Yea hpicked the Brigh tmemory games myself in one o fthe last Steam sales. I haven't played it ye tbut I had heard of th egame I had heard i tw asshort an dlooked quiet fas tpaced which was my onl yconcen due t ono tbein gtha tquick on buttons. But with the discount price I thought it was worth at least giving it a chance. It is fast paced. I would suggest starting on easy to get the feel of the game. That was m yplan for when I eventually do get round to it

Saw some of my wishlisted games on discount at Steam for the summer sale - uh oh! I had the same reaction when I got notification about sale And since most games that are discounted from my wishlist are games my dad wants (he recently said he'd like to return to gaming and had a few old titles that he's interested in), I'll most likely end up buying them for him. Ended up buying a few games for my dad and he, in turn, already spent half a day playing Age of Empires II. So worth it

I am glad more people are trying the game. The game is a lot of fun. It's a shame it went under the radar and most XCom fans dismissed the game. I just like Marvel, and I always wanted to play a super hero game...so this is getting quite close xD
I'm still getting the hang of everything, but as I said so far I'm having a lot of fun

Played more Odyssey yesterday and even retrofitted PC doesn't like optimal settings very much, so toned it down to High from Ultra. Hopefully that helps. The heat wave outside isn't making it easy to keep things cool inside.
I'm following the main story, or trying to, but every time I find something I get sent somewhere else to find 3 more things. Finally tracked down the psycho priestess/cultist Chrysis and gave her a taste of what she's been inflicting for years. Also took out Midas in the middle of town and then ran away. Only 1 left to ID from that group but they are located 'somewhere' in Attika near a silver mine and I just don't feel like roaming the countryside to look for them.
Then went looking for Anthousa(sp?) for news about Myrinne. That led to a few sub more sub quests and my next task is to burn the Monger's warehouse goods. I think that's the last thing I need to do before she'll tell me what I want to know.
Ran into Antibiades? whatever his name is, the nympho guy. He tried again to get Kass to sleep with him and she again told him, not interested. You're too scrawny, man.

GW2
I finished Season 1 on my Spellbreaker and then I went to try the beta features (you can make beta characters to test them) and I discovered a cool Harbinger build that will be even cooler once the new features are released.
So I made a Charr Necro, used my level 80 booster from the expac and unlocked Harbinger. Set stuff up for my build and went around doing stuff to see how it goes.

I'm still getting the hang of everything, but as I said so far I'm having a lot of fun Yeah I like Marvel too. I have played other superhero games like the Batman Arkham games, but this is the first turn based strategic rpg type I played. I enjoy playing as all of the heroes. My go to hero early on was Captain Marvel she is a beast and can handle fallen Venom. Glad you're enjoying the game.

Ran into Antibiades? whatever his name is, the nympho guy. He tried again to get Kass to sleep with him and she again told him, not interested. You're too scrawny, man. The Silver Mine is in the very south of Attika you can set a FT point near there but you only get the mission with the Cultist if you do Sokrates/Alkibiades quests in Athens and Delos which you will have to go as part of some quests you get in Mykonos and do "Trouble in Paradise" the quest where you get a letter asking for help from some Rebels. Anthousa's quests are a bit of a pain, you should see a quest for Alkbiades there as well, it can be pretty funny but if you didn't like the Eyeball/Goat humour maybe you won't like the humour in this one. melbella you should have slept with Alkibiades every time, the outcomes and his and Kass's lines are great.

So finished Odyssey in terms of the main story and sealing Atlantis over the past three days but have not been posting for melbella sake. Got the supposed good ending as I wimped out on a couple of tough decisions I was going to make. I played mostly the last couple of days to complete a few outstanding quests but there are still plenty of the main side quests (black and gold exclamation marks) that I have only partly done or chose not to do at all. Got to the final stage of the Spartan and Athenian General's quests but just cannot be bothered taking down more forts just for the XP which was why I kept playing after the end as I was not far off completing another Mastery level (96). I was sorely tempted to grind daily's and complete the other quests to see if I could get to 100 but have had enough. I am going to pick up a left off MEA PT as I want to see how pretty the game after Aya is with my new GPU and the enhanced settings Nvidia lets me play with. Pic's I tired quickly of this heavy weapon but it was a sight to see Scenery Everything after this has spoilers melbella Kass at the Olympics Kass v Deimos showdown Kleon got the slow death The big reveal, who is the Ghost? Saint Ceri This was a very well done mature poly friendly !!Femdom!! demo with sex scenes that were actually worth reading. Bonus points for mutual masturbation being a sex scene, so many stories are like "intercourse or bust" even if it makes no sense in a medieval world to be that casual about it. At first I was all over corrupting Kyros the priest, but Byrn the Paladin is a sweet submissive accepting guy who just wants Ceri's happiness and it's hard not to get a little softhearted for him. I'm quite pleased to see the description implies I can have all three of them, or just the two boys. And it's believable the priest would struggle with the concept of polyamory a bit. This was carefully written and lovely. I would definitely buy and play on release.

phoray Thank you for sharing. --- Finished The Last Hero of Nostalgaia (pronounced as Nostal-GA-ia). It is an action-adventure/Souls-like. The world is dying and only the main character can save it. The controls are rebindable, the progress is saved on exit. Can't exactly recommend or not recommend, thus not reviewing it on Steam - the combat is clunky and the backtracking is uncomfortable, but the location design is memorable and the weapon upgrade system is unique. Though, I had to edit the save file to enable fast travel (after trying to backtrack through the woods) and to fix a failed side quest (the time limit and the need to backtrack were not clear). Review: The story is narratively coherent, being both a satire and a love letter to gaming. Though, showing degradation via older visual styles is expressive, it also implies that more polygons are equal to quality. While the game refers to some of the industry developments, such as the rise of MMO RPG, it does not seem to address the crunch and outsourcing it to poorer countries, the loot boxes and gambling, and the intrusive DRM.
The combat reminds of the game’s primarily technical inspiration, but feels clunky in all aspects, as well as the movement. The hitboxes for some foes and weapons are odd, while the targeting/tracking is inconsistent - sometimes a boss goes straight past, sometimes in the same combo they do a 180-degree turn. Enemy AI and pathfinding are impressive - they can surround, attack from different directions, and hide (one specific type), but they also can hit through walls. The diversity of the opponents is adequate - most are specific to one region, some can be encountered throughout the world. The difficulty is mostly reasonable, with few points where the damage output, the attack speed, and the density of the encounters seem too high (the werewolves). Jumping is not possible.
The bosses have a wide range of attack patterns and abilities, with one of them including 3 stages, but overall almost all are too sturdy and heavy-hitting. Also, there are too few (5 mandatory, 1 repeated, 1 arena battle, 1 optional) of them and almost all are humanoids. It is possible to have an NPC assist with the battles, trivialising them, providing the respective NPC quest line has been progressed.
The location design is distinct and varied, from visuals to gameplay interactions - there are forests shrouded in deadly fog and dungeons filled with traps, mines and castles. While there are unlockable shortcuts, the lack of a built-in fast travel system and the general difficulty of navigation make backtracking extremely uncomfortable, but it is mostly unnecessary (3 times unavoidably during the main quest), except for restoring relics and side quests, including the optional bosses. New traversal abilities are added as the story progresses and, while their utilisation is minimal, add more depth to the exploration.
The Remembering aspect of the weapon upgrade system is unique and consists of finding a specific location the relic references and selecting “Remember" from the inventory screen, but if a favoured weapon has its memory location far or it is hard to determine, it makes it less powerful than the Remembered alternative. Alternatively, the weapon can be Unburdened - the same increase of the base stats, but the lore and special abilities are stripped. Another way to upgrade is more typical - linear damage increase and branching for different attribute scaling. This requires to unlock smithing firstly, then to find anvils scattered around the world to unlock higher upgrade tiers. Additionally, Remembering unlocks character-specific, Insight, bonuses, such as increased health or stamina regeneration.
There are several optional NPC quest lines progressing alongside the main story, which can also break if not done in the correct order before moving on with the main quest. Additionally, one of them requires backtracking quite far back, which is not clear from the NPC dialogues, and unlocks 2 optional boss battles.
As for the accessibility options, the controls are rebindable, 5-button mice supported, sprinting can be a toggle, the subtitles are available and readable, though not adjustable. The game saves the exact position on exit.
There have been very few bugs encountered an area didn't load once, an NPC didn't spawn once (the Old Man), foes regularly hit through walls.

silhouette
I fell in love with a silhouette named Derrick. I was grinning the whole time. I wasn't willing to see what I thought was the bad end by saying she wanted to return to the real world until I finished Jack's happy ending. And then it turns out our love can Isekai our chosen man to us. ❤️
The concept of falling in love with a silhouette was creative once I realized there really was art for the guys and it wasn't just a way to save on sprite costs. It really makes you focus on the guys' personalities from the get go rather than making you choose solely on their looks. I don't actually like very much what Jack looked like 😆 so it waa good I didn't have to look into his wispy beard face the whole game.
Also, discovered Android friendly ichio visual novels today. I feel dumb for not realizing sooner. I'm happy silhouettes are becoming more accepted for indie Otome, since I've been planning some? for my little story I've been planning for months now. I am still considering going spriteless, since I'm thinking it will mostly be epistory. Oh well. Time for sleep.
Edit: I forgot Kamaru. Horror? Not really. Dark I guess. Reminded me of Dexter the Serial Killer and Hannah somewhat. Just that two broken people with serious moral failures sticking it out together (on the happy? Ending anyway). Also on Android! Short, recommend.

