dazk I have used FMM before, and I did set FMM to launch the game through EaAPP. I tried it with a simple mod that changed Cora's eyes to blue, but they are still brown in game. Anyway the mod I really need is the 1000 Remnant Keys mod. Sorry I am busy now will respond later No problem.

"Set that "Full Screen Resolution" in the MEA options at 2880x1620 and the highest Hz option it allows - should be 165Hz. "
When I did this the PC went nuts except at the lower Hz setting (I think 59Hz). I put it back to 1080p 165Hz In Global Settings of the Nvidia Ctrl Panel I have now turned-on Vertical Sync and will tomorrow turn it off in game. Should I then try changing the "Full Screen Resolution" in game up to 2880/1620 having done that or is it unnecessary if the PC's Display Setting is already set to that? You always have to change the ingame Display setting to 1620p too. Most games automatically match the desktop resolution. However in your case MEA was installed and set to 1080p before you changed the desktop resolution, so it remained at 1080p and you have to set it manually to 1620p.
How do you mean the "PC went nuts"? The graphics started artifacting? The image started glitching? Or just the PC fans went loud? If it's the fans - it's normal. You are doubling the resolution and your card can also input close to the 165 frames (that's what the "Hz" limit indicates). Bigger resolution = more GPU load. More frames = even more GPU load. So you increased both resolution+Hz, the card works much more, drawing more power and needing more cooling, hence the fans getting louder. By setting it to 59Hz, you decreased the frames to that number, so it naturally decreased the overall GPU load too and the fans went quieter.
You can decrease the heat and noise by a Power Limit, as I described above. But it won't eliminate it when you start using higher resolutions. I guess you are used to a completely quiet new PC as it wasn't working at full loads. But now you experienced how it would work and sound at normal loads and higher resolutions.
Another way to decrease the load and noise is by setting a different frame limit for the game in Nvidia Control Panel. If 165 is too much, reduce it to maybe 100 or 120. At that number it shouldn't affect the feeling of motion smoothness you are used to. If it feels draggy, just increase the number to find the sweet spot again.
Did you setup the ingame monitoring tools? To watch temperatures, GPU clocks, power draw, fan speeds, etc?
There is also the "undervolting" option in case you want to further reduce power draw and heat, but without losing performance. It's a bit more complicated to set, so for now I'd suggest the Power Limit option in MSI Afterburner - it's just a slider tweak and Apply button, without any further hassle. The 4070Ti will work great even at 75% Power Limit if you want to go as low as possible without any performance loss.

Sorry I am busy now will respond later No problem. Quick response is uninstall FMM and delete all the folders from where it is installed, it sometimes leaves some behind. I found copying the MOD folder to a new installation (trying to be clever) didn't work so you'll have to install all the MODS you want again and upload them to FMM. I have found FMM can be a bit funny if you have not used it for a while or something has changed. So I just uninstall and reinstall it.

Skyrim SE Fell out of the mood to play so I didn't but watch tv shows and read. Decided to reinstall Skyrim SE after coming across a video talking about installing 400 mods with one click yesterday. I went to Nexus and found they have a new section called Collections which is apparently packaged mods. Some which are more than 400. It took an hour to install a 400 mod collection and another few hours because I couldn't figure out why NFIS was not kicking in. I restarted a few times, trying to get rid of the T pose. It wasn't until I went directly to the Skyrim installation file and run the FNIS for players exe that NFIS began to work properly. However, I'm annoyed with the mod collection because now some of the female NPCs look like Japanese pixie dolls. Those who are supposed to be old, are not. They don't stand normally like a human would. Some of them would slouch with "sexy" poses, including the PC. I have no idea which mod has that particular pose because I would disable it in a flash. I took a look at the mod file and I can't tell which one it is. My guess they're all more or less integrated in a particular way that may make it difficult to disable without affecting other mods. It's tiring and tiresome so I decided to ignore the stupidity of some of the mods, much as they rile me.

Been adventuring around Riften for a while, enjoying the Indian Summer. I don't recognize this house. Is it one you modded in, or one I modded out? No, it's just Merryfair Farm north of Riften.

ACVSo despite me wanting to not dive into the trading post mechanics in this DLC it really does make me want to go do. And yes strictly speaking especially given if you don't really get any gear out of it it is grind, but it is honestly some of the best grind you could possibly have in a game since the mechanic itself is kind of arse but it pulls you in with the idea of naturally trading with far off lands and gathering supplies which would be actual work in real life. And it also does that thing where its easy to suck you in and go 'oh I already have the deed to the place so I am going to just go and clear it out' 'oh this place is infested by this druidic cult, going to kill them and get a trading outpost, good idea'. Of course part of the issue is you also have to, kind of at least, either severely grind or raid monastaries to get supplies to upgrade said base which may be the breaking point. Other thing I did on the grind front probably something I should have been doing and should do if I ever do another PT of the game but just do one of the eyes of reda quests in order to get the twenty opals, most bang for your buck, do it once, and then move on with your gameplay experience. That way you are always at least passively gaining opals if something comes along in the shop that you do want. And time constraints to made it so I wanted to do some more bullrushing rather then do any of the above really, but the one other note is I did find another Drengr while looking for the Children of Danu. And again another guy who was much higher level then me so I again cheesed him with kicking him off with the Kick of tyr though this was much later in the fight and the guy wasn't getting a strick in on me edgewise so probably wouldn't have been neccessary but got him close to the edge, had the adrenaline, and just wanted to see if I could do it. Off to finding the Children of the Danu and then getting Bairid blamed for poisoning of Flann's troops. Now I kind of get it but in this kind of situation the guy who poisoned the troops actually must be a really true believer to just stick to his guns like that. Second a dusting off the cobwebs of why I liked this DLC so much on my first playthrough was because of Ciara. Now pretty sure I didn't romance her first time with fem Eivor and not going to do it this time with male Eivor since the Randvi path does feel like a one woman type of deal...but man is it tempting. And largely for the same reasons with Randvi though honestly Randvi is probably the better of the two? *veers right back on topic* ANYWAYS. I do bring this up because its really nice how they do establish the connection between her and Eivor, and how her and Eivor could be a lot closer, given she is kind of the ultimate bad guy of the DLC though through tragic means...much like Detlaff or the Arishock. I think I have a type...of villains that is. Third though its kind of weird but I was just getting super frustrated with the Order of Danu clues and everything else going on with it. And its kind of weird since DLCs typically do try and do new mechanics or push mechanics foward and spice them up...and to be fair the trading posts. But still hunting cultists. Still taking forts (though in that case also spiced up a little to be better since you get XP for all the bad guys you kill). And still building alliances. But I was just sitting there getting super frustrated because it felt like I was having to go back and forth and flip through to the map and things weren't as clear...maybe its just me of course but don't remember having this problem in the base game. God of War Ragnarok. So lets see how this goes and how trading between these two games goes in the short term. Accessibility options. Interesting that there was no color blindness correction. The dual sense always surprises me but always seems to be a little too used sometimes but man is it gooda when it works...I just realized this is a Sony game no wonder they've been putting in the effort. And the HDR setting I really appreciated how it was under one general option instead of two this time. So usual stuff. Combat. TOok me all of one day to start digging it again, or at least liking it, and maybe this is the same thing with the first game but so far it is feeling pretty good in its own way. Uh, lets see here, again a lot of conversation has happened since I played the first one about adapting this game for Dragon Age's combat system and sure if its one to one I can see how people are concerned because its pretty much just Kratos and Kratos doesen't really have traditional DA abilities. But without going too much into it I don't think its going to be one to one. So how will they do this? Well maybe weight, maybe weaknesses, maybe 'press button to engage finisher animation after you fill up stun meter'. If they do this for DA I would approve and this is pretty normal fair since its also in Vahalla as well and could be really cool if they bring DAIs combat mechanics with it. The thing I find most interesting about this though is, for lack of a better term 'contextual abilities'. Abilities that do not go into the ability bar but if you are doing certain things, like sprinting in Vahalla, then you can slide with your bow and put an arrow in someone...or the bow stun finisher. Those sorts of things. In theory I really like the idea of this since the big complaint with these types of games is things like trying to make sure you have enough abilities and enough ability to slot said abilities to make it worth it. Some games have done great at this, some have not. But these contextual abilities just adds more layers of things you can do both in combat and just in general to give the player more to do to keep things fun and also just give you more abilities without giving you abilities (anyone getting drunk off the drinking game yet?) The trouble though is that with it being contextual its not always easy to get the circumstances to be able to activate these...powers. Becuase either you have so many contextual clues you just forget about them or they do not come up, like in Vahalla this PT I haven't done one Missile reversal, none of the sprint attacks, and no multi bow stun finishers. I've thrown plenty of weapons and did plenty of sliding though. Now this could be a me thing versus a pro gamer thing that meticiliously does take the time to learn and plan but...IDK if there is a real answer here but given what we have seen from the prototypes for Dreadwolf's skill tree I think we are going to see BioWare take a crack at it, as well as hopefully the return of Sustained's and doing stuff. I know getting ahead of myself but I've been kind of wanting to talk about this in regards to Vahalla for...a week or two now. Maybe not so much the DA angle but it has come up and I think about these things obviously. Which brings me to the levelling because its pretty basic levelling system overall which I think games can be better at but not sure how they can do it without creating worse problems, as I have stated, but again so far really liking it because it kind of does the whole Skyrim thing...best comparison. Where you buy these talents and invest in these trees but the more you use them the more powerful they become, the more profecient Kratos becomes, which is brilliant because its realistic and more games should do that sort of thing. Story so far. Having trouble connecting to the characters again and getting into the God of War headspace though it was nice seeing Brock, Sindri, and Mimir again. Bear McCreary's score is superb as always. And spoilers: Surviving ThimbelwinterFenrir's death was sad but do have to wonder where that is goign well...
Also the archive that Atreus/ Loki shows Kratos was just beautiful animation. Finding TyrI like it that Thimbelwinter is manifesting in different ways in the realms. Also Svartleheim looks nothing like it did in Vahalla...

