I 100% agree with you and currently on my 27th PT (but paused on Elaaden for more Starfield) still enjoy it as much as I did the first time. 27?! You guys are making me wanna play it. Play it!!! I got 4 complete PTs of MEA. I wanted to play it again after I went through ME Legendary again, but I kinda abandoned my ME2 PT at this point. I might still play MEA in January or something, I'm just dabbling into too many games right now to add that on.

I've finally finished my 5th playtrough( 4th Ryder) of Mass Effect Andromeda, which I started back after 2022 N7 Day, albeit I played most of it for the past month. Honestly I got a bit emotional, this game really is amazing in spite of some of it's flaws. I really felt really sad when I finally ran out of all dialogues with this crew, I'll miss them dearly. As well the final mission is amazing. Beautiful locations, fun and engaging combat, incredibly cinematic and most of all seeing your allies come and help you in the final showdown. Not just in cutscenes or background audio, but they actually come out and aid you as allied NPCs. This is what I always wanted out of Mass Effect 3 and it upsets me to this day we never got that there. I love this game and I love Mass Effect still. I 100% agree with you and currently on my 27th PT (but paused on Elaaden for more Starfield) still enjoy it as much as I did the first time. I've kind of stopped countin gbu tyeah I think I'm close to 30 now as well. I'm currently on Elaaden as well just done th evault there. I was tempted to put my MEA playthroug hon hold to start a BG3 playthrough but I'm holdin goff until afte rI finis hAndromeda. But I thought if I concentrate on it I ca nfinish the playthrough befoer Christmas and ge tstarted on BG3 after tha tan d hav ea couple o fgoes a it an dse ehow fa rI get. I'm planning on diong my own custom character fo rm yfirs trun but I'm tempted to use shadow heart as my avatar too at some point. Either wa yI'm looking forward to starting. I'm thinking afte rI've had a go at BG3 though I'll then start on a HZD run as i wan tt od oa playthroug hor 2 of tha tbefoe rForbidden West drops. Still no ETA on that beyond early 2024 but I'm hoping we get a date soon. No tsue rquie tye twhen I'll start on Cyberpun kthough give nI want t o do a full DA run after I finis hm yactiv eDAI run and I'm considering a ME trilogy run too after HZD. I do ge tth efeeling though tha tBG3 will be a nice game to relax with over Christmas though so it makes sense to turn to it once I finish MEA

I bit the bullet so to speak and bought Rogue Trader. Quite enjoying it so far. Fairly easy to pick up and understand even if you're like me an know next to nothing about Warhammer 40K. See how I get on.

Rogue Trader
The lore of this game world is an unnecessary mouthful when it comes to technology. 🤣
She tries to desecrate the Rite of Operation with her unholy litanies to corrupt the relic and the world may perish in a fount of fire. But my brethren in their magnetic meditation hampered her efforts by chanting access request prayers in unison thereby suppressing the commands the blasphemers enter.
I get tripped and confused when I read dialogues like this and realised several seconds later that the NPC is talking about entering unceasing input into the computer so that no one could successfully hack into it.
There are so many words and names that make no sense on the first pass.

So now we start the newest park project and this time we start devising Jurassic World Australia. We go a bit faster this time as we already have the basic idea of what we are aiming for:

Oh I need to get myself a strategy to speed trough the game because open world( stares at Voeld specifically) is rather exhausting to repeat. Not as simple as play main story, since some decisions//completed missions impact final mission.
Mainly to experience all romance options. So far I did Vetra, Liam, Cora and PeeBee( one I just did), as well as Avela and Keri as you can do those while romancing one in main cast.
My next MEA game in future will be repeat of my main Ryder though, gonna look into mods too. So Vetra will be romanced again lol!
But yeah, eventually I need to try out the rest. Same for MELE, as I while I did romance everyone in ME1 and ME2, I never did so with ME3 as endings made me a bit too upset. MELE+MEHEM+other big mods help, but I need time now as I have a job.

Got to the final campaign in the RTS: Universe At War: Earth Assault. Not an easy game to find since Steam kicked it off their store but we all know why that is: *Cough* SEGA *Cough* So amazon it is. All in all it still has a better story than the ending of C&C3 and ALL OF C&C4. Which may have something to do with Westwood devs going to Petrogyph Studios -though the game being as old as it is now I doubt they are still there. If they are I hope one day we could get a UAW:EA 2. Screenshots... Mini Campaign 0 Campaign 1 Campaign 2 Campaign 3 Campaign 4 -You choose route.

