And nobody saturates colour like Hrungr saturates colour Gotta stay on-brand... (And now you're making me wax nostalgic for Odyssey dazk ... ) And now, after 300+ hours, I've finally managed to finish Pathfinder WotR. Secret Ending: Definitely a good one... but at the same time, a hard one to recommend to others. Very lore-heavy. Very mechanics-heavy. And very, very long. It's like several full-length RPGs rolled into one. (No surprise it only has an 11% completion rate. Honestly, that's even higher than I expected.) But it has a good story with plenty of branches and interesting companions (Ember must be protected at all costs!). Lots of replay value with the "Mythic Paths" you can choose, but... it's just too damn long!

Something to try with the Documents folder problems. Open up Windows Explorer (Windows Key + E) Under "This PC" look for the Documents Folder Right click and select "Properties" at the bottom. Look for the "Location" Tab at the top (for me it is the fourth one from the left) Set the location to where it is on your PC (it might be the "Default", but I never trust that). See if that helps. Thanks have tried before and again just now and it wont let me, it says something about being able to move a child into a parent.

Generally the only answer I've found fo rthat is uninstall an dreinstall but generally that depends on whether you want that headache or not. Right now I don't need tha theadache but everything is where I want it on my drives atm so I don't have that headache.

ACO Made it to Athens and took in some of the sights Met with Perikles, who of course had a laundry list of things for Kass to do. Turned Kreon down since she'd already agreed to help general something or other by taking out Sparta forts. Haven't got there yet though. Sailed to another island with Perikles' buddy, got hosed by a Hekate witch but sicced the guards on her so she didn't get her way after all. Took out another cultist who was holed up in a temple for Poseidon. I like the extra damage done via sneak attacks but man, waiting for the guards to move into a good position can take forever. I don't have that kind of time!
Did this yesterday. Haven't turned that one it yet. Here's the view from Ikaros, showing the 4 mercs after me.

ACVFinished up with Sussexe and rescued Sigurd from the clutches of evil. Or his awakening. And away we went. Porscetere is kind of interesting. Got off to a rough start. Was wondering if the game was causing BS issues with the oil constantly pouring down on the people dying. Took me awhile to figure out that you could destroy said oil pots in order to breach the walls. From there a lot of bad guys and a lot of different enemy's in the way which was kind of cool, gave it a sense of epic finality at least for this portion of the game and well at least for this plot arc. Had a lot of fun throwing people's weapons around killing them and a few different bits of archery practice. It did get tense as I ran out of rations but I eventually wised up enough to get through it. And then Aelfred's men coming later was a bit of a tense fight as well with a lot of mini bosses in the way, but focussed on the minor ones so I could get my adrenaline up which definitley helped...and Basim continues to kill steal. Despite maybe a few minor logical problems here and there Sussexe is largely a return to form for the game given all the issues with Dag and that stupid ark in Essexe. I either forgot or cheesed my way through the Fulke boss fight the first time so I forgot just how amazing it was. Real reversal of fortune basically having her do all the rogue assassin like things and striking from the shadows as she breaks the lights on you forcing you to chase her. And again that assassin scene is the best in the game as well, at least to this point. Really a lot of story. Fulke still ended up being a very competent and cool villain. Also with Basim here some interesting nuggets here and there as well 'Your cowardice betrays you Fulke'. It is kind of curious that A. I do not know how much he knew or how much he intended...but given the trope character...it is an interesting turn of phrase given that he was the one that did introduce them essentially and set up the whole chain of events, to say nothing of his larger revenge plot. He is actually quite bold in how much he is against her in this instance and not a bit of irony in the whole thing. B. Perhaps more itnerstetingly this has also put him in a position of trust with Eivor and the rest of them by coincedence of their mutual enemy. Sigurd got home and the dialogue from him is pretty much word for word this time as with the last time with no real regard for Randvi. Though given what he had to say about Dag I'm not sure he'd care exactly...I suppose we'll see. But she certainly did and Eivor and her have decided to go on a bit of a...break I guess? I mean first they say that they will tell Sigurd about them later and well she refuses to...couple...with Eivor. Which makes the attempts to couple all the more awkward. And it is one of those things to because man is the whole relationship really disengenious for the whole relationship that Sigurd and Eivor and how much Eivor loves and cares for Sigurd at least in auto dialogue. But I suppose that this is a thing that can happen in real life but it does make me a certain degree of uncomfortable.

Party time!
Now off on more wild goose chases. Are you just doing the main quests and the black and gold exclamation mark ones, there shouldn't be too many wild goose chases but there is a lot of go here to find information quests. Did you enjoy the party, did you accept Alkibiades invite?

Yeah, trying to. Plus hunting cultists in my spare time. I just one-shot Brison but now I have to clear the camp of all the goons so I can "make sure he's really dead" and get the clues he's hiding in his robes with no pockets.
Did you enjoy the party, did you accept Alkibiades invite?
No, not interested.
The party was ok, but mostly just a bunch of blowhards getting drunk. Nice to see Phiobe again though.