Love the start and Habitat 7. Yeah, I really enjoy Habitat 7 and the game as well. Yeah MEA is a pretty game plan to start a new run myself onc eI eventually get back round to finishing ME3. Thankfully I don't hav etoo much more to d oin ME3 givgen I'm half wa ythrough the Citadel DLC it's jus ta case of getting back to it. Migh ttry t oget back after I d omy Dark Huntre on Midnight Suns as I'm kind o ftempted to alternate between MEA, DAI and my Griffindor I started ages ago on Hogwarts. As I kind of abandoned my Griffindor run to do other things. Plan to either play Fifa and continue either playing career mode or with the ladies teams or play my Dark Hunter today not suer which yet. I may in fact d oa little bit of both depending on how I'm feeling.

The Arcana (mobile visual novel for Android)
I got to chapter 3 of Asra. I've realized there is no plot outside of romancing someone. MC is supposed to be using magic to investigate a murder. but one of the LIs is the murdered person (so far unexplained is his ghost body?) and one of the LIs is the the accused murderer and absolutely no forward momentum is being made on that on Asra's route. Asra also mentions MC being trained by Nadia, another LI and I have seen nothing of that woman outside of a few dinner parties and have no idea what he's talking about
They also increased the price of choices from 150 to 200 coins. So now it will take 3 days for sure of ad watching (not that I'm actually watching them, just pretending to while I play other games)... just to move forward in the story. Keep in mind, 150 coins already costs $2 so.... Ya. I'm probably going to drop this one. I liked the little bit of story I was getting in Asra's route about their shared past. It was very magical and kinda random but in a good way, hinted at some angst I would have liked to explore. But trying to play it free sounds like too much work. What's sad is if they'd sold a route for $15, which is already ouch, or something, I probably would have coughed it up just to get resolution of what I started. But it seems like they want you to pay $60+ for a route and that is never gonna happen.

