 3 so really enjoying the plot even if the songs (so far!) are a bit less enjoyable than 3s. Still bouncing in my seat to the beat mind you. And that final touch by the persona And haven't even tried out free mode. And the game is 3 years older than 3 and 5, so no wonder they got better. So that will be my next obsession for a while.

The Withcer 3
Started Hearts of Stone.
The 'Wild Ones' are a little...funny. I hate that stupid laugh. Also Olgeird and the statue was a little on the nose. And that one lady who was like you can't refuse me' 'well watch me biyotch.'
Of course bumped into Shani in the sewers and assaulted the monster in question. It is actually a bit weird, in hindsight, given A. the RPG of the game and B. how smart Geralt is about such things that he didn't even feel the need to try and investigate? Sure it was a fairytale ish stupid woman thing but stranger things have happened...roll credits. The toad though has to be one of the chesiest boss fights ever though. Did get it in one go however, but yikes it kept on jumping up and knocking me back.
Met perhaps the best antagonist in the Witcher...Gaunter frickin O'Dimm. Though wonder who people like more? Him or Detlaff. But creepy from the start and later listened to those children. At the very least I think Geralt would be under the impression that he was a powerful mage or magic user given he was able to summon a storm. And that poor guy...
The Ofieri mage is also similary cheesy. I do find it interesting how mage combat is working in this game with him just swinging his staff around and then conjuring magic, bit of a glass canon, though I suppose that is typical.

Hogwarts Legacy
Finished another race. I'm getting the hang of the controls from using the broom to fly to unexplored places. Still, I fly rings around the balloons when I'm supposed to pop them. 🤣
I cleared the region north of Hogwarts; treasure vaults, Merlin challenges, bandit camps, ancient magic spots, creature lair, balloons. Also finished the east and now starting on the west. There are more regions to the south and south east.
Merlin challenge is now at the last badge. I've to get 20. Ancient magic, I've opened up another bar. Flying keys, down to three.
I discover traits can be stacked which is good. I hardly use Chinese cabbages or the Mandrake so I mostly emphasize concentration and more damage to attack spells like fire on the clothing buffs.
I've also finished the demiguise quest by talking to the fellow who put them up. I thought it's one of the teachers but it turned out not to be so.
Arissa is level 27. Three more levels to go before 30.

Hogwarts Legacy
I did meet a goblin, who can help me against Ragnok. He asked me to retrieve an old goblin-made helmet, which lead me into a creepy tomb full of inferi and to an Ashwinder camp. Luckily, they were just attacked by a troll and I had just to wait and fought the survivor . After that new quests rolled in - but sorry Sebastian and Siona, Deek promised me to help me rescue animals, so that was, what I did first. Now I have my first Vivarium full of cuteness - and a new happy place. I think, it will be hard to get out there again:
