I loved The Talos Principle, such a beautiful game and the best environmental puzzle game next to Portal1/2 IMO.
The Talos Principle is among my all-time favorite Indie games, so this is definitely on my list. I just need to dig my way out from under my backlog first...
The first game had a crazy number of easter eggs & secrets. Gonna take my time with it for sure.
I haven't been able to sit down and play for any significant time recently so just been playing games that I can spend 10-20 minutes with before walking away (edit: Minesweeper and Freecell). That changed over the weekend where I sat down and started Horizon Zero Dawn and got through the tutorials. I have another project that is gaming tangential for I bought a spring coil monitor arm and installed that so I have a better angle playing games for I was looking at a downward angle and always felt like I was missing something for my view wasn't at a natural position.
The game quickly gets back on track after the subway chapter.
Took another stroll through town. Plenty of doors and gates I can't open yet without a screwdriver or a boltcutter (which I don't have yet). I have no idea why a car belonging to the FBI wouldn't have these things, but... games will game.

Started a new PT of MEA for N7 day, another Sara and arrived in the Andromeda Galaxy. Had an encounter with a Dark energy Cloud and dad and Captain Dunn didn't see eye to eye on what to do.
Survived Habitat 7, Dad and Kirkland didn't, got to The Nexus no one else had, survived talking to Tann and Addison, the exiles and Krogan didn't.
Headed to Eos and activated the Monoliths and restarted The Vault.
This game looks so good on my new 2560x1440 monitor.
Not sure I can go back to Starfield after playing MEA again TBH. Everything is better, character quality, better story already, better combat, the flying between planets, the ship interior, knowing where your companions are on the ship, having more than one companion with you, companion banter, The Nomad instead of walking, the overall graphics, music and sound etc.

Yeah struggling to figure out wha to do with m ybacklog too in some areas. I don't remember when I bought it exactl ybut playin Midnight Suns is making me think about digging out and giving the Deadpool game a go. He's definitely a lot of fun t ouse in Midnight Suns. Speaking of...
Midnight Suns
Didn't quite make it as far as I wanted to yesterday as I got rather busy resource gathering and levelling up but I did manage to finish Act 2 and get to Act 3 so I don't have far to go main story wise as Act 3 isn' t only the final part but also the shortest of the 3 acts. I 'm thinking I might prioritize the remaining DLC's though before I get too swept up in finishing the main game so m ymain tas ktoda ywill be finish Morbius and Storm's quests. Once I've done them and I survive I'll turn m yattention bac kt othe main story.
Been playing Everspace 2. Its been fun so far. I just upgraded from the starter ship to a Vindicator class which lets me use the wreckage of ships to create drones that help fight. Story seems interesting enough so far, and the exploration is decent. You basically have a galaxy map you cruise around in and then zone into the smaller open exploration zones.
Besides being somewhat exited of th3 new ME teaser trailer and images (please Bioware, don't rely on modders to finish your games) this happened in Elden Ring: So we fo back to Elden Ring where we test Black Knife Tiche against a gargoyle and then proceed to abuse it as it gets stuck on a stair set:
Mass Effect Trilogy, Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age Inquisition, KOTOR, Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect Andromeda, Anthem, Mass Effect Legendary Edition
Should finish the DLC's toda yin Midnight Suns given I only have the final mission there then I can direct my efforts back to the main story and get busy working through Act 3. Must admit I'm starting to feel ready to move onto something else. Considering I'v edone a lo to flewvelling up t omake suer my team aer in top condition given I'm on a harde rsetting. It's taken a whil et oge twher I am. I've had a fwe close calls whe rI almost lost as I had another yestreday where the game almos tbeat me.If it does beat me then so be it but I'm hoping it won't given how far I've come. I am thinking of just really focusing on the missions and less on general levelling up frpom this poin ton but I ma ystill d othe occasionasl practice in the training room. Mainly for those that are still underlevelled though.
Mass Effect Trilogy, Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age Inquisition, KOTOR, Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect Andromeda, Anthem, Mass Effect Legendary Edition
My Midnight Suns run has come to an end but i twa sgood while it lasted. Dracula managed to beat me on my3 strikes and your out rule. I will admi tthoug htha tfina lmission even on Story mod eisn' teasy s oI shouldn' tb esurprised. I wi lpla ythe gam eagain at some point an drt yon Norma lagain but I'm done with it for now. I think how I was approaching the game was right as I was making good progress in general. I think it's jus tthat mission is tricky without the Hunter's heal cards so need t ofind a way to compensate for that when I try tha tmission on Normal next time .I'll probably do a couple of story mode runs to work on my strategy some more before cranking things up again though. In the meantime I'll take a break and play some other games.
But why wouldn't you discuss the question of individual vs. universal morality with your own subconscious, which manifests itself as a sunglass-wearing robot, sipping margaritas on an imaginary beach, I ask you.
Started Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Which is a mouthful. I miss the Yakuza name, it was short and sweet and you knew just what sorts of hooligan stuff you were getting up to. But so far so good! Since the game is hot from the oven I'm putting the session in spoilers, but there shouldn't be any story spoilers, just combat/mini game ramblings.
Already made it to chapter 2, and more importantly I have access to Koi Koi, Mahjong and Karaoke. Like the three pillars of the series. The Karaoke is a bit jittery, wondering if I'm playing the game on too high a setting, but on the other hand I just souped up my PC so was kinda hoping to enjoy graphical superiority for like at least a year...Songs were very good though, nice mix of the oldies and the new ones are just delightful.
Koi Koi was so fun. The opponent even called KOI! And then proceeded to utterly destroy me but it's way more satisfying than when they play super defensive and never call Koi. Like let me jam to the music! It's fire!. Also we don't talk about Mahjong except for the fact I did win my first match so happy about that. Figure I'll lose the next hundred but still.
Combat is fun. Ended up choosing normal difficulty and was kinda regretting it until I got curb stomped by an early boss. Granted part of it was because I had some delusions about wanting to win the fight without using healing items. Hahaha not happening but I'm feeling like normal was the right move since the nonsense seems to be starting early. Which is not bad but playing on normal is better for my sanity
Story so far is fun too. Haven't opened up the side stuff yet, but hoping I'm getting close, since it makes playing the mini games a bit extra special. I'll still play some of them without it, like if you try to keep me from Koi Koi hands will be thrown, but it's nice to have those little goals. Colosseum can stuff itself.
The racing game has a some awesome music. But 8 laps feels like bit of an overkill. The physics in the UFO catchers feel kinda crazy, like the toys are lighter so they just shoot off, so my technique of dragging the toys to the hole has so far been unsuccessful. But this too can be defeated.
So TLDR having a blast and already looking forwards to the next session.