On BG III I am trying to figure out how the various difficulties work and doing research on them. Not being able to multi class on explorer is a bit dissapointing...however if they are supposed to keep things simple I suppose that makes sense. Just wondering how they work for when/ if I do get the game and just...well google is great for telling me their technical stats but not good at telling me how it actually feels. You can switch difficulty to balanced, multi class then drop it back down to explorer. Or not, balanced isn't too bad. But you can be Dora the paladin/ranger/wizard explorer.

Rogue Trader
I've given up on Rogue Trader for now as I've hit twice by a rather annoying bug/glitch. The keyboard controls will just stop working and it seems to be totally random as to why and when this happens. The only way to get things working to quit out of the game and reboot the computer as it totally screws with the desktop and pretty much nothing works. I'll wait for some patches before I try again. I did at least get through the prologue which was interesting.

What did I do today in a game? Nothing. I went for a roughly 7.5km walk through the quiet backroads of the city. Won't last long though, probably get in a match or few of Mass Effect 3 MP later. Been having quite a bit of fun with that even if I'm scraping rust off from a hiatus and frankly, am just old. *** I had my restartitis flare up while playing BSG:Deadlock over the weekend. I played around 35-40ish misisons first run, got a handle on how I think I want to build things on a longer term. My choice to get another fleet going early seems spot on, yay me, so going to get that started even earlier. My fleet comps will look a bit different and I have a bit of a game-plan in terms of when/where I want my fleet buildup to occur. The game seems to have a balance to it in terms of how long you have to accomplish things. You have a Quorum of Twelve colonies you have to keep happy. They have a straightforward coloured bar denoting how happy they are with you, along with a whole intelligence screen I've only glanced at so far. (I'm sure that'll bite me in the ass later.) Green/yellow/orange/red, then the flag pulls up and they drop their support. Lose 6 of 12 and the game goes on hold until you get em back. You increase the colonies happiness by having a fleet with an officer "anchored" to it. You lose it when the Cylon fleet has theirs anchored to the planet instead of yours. There seem to be other components but I'll get to em when it seems a tad more relevant. These twelve colonies ( the twelve colonies if you're a BSG fan) give you tyllium each turn, so it's nice to have them all. The happier they are the more they give. Tyllium is one of two main currencies, necessary for ship building and FTL jumps. The balance I spoke of, is in keeping these colonies while managing the Cylon fleet(s). It seems you can take as much time as you want to get most things done so long as you don't lose to the tide of Cylons parking at your planets and lowering their support. There are story missions that stick 'til you do them, random missions with a reasonable amount of turns to get them done, and then random Cylon fleets that appear randomly. Story missions unlock blueprints, but also have some unique challenges. My plan is to get Viper Mark II's unlocked, then hold off on the story missions. While that is under way, instead of building Manticore corvettes as I was doing last campaign, this time I'm going to be focusing on building what are called Adamant class ships. They're kind of proto-battlestars. Heavy frigates that lack main front guns but have a reasonable (if woefully inaccurate) broadside, along with a munitions slot for missiles/torpedoes and most importantly, a fighter slot. Each Adamant can carry a Viper Mark II squad. I'll also be anchoring my mobile shipyard to a planet that provides a 10% discount to ship building. So my strategy is set. Heavy frigates and fighters. My tactic is simple but has been working fairly well. I send my sweet fancy Viper Mark II's at the enemy, I swap all power to my engines, and I run like mad. My fighters deal with almost all the enemy and I mop up the stragglers. First time I tried this I didn't lose a single fighter and they tore through 7 enemy ships. It's basically kiting in space. Surprisingly the Mark II's are resilient in the fact nothing seems able to hit them. And if it does, I send them for the rearmost ship and then they take down the toasters from the rear almost completely safe. Worse case scenario the toasters actually stop and turn around to engage the fighters which still works in my favour. Once my fighters have LoS on em, my ships, regardless of how far away they are, have a munitions lock and can target (semi)guided missiles and pop the enemy one by one. This tactic also seems rather effective even if I have to engage the enemy fleet early for some reason. (Typically mission related, Ie. defend the slow-ass freighter.) Instead of rushing at a Cylon blob I string them out like pearls, giving my fighters time to deal with the back end or flankers of the enemy, while my main fleet mows down the incoming trickle. This meta won't last to endgame I suspect, there'll be a tipping point where just popping enemy ships head-on is likely going to yield the best results. But I suspect this is worth restarting to get done right so I can have a nice launch-pad from mid to end game. ...if I ever get there. *** Rogue Trader The lore of this game world is an unnecessary mouthful when it comes to technology. 🤣 She tries to desecrate the Rite of Operation with her unholy litanies to corrupt the relic and the world may perish in a fount of fire. But my brethren in their magnetic meditation hampered her efforts by chanting access request prayers in unison thereby suppressing the commands the blasphemers enter.I get tripped and confused when I read dialogues like this and realised several seconds later that the NPC is talking about entering unceasing input into the computer so that no one could successfully hack into it. There are so many words and names that make no sense on the first pass. Games Workshop lore gets... weird. (And not the good kind.)
Did love my 'nids though, back in the day.

