Hogwarts Legacy
I did meet a goblin, who can help me against Ragnok. He asked me to retrieve an old goblin-made helmet, which lead me into a creepy tomb full of inferi and to an Ashwinder camp. Luckily, they were just attacked by a troll and I had just to wait and fought the survivor . After that new quests rolled in - but sorry Sebastian and Siona, Deek promised me to help me rescue animals, so that was, what I did first. Now I have my first Vivarium full of cuteness - and a new happy place. I think, it will be hard to get out there again:
Wait, you can rename them????? I missed a feature...!!! More time in my vivarium tonight I guess. I need to improve the deco anyhow. Yeah, you can rename them. Saw that in Wolfhearts stream.

Back with Dead Space. Finished Chapter One. Got to a store to see that I had a number of suits I could choose from. I chose the one in the image for now. I will likely change each time I visit the store. At the rate I'm playing, I will likely finish the game by the end of spring. ha

I was wondering if the hippogriff would be faster than the broomstick. Nope. He's not. I picked up the telescope too and opened up the gateway to the arena. Sheeeshh. Arena. Nah, not going to bother with it.
Arissa is now level 30. Time to hit that level 30 critter!

Once more from FFXIV Last night we tried to clear the most recent Extreme trial, had half of our static there, and then filling in with party finder as necessary. We didn't clear, since most of the time spent there was reprogging party finder people to where we got fairly early on, which was having half of the party stack in the middle, half going to the edges of the arena, all the while dealing with a AoE attack radiant outwards from either cardinal or intercardinal directions. At least it was decent practice. And unrelated screenshots

Witcher 3Huh. I missed the fight with Olgierd. I think it was because I was being more intent on investigating why they wanted to kill their guy and well the guy probably did have it coming, though Olgierd took a sword, I guess it wasn't needed to fight the guy when you know he's already immortal. Though my wife was making a lot comments about how horrible Olgierd was and well...probably a conversation for another time but Gaunter is worse. Mind you it is something I've never done before turning him in, and well Gaunter is so grateful he gives you a boon...which is interesting in the grand scheme of things. So Olgierd cursed the toad prince in the first place. Got a feeling Gaunter played a part in that. And there is something weird going on with the timeline, at least for now..although it did answer the question as to last time why I wasn't able to lift said curse. Anyways though from the dialogue it sounds like Olgierd was cursed for years and well perhaps a great many years. However the Olfieri just go looking for their missing prince...now? Either there is a bti of a plot hole in how lazy the Olfieri are or the timeline is a lot more condensed then I thought it was. Really I think the former now that I am remembering more of the DLC. Its also interesting that despite how much he is clearly suffering he is also in no hurry to end his 'suffering' and pay back Gaunter O'Dimm though granted maybe he knows that he is in for worse treatment...see probbaly me going to save Olgierd because no one deserves that fate. Hmm kinda gave away the game. The second thing I did was did hit the Oferi runeright with the needing of lots of money. Kind of on a lark I decided to do the tressure hunt for his merchant friend that was in the camp and well only reason I really did that was I am just hoping for a kind of pay day to help me afford the runerite or at least defer the costs, and it may've paid off but in a much different way as to what I was expecting. Ghost Recon BreakpointDid the base with the sniper rifle my wife wanted. And it was a bit of a fun experience once we got there. I can be methodical when I want to, but she's really methodical. But then as I noted it is a good day when you don't take any return fire. It was on the Auroa power plant which is a mission for the DLC, but also an area where I have had some trouble with in the past and the sentry turrets. Got a bit bold at times taking out a heavy, but it was making me nervous, also destroyed the generator on a shot which took care of a lot of the defenses of the area. From there she sniped, I did a ground sweep before we finished in the central building.

Sticking with Fifa atm. I have done a couple o fseasons but trying to get a team from one of the big leagues to signme but haven' thadany luck yet on my current Fifa 23 save. I hav ebeen winning a lot of trophies an din fact won evrey trophy on offer at Benfica i nm ylast season as I won the Portuguese league and cup as well as the Champions League in my Fifa 23 save. I'm hoping another season like that and I'll get an offer. I'm thinking I'll stick with Fifa and try until I get lucky for now. I'm still planning on playin th eother games I have planned I'm just pushin gback on them a bit fo rnow to give myself a chance to achieve some fun things on Fifa. I am aboutto compete for th eWorld Cup though with Iceland so that will be interesting s owill try and win that. Was planning on steppin gdown as Iceland boss after wards t otake on a nwe challenge on the intrenational front. I don't know what yet as it'll depend on what offers I get.

