Heart Cage: Demo
I think it's originally a different language because the english writing is awkward in that sort of way. I was amused to realize the english voice acting stayed true to the grammatical errors to boot.
3 LIs, all guys, and all mentally insane. The first scene is a foursome of them all- talk about in medias res. I think one is a loving yandere and another a violent yandere and the 3rd, Enox, was the only one that I was actually interested in but he's weird too. The protagonist is a hot chick detective with the skills of a small child playing at detective. I can't tell for sure, this is just a theory, but I think her semi adoptive father has sold her to a weird town that possibly has a cult that wants her for some sort of sex dungeon cult thing. If it ever gets finished, I may read the reviews and see what people say. But as of right now, I'm going to forget about this NSFW craziness.

God of War RagnarokSo got the answer to my question, you can indeed go back to realms after you leave them the first time and aren't locked out of it. I do wonder if there will be any new stuff there. But it does seem like the 'first' time you visit a realm you are pretty much on rails to do the main story of that area or just go back to the original portal...probably. And on the Artreus combat front seems that bow strike Artreus deals on the stun finishers is just something he does on his own without being prompted. Still neat and feels good. Other things I discovered the man does tend to...dance...from side to the side instead of rolling and a lot of his power upgrades gives him some fun things including an arrow spear trick which lets him close with the enemy. Speaking of though also discovered that the 'R1' version of the Blades of Chaos on Kratos also lets you manipulate and yank the bad guys around, up, down, into walls, into Kratos. Another something to keep in mind. Old FriendsSo I was a bit on the sure side that Artreus would just head home afterwards but Sindri let it slip exactly where Freya was so Artreus was like 'yeah lets go there'. Oh and for some reason he has decided to start wearing the arrowhead that 'killed Baldur' around his neck...reminds me of someone...can't place it though *shrugs*.
I think I forgot to mention it a lot of this mission does take place in the areas of the previous game. Which is super neat and spooky because you can see just how bad Fimbelwinter has been on Midgaard. You can just barely see the top of the temple of Tyr, for instance.
Met Freya, that went about as well as expected, actually no a little better since Artreus was alive.
Big revelation of the time though that Sindri revealed that Brock died in a forge accident and he couldn't stand it so he went to Alfheim to retrieve his soul. And thus a incongruity about Norse religion now makes a lot more sense.
Atreus got home. Said he was peeing, for apparently a long time, Kratos didn't push it, which I suppose is the fatherly thing to do, and everyone ate dinner. The secret of Groa.Met the Squirel keeper of the Ygrdisil tree. That was fun. Also yelled at a bitter squirel who was bitter.
Next on the list was Aelfheim which blowing off cobwebs was a place we visited last time. I remember it looking majestic and pristine...it doesen't now. Even the Light Elves have kind of gone crazy and are now after us.
Some real interesting commentary going on here. Afterall Tyr himself decided to tag along despite things and is not exactly pleased that the Light Elves are attacking us and we are forced to defend ourselves but the man has a point. But during all this we are getting a lot of fascinating lore on the Elven situation which does tend to open up at least interesting possibilities. Apparently, long story short, the Light Elves have gotten drunk off the light and trying to not only protect it but use it. The Dark Elves want to restore the natural order. And there is a heavy implication that both forces need to be balanced but right now its all the Light Elves be doing the stuff. So there is an implication that despite the names the Dark Elves are at least the more even keeled of the two...but as Tyr points out nothing is that simple. Really starting to enjoy this game!

After duking it out with the giant frog and then a Bounty Hunter, we explore and clear most of these ruins inside an active volcano. What things will be going on next time?

Far Cry 6 Completed the story of Madragada (the first area). A nice mission where I was very glad one of my load outs included a rocket launcher. Opened the second area and found the...ugh...influencer/musician freedom fighter. TW3 - Complete Edition Ciri escaped the Wild Hunt in Skellige and Geralt helped Yennefer pacify a djinn He still loves her, even after the Last Wish had been lifted. Don't judge me. I like brunettes.

VtM: Swansong Finished. I think it would have been very good as a 'movie' with just a few tweaks. Didn't hit any progression block, so that was good. Satisfying enough end, although I completely missed the opportunity to uncover the identity of the Court traitor. Just in case; Leysha died before reaching Halsey. Stupid werewolf that Galeb released to clear out the SAD guards did her in.
Emem chose to leave the Camarilla - I was leaning towards the Anarchs until 'the plan' wiped them out, so she was 100% done with the Courts shit. A good time. But niche enjoyment, I think. Not a broad appeal, which is a shame. Congratulations I had a similar ending to yours my first time and I never found out who the traitor was. Luckily you can redo the levels which is why did so... with Galeb I used Domination on the female Malkavian to help me escape. Of course by doing this I never freed Galeb's childe Berel. In this retry since there was no werewolf Leysha survived and with Emem I joined the Anarchs. I suggest redoing that last mission. What was Galeb's fate in your ending? Both times I was able to break the Priests faith, thus making him lose his power and killing him. Prison I thought about using the Malkavian, but figured Galeb would consider an insane Kindred to be more important than a werewolf.
Knowing the consequences, now, I'd probably try another path. Galeb He survived, and killed Stanford. It was a close thing, though. I missed the 2nd and 3rd stages. One intentionally, because I didn't have enough Willpower/Hunger left to boost disciplines/skills.
Got there in the end, though.

Not a lot revealed in the EA sports FC reveal outside of what was already rumoured but they did confirm that both the German Women's Bundesliga and the Spanish Womens League are coming to this years game and that if you order the Ultimate Edition you'll get a weeks worth of early access. If I get selected for Beta testing and I like it lke I di dlast yea rthen I ma yge tthe more expensive version but we'll see. I think the first deep dive goes up tomorrow on the new gam es owe'll see. I like the fact the 're ading a couple more womens leagues as the womens leagues make for a nice distraction when I wantt otake a break from career mode but I'll admit I was hoping for more details but I guess they're saving those for the deep dives. I'll be picking i tup on the Xbox either way it's just a question of whic hversion atm for me atm i tlooks like the deep dives will likely decide that. Sounds like it's moer promising than I firs tthought as i tsounds like there's some bi gchanges coming t ocareer mode. Fo rexample you'll now geto hier you rown staff t ohelp train you rteam the wa yyou wantit as most managers com ewiththeir own staff ther's also a spectate moedwhere you can jus tmanage things from the touchline kind of like Football manager. They aer also adding for player career firs tperson view s oyou'll be looking and playing asi fyou aer that player stuff like that. Ther is more but those aer jus tthe basics. Presonally I like the idea of being able to bring in m yown staff and all that but I think I'd prefer t o control and play as the team just like I do on Fifa so hopefully they don't take out the bits that made the game what it is in tha trespect. But I have to admit reading that on th edeep dive and the rvea llast night is starting to edge m etowards the Ultimate version. I still hop eI gett obeta test it though but even if I don't it looks like EA ar makin gsom enotable changes enough to pique my interest at least as they begin the post Fifa era. I'm tempted to preorder but I'll wait and see if I get to beta test first and see wha tit's like as I know beta testing usually takes place in August. But I will say some of the graphica lupdates look promising as i tlooks lik esome of the graphics have been overhauled as well. It's still usin g Frostbite like the previous fwe Fifa's but the new Hypermotion tech they are using is supposedly 80 times moer poewrful than the version they used in Fifa 23 and Fifa 23 was looking pretty impressive in itself. The Hypermotion is basically the system they use to d otheir motion captue rand animate it in game t omake it look realistic.

GW2I miscounted yesterday, I had 3 episodes left in LS2 before Path of Fire expac content, now I have two thought. I finished the Head of the Snake today. Bye, bye Legate Minister Caduceus. The guy was just crazy. I also find it hilarious that the last mission map is the same as one of the dungeon and your character makes comments like " Oh that was me, I thought they would have repaired it by now". My Harbinger build continue to rock too.

I think it was olnorton who really explained the books to me and I kinda feel like as screwed up as their romance was, Geralt loves her and she loves him. I also like that she's ready to settle down with him, whereas the redhead is just gearing up for her career

Triss has her charms, but like you say she is very young compared to Geralt, whereas Yen is much closer to his age (maybe even older...? Not sure, but closer definitely). Their relationship is a bit messed up - inherent power imbalances will do that fairly often - but, in the games at least, the mere fact that she went to the effort of finding out if what they had was real means that she's a genuine partner for him.

At the end of the books, Triss would be at least 100, so older than Geralt, who was about 85, and Yennefer 10 to 16 years older than Triss, but no more. For some reason I thought Triss was ‘the age she appears’, and hadn’t done the magic to manage her appearance. Obviously not.