You should take Alkibiades up on all his offers it adds a some extra humour to those quests. If you haven't left Athens make sure you look around and do Sokrates quest (black and gold ones) they will also get Alkibiades in but they lead to other stuff in other places so will save you back tracking.

I definitel yplan to do the gam eagain wit hsome different choices because I think had I known som eof the outcomes I wouldn't have made them but still as a firs tplaythrough I quite enjoyed it. Back to my othe rgames I think tomorro wthough as I wantt oplay my deckbuilders Slay th eSpire and Midnight Suns also want to play some more Fifa and finish my ME trilogy run off as well. So over the next fwe days I think that's my target.

I got the first one, about forging a name on a list somewhere. I wasn't too enthused about it since I was already involved in voter fraud for Perikles. I've been roaming the countryside taking out cultists instead. Don't much care for the city life.
Each branch of the main quest has several sub-branches, and they all have sub-branches too. It's just too much.

Yeah it can seem a bit overwhelming but not worse than a lot of games. Yeah the Sokrates quests can be a bit tiresome but you'll grow to love him and you need to get them done to open some cultist stuff up, at least one I can think of. I just get the Athens stuff done to get it out of the way as I prefer the roaming and doing other stuff to Athens the first time.

My Time at Sandrock So been poking at Rosa’s save a bit. Currently she’s at the broken bridge bit, milling around while Heidi and Mi-an get their stuff together.
So for a laugh I tried asking Burgess, Miguel and Penn out to sneak a peek at their romance dialog. And the surprising thing was that they all accepted (different saves). Burgess was cute as expected. Him and Unsuur should really meet up and have a grass watching, paint drying party. Miguel was surprisingly gentlemanly. Which is neat. And Penn made some very sound arguments for being the romance for this run. Which is bad because he wasn’t supposed to be the one. But he made a couch. Out of the bodies of our enemies. A double cushioned throne. Aaaaaaa.
Nier Automata Some fun at the amusement park, collected stamps, saw a play and played with a creepy girl in the basement. Good times. Looked up fishing and learned they are money so broke days are over! Had a major expedition dump during a fight so naturally caught none of it. But at the same time, don't really care. Emil! My baby! Your music is awful. But still so fitting.
Had a repeat of fighting the Big Dude Who Just Won't Die. If the camera angles weren't such a mess and gray was not the only color it would've been so cool. Alas it's just really neat.
Lack of autosaves kinda sucks. Since I picked a cruel ending and found out the my last save was semi far back. Karma and stuff. Granted it's way shorter when I knew where the stuff was. On the other hand I get to redo the fight with the hammy pretty boy so that kinda rules. He's like the second best thing in the game so far, after the amusement park. And maybe Emil. Decided to try hard mode to spice things up and got 2 hit ko-d so no thanks. Also no lock on is also kinda nope. But took my time on normal. The final bits music is so dope.
Did enjoy the return to the factory. It had some fun bits with perspectives and stuff. Although it was a bit less exciting when I realized the big spiral things were not rockets. Granted there might have been rockets inside, but I don't know.
Did skip the next silly ending since I hadn't saved in ages and this boss was nowhere near as hammy as the other one, so less excitement to redo that battle. So instead finished Route A and started on Route B.
Kinda enjoying playing S9. When I can do the hacking minigame I do enjoy watching robots go boom. Also cathartic to kinda sorta one shot enemies who gave me grief in Route A. Also it's the return of backstory cutscenes, which I very much enjoyed in Replica, so nice to see them here. Trying to wrap up side quests I didn't manage in Route A, so while things are going pretty speedy it could be even faster. But having fun for the most part. S9 is a bit more chatty than B2 so that's nice as well.

So last couple of days played some AC Odyssey and cleared the island of Mykonos, did a quest for Sokrates and let the mad Malaka live. Killed a giant bear did all Kyra's quests and killed the cultist behind it all. romanced Kyra, yes I am a terrible person but she is the best romance in the game IMHO and Thaletas behaves like an ass so gets the end of a spear. Stupid Spartans and don't worry Stentor your turns coming. Plus the Adrestia got a new Lieutenant and Barnabas got a girlfriend. Pic's or rather tribute to Kyra Iola and the Bear - A Love Story Also played some MEA because the graphics all on Ultra and with my new PC really POP in this game, enough to make a grown man cry. Met this guy Liam personal space!!!!! Besides Cora's mine. Sara finally got a new look as I'd started the new game with my previous Sara. Explored a giant underground vault and restarted it to make Eos habitable. Met the Mayor of Prodromos

cleared the island of Mykono I have the quest for that island to find the Silver Griffin cultist but haven't headed there yet. I was exploring farther north, stopped in Phokis to do the Help a Healer quest (and get the Aphrodite achievement) and now I'm in Korinth where I started a couple of the Lost Tales of Greece quests. Plan to look for the heretae while I'm here but I haven't made it that far inland yet.
This game is not so good for my computer. It blacked out on me, and I thought it had crashed, but it came back up right where I was. Later when I shut the game down there was an overheat warning from the temp monitor. Wonderful. Now I plan to lower a bunch of settings next time I load up the game.