Hogwarts Legacy
The level 30 spider was killed. I'm glad I did it because Deek's quest sported another spider just as big. I chose to stack Diffindo three times with concentration III stack twice. The Diffindo slash is pretty big. I think it ricochet too because I threw it at a spider standing at the opening of a winding tunnel and it bounced off and hit a second off to the side.
The second biome for the vivarium open after Deek's second quest was completed. I put a purple toad in there though I'm not sure it fits since it's a coastal area.
I learned the first Curse spell, Crucio, from Sebastian doing his quest. I was of a mind not to but then decided I should since he offered to teach it. I'll use it on the spiders.
The Second Trial is completed. I find the puzzles pretty fun to do. 😁 I still can't make up my mind about someone. I think this person will turn on the MC, displaying their true colours near the end. I'll be glad to be proven wrong though.
The season has changed. It's now winter. 😄

Wait, Deek's quest involves another not-Aragog? Good thing I avoided it. Honestly, I don't think I can do that, or the Absconder, even with the mod.

Did some more Merlin Trials, helped an old lady solving a puzzle fought soem kobolds and made it to Sebastians hometown to visit his sister. From there Seb and I looked around an old estate for clues, what might have happened to his sister and we were back in teh Undercroft. After that I attended astronomy lesson and fed my animals.
This is Sherlock btw. , my favorite Puffskein (I mean, they are all adorable, but he is the only one with different fur color)
And exploring with Sebastian

I started up Guardians of the Galaxy. Its been fun so far, only up to chapter 3 though. The only real complaint I have is the save system is terrible. Autosaves overwrite manual saves. So if u trigger something that forces the level forward before exploring it autosaves and you can be forced out of getting stuff. And only way to go back is to finish the chapter, then do a chapter restart from the main menu..

Deek wants to teach breeding the beasts. I hope this will result in more beast byproducts because buying them is expensive.
"Commander Cullen" is in the game. 😛 Can't mistake Greg Ellis's voice.
Bad news for those who do not like spiders because a NPC at the tavern will have a quest about a hamlet overrun with spiders and the MC has to find out why. Moreover the south east regions sport the matriarchs. Yup, they're out in the open at certain spots. I don't suppose there're even bigger ones in the south eastern lairs.
The Crucio curse is very handy on the spiders, especially the matriarchs. It takes them out of the fight for a few seconds. While they're out of action and taking damage, there's space and time to take out the other spawns. Although I intended to use it on the spiders only, I used it on the poachers too. Especially the stronger ones like the executioners and those in top hats. I spared the goblins though. At most, I'll shove them off the ledges / platforms. 😛
Arissa has just learned bombarda. More BOOMS! 😁

Ugh, F12 decided to not work for screenshots so had to use photo mode instead. I only ended up with 2 because I kept hitting F12!
Did the last few prep quests before the final battle, which I'll leave for tomorrow. Talked to Ermion after taking out Lugos to get some hints about where to find the Sunstone. First talked to the whale watching poet who refused to help (and he missed his whale sighting) so had to find the pearl divers. Got a general direction so headed back to Yen and Ciri, who then wanted to go ransack a lab Avallac'h had mentioned. So, after finding the Elder Blood family tree and being insulting by a very pedestrian-looking elf, Geralt and Ciri trashed the placed while Yen looked on disapproving. However, Yen had her own fun, which I only noticed for the first time this PT and got good laugh out of it. This is where photo mode came in, because I had to capture this before I forgot about it. Take a good look at Avallac'h's face
Afterwards went with Ciri to bury Skjall, then headed off to meet Philippa to search for the Sunstone. Made a point of picking sea routes that passed by ?'s along the way and collected a few smugglers' caches while killing what seems like hundreds of sirens and drowned dead. Found the Sunstone - the mirror puzzle didn't take me near as long as it did last time! - then went to see the emperor about Fringilla. With her released, everything was ready for Avallac'h's plan to summon the Naglfar.
Then of course I forgot AGAIN that F12 wasn't working and took a bunch of screenshots (that didn't take) of Geralt and Yen talking about what comes next. Ugh.
Sidenote: GOG keeps telling me to update but it won't update, and the download link is only for version 2.0, which is old. How do I get it updated? My current version is 2.0.57 from Jan. 24 but the latest is 2.0.58 from Jan. 30

I wish the devs have put in some few choices for the players. There's this one on-going quest that actually irritates me because it's always the middle ground. I feel as though I'm playing a character with no stance regards certain subjects. That's she saying one thing to one person, and something else to the other party to have them think good of her because she supports them.
I want to pick a position / firm opinion and tell one party; no, I cannot do this. I do not want to do this. OR, I want to do this because I see the benefits, etc etc.
This particular quest can have far reaching consequences. An experience that can greatly impact the characters from which they will learn and develop further or fall by the wayside.
Alas, from what I'm seeing, I think it'll be more of a; this matter took place, something happen, everyone moves on from it and nothing else is said. I may be wrong since I've not finished the game yet.
I've completed the required Merlin trials. There are more in the south eastern regions. I'll do them when I see them irregardless.