For some reason I thought Triss was ‘the age she appears’, and hadn’t done the magic to manage her appearance. Obviously not. Mages weren't considered adult until they were 100, so Triss was young by mage standards. But she was one of 14 mages that Vilgefortez chose to defend the north in the great war, so she wasn't a child. There was a herb that some sorceress used to slow their ageing (I forget the name of it) It had a side effect of making them nymphomaniacs. So Philippa, Sabrina, and Kiera obviously used it, but only out of vanity, as mages naturally aged much slower than non mages. Yennefer actually tells Geralt that she and Triss had been best of friends for a long time before Geralt met Yennefer. Triss had spent a lot of time with Yennefer, and knew her better than any of the other sorceress. At the first meeting of the Lodge of Sorceress' only Triss could tell from Yennefer's body language, what she was hiding from the others. Geralt would have known Triss most of his life, as she had been going to Kaer Morhen since she was a little girl. Yennefer by contrast, had only been to Kaer Morhen once, and wasn't well received.

God of War RagnarokI was just patting myself on the back for the fact that I was even starting to get more of the puzzles down and starting to smooth that out. And then I ran into another devil of a one. Which I had to look up. And its also funny too because with these kinds of games too with the wall running, climbing, or leaping mechanics they are easy to mock for the 'obvious structure you can climb/ or jump/ or run on'. But it does occur to me that the big problem with these puzzles is that sometimes the 'weak spots' to solve them aren't that obvious. . Even worse Artreus was all like 'here, look over here, this is interesting' I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT BOY! WHich is kind of a shame becuase this is the one sticking point in a game that is really starting to show some promise. Like this game feels like a natural expansion on everything from the first God of War game in this series. Maybe including the puzzles. But this game does feel like a natural evolution and expansion on the story and the theme's from the first game, the perfect sequel, and while it is harder to quantify the combat even feels much better then the first game too. Though on that subject its a bit weird given other recent ARPGs that the enemies don't really seem to have 'weak points'. And on that subject to, again, maybe pointless pontification...but this is the whole reason I am giving this game a chance in the first place...that for Dragon Age it does have some promise to it. Not good at it I guess, impressive button mashing in addition to actual tactics that I still need to develop, but the biggest challenge in adapting this combat system for DA (or ACs kind of) will be the existance of the DA abilities and the companion system. Oh though neat note on the levelling system I discovered that completing the ability labors not only gives you XP but also eventually gives you upgrades that you can chose how you want to play, which also costs more XP. Like the Inquisition ability evolutions. Thematically the really neat anti war war game thing is starting to develop in the current arc. I suspect some tough choices lie ahead because it seems while no one wants war there may be one coming which we will all get caught up in. Sometimes you don't have good choices. The Secrets of GroaAnd what some secrets there are too. A lot more conversations on the way of the nature of war and sort of the right thing to do, as well as more trying to remember what happened when I was here last time since there was an obvious before and after thing going on...there is a contuing story being told here. So Kratos seemed to hear the singing of mommy dearest again, his wife, and was almost pulled back into the light but Artreus snapped him out of it. Then him, Tyr, and Kratos had a conversation about the nature of the Dark Elves. Reminding Kratos/ me/ telling Tyr that last time we were here the Dark Elf King told us we were fighting for the wrong side. And this sparked recrimination because Artreus was musing and feeling guilty about the situation that he thought the Dark Elves were...really tripping over his language there ...but essentially Dark and Evil. So he asked Tyr if the Dark Elf was right that they were fighting for the wrong side...and Tyr responded with that was the wrong question...is there a right side? Oh I wish our politicians would play this game. This was followed almost immedietly by Tyr getting jumped by a Light Elf and defending himself, knocking the Light Elf out cold, but collapsing next to him out of guilt. A Light Elf guardian showed up, the boss of the level, and me and Artreus defended ourselves. Only took me two times to do it and I feel like I was really doing some good synergy with Artreus. Afterwards Tyr appologized for his behavior and for coming along with us and once more Artreus wondered if we were fighting for the right side again...Kratos replied, very aptly, that the right side is any side opposed to us. I feel I am not doing what he actually said justice but honestly given the circumstances and the themes it does work really well and is a good counter balance, self defense is a thing, didn't start the fight with the Light Elves...don't think we did against the Dark ones either. As for the secrets of Groa themselves, well we found another one of the neat cabinets that the Jotun's use. In there we get another reference to Ironwood (of which Artreus almost let slip he heard that from Jomangandur) and apparently its a mystical Jotun paradise. Other big note though apparently she lied to Odin about Ragnarok, apparently there is the possibility of winning Ragnarok and defeating Odin...and destroying Asgard in the process. Tyr wasn't exactly happy by these revelations since he would be leading these forces.