Rogue Trader Books, leaflets, documents cannot be dropped or destroyed so they're stuck in inventory. However, the rogue trader has a storage vault in her quarters but I find it very stupid the devs did not put in a feature to destroy items that are of no use. It could be a bug because I remember I could throw things out of the inventory but perhaps books etc are the exception. There is no auto leveling either so if I don't particularly want to to personally level up a companion, I have to do it. I think the devs are getting lazy or this game is missing useful features.

Rogue Trader
Upgrading the ship is a must. Space battles are annoying.
The Koronas Expanse is huge. In order to reveal nearby systems, the Navigator has to scan and her ability to do it is dependent on how much insight she has. This insight is in turn influence by other factors.
The route to every system is not always safe and they do not remain the same as they can change. New systems have to be scanned for anomalies and resources.
So far I've come across a strange derelict, a nest of pirates, a hermit and a few resources to extract. The communications officer will interrupt explorations on what's happening onboard the voidship now and then.

SWTOR
I did the Taral V and Maelstrom prison flashpoint. A bit late on my JK storyline, they should be done in Chapter 2 and I'm in chapter 3, but they were one of the Galatic season weekly. Also, One of my companion kinda referenced them before I set foot in them which was weird...
GW2
Hooray! Hooray! It's Wintersday.
I actually think this holiday event is a bit creepy. Jumping puzzle with death wind gust and exploding gifts. Ice gold heart Snowman you need to warm up. Haywire toy shop filled with murderous toys... But I've been done some of that and then my Living Season 3 storyline, now at Head of the Snake, so I passed the half-way.
I also managed to finish my weekly again, but I had to work for this one a bit. There was an objective that had me spent some time in a zone I had no need to go to.

Rogue Trader Space Elves!!! I want to play Space Elves ! Too bad this game does not have that option for PC. I've acquired a space elf as a companion. She's definitely no human. Rather tall and slim. A highly skilled sharpshooter. What's let dropped about them is interesting. Definitely want to learn more.

Rogue Trader A new bug appeared. Usually when the game loads, the continue button is available but now it's not so I have to make sure I do a manual save every time I close the game. This is Yrliet Lanaevyss. A Aeldari Ranger. The height of a human reaches the second square from the top so she's a slim giant. She's a romance companion for either male or female PC. The rest of the companions are human with one mutant human. From the list I saw, I think there's another recruitable male alien companion. I'm working a bit blind regards the quests. I can only hope there is no timer for any of them as I try to get to the intended destinations.

GW2I made a new character. A Lady Norn Guardian who use a hammer (currently). She's already level 80 and I don't need to unlock any elite spec for my build, it use core Guardian all the way. I was growing tired of always using a bow on my Ranger. This Guardian can less or more face tank champions. I tested her a bit in the expansion maps and she looks sturdy, kill stuff and I mostly just use hammer skill #1. No issue soloing a champion, even if I only managed to solo one. Players showed up for the others. Now I wonder if I speed through the story (again) or just do whatever with her. This is not helping my Cyberpunk PT. I actually played a little bit yesterday, but I'm find myself grinding for money to be able to make the build I want to play and it's a bit annoying. I hate grinding...

Rogue Trader
It reminds me of DUNE. Any planet that is habitable, exploitable is either under the Imperium or controlled by nobles and other factions. If you're born low, then your fate can be pretty terrible if you're very unlucky.
Early death by any numerous reasons Scooped up to be become scribe servitors etc under the cybernetic faction or general servitors Left on a resource planet to toll for your overlords
Ugh! When I read that a portion of the populace became scribe servitors, I had to wonder whether they were criminals or whether they were ordinary citizens without a say in the matter.

At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

GW2So that new Guardian, well I'm almost done with the core storyline with her. I'm already in Orr doing the level 80 story parts...and I somehow have 13 hours played. I don't think that's right. I barely played her yesterday and can't have played her 10 hours today... Anyway, so far my Hammer Guardian rocks.