But it seems like they want you to pay $60+ for a route and that is never gonna happen. The story is very scattered across all routes. Or more precisely worldbuilding, since story is slightly different between routes. As for paid choices, imo few are worth it. Some hide really pretty art, but they don't bring much to the story. It does take a lot of time to play everything, especially if you want to get different endings as f2p. The best choice would be to wait for infinite keys weekend that they used to do occasionally. If they still do those of course, can't really tell since I stopped playing it once their publisher changed.

Legends of Heroes Trails of ZeroWrapped up my first run. The boss that stumped me last ended up being the biggest obstacle with the others going fairly smoothly. Ish. Not looking forwards to our next tussle though. Was a few points short of an ace detective. Like 4 or something. I cry every time. Started run number 2, but am skipping quite a bit and using a guide to be sure to grab all the chests/dp. Which is boring as heck so figure I’ll backtrack on that goal and maybe move on to Azure because that beautiful dialog deserves my undivided attention. Persona 3/4/5 DancingSo put Deep Mentality on my dog walking playlist today. Which made me need to see Junpei, then why not Yukari’s dance and then we can’t skip Mitsuru and some more Junpei then Haru cravings started and darn protag keeps stealing my heart and then can’t miss out on Yusuke top notch dancing and table top Futaba is too cute and now I need to see Teddie’s tap dance and then some fun with Yu and then Kanami’s turbo song and Nanako is there just being precious, Naoto song is also so good and need to see Kanji rock it a little and then Chie party and Dance! And then thank the Maker a distraction came and I was freed. Had a blast though. Improved on some of the songs, was woefully worse on others. My old costume choices killed me. Could handle Kanji leaping in wearing a speedo but Yu’s santa suit killed me. Do wish the graceful head lobster was a costume choice in the main game. Heck every game. The grace! C'est Magnifique!

Gw2Not even 2 hours left to finish the core storyline, solo dungeon included. Zaithan is dead again. Yourah! I switched my storyline to season 2. I'll started that tomorrow. I got all of July to finish the storyline on this character and have her ready for the next expac. That should be enough.

I found copying the MOD folder to a new installation (trying to be clever) didn't work so you'll have to install all the MODS you want again and upload them to FMM. This is exactly what I did. Although for me it was laziness on my part. Did you get it working?

Here's the world map, Achaia is in the very north west guides.gamepressure.com/assassins-creed-odyssey/guide.asp?ID=46912The Silver Mine I think you are looking for is in the south of Attika, if you want to get the Cultist you have to do all Sokrates (in particular) and Alkibiades quests in Athens. Sokrates also has one in Delos but not sure you need to do it it is relevant to Mykonos and Kyra.
re the map: Thank you!!
Boooo to the bolded part though. I don't wanna do them!

Ok so did some tweaking today. Firstly checked that the PC's Display Resolution is 2880x1620. Started MEA and set "Full Screen Resolution" to 2880x1620 @ 100hz - PC didn't seem to notice fan wise or temp wise. Resolution Scale is set to 1 and MEA is already FPS Capped at 100 FPS. EDIT I checked this and under program settings in the Nvidia Ctrl Panel MEA is capped at 100 FPS but when I start the game it runs at 100FPS but then for some reason drops to 60 FPS is there something else that would cause that? I have not capped FPS globally in Nvidia? The game does not allow you to set and FPS cap.Bumped the Hz up to 144Hz and there was an initial spike in Fan Speed and the Temp seemed to go up (I could feel the temp. rise and smell it) but it subsided to normal again within a minute. If my FPS is capped at 100 is there any point changing the Hz to 165 which is the max. for my monitor? I will look at installing monitoring software today, I tried MSI but felt like I needed to be a fighter pilot to understand it and I ain't no fighter pilot. I also looked at HWinfo and I cannot figure out what to install there when you hover over the "Free download" there are 4 choices and i don't know what I am choosing. Is there a simpler one? I think I have used Open Hardware before and it seems straight forward to download.

