Robocop Finished the game. I've also scored all the achievements which aren't hard to get. 😄 I definitely like games that doesn't make it difficult. On the story, it's clear at one point what's happening with Murphy, why and how. This game is worth a revisit at a later point if there's a need for a shoot them out. Besides, I didn't get some of the discoveries during missions which would affect Murphy's grading. Luckily, scored enough on the other SQs and he'll score an A on every outing. On the story, I think the devs can take it to the next development if they want to do a sequel. It would be interesting to see what they can come up with considering the new players introduced at the end and whether they would affect the landscape of Detroit. Looks lik eyou've finished jus ta sI'm abou tto start as I was goin gt otry th egam etoda yan dhave som efun with it. Mus tadmit I' mlooking forward to it as it's been a while sinc eI las tplayed an FPS so I'm definitel yin th emood. In fac tI don't think I've played on esince Halo Infinite came out. Aye. It's fun. Enjoy! 😄 There's no timer for the main objectives so walk around the city area to pick up SQs. It isn't big so no chance of getting lost. Your decisions on the SQs will define whether you prefer to uphold the law or win public trust. Your score on either one would affect epilogue cutscenes though not the main ending. Also take note that later in the game, two politicians will vie for Robo's support. It's totally optional on whether Robo would want to speak to them or not. The final decision on Robo's stance on the politicos is in the later levels when a reporter, not Samantha, asks Robo which one does he support. On the upgrading of Auto 9 (Robocop's gun) which require PCB boards which will be available after a couple of levels, the chips looted from OCP chests are random. I got a 5.1 PCB board in the late levels but opted to use the 4.3 because of the chips which allow me to upgrade the damage of the Auto 9 to 120, filling up the bar. Don't bother with the spread upgrade because it doesn't do much but you'll still get some of it due to the layout of the PCB circuitry. Damage is the priority followed by armor piecing then ammo capacity. I got the Auto 9 to full damage, auto refill with 99 bullets for every round but could only attain a 20+ armor piercing. Again, it's the type of chips that are picked up that is a factor. If you have a lot of chips, you can combine three to make a new one. The result is random btw. Robo can pick up any weapon the mobs dropped but he can only carry one extra besides his Auto 9. He is automatically equipped with a OCP rifle but I always ditched it if I see a heavy assault SMG. Advice is to go for the heavy in the later levels. It really help against the bosses. And irregardless that Robo is armored, take cover. 😄

So I'm out to get achievements. 😄 I took a look at the games that are closed to completion and there're two; AC Odyssey and Homeworld.
There's one left for Odyssey but it requires Kassandra to reach the point of where she can access the Isu memories. Not there yet, I think.
There are two for Homeworld. It requires completing the Classic tutorial and stopping the Turanic Carriers.
Classic tutorial means I fire up the classic game included with the Remastered and play the tutorial. Oh simple really. Yeah .... no. I started the classic and found myself staring at bready blocky graphics and unreadable fonts. I couldn't see anything so I did some guess work and clicked randomly at the buttons. The tutorial started. All was fine until I had to start building ships which I couldn't do because the graphics are bad.
I forced the game closed and tried to find some solutions. I did this and that for 20 minutes. No joy. Ok, let's forget it. I checked the achievements again for the second achievement to get and found the game registered the classic tutorials as done. 🤣 I got the classic tutorial achievement after all. 😂
The last was to do a mission to stop the Turanic Carriers from escaping. This is not in the main games 1 and 2 but in a demo when I did some search. However, the devs had dropped it in the extra missions option for the Remastered.
I started it and promptly became confused after five minutes because I forgot some of the controls. I sent the ships the wrong way too and they were chewed up by an embedded defense network. 🤣 Ah well. Looks like I have to replay the Remastered again to reorient or I'll be sending ships needlessly to their deaths.

Ok, so we didn't get a new attraction or creature for the game Jurassic World Evolution 2 but, we got a nice piece of decoration that also pays homage to the late Sir Richard Attenborough plus, a teaser to many locations I have yet show you (JW Florida, Australia, Isla Cabrera and others past locations):

The puzzles put me off the first game, if it is heavily puzzle based I am just not a puzzle person. In that case, the second is probably not for you either. It basically uses the exact same mechanics but adds more stuff to them. But yeah, it's basically puzzles, exploration and story, that's the core of the game. Can you look the puzzle solutions up or are they random? The first game looked great but when I learned about how many puzzles there were it was hard pass.

Everspace 2. I've gotten to the third space sector now. Still enjoying it, though I do wish there was a bit more variety to missions and such. At this point its pretty much either go here and loot something, blow up a base, or kill a specific target. The story is at least keeping me interested for now.

I finished Talos Principle 2. Does it have QR codes like the first one did, that could only be scanned with a phone? That was really the only thing I disliked about the first game. Whatever those things were should have been viewable using in-game tools.