Miasma Chronicles is kicking my butt hard... Still too proud to lower the difficulty further down to story. The game seems to heavily rely on stealth kills to thin the herd before having to engage the ones left that cannot be one shot killed with the one silenced sniper rifle I have. I'm always broke because what little money I make I spend on healing and grenades. So combat encounters boil down to stealthing around enemies for half an hour and save scumming after every kill because if your shot misses and the entire enemy squad is alerted you're toast.
It's still kind of fun to figure out how to survive an encounter but my progress is sloooow.

ACV
Finished the Isle of Skye. And no real twist that Kassandra was up to stuff all along, just did wait for Eivor to do it all afterall.
And this artefact did even give Kassandra a run for her money as well and caused some minor hangups as it reminded her of Phoibe. Do wonder if this means all of them do have their own powers basically? Then Eivor touched it and I do have to wonder what exactly would've happened had that little glowy bits had touched Eivor. There was that whole project in the Atlantis DLC but there is some stuff which could relate to Odin as well.
But with the island saved then Eivor/ Kass basically ends up crashing someones wedding, getting itno a fight, having a drinking compeitition. THe highlight does have to be the flyting competition which was a nice touch since for once it really wasn't a compeition. At least if you do it well. Always nice to hear Melisanthi again.
Finished up by traipsing over Norway to find Thor's hammer.

DAI I'm not sure why Solas doesn't like GW. I chose to cite the history of the GW during the conversation to convince Clarel and he disapproved. Why? Because they killed the Arch Demon, a corrupted old God? He has a huge stick up his ass regards the dragons in the Deep Roads. There're no discussion on whether there are other solutions to stopping a Blight which is surprising considering he's so big on visiting and watching histories in the Fade (this should have been an option) so he can take his disapproval and add it to the stick. I decided not to exile the GW. Of course Solas has great disapproval. Blackwall continues to sprout praises. I wish I could tell him to take a hike regards the GW. Solas with a stick on GW, Blackwall wearing huge 😍 GW blinkers. Guess who the Inq left behind in the Fade? It will never be Hawke.

I am glad more people are trying the game. The game is a lot of fun. It's a shame it went under the radar and most XCom fans dismissed the game. I just like Marvel, and I always wanted to play a super hero game...so this is getting quite close xD
I'm still getting the hang of everything, but as I said so far I'm having a lot of fun Yea hthat's the thing I love about this game in that it's asuperhero game that's not a button masher. Most Superhero games generally are even Gotham Knights isas much fun as tha tgame is as well. But yeah it wil take a littl ewhile t oge tthe hang o feverything as it does have som ecomplex mechanics butI will sa yit is easier than most turn based games I've played even the Xcom games which was this studio's previous work. But yeah it was m yGOTY for last year even if it did arrive a little too late t otake any awards. Thankfully the game does explain to yo uwhat everythin gdoes when you first use things in the game such as items an dhow the card system works and everything. The key thing is figuring out what you need to do at any given moment as you progress. It's one of the things tha thave made it so addictive t ome is that every situation is different as whils tthe story ma yalways be the same but wit hthe randomness of the card system the missions will never pla yout the same way twice. I've don eabout 6 or 7 playthrough's now since i tlaunched and it's stil surprising me on occasion. I am getting a bit better at predicting it's moves though and how to keep my heroes fighting compared with m yfirs tcouple of runs. I would say though that while Act 1 is probably the hardes t it's als othe most rewarding too satisfaction wise given Venom is probably the toughest of the bosses to fight given his ability to tie you down. I would also prioritise taking out anyone carrying the riot shields as they often use them to stun you on their turn so if you can try to neutralise them first or at least take their shield out. That way takin gdown the rest shouldn't be too hard.