Geralt collect Uma from the Baron's men and returned to Kaer Morhen - with a brief detour to Vizima along the way. Fixed a megascope, killed a forktail and juiced a phylactery by putting it on a stone bench and lighting some candles. Got blind drunk and played Never Have I Ever - Witcher edition, put on my girlfriends dress and prank called a wizard. Then cured Uma - the Ugliest Man Alive. Now, it's off to gather allies to assist against the Wild Hunt.

I'm just doing the story so it goes fast, and it's not the first time I do those episodes. I've taken 4-5 characters through (some partially) Path of Fire already. I know what to expect and the best way to do things. First time I get a Charr that far thought. There is some racial flavor text in the story. Logan just said he found it weird to let a Charr in the throne room. I find it weirder that Queen Jenna wanted my character there to reassure the ministers at the start of the episode. That Caudecus (I just realize I mixed the letters thanks to autocorrect, he deserve it) boss fight is one I consider "easy" among the hard ones. He hits hard, but that's about it. Some future fights have more complex mechanics. Some fights might also look hard, but they actually have a rhythm and it's only hard when you fail at following it. Good luck with your Skyscale collections. I finally put the time to get mine last year.

At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

After acquiring an important piece in the volcanic ruins, we head over a moon that was shattered due to a cataclysmic event and it still has a High Republic era droids and gear attending to it:

Wow you are quick with the story. I was distracted with metaevents and collecting stuff for the time I can unlock the Skyscale ( my prime goal). Plus I do struggle with some of the bosses like Caudecus. But I do agree about Braham, he is so annoying atm. And yes, I'm so hyped about BG3 that I basically live in the BG3 forum right now and look for news. I'm trying to finish LWS3 in the next days too. My problem with Caudecus was that the Veteran Jade Armor would push me into the baddies on the floor and I would die instantly. I think, I died at least ten times during that fight. But I guess when you did the fights a few times it gets easier, because you know what to expect.

But I guess when you did the fights a few times it gets easier, because you know what to expect. I learned to stand clear of Jade Armor a long time ago and to deal with their breakbar asap. Also, "counter magic" skill that popup is super important during all Living World 3 (first entry in Ancient Magic mastery, should be unlocked while doing Bloodstone Fen). It's 100% counter Spectral Agony (big damage) from the Jade Armor and can be used in a few story boss fights. But there is way too much knockbacks from enemies/environmental in LS3. Trying to stack some stability helps, but my current build is crap at generating that buff, so I got knocked around like a pinball a lot . I had no issue dealing with that on my Harbinger thought, healing on condition damage is great because condition damage continue ticking when you don't attack.

I'm not sure, if my Soulbeast is ideal for the story, she was my first character so I did the story with her. I think my mechanist and harbinger might fare better, but it is as it is now.

I finished Miasma Chronicles after 30h. Had a corrupted auto save at the end that made my game crash. Fortunately redoing one battle before the cutscene that crashed it fixed the issue. I had crashes before, so did my coworker. This is the most unstable game I've ever played and it's also poorly optimized and stutters a lot.
The game had gotten fairly easy the past ten hours or so. I was max level for about an hour. I had all the best weapons. I was NOT prepared for the final boss fight. GOOD GRIEF!
I think it took me 2h and about 10 reloads to manage. And it was a close call. Maybe this fight was when utilizing the miasma powers pays off. I used one of them a bit and it did help but I didn't have enough money to stock up well on EMP grenades for the robot enemies and I ran out of healing minutes before the fight was over. I'm not sure if the cover system is bugged on top of it or the visuals are misleading. I thought I was hiding behind a glass wall but bullets got through it as if I was standing in the open even though the glass is not broken. Even if you stand behind full cover shots get you after all when you're just ever so slightly flanked. Cover felt so useless in this game.
It was just sheer luck that I survived...
Overall I enjoyed the gameplay even though cRPG fans will probably say this game is not good mechanics wise. The story is well told but nothing special. The ending narrative is over the top positive even though nothing was really resolved. So there's sequel bait. The tone of the ending was way too optimistic. Almost corny, really. Felt a bit unearned. Rushed, I guess.

Picked up Act 2 in Diablo 4. Trying to focus on main story missions while doing side quests that are along the way. I must be blind as there are a crap ton of Lilith altars in each area but I've only found a teeny fraction of them.