That was really the only thing I disliked about the first game. Whatever those things were should have been viewable using in-game tools. Wait, the QR codes in the first game? Didn't the text just show up when you hovered over them with the mouse? I do remember it that way. Maybe they patched that in though. I only played TP1 about a year or two after release (because I was an ignorant fool ). EDIT: Oh, I just googled it, apparently there were a few QR codes that didn't have the text there. I completely forgot this (but it's been a while since I played TP1). There are no such codes in TP2. In any case, in TP2, the QR codes only show up in one particular place in the game: A museum about the first part. And there, too, when you hover over them with the mouse, the text will show up in the clear on screen. By the way, what they also do again is that some files which you can find on the terminals have corrupted parts, which are in Hex ASCII. Translating those is a hugge effort. I only translated a few and they are not necessary at all. Just like in the first one, they can give you some hints and foreshadowing but there is not much gain in doing so. Just a nice little tidbit for the aficionados.

Question for people that use Frosty Mod Manager as I have forgotten, is the load order in terms of priority Top of the list overrides the ones after it or the ones lower down override the ones above them?
I am having trouble getting an audio MOD to work and I have two or three others and it is the one I really want to work.

Alan Wake IIOnly had a little time to play this week, but still took my time exploring the town of Watery (which is, I can confirm, watery). Not a whole lot to this "town", but what is there has been rendered very well. It definitely has the right mood. At the far end of town, we finally met Ilmo's brother Jaakko in person. Naturally, the road access to Coffee World is cut off, so... equally naturally... we have to detour through the creepy Taken-and-wolf-filled forest to get to said Coffee World. But we do score a nice crossbow along the way. And I love the fact that our first Main-Super-Duper-Important Quest when getting there... Find a screwdriver. Expect drama.

I finished Talos Principle 2. All I can say is: Wow! They knocked this one out of the park big time. The whole game is great and the ending is fantastic!!! I cannot overstate this. In a year with Starfield, Diablo 4, Jedi Survivor and many more excellent games and I am not kidding, I think Talos Principle 2 is my GOTY 2023. By the way, I did everything, all the puzzles, monuments, collected all the stars, got all the rewards (well worth it IMO). Looks like I am actually one of the first to do everything. Pretty cool but I do wish more people would be playing this. Great game! Great to hear! While I plan to 100% this game as well, I'm also looking forward to seeing what the speedrunners can do here. In the first game, I watched a couple of amazing runs with some very interesting shortcuts.

Hogwarts Legacy
Not much to play tonight which is also weird since I actually got a lot done. Well two 'main quests' at least. Which I discovered you can't save your game in the middle of the main quest/ class room assignments which is...interesting because I thought you could. Maybe not just the class rooms?
Next note I did not do Summoner's Charms and that court thing that often but I actually won the second match. From going shut out in the first time and Professor Ronen decided to make things interesting by setting up these rolling barrier things. But anyways I couldn't get anything on the board for love or money after the first time...but the second time? Got all three perfect. That was exhilerating. Must say though Professor Ronen was a little but of a dick because dude this new guy hasn't been doing any magic for 4 years...he's four years behind! Give him some opprotunity to get up to speed. Makes me wonder just how archetypal all the teachers are. May be worth paying attention to.
Second big draw of this game and really any game/ piece of fiction is that you know what to look for and see things get set up and character introductions have a little bit more weight. On that note...ugh trying not to spoil...but Sebastian Swallow and Ominis Gaunt have a chat in charms. And somehow Sebastian talking about using Accio on people as being a bit significant. Also Natsai Onai.

Mostly because I don't know when I'll finish with NFS Heat atm and I've been thinking I can always swap them round later and I'v ebeen feeling an itch to get started on it. I'll wait a couple of days before I do download it though as I find downloads go faster generally on weekdays I think because o fless traffic during the day on places lik eSteam given most peopl eae rworking rathe rthan gaming So the next coupl eo fdays I'll be busy eithe rin Andromeda o rHogwarts. I won' trul eout mayb edoing som eDAI either though depends on my mood.

At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

Returning to Isla Nublar 2015, I invest into fixing the HQ zone and other things to lay the foundation:

Did the Heist in Fallout 76 with my friends. It was very, very hard as I chose the stealth method and my friends were not prepared for that We play 3 people, one with PS4 and 2 with PS5. Awful thing is with PS5 you are many many seconds before PS4 player can be there when you fast travel... anyway, really fun game with friends.

SWTOR
I got my ship back! And now I was enrolled in some treasure chase game by someone called Risha. She said she would make me incredibly wealthy. At worst, I can always space her. I just have to make sure Corso doesn't see me because he's going to be whining about it for months. He's already drinking on the job...
Smuggler sure is a nice change of pace from playing a Jedi.
I also installed Dishonored, but haven't booted it up yet.