I have played other superhero games like the Batman Arkham games, but this is the first turn based strategic rpg type I played. I enjoy playing as all of the heroes. My go to hero early on was Captain Marvel she is a beast and can handle fallen Venom. Glad you're enjoying the game. Yeah I've played other superhero games but they all feel very button mashy and pretty samey after a while. I d ostill like them though as I have played the Arkham games and a fwe previous Spidreman games and by previous I mean pre Insomniac and they kind of feel very similar after a while. I have go tthe Insomniac ones that go treleased las tyear on Steam but haven't got round to playing them yet. I did plan on playin gthem when the yreleased but that plan got cocked up when I was invited to beta test Fifa 23. I don't know if that'll happen this year with EAsports FC but we'll see. I am bus yplayin gFifa atm but that's mainly because I'm in a Fifa mood atm and lately I've been enjoying playing a lot wit hthe womens teams on the game this year. In fact I've been thinking in that I might just spend some time just doin gsome seasons playing with the womens teams on the game after I finish my current career mode. I will probabl ystill do more career modes on the game as I do habve another career moe setup but that's going t obae a moer generic asve and I'm also thinking of doing a player career save as well. The player career save I'm holdin gback on until I finish the manager career I'm playing as I don't want too many active saves on the go at once given I have a save for each of the women's leagues too.

You're in the 1st act how do you like fighting random Hydra then Fallen Venom dropping in? He made the first act brutal for me. I kept on flip flopping between difficulty settings.

Still playing Diablo IV. Trying to move the main story along but I keep getting sidetracked. I attempted a stronghold but the boss beat the pants off me - twice. Only later did I notice it was a couple levels above me so I'll go back for it later. First I want to do my class quest for unlocking a golem minion. I wonder if you can only have a golem active, or if you can add it to all the skeletons? Guess I'll find out. Next I need to go back to where I just was (why does this happen in every.single.game???) to explore a side dungeon I didn't know about until after coming back from the area.
I forget what happened to Tyriel at the end of D3 Reaper of Souls but I wonder if he will make another appearance. Jaden, my necromancer, met Inarius and she didn't seem very impressed by him.

So picked up my latest MEA PT (24?) where i left off after testing it and the mods on my new PC but it wasn't where I thought it was. So it was at a return to the Nexus after setting up Prodromos on Eos. So the investigation into Spender started so talked to Morda about that and spoke to Spender. Ran around doing lots of the other stuff, got the quest from the Gardener/Botanist, visited the Vortex 3 times and nothing happening, ignored the protesters. Got the quest to give SAM some math problems, ran them and almost killed SAM, spoke to some hackers via Avina. Solved some electrical problems, found a saboteur, spoke to Scott in his Coma came back to the Tempest and flirted with Cora and Suvi and PB after remodelling my Sara. The new one was too generic on some past PT's and the default. Then headed to Prodromos again (why not) and did the tasks to find the missing shuttle, returned to The Nexus and got Lito and Darkhet deployed. Headed to the other vault location and got road blocked by some bonehead know it all, SAM and Kallo pulled some fancy moves (sorry Vetra stole your line) and made a fiery landing on Aya. Got gawked at by the locals had a head to head with the leader of The Resistance and picked up a new crew mate who was informed no bigots allowed. Had a meeting with the crew that seriously is the cringiest part of the game for me. Moved on and after picking up a quest for Avelja and Sokha headed to Havarl, saw some space whales (just ask Izzy on Eos) and landed. TBC. Some Pic's the space settings and planets are even more beautiful with my new GPU and the upscaling. New Sara Mark 1 Mark 2 Mark 3 and Final (for now anyway )

I like this one. The second one looks a bit too old and the third one has blue hair?
Picked up Odyssey again. Lit the warehouse on fire and got some unexpected help. Imgur is being stupid and won't let me view my images or upload anything but I grabbed a shot of Kass and the other guy doing the power walk on the way out.
Edit: Here's the pic - it decided to work after all Then tracked down a client for one of the hetaera girls, and learned he was a target of the Monger. Phoibe was helpful and then not helpful for this part. Reported back to Anthousa and decided to follow her lead to fight the Monger at the theatre. Of course he would be a Cultist because it's apparently the popular thing to do in ancient Greece.
Next sailed to Mykonos to drop off the other girl and follow another lead. There's also a Cultist here - the Silver Griffin - who has a date with some pointy ends as well.

I liked the first one too but I had done that look and used that particular mod too many times so went with something a bit different and whacky. Still not sure about the hair myself it may well get changed but I was feeling whimsical at the time of creation and I am often to conservative boring when I make characters. I am also playing her as very casual emotional so maybe that also drove the hair colour it looks light purple in the game. Thanks for the feedback re number 1 though she does look pretty stunning and would be easy to recreate.