That's weird, even with my old card I never had any issues with Odyssey but i was not playing of ultra settings. Are you using an Nvidia GPU, if so do you use GeForce Experience as it can set the optimal settings for you then I just tweak them afterwards. Mykonos has some fun quests and you can pick up a Legendary Lieutenant for the ship if you do a certain quest right. I am currently parked in Korinthia as well. You can leave those Lost Tales to later if you want or just get them out of the way as they are good XP etc. I think it helps to decide to do whole groups of things like the Lost Tales. Especially if you are feeling overwhelmed with quests just to get the damn things out of your journal but I have become good at just ignoring the journal pretty much altogether.

dazk Great looking screenshots as always for both Odyssey and MEA. After I am done with VTMB and MELE I will replay Andromeda and continue playing Midnight Suns. Yeah I jus tstarted a new run o f|Midnight Suns today and played some Sla yhte Spire afte rfinishing Star Trek Resurgence yesterday. I' m basicall y alternating between Sla yth Spire Midnight Suns Fifa an dMass Effec tfor the nex tlittle while as I'm almos tfinished ME3 given I' mdoing the Citade lDLC there atm and thinking of doing a fresh MEA run after I'm done with ME3 At least that's m yplan fo rthe moment. I do plan on playing Oddysey mysel fas I do hav ei tin m backlog. It's just one o fthos esituations lik wit hthe Witche rsometimes wher I keep meaning t opla yi tthen ge tcaught up wanting t opla ysomething else. Maybe I'll play Oddysey afte rm ynext HZD playthrough as I'm feeling some urges to spend some time with Aloy again.

While waiting for the Storm dlc to release I got distracted. I'll continue my playthrough after VTMB since that's a shorter game than the Mass Effect games. I read awhile ago that you finished all of the dlc. How is storm gameplay wise. I haven't looked her up to avoid spoilers.

ACVSo basically fifty hours into the game and give or take start doing more of the fleshing out and going back details and remembering how this game works deal. Achieved my big objectives for the playthrough to this point, saving Sigurd, getting the impale, shacking up with another man's woman. So now going to start running around hitting zealots and stuff. And zealots with shields are a lot harder then those without. Kind of went into the first fight a little cocky because I had like a one hundred power level difference should've been enough to curb stomp people but I would be wrong. Still won but took me 3-4 rations to do so and it was close. Mind you started off a bit weak in parts. The next zealot with a shield though I got through it a lot easier with like 2 rations because started off stronger and wiser and more cautious. A few more without weapons and that went pretty easily though at least the first time. The second one knocked down like 80% of his health in the opening attack but he had a really long range weapon that kept knocking me back...but I got him. The thing that I had forgot is that you apparently need to do certain things in this game in order to reveal the other order emmbers...like dice championships or drinking games. Yeah...forgot about that. Then finished off and did the three Wolf animal in Oxfordenshire...bit of a difficult and annoying fight though being tossed around like a rag doll. But powered through it. Next up the daughters of Leirion which I thought was required to get Thor's hammer but maybe not? Also bit of a tough fight...to say the least. Failed twice and the annoying bit is it does not tell you their power levels so you have to guss where you are...and well was eighty over Goenril so yeah turned it down. And well difficulty can be one of those tough things to nail. Because one difficultyly level and was getting more arse kicked and the next instant just one ration used up. Granted I tend to be a big believer in like jumps of difficulty here and there like the first couple of difficulties should be really easy...then it gets harder. But that doesen't mean that gradient is always right either, but then the daughters of Leirion are supposed to be bonus bosses. Anyways though onto the next bit and finally wstarted the first round of the dream sequence in Asgard. And I did make a comment about how I enjoyed it and that is still true more or less but the first section of it by far is the weakest. No clear distinction or instruction on what to do with the seed...apparently blowing it up was the answer...and no clear disinction on where the water was. Had to just muddle through, while tired, which didn't help. I have realized that this game does not do such a good job of conveying information on my second playthrough. Though it is also curious to see on a second playthrough just how they go about teasing the mystery of the Aesir connection but also keeping it just hidden enough. Eivor in their role of Odin is obvious but Sigurd as Tyr was Tyr...I guess looks like a shorn Sigurd...and Basim is just enough different from Loki. Hard to put the finger on it exactly, but left enough that you could begin to get the picture, that was good writing.

do you use GeForce Experience as it can set the optimal settings Yes, I was using optimal settings, but I changed several of them to med/high instead. It's the CPU having the issue - it's just getting way too hot in there. Lowering the settings doesn't seem to have helped though.