Witcher 3Today was a day of dealing with a lot of bugs. A cave full of aracnomorphs, and then some endrega. Including one really big sniper. On the flip side of this or a side note now that I am actually getting into PC gaming not by choice, I must say I think a few mods would not go unremiss...find it difficult to look at the screen when they are on sometimes. Other bit of the day was me getting very rich, like 31K gold...and then very poor down to about 4500. I actually went ahead and got all the stuff for the runerwright and his gear that he needed, plus the translations for the Oferi armor. Also I actually did take him up on it, actually pinned it so I was able to find the runes I needed to get the bit that upgraded the range on your whirl and rend. only a level 2 and not sure how beneficial it will be but a lot of my time with Whirl is spent flailing around so it may work in the end. We'll see what I do from here if I do. Oh and got a Mastercrafted silver sword to... Ghost Recon BreakpointOur communication was really on point as we hit the garbage dump. A lot of bad guys on site as we just worked our way through. First off by a back door of a bit which led to a sort of platform in the back, we first had to clear a group of three out and then the sniper on the top of the platform. Funny moment happened as we were getting the generator, I was throwing a c4 down on it because I really wanted to but wifey just disabled it on her own. Was a little dissapointed. But then she got up to sniper overwatch on the very top of the building, took out a group of four, then the helo guy. About this time we got noticed because she missed her target, I killed the heavy and she eventually got the guy. Also on the way around rescued a hostage which was being harrassed by a sentinel guy. And looking for the outcasts just when I asked my wife to try and look up where they were, I just blundered into their base. One last base on the night as we went into liberty, looking for the Mawl-Da, best laser pointer in the game. Kind of had a miscommunication so we had a 'divided team' situation for a second, she approached for one way I approached from the other. It was going kind of smooth there for a second but then when I went to go to the intel guy, I was spotted. Got into a bit of a firefight but managed the chaos. She made it to overwatch and started picking them off, I had to fall back but got into a little bit of a fire fight with them, two guys standing in a row. Won the fight without too much hassle. Just one syringe from me.

I would suggest not using GoG Galaxy. I have no idea if CDPR has fixed it, but there was vulnerability with the software for at least two years that they knew about and going by what I have read just did enough that it would be detected and not really fixed it over that time. wccftech.com/gog-has-had-a-severe-internal-vulnerability-problem-for-nearly-2-years/

At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

Time for a more calmer video, time for exploration on Naboo Capital and again to Mos Eisley:

Hogwarts Legacy
I did a few sidequests, like helping a goblin to free his mooncalf Biscuit from poachers, finding some letters for Siona, protecting a hamlet from goblins. After that I moved on with the main quest and helped Nattie to find evidence that Rockwood and his poachers are working with Rangnok. On the way we freed the hippogriffs Highwing and Caligo, who are now living in my second Vivarium, save and sound.
After that, the dreaded arachnophobia quest 'The Plight of the House Elf' popped up, the one, where Deek asks you to look after his friend Tobbs, who has a cruel master, that sends him into a spider cave to collect leech juice for potions. That cave is not for the faint at heart, but luckily, I have the anti spider mod installed, they are still there and attack me, but they look like wooden boxes. I can deal with that. I still flailed around very undignified when it came to the acromantula at the end - the knowledge alone, of what I'm fighting here, was enough.
The end of the quest is a bit heartbreaking.
I needed the anti spider mod, because I did want to help Deek, who I consider a friend of my character. He helps you a lot in setting up the Room of Requirements - the least you can do, is look for his old friend. But I'm slightly arachnophobic and the spiders in this game are just plain scary. And since I try to get a working relationship with spiders in real life, I don't want them be the bad guys in every f...ing video game.
After that, I needed some time in the Vivariums with my animals (apart from the 4 puffskeins, 4 mooncalfs and two bird creatures, I have two more puffskeins of a rarer variety, a niffler lady and the two hippogriffs)

Aaah. Acromantula at the end. Of course. I mean, someone already said.
So it's a boss? I can't just fuck off and call it quits? I have to kill the damn thing?