So kept on with MEA yesterday, set up the outpost on Eos, explored Site 2 and killed lots of Kett and a Giant Beast after taking a scan of it (tricky business that), completed scanning all the dead bodies and built site 2's project.
Headed back to The Nexus and solved some technical problems and kicked a naughty security guy off the Nexus.
Gave SAM some maths problems to solve from Dr. Aridana, SAM was too good for the Trojan Horse virus in them and Dr. Aridana proved innocent but evidence pointed to some hackers led by someone called Knight TBC.
Did an interview, though the temptation was strong didn't flirt with Kerri, going to be strong and just flirt with Cora, Suvi and Liam. No getting jiggy with PB in the Escape Shuttle either. I know I can do it, I just know I can be strong enough to resist the temptation.
Spoke to Scott and caused him to get upset by telling the truth.
Back to The Tempest and chatted with everyone and flirted again with Cora, Suvi and Liam. I have never romanced Gil and was tempted for about 5 seconds and then thought no.
Did some Strike Team missions and decided to start selling "nearly" everything I have including the resources of which i have an enormous amount after 25 previous PT's. I need to find a new MOD for the Store with quantities like 16,000+ of some items it is just too painful to sell that amount of stuff.
I currently have about 35,000,000 credits I expect I may double that.
Pic's
The Kett are dead and The Heavens have parted so Drack joined the team.
I made a smuggler to do the 15 missions by origin X for the Galactic Season (takes like 30 minutes with a new character and I deleted my Smugglers/BH) and now I kinda want to play a smuggler. Pew! Pew!
Anyway, back to Consular on Quesh and then two flashpoints which are set in Chapter 2 and are also part of the Galactic Season. After that the destination is frigid and white despite its name aka Hoth...but that's tomorrow and Friday I think.

I like my current captain quarters - it has a bed, desk area, dining table, coffee maker, bathroom, and a nav console. I imagine Mira and Sam plotting where to go next while still in their jammies (or skivvies ).
I was think maybe playing some Mass Effect (like dazk, but I might go Legendary edition instead of MEA) because N7 day was yesterday or since I talked about it: Dishonored.
Playing SWTOR (well the consular at least) is actually tiring my busted wrist a lot this time, so I can play like top 1.5 hours. I need something else to play since got around 3 hours of free time for gaming per day (more on weekends).

Does it have a Space Hamster though!!!!!
The Viability thing in the bedroom is better than a Nav Console, be no good if my LI hung around in the cabin as they'd find out there were three of them.

Funnily playing MEA has been great for my hands especially my left thumb (stupid ineffective (at times) boost) after Starfield which had been killing them for some reason.

Robocop
Have to repeat some levels again after finding out I missed side missions or items for achievement.
For the Arcade, there is the hidden connection. I thought it was an area I couldn't open initially. I repeated and got it opened but it turned out not to be it so I'm not sure where to find the evidence of this hidden connection. There's something at the grocery store as well but I couldn't find anything.
For the vulture gang level, I got all the OCP boxes except one which is located on the second floor only accessible by a locked ladder which I can't get to unlock.
I got A pass so far in grading but got a B for the bank heist because I didn't discover two secrets. 🙄 Looks like I'll have to repeat.
On another front. Finally a launch date for Homeworld 3. February 2024! 😄 Hope the devs kept some of the original sounds tracks and looking forward to new ones.
Nothing can beat the purity of voices raised in song. When I heard this back in 1999, it was an ethereal experience. I've the slightly longer original version of this and it sounds better.