Boooo to the bolded part though. I don't wanna do them! They don't take to long although the main one to get the Silver Mine cultist can be a pain as it isn't clear about what's necessary. Sokrates will ask you to talk to a horse thief and he is in a secure area but you don't have to talk to him there you just need to stealthily get into the area undetected on a roof and he will run. Chase him, the guards wont try hard to follow you if at all and he'll eventually stop and you can talk to him. Over the course of the game Sokrates, Alkibiades and Herodotos and Barnabas will become good friends with Kass.

I really hate this guy. He's slimy and shady, and very devious. If I could skip his quests I would. But, I bit the bullet and did enough to find the playwright cultist guy, who is now a dead playwright cultist guy. That was enough to reveal the name of the sage for that group but I still have to find the silver mine cultist "somewhere in Attika" to finish the line.

I was trying to resist the DLC personas in Persona 5 Royal since they break the game, but once I came to the realization that I'm pretty much just using Shiki-Ouji instead, who is pretty OP in its own right, there is a reason why I used Shiki for probably half the game the first time I played. So the first DLC persona I used was Izanagi. It wasn't long before I had a massive amount of physical damage repelled back at me, dying in the process. I went back to the safety of Shiki-Ouji after that. LOL. I've been playing on Normal with the plan of moving up to Hard at some point, which I did at the start of the 4th palace. I also started using the DLC persona, Ariadne. Ariadne's trait, Tag Team, lets Joker use any item without losing said item after receiving a baton pass. So pretty handy if you are trying to complete a Palace in a single day. I'm a sucker for unique skills, Beast Weaver actually kinda sucks but I don't care, I love it. It does Colossal Physical damage to 1 foe but nerfs the players attack power for the rest of the encounter. Joker's "its educational guidance" unique combat dialogue for it cracks me up every time. Its Education Guidance. I breezed through the 4th palace, other than dying again from repel damage, the worst thing was the enemy had no health but I just wanted to use Beast Weaver again. Haha. The only real challenge was the 3rd will seed boss, that was a bad match for Ariadne, I had to switch to Kaguya Picaro for that. Speaking of Kaguya Picaro, I was pretty sure from my last playthrough that it learns either Null/Repel physical, so I leveled it up and it does learn Repel physical, and once you can Strengthen Personas, as Harkin would say, if you got it you might as well spread it around.

He's great, he's a sleaze but he's quite funny and yes a devious politician under all the shenanigans. You'll have to do the horse thief Sokrates quest to get the Cultist to appear at that Silver Mine in southern Attika, it is right down near the tip. If you sail down the eastern side of Attika you should be able to see a Fast Travel Icon on the bar at the top as you look landwards. It's right near there.

Yesterday I completed a lot of Voeld including the random quests and activating the monoliths but not the vault yet but did do the Kett Command Centre which is always fun. Voeld is very beautiful with the new PC and Upscaled Resolution etc. I hope people didn't mind me posting about the settings etc. I thought it might help others as I had no idea about that stuff. Thanks saandrig A few pic,s I have reverted to the first version of my Sara for this PT, the others just didn't work for me visually or feel wise. Voeld is a hard planet to capture good shots and especially to show how beautiful the lighting and enhance effects etc are. Armour detail is amazing although this is not that great a shot. A bit easier to see the Yvara if you know what you are looking for The Creepy AI and the lighting is beautiful - killed it. Lighting, detail and colour again Sara

Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight So as I started, I planned to clear easy difficulty first, then move to higher difficulties. They seemed to be either harder than easy ones in P3D or I was just too sleepy to actually play properly. After a couple of songs I decided to leave playing for another day, otherwise I'd keep wondering what's wrong with that difficulty difference. Only then I realised I wasn't even playing on easy. Ye, it was definitely time to sleep The next day I breezed thru those songs, so existential crisis about difficulty spikes averted.Did I put Joker in punishment cop costume right away? Yes, yes I did Do wish the graceful head lobster was a costume choice in the main game. Heck every game. The grace! C'est Magnifique! Yusuke greatly approves of this message.
